Oracle ADF - Check box auto refresh on first select.

Hi,
I am using ADF application for development. in my project.
when select Check box for all record selection then all
Check box auto refresh on first select. and also records get refreshed
Pls suggest a solution for the same.
Thanks
Vinod

Vinod,
You need to give more information about your use case and the jdev version you are using.
You question is not clear to me. Do you want to set an attribute in all rows when you select a "select all" check box?
What do you mean by "Check box auto refresh on first select"?

  • ADF Table with check box on each row  - First time selection gets unchecked

    Hi,
        The ADF Table has a check box in each, whenever a select box is clicked for the first time , it gets unselected automatically.
    Also if I select a row / click on a row and then select the check box, it is properly getting selected. I see there is some kind of autosubmit happens. Is there a way to handle this scenerio?
    Regards,
    Dhamo

    I had this same issue happen in 11.1.1.6.x  This is a bug involving an autosubmit when the checkbox is selected.
    After migrating to 11.1.1.7.0 on J Developer and Weblogic, the problem was fixed.
    One thing to check is to make sure you are using the jars from ADF 11.1.1.7.0.
    Hope that helps

  • ADF Application gets auto refreshed

    Hi
    i have my ADF application deployed in one of the weblogic clustered server. There are four weblogic managed cluster.
    In my application i am reading a csv file and performing some user operation with OIM.
    It is taking much time around more than 5 min (i guess performance issue) and after that the application gets refreshed and back to home page is displayed where as in logs i am getting the debugs of file read.
    Its only the application page that gets auto refreshed....
    Please help !!!
    from where the application get refreshed? is this a weblogi clustered application issue??
    i tried the same application in another server where the application process the same file quickly(with less time) and no refresh of application happens.
    Regards

    hi Ramandeep
    i just checked the web.xml... the session timeout is not set in my application... so for that is there any default value for the application to get timeout?
    and in my scenario i am not getting session time out message in my UI .... that session has been timedout please refresh or retry ...
    the page gets totally refreshed.
    i guess this is the problem of failure of HTTP sessions in clustered web logic where the connection in promary fails trys to connect secoundary cluster and if that fails the HTTP page gets refreshed....
    can u please suggest if i am getting the problem correct or not ??

  • Oracle apex check box with update column

    hi to all:
    i have report emp.it contain data like eno,ename,sal,record .
    example:eno ename sal record
    100 a 100
    200 b 3000 going on...
    using this column i am making report by using apex and report contain one submit button also.
    1)in this report i am creating dynamic check box depend on eno..see my coding
    declare
    str varchar2(3000);
    begin
    str:='select htmldb_item.CHECKBOX(10,eno,DECODE(record,1,''CHECKED'')) "SELECT" ,eno,ename,sal ,record from emp where 1=1';
    return str;
    end;
    2)in process crated after  submit
    iam created pl/code like ..this code for
    declare
    i number;
    str varchar2(2000);
    emp_id number;
    begin
    FOR i in 1..HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F10.count
    LOOP
    IF HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F10(i) is not null then
    SELECT htmldb_application.G_F10(i) INTO emp_id from dual;
    --insert into my_log values(emp_id);commit;
    update emp set record=1 where eno=emp_id ;
    commit;
    else if HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F10(i) is null then
    update emp set record=0 where eno=emp_id ;
    commit;
    else
    null;
    end if;
    end loop;
    end;
    my requirenent:
    a)if check box checked then -update -record column -1
    b)if check box uncked then -update - record column -0
    in process coding--
    eno alway is not null only..
    so i want to do check box with update the record column..like this
    a)if check box checked then -update -record column -1
    b)if check box uncked then -update - record column -0
    pls give solution.
    output i want like this example:
    chebox eno ename sal record
    checked(X) 100 a 300 1
    checked(x) 200 b 300 1
    next time i am trying to make uncheck first row like
    chebox eno ename sal record
    unchecked 100 a 300 0
    checked(x) 200 b 300 1

    I'm not really sure what your problem is but if you are trying to update/save data when a checkbox is checked I would use javascript to call an application process to do the update/save.

  • FREE check box in PO should be selected by default for specific material

    Hi All,
    We have a check box  FREE in PO creation - ME21N in the item row  which is selected when ever we want the vendor to supply those items as free.
    - I have a list ot items which are supplied freely by the vendor which I have to mention in the PO. My requirment is when ever the specific material is in the PO the FREE check box should be selected by default. Is it possible?
    Please advice.
    Thanks ,
    Vengal Rao.

    Hi Vengal Rao,
    I don't think there's such flag in the material master. As far as I know any material can be supplied either free or chargeable - the buyer has to choose the applicable option it in each specific PO.
    If however in your business case certain materials shall always be supplied as free, then you can use the BAdI that I mentioned above to analyse which material is being procured and set the FREE flag in the PO accordingly.

