Opera arias and recitatives played out of order

Operas are played out of order.  Also broken up and saved in itunes as albums.  Some albums are 1 piece, others are as many as 7-8 pieces.  Any ideas?

Have you checked your iPod's Settings to make sure the Shuffle setting is set to Off.

  • Songs Play Out of Order

When I try to play music through iTunes, the songs play out of order. It jumps around to random songs instead of playing a full album or artist in the order the songs appear on the screen. I do not have "shuffle" turned on. I don't know if this has anything to do with the little checkboxes next to the song name, but some are checked and others aren't, and I can't figure out how to control that either. Some tips would be much appreciated. Thanks.

So I'm going to have to go into my playlists and enter in track numbers? WEAK! I've made playlists of audio recordings, etc., that were not on CD, so they have no track numbers, then just plugged in some graphics as "album art."
All because apple didn't forsee that some people would have made their own playlists and given it an "album art" graphic? That's a rather obvious thing, isn't it?

  • One track played out of order

I've noticed this problem since one of the last updates: I have my settings on shuffle by album and the albums normally play from 1 to the end. However, certain albums skip a track in the middle and play it last. ex. 1-4, 6-10, 5 (My Morning Jacket, Z) It doesn't do this with every album, but quite a few. I've messed with the settings and album info, but can't find anything that would explain why it does this. And it does it on both my mac and PC...
    I'd appreciate any suggestions!
mac book and dell   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

Alright- figured it out.  Each out of order track had an "album artist" filled in (a field under artist when you click "Get info) and the others just just had "artist" filled in.  By filling in an "album artist" on all the tracks in addition to the already filled in "artist" field, I got them to arrange themselves properly in the album order.  I assume blanking out the "album artist" field on the tracks that had it also might have worked.  I think the key is making sure all the meta-data is exactly the same.
Just posting this for the sake of anyone googling for answers to the same issue.

  • Burn playlist and songs mix out of order

I burn my playlist and when it is finished the songs shuffle out of order on the burned CD. I have removed the songs and made a new playlist, then burned a new copy and this did not work.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you create your play order manually then select the playlist, right click it (or use ctrl+click) & select "Copy to play order".
I think when you burn that playlist it should obey that order, it has been so long since I made a mix CD that I'm not certain, good luck.

  • Rework order Operation Confirmation and quantity posting to main order oper

    Hi Friends,
I have confirmed first operation of production order by CO11N. While confirming the operation, i entered 5 qty. as Rework Quantity. Due to trigger point function, Rework order gtets generated. After completion of Rework , i confirmed rework Order. Now i want to add this Rework Quantity in the second operation of main order . So i can be able to make confirmation of whole quantity of second operation. How to do this?
Normally system takes the first operation yield quantity as next operation quantity for confirmation.
    Waiting for Reply!
    Thanks!

    Dear,
If a separate rework order is created using the trigger point, the system assumes that both the rework and all subsequent operations are processed via this rework order. As if first operation confirmed as 10  5 as rework quantity.
It means that you can second operation you can confirm as 5 only. So you need to add all operation in reference operation set so confirm all operation quantity here and remaining quantity in main order. So your confirmation yield will remains same.
Or it is only possible to return the successfully reworked quantity to the original order if the quantity check which is executed against the confirmed yield of the predecessor is deactivated using Customizing of the confirmation OPK4. In this case, only the confirmed yield is indeed proposed without the confirmed rework quantity. However, with the quantity check being deactivated it is allowed to overwrite the default value with a larger quantity.
Note that you cannot enter a goods receipt for the rework order since it is defined without header material. Instead, you can enter goods receipts for the original order manually.

  • Audiobook playing out of order

I have audiobooks purchased from the iTunes store and many that I have transferred from CDs borrowed from the library. Books I have transferred are suddenly not playing back in order (some of these books I have had for several years), the tracks seem to be playing in "shuffle". I have saved each book as a playlist then in Get Info/Options have selected audiobook, part of compilation, remember position, skip when shuffling and gapless album. This has worked really well until recently though I am not sure if it coincides with the iTunes update. I have 32GB iTouch (original). Please help!

Ok. I spoke with an apple representative today because I was having the same problem.
Apparently if you have used genius or smart playlist this can throw your audiobook order off. All you need to do is
#1 - Place your audiobook in a playlist
#2 - Make sure the tracks are in order in iTunes
#3 - Right click on the 'playlist' file. Press 'Copy to Play Order'.
    #4 - Sync your i-Pod
If you still have problems you might need to create a new playlist and drag the audiobook
tracks into it and then repeat the above steps.
    Hope this helps.

  • Playlists playing out of order

I have a 4g 64g ipod touch.  I recently noticed that whenever I make a playlist in my computer and drag it into the ipod, the songs do not play in order.  I am positive that the shuffle isn't being used.  For example, if I start the playlist on song one then press the forward arrow to jump to the next song, it might jump to track number 16 or 47...but never track two as it should.  This also happens when I let the song play through and the ipod moves on to the next track itself.  The next track it plays is never the next in line as it should be.  I've tried to find a setting on the ipod and computer that could be causing this but have had no luck.  HELP! Thanks!

    No, I don't.

That's your opinion and you are entitled to it.
However, another way of looking at this is that the charge is high enough to discourage customers from using the phone-an-employee option and instead read the instructions that Apple have spent time and money writing, or use the forum. It's cheaper than having an employee on the end of a phone providing basic user advice. The additional cost of the phone service would be reflected in a higher purchase price for an iPod.
Consider yourself lucky that you have the choice of paying for that advice, isn't it only available to those of you in the USA?

