Optimized Roaming, CHDM, RSSI Low Check tuning makes no effect on roaming !!!

Hi Experts,
I'm facing sticky issue. Such as, I have 4 APs sit inline A > B > C > D. Each spaces 13 meters apart. We're running WLC8.0.110 and 500 of AP1700. We put close AP for doing wifi location service with MSE/CMX.
Now, location is not being updated in timely manner. I noticed, If client gets roamed, Location info will coming along with that roaming. So that's why I'm focusing on sticky issue. We found that traditional client serving internet gets sticky when then walking along and serving their internet. RSSI gets too low before being roamed. SLA was affected.
I have tried to tune for Optimized Roaming, CHDM, RSSI Low Check tuning for this mall (Department store).

My actions:
- I designed to disable RSSI Low Check. Because I will using Optimised Roaming.
- 802.11a/802.11b Client Roaming > RF parameters > I tried to let HIGHER Minimum RSSI (default = -85dbm). I putted around -72 and hope client easier to associate to a new AP and be roamed.
- I also let HIGHER Scan Threshold (default = -72dbm). I putted around -68, hope WLC put more probe to client when RSSI lower than -68. This may help faster roaming occur.
- I enabled Optimized Roaming. By setting LOWEST Optimized Roaming Interval = 5 sec. Hope WLC gives disassociation frame to client whenever client reach RSSI = Coverage Threshold > Data RSSI (I set to = -68)
AP1700 doesn't support RX SOP.
However, all above does make no affect on roaming improvement at all. Client still DOESN'T get roamed when they reach Data RSSI(-68) but still be roamed at -72 as DEFAULT WLC SETTING.
Does Optimized Roaming, CHDM, RSSI Low Check truly control client roaming? Or anything I did wrong?
Any experiences are welcome. Could any share me effective setup? Thank you in advance.

Hi, thank you for the helpful guidance. I have a basic question, if the device roam from one AP to another AP with the same SSID. Is there a need of re-authentication given a) the network uses EAP based authentication; b) the network uses MAC address authentication. If there is no need of EAP re-authentication, how the 802.11 keys are moved to the new AP. Thank you very much if you could help me clarify my thought.

Have a problem with XY graphing, I have 5 xy samples that define an envlope (one plot), samples need to be checked to make sure they are within the selected envlope.
Any Ideas ?

Can you split the 4 xy point for your envelope int two envelopes:
Upper Limit 0,0 3,6 9,9
Lower Limit 3,0 9,9 (or maybe 0,0 3,0 9,9 if you need to start at x=0)
Then in your limit check connect both upper and lower envelopes.
Have a look at the attached vi, it's not very tidy and there may be a problem with the number of samples in the various arrays, it may give you some ideas to try.

Who is the carrier the iPhone is carrier locked with?
If the carrier has a blacklist for lost/stolen cell phones, it would be the carrier you need to contact.

The whole configure over WAN thing is confusing me I don't want anyone to be able to access my airport extreme over the WAN. How can I check to make sure that is the way I have it setup?

I just bought a new airport extreme and I want to make sure that is NOT set up for "configure over WAN". How do I check to make sure that is how I have it set up? I only want access to the base via WPA2 password

Open AirPort Utility, select the AirPort Extreme, and click Manual Setup
Click the Base Station tab located just below the row of icons
Remove any check mark that might be in the box next to Allow Setup over WAN
Click Update to save your settings and the AirPort Extreme will restart in 25-30 seconds
For what it is worth, if you leave the box checked, any computer that tries to access the settings on the Airport Extreme will be asked for the device password....not the wireless network password.

Subcontracting availibility check on make to order stock

Dear All,
I have a material let's say 'X' which with a BOM/routing which includes a subcontracting step of material "Y" which is a also a make to stock item. When I create a sales order for material X and run a Plannings run I first produce material Y. Because it's a make to order item the stock it will be customer specific stock. The next step is to send material Y away to the subcontrator, in order to complete material X. However when a create a subcontracting PO and wants to delivery it via transaction ME2O I get the error message that there is no stock available. The reason for this is that teh availibilty check doesn't check the Make to order stock quantities.
I have treid several option but i am Not able to let sap to check the make to order stock when creating a subcontracting delivery. What I am missing or is this not supported by standard SAP?

Thanks for your replies but it doesn't solve my problem because when creating a delivery SAP still uses the normal availability check (B) and not the client specific availability check (BE).
Just for the clarification the underlying material is a client specific item (with special stock indicator E) that needs to be send to the subcontractor. However the administrative stock of this material is stored as client specific and won't be picked up when we make a subcontracting delivery because the standard process use availability check B instead of BE.
Like I mentioned maybe it is not foreseen in the standard functionality.

Hold the power key on the keyboard down for 5 secs to power off, tap the power button once to start. It should connect automatically.

Keylight what? All I see is some effect similar to Leave Color, a.k.a the Pleasantville effect that made the rounds 10 years ago. It may require additional masking and otehr effects, but definitely not something that is specifically related to Keylight...

Looks similar to a smoke effect. But you can use a paint brush and paint your colored lines then use the Liquify tool on multiple layers (Filter / Liquify).

Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)

For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Theoretically, yes.
Heat, and heat cycling certainly do take a toll on even solid state components. I have several "very old" Macintosh computers, and the logic boards exhibit the effects.
The fan too, running at higher speeds, does eventually cause wear. More than anything, the higher airflow leads to a higher propensity for dust accumulation on the fan, and the heat exchangers.
In practical terms though, maybe not so much. If you plan on having your computer exhibit a reasonable useful life before you retire it or upgrade, you may never experience any of the detrimental effects. I rarely use a computer longer than 3 years, before I sell, give it away, or just stop using it.
Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Your computer is well designed to give you a long life, even in the manner in which you describe. Take care of it, but use it for what you bought it for. Nothing you mention is in any way, abuse.

There are many ways.
One of them would be:
export the specific point were it starts to Quicktime Conversion > Still Image >OPPTIONS: Photoshop.
Open this still in Photoshop. Cutout the man by using the magic lasso tool.
So then 2 layers. Background and Foregrond (The man).
Import this 2 layered PSD in FCP. Cut it right after the point you exported. On V1 the Background, On V2 the Man. Bring the background to Black and white. Set Keyframes for the SCALE on V2, in order to 'zoom in' on the person a little bit.
And ad a title effect.
Well, this is the short version. Try to play with it yourself. You can also do all the compositing in Motion, or After Effects.
