That means this exists... Tomorrow the database will be undegoing backup and so will shutdown and startup..
So probably on monday I can check if i can login.. becuase I tried to view the same details using TOAD and i faced no errors as such...
So lets wait till monday... if no other solution..
Thanks

    END;why are you executing it like that , it should be
    EXEC TMP_IMPORT_ITEMS_PKG.LOAD_INTERFACE_TABLE('x1', '', null);or as Prabhakar said in PL/SQL
    BEGIN

    Hi,
       if it was executing fine earlier then check the below
    1. user permissions level at the database..whether it has access to the required SP or not..
    2. Check if there was any change in the SP..which has not been communicated...

    select * from QS_SPECIFICHHNO
    WHERE ( ( (HHNO) = &P2_HHNO ) )
    No problem:  I receive exactyl one row in my result set which is what I expect.
    I think (definitely correct me if I am wrong)  Apex is complaining about the following line of code:
    p:=p||'F|#OWNER#:QS_SPECIFICHHNO:P2_HHNO:HHNO';
    It is complaining about a missing expession line 1 ccolumn 9  -   |#OWNER#:
    This is an Automatic Fetch query.  P2_HHNO is a simple text field where the user enters a primary key value (Household Number)
    The household number is used in the where clause of the QS_SPECIFICHHNO view.
    Here is the view:

    'F|#OWNER#:QS_SPECIFICHHNO:P2_HHNO:HHNO'
    Is perfectly valid, it is an APEX DML string
    F = Fetch
    #OWNER# = the schema from the workspace
    QS_SPECIFICHHNO = the table/view
    P2_HHNO = The APEX item to match with the key
    HHNO = The key in the table/view
    The p_runtime_where_clause appears to be invalid;
    a) The "WHERE" keyword is not necessary, also it should be '&P2_HHNO.' not '&P2_HHNO'
    b) The record should have already matched using the DML string
    Try deleting the runtime_where_clause, it should then work.

    Hi All,
    I am trying to execute a simple select statement in PL/SQL developer. After the query gets executed i am getting a error
    ORA-01041 internal error. hostdef extension doesn`t exist.
    But when i perform the same query in sqlplus, i do not receive this kinda error.
    Does any 1 have a idea on this error?

  • ORA-01722 when opening a package in SQL Developer 1.2 with oracle 9iR1

    Hi,
    I use SQL Developer with Oracle Database 9i release 1.
    When I open a package in SQL Developer 1.2 (or 1.5) for editing, I receive the error ORA-01722. The package successfully opens but this message, which pops everytime, is really annoying.
    I monitored the requests sent by SQL Developer and it seems that the following request is responsible of the error :
    SELECT LINE,POSITION,TEXT,ATTRIBUTE FROM USER_ERRORS WHERE TYPE=:1AND NAME=:2
    Notice there are no spaces between ':1' and 'AND'. When executing 'by hand' the request with SQL Developer, it asks for the value of '1AND' bind variable and the value of '2'. Then, it fails to execute with... ORA-01722.
    Is it possible to avoid this bug ?
    Thank you for your help.

    We're doing rolling 2 week releases until production. Expect something new next week.

  • ORA-00600:6711 When clicking tables in SQL Developer 1.5.1

    Hello everyone.
    This will be my first time to post something in this forum. I have used SQL Developer for quite sometime already and it has really helped me in my daily tasks. I am looking after multiple databases. I have no problem in moving around in most of them except one. I always encounter this ORA-600 error when I try to click on Tables from the tree on the left-hand side of the screen to list all the tables in the database. The suggested action is to "Report as a bug".
    Hope anyone can help with this.

    Nobody can help without details...
    What DB? What version? Connection details? Can you connect with other tools?

  • ORA-01427 in C# but not in SQL Developer

    Hello everyone!
    I have a query that works perfectly when executed from SQL Developer. However, executing the same query from C# gives error ORA-01427.
    I am using Oracle.DataAccess.dll version 2.111.6.20, which cannot be changed, because the software is distributed and all users would have to install the new driver.

    "nr" "ver" "stat" "cnt"

    1 5 "TOL" 1
    And the output of part2 is (SQL Developer)
    "nr" "ver" "ok_cnt" "tol_cnt
    1 5 "" 1
    What am I doing wrong ? Or is this a known bug ?
    Cheers,
    Chris

    now if the sum is changing the value then I have to ask: are these hitting the same data sources?
    let's change the query around a bit and see if you get the same result
    try this query
    with
    mat_stats
    as
    SELECT 1 NR  ,
           5 VER ,
           'NOK' STAT ,
           4 CNT
    FROM DUAL
    UNION
    SELECT 1 NR  ,
           5 VER ,
           'TOL' STAT ,
           1 CNT
    FROM DUAL
    -- part 2
    select distinct
    nr,
    VER,
    SUM(CASE STAT WHEN 'OK' THEN CNT ELSE 0 END) OVER() OK_CNT,
    SUM(CASE STAT WHEN 'TOL' THEN CNT ELSE 0 END) OVER() tol_cnt
    FROM MAT_STATS ;
    NR                     VER                    OK_CNT                 TOL_CNT
    1                      5                      0                      1                      note I just "faked" your data based on your initial results, so you ought to be able to be able to change the with clause back to yours.
    Run a full select in C# and look over the result set (fill a datatable and do a row.count then compare to a full select in Developer and see if the row counts are the same.

