Openscript - adf   unable to identify object value

Hi Everyone,
Please find the screenshot in the below shared link, where the adf inputtext object value is not identified while doing object test.
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B0qqXKChgAG1VkRmR1Y0eEYyQlE/edit?usp=sharing
Kindly suggest on this whether it is a bug .
Regards,
Mohan.

Can we also get a screenshot of all the read-only attributes of that object?

We are unable to identify objects inside the virtual machine. We want to perform some tasks inside the virtual machine. The virtual machine object is getting identified as image. So when we perform tasks like creating a folder or opening any application
inside that virtual machine, all actions are recorded as image.Need help on this ASAP.
    Thanks

Based on your issue, could you please tell me what operation you do and then get the error message?
Whether you record and run this coded UI test and then get the error message?
If possible, please tell me more detailed message about this issue.
Generally, I know that if you want to identify objects for coded UI test, I know that the
recorder needs to be present in the machine on which you are trying to record actions.

  • QTP unable to identify objects in a flex application

    Hi,
I am having an application that runs on flex 3.6 SDK. I am trying to automate the same using QTP 10.0, but, I am unable to identify the objects. I have installed the Flex 4.5 add-in, but still unable to recognize objects.
Upon browsing some forums, i found that I need to compile the files "automation.swc, automation_agent.swc, automation_dmv.swc, qtp.swc, automation_flashflexkit.swc" by including them in <include-libraries> ...</include-libraries>  tags in "flex-config.xml" file present under "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder 3 Plug-in\sdks\3.6.0\frameworks". We did that, but still, not able to identify objects.
It would be of great help to me if any some one could tell if I am missing out anything ?

    hello,
not only need the objects be enclosed by their parent frame, but they also need to be "on top of it" ... meaning if you imagine your report layout as a set of layers that you look at from the side, your "layout surface" would be the bottom most layer and then all objects would be layered on top of each other. in this view, only objects that are in layers above a particular frame can become its children. after that the relationship is determined whether or not an object is inside a frame or not.
you might want to check your object navigator to see whether or not the particular objects are actually in the right place in the hierarchy.
    thanks,
    ph.

    Hi Friends,
I got the solution. It was the error because of not having a the below statement.
    limitingCommand.setPageSize(1);
As i havent used that statement, it was trying to get 1000 records, and i dont know exactly what makes this to get that error. Anyhow., As i want to use for updation, i cn live with one record.
    Thanks,

  • PerformancePoint in SharePoint 2010 - Unable to get filter values from... Error 10828

I currently am using PPT to expose data from a Microsoft Analysis Server cube. The cube is wide open and requires no permissions to access.
The behavior of my filters is odd as sometimes they work perfectly fine, and other times I receive the following error upon report run:
    Unable to get filter values.

I have looked at the ULS logs and found the following:

This is odd to me, as I can trick the report to run by changing the date filters to another day, then back to the original days that error'ed out and everything is fine. Some guidance would be appreciated.

    Hi,
Do you mean that you have Office 2007 and Office 2010 both installed in you computer?
Based on my test, I copy a Access 2010 database into a computer only installed Offic 2007, then using Excel 2007 to import Access database data, no error occurred.
So double click the Access database to see whether the databased is opened with Access 2007 or Access 2010. If it is opened with Access 2010, then try to save it as Access 2007 to
    check the issue.

  • Unable to determine the value of component  ''! Workflow error, please help

    Hi All:
I am getting the error "Unable to determine the value of component  ''" and workflows are not getting processed. I found OSS notes 879100 related to this issue but I am new to workflow and not sure where to start from! Here is the notes description:
The workflow WS20500025 ('Service Connection Order Processing') encounters an error directly after being started. The following error messages are displayed in the workflow log:
SWP102: Error at start of an IF branch
WL821: Work item 000000100012: Object FLOWITEM method EXECUTE cannot be executed
    SWF_RUN535: Error '9' when calling service 'SO_OBJECT_SEND'
SWF_RUN534: Problems occurred when generating a mail
WL863: Notification of completion cannot be generated
SWF_EXP_001073: Unable to determine the value of component 'QUOTATION'
SWF_EXP_001072: Error in the evaluation of expression '<???>' for item 1
SWF_RLS_001101: Operator 'GT': The value of the left operand cannot be determined
SWP085: Error when starting work item 000000100012
SWP010: Error when evaluating the IF condition for node 0000000075
    Other terms
Service connection processing, service connection workflow
    Reason and Prerequisites
This is due to a program error.
The checks in the workflow Basis have been made stricter. A query of the type 'Quotation.number > 0' now causes an error if the container element 'Quotation' is not set. This is always the case if the workflow is is running without quotation prcessing, for instance.
    Solution
The error is corrected in the next Support Package.
If you want to implement the corrections manually in your system, change the condition in step 000075 of workflow WS20500025 as follows:
        &IS-U: Kundenangebot& EX
    and &IS-U: Kundenangebot.Verkaufsbeleg& > 0
    Save and activate the workflow.
I am new to workflow and not sure where to start from! Could someone please help me with this? Rewards assured.
    Thanks.

