Opening Video/Photos in Mail

I notice that when sent via yahoo e-mail I cannot open some pics or videos(WMV). While this problem might be the source should I be able to open everything. On my G5 I have Perian, etc installed to open certain formats . How about the iPhone?

If the video attachments are Windows Media Video files (WMV files that include a .wmv file extension), WMV is a closed/proprietary Microsoft video format. Microsoft stopped providing and supporting a Windows Media Player version for the Mac and OS X many years ago. There is a 3rd party player that provides for this on a Mac and there is a 3rd party app that provides for this on the iPhone.

I took a video with my i pod and sent it to my PC and My sons PC,we both can open and see the video,BUT I can open it on my i pod?

What model of Mac?
What video software are you using?
What type/kind of video are you trynig to view?

How can i send multiple videos and photos, via mail, at the same time?

you allowed to send only one video or 10(+) photos via mail.
but can you send both at the same time? so 10(+) photos and a video (or more than one) in one mail?
because if my mom has birthday pictures or something like that. She likes to be able to send it directly from her iphone to every person she knows in just one mail.

Those restrictions are generally part of the email provider, not just the phone. Attachments are restricted due to size, bandwith use, etc. Trying to send that much information in an email attachment is even restricted on a computer. Sharing via photo sites is generally a better option for large amounts of pictures and large video files.

When I want to attach a photo to my e-mail I can no longer find my iPhoto library using open - media - photos.

So starting recently (last couple of months) when I want to attach a photo to my e-mail I can no longer find my iPhoto library using open - media - photos. There's nothing there, it's just completely blank, when in the past my whole iPhoto library would show up with thumbnails and I could just choose the pic to attach. Now I have to drag the photos I want from iPhoto onto the desktop and then I can find them there to attach to my e-mail. How can I get my iPhoto library to show back up the simple way when I want to attach photos? I've been having this problem attaching photos in hotmail or yahoo.

It should be an attachment. Your Mac just displays a preview of certain attachments (such as .pdfs) in the body of the message. A PC, for example, will see it as an attached file rather than a preview.
You can save the attachment on your Mac by Control-clicking on it and selecting Save Attachment.

I cannot open any photo in Photoshop CC 2014 after upgrade the application and drivers of video-card.

Since I have made an upgrade of Photoshop CC 2014 I got a lot of problems.
At first, I could not open any pictures in Photoshop. It works only if I disable "Use Graphic processor". I installed a new driver for my video-card, but it did not help. I use AMD FirePro V4800 for 10-bit colour.
I had to return the system to the restore point (before the upgrade), then it worked somehow, but not stable. ACR from time to time had a blue screen with a white cross.
Now I tried to install drivers for my video-card again, but it resulted in the same issue: Photoshop cannot open any photo. (Other converters and editors and also a new Lightroom work well).
I use Win7x64, i7 2600, 16 Gb RAM, two SSD's, AMD FirePro V4800. I have never had any problems before the upgrade. And I do not want to reinstall Photoshop because I would have to reinstall a lot of plug-ins, I have already lost a whole day.

Interestingly, when I spoke with Apple, I tried it in a new user account and the problem went away. Apple said to speak to Adobe which I have done and after deleting settings/prefs again the problem remained. Adobe say as it's fine in a new account then it's an Apple issue not Adobe.
I did find a workaround for now though, when using file - open, set it to list view instead of column view - this fixed my problem but sadly I'm used to working in column view so it's not ideal!
I also got the same error message when trying to replace a set of brushes yesterday too. I need to go back to Apple now but just need to schedule some time to sit and troubleshoot!

To ensure my old iPhon4 was backed up i...
1. Deleted the iPhone4 backup from iTunes prefs(devices)
2. I then sycnched the iPhone4 to get a new backup of the old Phone.
I then installed my new iPhone5 from the fresh backup of the old iPhone4
This way i got my new iPhone5 exactly as my old iPhone4
Screens all looked the same, EVERYTHING the same.
Some minor adjustments were needed afterwards.

Basically I cannot upload videos sent from a Sprint PCS mobile to my email account because Windows technology is required. I am aware of the virtual box and bootcamp but I would much prefer a Mac only solution...Perhaps someone has written a script or knows a workaround?
Any help appreciated even if that means redirecting me to another section of this forum, but in this case, which one exactly?

I didn't misread your post. If that's not the problem, you could increase the chances that someone could help you by supplying details of the required "Windows technology".

Two weeks ago I posted this, but no one replied telling me how to correct the problem.
I think Firefox engineers need to improve Firefox between now and the next up-date to make it adequate to handle all major websites. There aren't many websites used by as many people as yahoo. So why have Firefox engineers ignored this deficiency in Firefox?

Mountain Lion won't allow me to save photos from Mail directly to iPhoto (as you could in all other recent OSX). Tried opening iPhoto and then click/drag each photo onto iPhoto icon on dock (as Help instructed) but the photo will not drag. Suggestions?

I have real a lot of posts that say to click Command+Option while opening iPhoto and this will open the Photo Library Repair window, but... this is not happening.
Be sure you're holding the correct keys and that you're holding them long enough. Depress them before clicking on iPhoto and don't let go until the menu shows up.
If you don't want to lose those photos, make a back up now. Hopefully it's not too late.