  • Check Box in Tree (tree multiple selection)

    I need to create a 2 level hierarchy tree, where the user is allowed to make multiple selection on leaf node. One way is to use TableTree (TreeByNestingTableColumn), but with this I am unable to get the same look and feel of a simple Tree view.
    My questions are:
    1. Is there a way to enable multiple selection on a simple Tree?
    2. If the answer to question 1 is no, then is there a way to add check boxes to the Tree elements (be it parent or leaf)?
    3. Is there anything that can be done to solve this issue without using TableTree?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Please go through Multiselection in Tree control thread.
    The solution outline is like this:
    1. When you click on a leaf, you mark it as selected and you can also store it in the context.
    2. Click as many leaves as you like and the onAction will mark each of them as selected.
    3. There's no need to do a CTRL+click, only normal clicks.
    4. Once done you can find out all the marked leaves.

    Satyajit.

  • Check box  in ALV Header for selection

    Hi,
    I'm working on ALV in ABAP web dynpro. We have a requirement to check some rows and based on the selection a FM should be executed.
    I've used checkbox in the column for selection. Is there anyway to use a check box (or any element)  in the column header and use that to select all.
    I checked the ALV column header class documentation but didnt find anything that allows UI elements in header.
    Any workaround to tackle this?
    Thank you,
    Vasu

    Hi Thomas,
    I've already done that (in toolbar).  Checking if there is some hidden option that I missed to do this. Looks like there isn't

  • Check box in Grid for multiple selection

    Hi,
    Right now i am using dynamic code to generate grid for checkboxs(multiple selection) it is working fine but it is taking time to generate grid.Is there any method(MII 12.0 option) to display data along in the gird
    Thanks
    Ramesh

    In MII 12.2 we added the "checkbox" display option/feature for the MII iGrid applet for displaying boolean values using the checkbox icon.  If you want something more robust and interactive the iGrid may not be the best choice and leveraging an XSLT to generate HTML dynamically from your XML data , HTML 5 libraries, or dHTMLx can all be options for supporting more robust UI displays.
    Perhaps this link will help you along with understanding the XSLT route:
    Interfacing MII and the dHTMLx Editable Grid  The following document will discuss in detail how to create a working interface from the dHTMLx Editable Grid to MII Query Templates. It also includes a sample project with a working example and content to illustrate how this interface can be achieved.
    Sam
    PS: Please remember that the MII UI is intended to be a mash-up design so just about any web technology will work...I say just about because .aspx will not as there isn't a .NET backed for NetWeaver.

  • Display auto refresh at UDF

    Hi all!
    I've created user form at Screen Painter (B1 2007 A, sp1, pl10 hf2). Add FS for one field. Go to Tools - User-Dafined Values (Shift+F2) and choose Search in Existing User-Defined Values according to Saved Query. After that check box Auto Refresh When Field Changes is not displayed.
    Any ideas, why?

    This field for view OCRD.CardCode. I try DB and User DataSource. But in both variants the result was the same.

  • Auto refresh facility is there in ADF swings?

    Suppose i am displaying data from the data base using updateable or read only view. If any record is updated or inserted on back end this should reflect on the front end. How achieve this in ADF swings.
    Auto refresh facility is there in ADF swings?

    Hi,
    if the update is in the database then there is no notification to the Swing client to refresh. In JDeveloper 11 this will become possible with the new Oracle DB 11 JDBC driver. If you needed this functionality then you either need to frequently re-query or use other mechanisms like Adavanced Queueing in the database

    JDev version: JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0.

    Well, could be a DB bug. I seem to remember that there was a bug in that area in an older version of 11g.
    Or you could use jnettrace to trace the calls made by the driver to the DB. That should show you what's going wrong.

    Check that the adf runtime is installed each managed server in the cluster you deploy the application to.

  • NullPointerException:oracle.adf.model.binding.DCIteratorBinding.releaseData

    Hi
    Recently, I am getting following exception when I simply login into the application without any tasks being performed, there were no changes made to the code or to the server. This is on my local server.

    Strangely, the same app i deployed on the Unix Development Server & the it works perfectly fine.
    I went through all the forum solution, nothing has helped me out :(
    Please Help.
    Thanks.

    Hi Timo.
    Following are the answers.
    Which jdev version? --- 11.1.1.3.0
    Which kind of application? ---- It is a simple ADF fusion application.
    What Other systems your application talks to? --- Application is having DB as Oracle & Weblogic server, doesnt talk to any other systems.
    Which kind of security do you use? --- JAAS security.
    I have a login page. After entering the UID & PWD, it gets verified against JAAS. If it is a valid user it displays the Screen with all the records for that User.
    Problem is when i Click on the Login button, it tries to do something for a second & after a while it displays this exception on the screen.
    My Local server is a Windows server, while this same application works fine when deployed to a Unix Server. I checked all the configuration on both the servers, didnt get anything that makes any difference.
    Pls Help.
    Thanks.
    Tina.
