Open source shopping cart wont open with safari

Hi all...
I'm designing cart templates for a company that supplies an interface for uploading product to an open source shopping cart. The problem is I can't open the shopping carts with safari. They are fine with firefox and on a PC. (forgive me for swearing) The sites are open source carts based on php scripting with a lot of compressed data. A software interface is used to upload products etc... The error I get is
"Safari can’t open the page “not sure if I can put the link here as it is a business”. The error was: “bad server response” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1011) Please choose Report Bug to Apple..."
It's the same for all the sites using the carts.
Is there a fix at the user end or does safari simply not have support for these carts. Any help would be awesome....

PCI Compliance. As a merchant (online or brick & mortar store), you must take necessary steps to ensure your customer's CC info doesn't fall into the wrong hands. One way to do this is to pass your online customers off to a 3rd party processor like PayPal or Authorize.net. These companies are experts in safely gathering sensitive data, encrypting it and transmitting it to your payment Gateway and Merchant Bank account. This way, your customers never enter any sensitive data into your site's databases which avoids a lot of headaches for the web developer and merchant.
Server Security. Use a reliable web host. I can't emphasize this enough. Cheap hosting is no bargain especially if your host doesn't take reasonable steps to secure their servers at their end.
Lock down your php scripts & form log-ins to defend your site against possible hackers & robot exploitation. If your site is ever compromised, you will need reliable backups of your Site files and MySql data. Make sure to backup these files regularly and store them in a safe place.
Backend log-in. Use strong, encrypted passwords -- 17 characters, upper & lower case with symbols. If you can remember your passwords, they're not strong enough. I keep mine written down in a Rolodex.
Change the Admin log-in name to something less obvious like GrandHighExhaltedMysticRuler or something only you will recognize as the site's admin level user. It's also a good idea to change your server, database and backend log-ins regularly.
Finally, consider running SecureLive on your web server. I have it running on a dedicated server and this software has more than paid for itself. It identifies hacker attempts, blocks the user and sends the hacker's IP address to an FBI database. SecureLive - Home

I have been messing around with osCommerce for over 6 months
now and its a great program. But as I am limited in my knowledge of
php, and need some kind of graphical display for when I am editing
and such like.
I was thinking to make a osCommerce type shop using
dreamweaver, I will be creating the frame and some basic functions.

Shopping cart offline approval with outlook

Dear Experts,
Currenlt we are working on SRM 5.0 classic scenario and ECC 6.0. I want to implement shopping cart offline approval with outlook.
Can you please guide me what all are the settings need to be done for offline approvals....

The program RSWUWFMLEC was used to scehdule offline approval mails upto SRM 4.0(In SRM 5.0,report RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP is used)..

You need to check the settings mentioned in the link above before you scehdule the report for snding the approval mails to the external email ID's of the approvers.
The job mentioned are only for sending the approval mails.To send the requester notification messages to external mail box (instead of SRM inbox),see the foll thread for more pointers:

I am having trouble clicking on anything in gmail. have tried to reply to mail, open contacts etc but does not open. Have tried the same with safari with no problems

I can open gmail but unable to open contacts, reply/forward to email... i click on the various icons but it just permanently shows 'loading' ... If I try to open gmail via safari or vista there is no problem . . .

Shopping cart currency issue with Vendor order currency

Hi,
We are using SRM 7.0 with ECC 6.0 with classic scenario.
There is a strange issue :
Vendor order currency EUR.
User currency USD in org plan.but while creating a PO from approved shopping cart in SRM sourcing cockpit it should take vendor currency EUR.but it tooks user currency.why
while checking same shopping cart PO in R/3 it updates with user currency USD (which is in org plan) not with vendor currency EUR.
we don't know why the system is behaving like this.
But when we create a PO directly in R/3 it has taken vendor order currency EUR correctly.
So requesting all please help us where we need to check in SRM or any BADI's are overwritten this. how to debug in SRM.

Hi Fract,
Yuo can change the status of shopping cart by using FM:
BBP_PD_SC_STATUS_CHANGE_WF
but adding commnets is not possible here.
You can try to copy this FM and then modify the parameters to add comments though.

Opening downloaded .asp (Citrix ICA) files with Safari

I would like to have Safari, after downloading a Citrix connection file, open the Citrix ICA Client application and then use the file the establish a connection.
In other browsers, you can set this up under "helper applications" or something like that. I can't find where this is done in Safari.
I have Tiger and Citrix 7.02 for Mac. G3 IMAC.

Why wont Google Chrome open and says it wont work with this version of mac os 10

I just bought a macbook and when I went to instal Google Chrome it told me it isnt compatable with mac os 10

You should be able to update to OS X 10.6, or, if the Macbook is a late-2006 or newer one, to 10.7
You can still buy 10.6 from the Apple Store - http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
OS X 10.7 should be in the Mac App Store and is only available by downloading it from the online Mac App Store, but you will need 10.6 to get the store in the first place (the Mac App Store appeared with iOS 10.6.6).

Click-through links which would otherwise open in new windows, wont open at all

it may have something to do with the fact that i have a new laptop running windows 8 but on links which would normally open into a new window like document links or page editors won't open at all.
pop-ups are allowed, and i've tried to allow new windows in general but only one will be open. not even an error box shows up.

Website shopping basket cookies Problem With Safari only

My website shopping basket uses cookies and works find in all browsers except Safari, I have traced the problem to the £ sign, if the £ is present in the items description with I can't add the product, if I leave the £ out or use $ it all works fine, has anyone seen this problem before

Consider TenFourFox. It is a port of a later version of FireFox that was never coded for PowerPC Macs. Sites see it as a fairly recent version of FireFox. What TFF does not fix is web video content that was never optimized for PowerPC, and the current version of TFF does not suport plug-ins so Flash video is out.

I'm using it on a G4 MDD 1.25Ghz minitower with architecture similar later PowerBooks and it keeps that computer on the web for many tasks. It has become the "go to" browser for most people here who still like to use their pre-Intel Macs.

My camera app will not open i tap on the application then it freezes on the camera lens anamation where it is suppost to open along with photo booth and facetime i have already tryed to turn of the ipad and then turn back on also i tryed to reset by holding the sleep/wake button and still not working and deleting all of the multitasking

Try pressing and holding the Home and Power buttons and keep doing that until the Apple icon appears. This is basically a reboot and won't delete any files.

Archiving shopping carts and dealing with archives

in srm 2.0 we are archiving sc with transaction SARA. We don't know any other way than using report BBP_PD_ARCH_SEQREAD to pull archived sc back into the system, to display information concerning one sc. Recently we got short dumps because the archives are about 100 mb sized. So we ran out of memory, which caused the dump.
<i><b>And the Question is:</b></i>
Is there any other (better) way in higher releases than SRM 2.0 to deal with archived SC? This report BBP_PD_ARCH_SEQREAD is not really handy - the output looks similar to transaction bbp_pd but is much harder to read. So if you really need to get information you might as well jump through different tables as well.

I re-installed adobe because it wont open and it still wont open

Hi All, my adobe stopped opening. it does nothing when i try and open it. if i press ctr + alt +delete it shows the process running multiple times. if i kill them all or restart it adobe still doesnt run. i have tried re-installing it and everything.
