Hi,
I got the following error when imported employee assigment per Hr_Assignment_Api.update_emp_asg_criteria. Could any one help us?
"ORA-20001: The assignment does not exist at this date.".

This error occurs as FLEX-ID for different combination for KFFs has not been generated. Therefore while migration your script is unable to fetch the Flex-id as they are not generated. You can work your way around by entering the possible combinations of KFFs for a single employee and eventually entering data for one employee manually.
eg. if for People Group Flexfield there are two segments A and B
A having LOV Corporate and Others
B having LOV Executive and Non Executive
Then you have to enter the possibilities from the frontend for one employee:
Corporate.Executive
Corporate.Non Executive
Others.Executive
Others.Non Executive

Hi Experts,
I'm finding the below mentioned error while I'm saving assignment with Salary Basis, Location and Payroll.
APP-PAY-06153: System Error : Procedure pay_us_emp_dt_tax_rules.insert_fed_tax_row - ORA-20001: &1 element does not exist or has not linked to pay at step 4.
Please note that I am able to save the record if I do not any one of Salary Basis, Location. Payroll. It is basically happening on creating default tax.
Can anyone pleas let me know if you have facing the above error and resolved?

ORA-20001 FLEX-ID DOES NOT EXIST

Hi Experts,
Please am having this issue when running create Grade api for HCM of Oracle EBS.
When i execute this script below to existing Business Group( Vision University 1759 or Vision Corporation 202 ) data is transferred to per_grades and per_grade_definitions tables
But when i execute this same script pointing to a Business Group (TEST BG 7891) we created by ourself it gives error code ORA-20001 FLEX-ID DOES NOT EXIST
I have a strong feeling that creating our Business Group and setting up the Grade Flexfield has a problem, but i can 't trace the fault, am not EBS expert
Please can you please advice where am going wrong !!

Well, i found the solution to my problem, and is just creating the segment you want to use in your flexfield without PASSING ANY VALUESET.

Getting error ORA-20001: FLEX-ID DOES NOT EXIST

I am trying to load new jobs.. I have run the fnd_flex_val_api.create_independent_vset_value to load the values into the segments needed.. NREL HR Job Title and NREL HR Job Descriptor and the values are in there.
I'm getting this in the hr_job_api.create_job api. thanks, Scott

"the path does not exist" error opening shared adobe files on XP machine

We recently upgraded a mac mini from Tiger (10.4.11) to Leopard (10.5.X) we updated to the most recent 10.5.
We have an office with 3 macs and 1 XP.
All users connect to the Mac Mini via SMB sharing.
Everyone Authenticates as the same admin user.
*The XP machine can open and save all file types EXCEPT Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator files.*
They are using CS3.
The mac and XP users could open save and share all files prior to the leopard update.
We used the "Archive and Install" option to upgrade to leopard.
The shared files had the "unknown Group" error which we solved by adding them to the ADMIN group. This step changed the error message the the XP user was receiving.
I have tried many networking fixes, including group policy on windows, turning off IPv6 on the Mini, but we cannot open or save files directly from Illustrator.
When the file
We can move files to the XP desktop then open and save. Files saved on the XP machine can be moved back to the mini and opened directly by all of the Mac users.
Any guesses why this might be occurring?

There are actually two separate error messages received by the windows user when trying to open files off of the Mini.
"the path does not exist" and "this file cannot be found".
This happens when we navigate directly to the file with windows explorer.

ORA-01418: specified index does not exist though the index exist !!

Hi all,
This problem occures only sometimes. I'm getting the list of indexes from the user_indexes table and later perform on them a rebuild operation by using the command :
Alter index index_name coalesce
This might cause on some indexes to the following error:
ORA-01418: specified index does not exist
I know these indexes exist and I didn't find any reson for this situation.
Does anyone have any idea about it ?

