I have built several reports like yours using FILTER function instead of CASE IF.
example: I wanted to filter number of customers which are contact telephone number populated
FILTER("Account Metrics"."# of Accounts" USING ("- Primary Contact"."Primary Contact Work Phone #" IS NULL)).
So in your case you have to filter the number of opportunities by date range you need.

Replicating Datasource in BI7 when there is data in PSA
Hi all,
We are working on CRM opportunities item data with 0CRM_OPPT_I datasource. There is a change is the mapping in BWA1 and we are moving the datasource to quality. Now as of BI7 if we replicate the datasource in quality the existing datasource in BI will become inactive and we need to activate the datasource once again. If the datasource contain PSA data in quality, how do we activate the datasource without impacting the existing data. Is there any different approach in BI7 with which we have to handle the replication of datasource and activation of datasource while moving across quality and production systems.

Archive a pdf document in a folder in Business Workplace
Good Morning!
I've a question about archiving a pdf document in a folder in the business workplace.
I want to the it with the fm SO_OBJECT_INSERT.
But here is a problem. I upload the pdf with gui_upload into the table lt_pdfbin.
This table has the type solix_tab.
But in the fm the table content needs a table of the type soli.
What can i do?Are there other possibilities to archive the document in an folder?

Help with importing huge photo collection
Hello,
my brther switched to Mac and want to use iPhoto. His pohoto collection is about 40GB and many, many folders and subfolders. The structure of the folders and subfolders are like this example:
-X-mas ->2009
->2010
->2011
Moto-trip ->Germany 2008 -> My photos
-> Toms photos
-> Mikes photos
->Switzerland 2009 -> My photos
-> Brothers photos
etc...
Is there some possibility (maybe some script or 3rd app) of how to import all this pictures and for example automaticaly create Albums with subfolders in iPhoto?
Importing each subfolder would take days...
Any idea?
P.S.: He uses Mountain Lion and the latest iPhoto.The structure you outline here is one for Files and not Photos. Using that structure in iPhoto is a bit pointless as it remains as limited in iPhoto as it is in the Finder.
iPhoto offers much more varied organisational opportunities, leveraging data that the file browser doesn't even know about - such as Exif and IPTC.
For Instance: anything date-based is done automatically based on the date and time of the Exif metadata in the Photos. So, Events are made this way, automatically. You can search by date using Smart Albums or the Calendar search in the search box: Therefore can easily find all the photos from any specific day, month, year, or in any time range using one of these tools.
If, in the example above, Tom and Mike have different cameras, then again you can sort these from each others with a simple Smart Album.
Next: Albums hold Photos. There is no such thing as a subfolder in Albums. You can have Folders. They can contain Albums nested Folders, which can also contain Albums.
As for importing folder tree: there's some stuff here that might help

I had enhanced the structure "crmt_bw_oppt_h"
and also written a BADI to populate Opportunity header status.
But when I run extract checker RSA3 for CRM data,
I get wrong number of records.
I am having 95 records for Opportunities header data.
Data Records / Call = "100"
Display Extr. Calls = "10"
Above settings, I am retrieving only 61 records.

For the above settings in RSA3,
I am able to retrieve 95 records correctly.</b>
The problem is that in RSA1 transaction of BW 3.50 server also,
61 records are being loaded from CRM server.

Notes on BADI Usage

The instance generated through the factory method should be declared

OSO opportunities with future date not showing up
When you search organization and click on opportunites you can all the opportunities loaded with close date of 30jun2011 (fiscal year end) not the onles after this date.
How and where do I need to look for thsi set up update to display opportunites for next fiscal year.I also don't know why these forums don't have an "iTunes store" section.

It is the same regardless of what operating system you run your client on.
The actual store is the same though iTunes is slightly different, such as some of the options and key presses.
If someone were having problems, the first question I would ask is what computer and OS is being used.

Opportunities Report - Last Activity Date ?
Currently we use the Opportunities Report to generate data on the pipeline for each of our sales people. We record each sales touch to a lead by recording an activity from the open opportunity. We review our open pipelines and also the marketing touches that each rep performs within the opportunity. We track open pipeline total activities weekly.
When we review the summary data presented by the Opportunities Report we are searching for a way to pull the last closed activity date for that opportunity.
Is anyone aware of a report that is available to service this need and or....does someone have a query to perform this need.

The activities table (OCLG) contains a field OPRID which you can use to link the activities to the opportunity. You can the use a MAX function to pull the activity with the last date for the opportunity? -

Accounts without opportunities for a given date range
Greetings report gurus,
I am trying to develop a report that shows distinct account names that do not have any opportunities for a given period of interest. For example, I have one report that queries opportunities that closed during a given period of interest for a specific class of accounts. I would also like to be able to report on accounts associated with that specific class that did not have any opportunities on the board for a given time frame.

You'd need to look at negative reporting for this, you can find it in the Knowledge Base. You need to write 1 report with the Accounts within your range minus Accounts with optys within your range.

I have the requirement that by doubleclick on the table line the selected opportunity shall open in tx crmd_order.

CRM Interactive reports not loading any data on WEB UI
CRM BI client is setup properly by following CRM IR config guide C41.
/CRMBW/CONFIG_WIZARD doesn't show any major errors. I am able to create
the custom interactive reports but when these reports are executed no
data shows up in the report.For example ,we are building interactive
reports under opportunities area for a user, who has opportunities in
the system.
Our CRM Sytem is on CRM7.0 EHP1 SPS3.

if still relevant (sorry for the late reply): check if the user is assigned to a business partner (employee), which is assignet to a correct position in the CRM Org model, and that this business partner is the employee responsible of the sales documents you want him to see in the reports.
Alternatively, the user's business partner can be a manager of such an employee.