    Mohan,
Have you tried using UTL_SMTP? It uses UTL_TCP and encapsulates a lot of the stuff you're doing manually, so might be easier. Let me know if you need an example.

  • Unable to retrieve Object.Error in File: Unknown Database Connector Error

    Hi,
I have deployed two report on BO XI server. Both the reports are designed in Crystal Report designer XI.
I got all database credentilas, saved in CMC by my administrator so that these reports should not prompt me for any database login parameters when I am trying to run them from BOXI test server.
When I am running one of my report, the report is working fine. But this is not the case with other report.
This second report is working well with some inputs.
Case 1 - It is having to input date parameter(Date1 and Date2), when I am entering one input date parameter (Date1) and other (Date2) is set to NULL, it is displaying correct result. But when I am giving any date for Date2 it is throwing me an error -
"Error in File Manager_Agent_Report.rpt: Unknown Database Connector Error
    Unable to retrieve Object.
Error in File Manager_Agent_Report.rpt: Unknown Database Connector Error "
Case 2 - Similiarly it is having an other input field which I am using in filetering the records in Report.
If I am setting it to NULL or If I am not giving this field, while entering the input. I am getting an output.
But incase I am giving this particular field then again it is promptig me the  above mentioned error.
The report are working fine if I am executing them from crystal report designer.
Please help me to find a solution for the same.
    Thanks
    Deepak

Deepak, firstly are you trying to connect to one database or two in these reports? I would check the ODBC connections both in server and client machine (testing server or whatever you testing it on). Make sure both connection settings are exactly the same.
Secondly I will check the parameters values under Objects under the CMC and see if there is anything changed there.
Report back if you have checked both and it still giving errors

  • Unable to cast object of type OracleXmlType to type XmlDocument

    Hello All:
I have an Oracle Procedure that is taking an XML Document as an output parameter.

    oCommand.Parameters["errorrecord"].Direction = System.Data.ParameterDirection.Output;
When I try to cast this as an XmlDocument so I can set it to my ErrorRecord variable (defined as XmlDocument) and pass it back out of the Web-Service
    ErrorRecord = (XmlDocument)oCommand.Parameters["p_errorrecord"].Value;
I get the following error: "Unable to cast object of type 'Oracle.DataAccess.Types.OracleXmlType' to type 'System.Xml.XmlDocument'"
How do I cast / convert the Oracle XMLType back to a .Net XMLDocument to pass out of the function?
    Thanks

No, I have not tried that yet, but I admit I don't fully understand the syntax in the document posted.
    oCommand.Parameters.Add("p_errorrecord", OracleDbType.XmlType).Value = System.DBNull.Value;
ErrorRecord = GoCommand.Parameters["errorrecord"].Value; (this is returned as XmlType)
I don't quite understand the syntax in the posted URL:
    Declaration

  • UNABLE TO CAST OBJECT OF TYPE 'PROFILECOMMON' TO TYPE 'PROFILECOMMON'

I have four web application configured on the IIS with .Net Framework 2.0
All the applications are working fine except one.
If the system / server, restarted. The Application throws an error message "UNABLE TO CAST OBJECT OF TYPE 'PROFILECOMMON' TO TYPE 'PROFILECOMMON'"
When I searched for the issue, they have mentioned that the temporary
Profile class clashes with your ProfileCommon class.
By setting <profile enabled="false"> you are telling it to NOT generate the dynamic, temporary Profile
class and use your own instead.
On every restart, I need to change the attribute value to make it work.
Can you please let me know, why it crashed on server restart? How it can be resolved ?
    Root cause???
    Please help on this.

Background: We are using TDMS HCM PA PD Expert package to transfer all of the HCM data
We are using TDMS 4.0 SP 5. We are trying to do the Configuraition in Identify Objects for Transfer and Start Data Selection.. In this phase, we are encountering the issue of 'choose to confirm to trigger data selection'.  The only option in this activit is'confirm batch' and 'confirm online'. Even if we press the button, we are still encountering issues. What selections then or values can we use?Thank you. Kindly see screen shot
    Regards,
    Meinard

    Hello Meinard,
    There could be two issues:
First check if you have assigned the target ranges for the dialog user which you are using to select data from sender system. You need to maintain target ranges in activity 'Define target ranges for users' which you can find under activity "Configuration and Utilities in Control system".
Secondly, there could be authorizaton issues for the sender system user. Check for any authorization issue in SU53 in sender system for the user which you used to logon to sender system.
    Thanks

The error in the original post was that the referenced object was a Desktop Intelligence document, and not a Crystal Report. I would check the SI_KIND value for the object that you're retrieving - if it's a different kind, but originates from a Crystal Report SI_KIND, then you can create a Report object via:report = new Report(infoObject.GetPluginInterface("Report"));Sincerely,Ted Ueda