The index name can be created in sensitive case. Try to use double-quote.
Alter index "index_name" coalesce;That give something like this :

Emca fails - ORA-04043: object HA_HOST_CREDS_ARR does not exist

I'm recreating an EM repository in an 11g database which I upgraded from 10g recently. Its running on Solaris 10 and its repository wasn't working so I dropped it with plans to recreated it. As part of the prep work I did the following:
- Dropped user sysman with cascade option
- Dropped public synonyms referencing tables owned by sysman
- Altered profile default making its attributes unlimited (company I work for change it for security)
- Dropped role MGMT_USER
After setting the Oracle Home and SID I ran emca:
emca -config dbcontrol db -repos create

Hi,
the missing object is a "table-type" object which you can create with the statement:
CREATE TYPE "SYSMAN"."HA_HOST_CREDS_ADDR" AS
TABLE OF "SYSMAN"."HA_HOST_CREDS_OBJ"
But this will work only if the "object-type" object HA_HOST_CREDS_OBJ exists. If not, here's the statement:
CREATE TYPE "SYSMAN"."HA_HOST_CREDS_OBJ" AS OBJECT ( "CRED_SET"
VARCHAR2(32), "PASSWORD" VARCHAR2(256), "USERNAME"
VARCHAR2(256) )
I'm not sure why this objects don't exist - the belong to the user SYSMAN and should get created when creating the user SYSMAN...

Hi Pratap,
I think it should work now right as i am using UNION in extended VO and assigning the attribute3 to Job. As per the querybean it will create where clause based on JOB,so it should handle right.

ORA-27473: argument 1 does not exist

Hello
I've been trying to create a file_watcher to check for files arriving at the filesystem. But keep getting the error "ORA-27473: argument 1 does not exist ". I've searched forums but can't find an answer to get me on track.
Does anyone know why I get this error?
The examples I've been following are those provided by oracle and some from the web. All very simple and run, but mine does not.
The system I'm using is a Oracle prebuilt VM 'Database App Development VM', where the OS is Oracle Linux 5 and Oracle Database 11.2 EE.

The user does not exist or is not unique - workflow problem

I am using Solution Starters Dynamic Management workflow on my Project Server 2010. I was working fine for a year now, but today all workflows were broken when someone tried to submit them to a next stage. "Workflow terminated. An error has occurred
in the workflow."
I tried debbuging the workflow and it seems to be OK, but the problem appears when it needs to assign tasks to the approvers (they are in the Approvers group). When I remove users from the group that represents approvers (and leave that group empty), it
works fine, so I am guessing that users (who need to approve the stage) are the problem. My administrators are saying that there were no updates or changes on AD machine.
I don't have problem with users in any of people picker fields or anywhere else on the site. I am using claims auth.
What could be the reason for this behavior??

It appears that this isn't the problem with users, but it is a problem with Office Tasks. This is the main error in ULS logs (same as in the previous post):
"Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter name: additionalNodes"
I noticed that all content types are gone from my pwa site. Is it possible that my workflow is causing problems when adding tasks because somebody deleted all content types??

In the execution,i have this error :ora-01006 :bind variable does not exist, after analyzing,i have found that the problem is with parameters :5 and :6 ,i don't understand they have the same syntax
as bind variables 1,2,3 and 4.

I hope you do realise that there are 13 bind-variables in your sql, not 6?
Variables are bound by position. You cannot use the same bind variable twice, they will be 2 distinct bind variables.
For example, you use :1 three times, so you need to provide three arguments, in this case three times the same value.

Here mappings are getting executed by calling a pl/sql procedure. This pl/sql procedure is executed every day by scheduling a dbms_job. After the error, the job is in hanging.
Last week also the same error happened, on that occasion , restarted the database and re submitted the job. Mapping executed without any error.

See Note:125860.1 in metalink (and please, lol to solution #3). It applies to older OWB versions though... Are you using DBMS_JOB or OEM to run these mappings? If so, then the metalink note might be useful help.
Karesz, I believe if the source database was down, it would fail with an ORA-12XXX Error.

Hi All,
I have done the integration of R3 back end with SRM system (SRM 5.0) Classic scenario is working fine.
In the direct Material Procurement I get an error message that "the material does not exist in plant or flagged for deletion".
I checked R/3 side material is active only and I have assigned plant in extend attributes.
Can you please help me to resolve this problem..

check you validit date from and to for that material in comm_product table.* if it is valid you can do shopping or else you cant.