  • Extension.xml and catching compile event in sql developer

    Hi,
    recently I've been trying to make a few plug-in/extensions for sql developer. One allows you to search through entire schema to find and procedures or functions that utilize any given procedure or function, this one works fine. The second one and the one that is giving me trouble is an extension that allows you to see if any items (procedures, functions,...) are broken, the goal with this one is for it to do this task automatically when a procedure or function is compiled to show if the compilation of the function or procedure broke anything else. I have this one working as a button in the toolbar and choice in the main menu, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to hook it on to a compile or run event. Please help!!!!

  • ORA-06550/PLS-00201 error while configuring data source

    Hi,
    My development platform is Visual Studio 2005, ODAC11g Release 1 (11.1.0.6.20), and Oracle 10g Release 2 database.
    I tried to setup a sqlDatasource in my web page using drag and drop features
    When I configure the sqlDatasource to use a stored procedure inside a package,
    I notice that odp.net uses #0# as separator (instead of .) between package name and procedure name in Configure Data Source dialog box. Then when I clcik the Test Query button, I got following error.
    There was an error executing the query. Please check the syntax of the command and if present, the types and values of the parameters and ensure they are correct.
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
    PLS-00201: identifier 'PK_LOOKUP_TABLE#0#P_LIST' must be declared
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 7
    PL/SQL: Statement ignored
    It looks like odp.net cannot locate PK_LOOKUP_TABLE#0#P_LIST.
    Is there any workaround ?
    Below is the stored procedure code. It compiles and runs without problem.
    PACKAGE BODY pk_lookup_table
    AS
    /* Get a list of lookup table name */
    PROCEDURE P_LIST (
    O_CURSOR OUT sys_refcursor )
    IS
    l_cur sys_refcursor;
    BEGIN -- executable part starts here
    OPEN l_cur FOR
    SELECT table_name
    FROM all_tab_comments u
    WHERE u.comments LIKE '%Lookup Table%'
    ORDER BY 1;
    o_cursor := l_cur;
    END P_LIST;
    END "PK_LOOKUP_TABLE";
    On the sqlDataSource property sheet, if I click the Select Query property, the Command and Parameter Editor will open, then I can change the select command name to PK_LOOKUP_TABLE.P_LIST. Then if I run the application, I get another error.
    Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
    Exception Details: Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleException: ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
    PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'P_LIST'
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
    PL/SQL: Statement ignored
    Seems that it can locate the procedure.
    In the Command and Parameter Editor dialog, I can add output parameter, but data type is restricted. There is no REF CURSOR datatype in the dropdown list.
    How can I add output parameter with REF CURSOR type via IDE ?
    Thanks for the time looking into this issue.

    Hi,
    Your code worked fine for me.
    Is MMP procedure owned by the same user that is running the batch file or does it have proper privileges and synonym?

  • ORA 0655, PLS 00201 identifier sys.dbms_repcat_utl2@tdr1.world

    I have created a repgroup CAROLINE and I get an error when I try to add a master site to it.The master definition site is on v 8.1.7.0.0.(tammy sid) and the master site (pony sid) on v 8.0.6.3.0.
    The error I get is :
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
    PLS-00201: identifier '[email protected]' must be declared
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:

    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_REPCAT_MAS", line 2039
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_REPCAT", line 556
    ORA-06512: at line 1
    I've followed the steps on the metalink doc 117434.1 to setup the replication user.
    I have checked all the objects,they exist and are valid. I I get the same error when I try to remove the group or purge administrative requests from the master site. The group is only removed from the master definition site.
    I have tried tested the database links and simulated this problem on another 817 db (dandy sid) as the master definition site to the same 8.0.6.3.0 (pony sid)master site and this test worked!
    So I can only conclude that there's something wrong on the other 817 db (tammy).

    Is there an Oracle version number anywhere in sight?
    Why are you trying to access a built-in package owned by SYS across a DB Link rather than using the local copy?
    Advanced (choke) Replication is a deprecated technology. Why aren't you using Streams?

  • Help on ORA-06550 & PLS-00363 Error while running a procedure from a packag

    Greeting All,
    I ran the following procedure from a package on a command line in sqlplus:
    SQL> exec QUALITY_ASSURANCE.COPY_SW_RESOURCES(2009,2010,9508);Where '2009' is the old fiscal year, '2010' is the new fiscal year and '9508' is the error code passed from the calling program. But, I received the following error messages:
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 53:
    PLS-00363: expression '9508' cannot be used as an assignment target
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
    PL/SQL: Statement ignored
    Any thoughts, suggestions and/or advice to resolve these errors.
    Thanks in advance.

    Justin,
    Thanks for your response and information. Yes, Theoa was correct the 3rd parameter is an OUT variable, and it is a numeric field. The procedure was called by a form as follows:
    QUALITY_ASSURANCE.COPY_SW_RESOURCES(:BLK_CONTROL.FROMFY,:BLK_CONTROL.TOFY,V_ERR);But the form does not work so I am trying to isolate the problem by running the procedure by itself in sqlplus to make sure there is no problem with the procedure.
    Yesterday, I was able to run the procedure in Toad for Oracle to a successful completion by providing the 3 parameters: (2009, 2010, null). Just wonder why I cannot run the same procedure with the same parameters on a command line in sqlplus as follows:
    exec QUALITY_ASSURANCE.COPY_SW_RESOURCES(2009,2010,null);So, if I understand your suggestion correctly, in order to run the procedure with the 3 parameter successfully in sqlplus,
    I have to declare the 3rd parameter in PL/SQL. That is to create a PL/SQL file as suggested and run the file, correct? CORRECT!