  • BLOG "previous" and "next" buttons out of order?

I have posted several blogs (some have future dates for upcoming events- I don't know if that messes thing up?)
I am having trouble figuring out why the "next" and "previous" buttons are not going in order by posted date (past, present.. future WHATEVER)
These are the steps I am taking:
    1) start at the home page
    2) select blog page (from the top)
    3) select any blog "read more"
    4) attempt to view "next" or even previous" blog
    5) PROBLEM - I am shot over to a random blog page
How do I command the "next" and "previous" buttons to go in some kind of logical order?

I have a problem where my next and previous buttons are not working sequentially. They sometimes jump to an entry way down teh archive or just jump back to the archive list
republish, changing options etc is not making any difference

  • Slides play out of order on Apple TV

My sides are in a fixed order in my windows file. When they play on Apple TV through Home share, they are in some random order. Several others have had this problem. Is there a solution?

Good to know that someone else is having this issue.  After several weeks of trying to use this feature I have given up.  There doesn't seem to be any correlation between what's on my Photostream on iOS devices (I have three and they all show identical Photostream content) and my new Apple TV which just randomizes the content.
I have discovered one interesting thing.  Although the photos that show up in my automatic Photostream on Apple TV continue to be randomized, shared Photostreams that I have created seem to behave as they should.  What shows up on my iOS devices matches what is on Apple TV and in the correct order.

  • Properly numbered tracks still play out of order

    Here's a strange one:
iTunes has stopped playing songs on albums in their proper order. This, despite the fact that I did a "Get Info" on the tracks and determined that they all have the proper "X of Y" numbering sequence, and that the album name is the same from one track to the next (no extra spaces, typos, etc.).
And what's really weird is that the tracks are listed in their proper order when I select the "Album" view in iTunes.
Nevertheless, when I play the album, they skip around, as though there was some mysterious "shuffle songs within album" setting. (Is there?)

That could be it. I'm away for the weekend and not near the computer on which I keep my iTunes library. I'll check on Monday, and if that's it, I'll be sure to mark your answer as "solved."
    Thanks for the pointer!

  • Albums playing out of order?

    I'm using iTunes 12.1.2.27 on OS X 10.10.2.
Something very funny is happening. In album view, whenever I double-click on an album, it will play the tracks in a random order. If I double-click directly on the first song in the album, it will play that, but the following tracks are in a random order.
The only way I've found to play an album in the correct order is to either use the search and double-click on the album, or to click the play icon in album view.
What's up with this behavior? Why do albums not *always* play in order? These albums are properly tagged, with each track having the right track number.

    Play a song.
Tap the artwork (center of screen while playing)
In menu that appears for Repeat, Progress, Shuffle, Genius....is shuffle on (blue means on, white is off).

  • JSF Navigation and page access out-of-order issue

I've been searching the web and the forums for an answer to what I thought would be at least a well-documented issue with JSF, but have been coming up empty. (which to me might mean its not an issue and just a lack of understanding on my part)
Lets say I have two pages, one (license.jsf) that has a simple form that presents the user with a license agreement along with two commandButtons with actions "accept" and "decline".
The other page is a landing page, lets call it "results.jsf" which the user gets navigated to should they choose to accept the license agreement.
The problem I have is whats to stop a user from just typing in results.jsf. Granted my controller can store a value somewhere as to whether they have accepted the terms of the license and not display the content on the results.jsf page, but what I'd really like to do is intercept that initial request to results.jsf and redirect them to the license.jsf page.
I can fathom a bunch of different "hacks" to make this work, but I'm really hoping that somebody knows of some more elegant solution for addressing this whether its in JSF directly or using some support framework like a SEAM or Spring(?) (I'm vaguely familiar with SEAM and I'm figuring since its got a workflow on the back end, its kinda hard to drop into the middle of a process flow, so maybe it addresses that some how). Or I'll happily take any suggested URL's to other threads/websites that offer advice on this subject.
    Thanks.

Yes, I've tried that. It really is puzzling. I am also fighting the battle of the counters (trying to get them to stay centered, and (as mentioned in a separate post) trying to figure out why I have a duplicate entry in my RSS feed.
I wonder if that problem is connected to this one?

  • I have imported my photos and some are out of order.  I have edited and want to publish them but I would like them back in chronological order.  How do I do this?

Also,  If I wan to edit photos on my iPad, how do i turn on this feature?

You can change the sort order in the library module. And if you click on the image (not the gray border around the image) you can move images around if necessary.
As far as editing on your iPad is concerned, that involves Lightroom Mobile, and it requires that you have a creative cloud subscription.

  • Aperture-sorted event and album images out of order

I am syncing events and albums from Aperture to my iPad through iTunes. In iOS iPhoto the images within these events and albums have a seemingly random sort order, rendering the application useless to me. The sort order is fine in the iOS Photos application, so I am thinking it is a problem with iOS iPhoto. Anyone have a fix for this? I thought it would surely be fixed in the new update, but it was not. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iOS iPhoto, have unsynced and resynced albums, etcetera.
I know this pertains to old threads, but couldn't find one that was coherent. Hopefully this one is.

I have no fix to offer as I am affected by it too. I posted one of the original threads on this and have used the Apple report a problem system to report it too. I am amazed this issue wasn't addressed in the update. It makes iPhoto on the iPad unusable for me.
I've just submitted repeat feedback on the problem to http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto_ios.html
