Oracle Apps EBS-Order Management Ceritification Query

Hi Gurus,
I found there are two different sets of exam for R12 - Certified Implementation Specialist and Certified Expert Consultant.
First time I am taking certification in Oracle EBS, my company is OPN partner. They have asked me to take certification, please advise which one I have to take first, which is useful and get indepth knowledge about Order management.
Is there any chronological order to take above test? first specialist, next Expert or directly can I take Expert.
If anyone has any useful material/ Question and Answers, useful information about EBS-Order management, fundamentals of applications, Kindly forward to [email address removed by moderator for security purposes]
Thanks
Kumar

First you need to remove your email address. The moderator will remove it if you don't. Any materials that can be emailed to you are either illicit (brain dumps) or illegal (copyrighted). Requesting them on this forum is not allowed.
...please advise which one I have to take first, which is useful and get indepth knowledge about Order management. The Expert certification will require more in-depth knowledge than the specialist certification. Specialist certifications are primarily targeted at candidates belonging to OPN partners to demonstrate overview knowledge rather than in-depth.
Is there any chronological order to take above test? first specialist, next Expert or directly can I take Expert. The two tests have no relationship to each other in that respect.

    Hi,
The KCUSTEST.fmb is present under au top and the .fmx is only present under kcus top.Are you able to access the form from the application if you rename the fmx file under the CUSTOM_TOP directory?
There is one more issue, for testing i had registered a form KPAYDOCKET from from Application Developer ---> Application --> Form.
I have alreday deleted the .fmb and .fmx but still not able to delete the entry from Application Developer ---> Application --> Form
When i try to delete i get the error that the object is been referenced.Make sure the form is not not referenced in (Application > Function) and (Application > Menu).

  • Order Management Portal

I have heard about a product or module with Oracle 11i referred to as the Order Management Portal, but cannot find any documentation on it. Has anyone heard of this new module and if so can you help me understand what it does, or where may be some documentation on it.
    Thanks,

There are two products - Order Management and Oracle Portal. Order Management is part of the E-Business Suite of applications and allows functions like order entry, shipping etc to be handled. The Oracle Portal is a technology tool used to create intranet / internet sites without any programming.
You could use Oracle Portal as the intranet development tool, and on which one of the links (or a permanent portlet) to be the Order Management functionalities.

  • Tuning Oracle Applicatons Order Management Query

    Hi
We are trying to build a Order Management related workbench for this I have created below query as per the client requirement.
And I have to use one package function to get Available_qty based on client defination. Package Function name is "xx_eg_calculated_onhand".
User will query this view based on Customer_id and Salesperson_id. When this view executed with these two values its taking long time.
But, if user queries with order_number it is getting executed fastly. Could somebody let me know what should I do to get this query execute fast when
user query with either customer_id or salesrep_id OR both.

  • Batch load script for Order Management with Oracle R12 EBS

    Hello,
I am looking for a way to load a million dummy test records into Order Management. For example, I would like to automate a batch process to generate a million new sales orders for Oracle 12.1.1 EBS on Linux platform. If anyone has an idea on how to script this, would appreciate your help.

    Two questions:
    1. How would I modify the following script to generate a million new orders for OM:
    2. How can I register and create a concurrent program with the script?

  • Oracle Apps 11i: Output Post Manager is down

    Hi Experts,
I was working on Oracle application cloning 11i lately and after completing the clone, my conc. manager output post manager (OPP) is not coming up in target system.
I  tried to fix the issue by running "cmclean.sql" and thn ran autoconfig on application node, but still the issue persists
The logfile for FNDOPP(outout post manager) says:-
[12/17/13 5:24:30 PM] [main] Starting GSF service with concurrent process id = 154919.

FYI, The below metalink note did not help
Concurrent Processing - R12 Output Post Processor Service Not Coming Up. (Doc ID 460578.1)
Can anyone help me to fix the issue? Your assistance will be highly appreciated.
    DB version: 11.2.0.3
    EBS Version: 11.5.10.2
    Platform: 2.6.39-300.17.3.el5uek (Linux)

    Thanks for replying Asif.
In ICM log file, I see occurrence of these error messages in bulk.It looks Mangers are wrongly defined or fnd_nodes having some incorrect values.
Do I have to perform the application clone again or is there any another way to fix it.

  • OPM/Oracle Order Management

What are the pro's and con's of switching from OPM Order Fulfillment to Oracle Order Management?
We use Order Fulfillment now and are concern we will lose the profile functionality when and if we upgrade.

OPM Order Fulfillment is a simple to use Order Entry and Shipping application that meets the needs of many process manufacturers.
Oracle Order Management is more flexible and configurable to suit a number of different industries. Oracle Process Manufacturing is integrated
to Order Management and has functionality to support entry of order quantities in two units of measure, as well as designation
of a preferred quality grade and automatic allocation of process inventory.
In place of the Order Profile (or order template) functionality available in Order Fulfillment, we recommend using the Copy Order
functionality in Order Management. You can establish a special order type in Order Management (you can call it Template or
Profile) and assign a workflow to the order type that makes it "non-transactable" (the order stays in an "entered" state so that
it can't be booked or shipped). You can query on these special order types and copy them to create standard orders. When you
copy an order in Order Management, you can change the order type, so the Template order can be copied and the new order
    type can be "Standard".

  • Not able to integrate SOA Suite with EBS using Oracle APPS Adapter

    Hi,
We need to listen to outbound business events of Oracle EBS using BES via Oracle APPS Adapter.
We have created a composite containing Oracle Application Adapter and BPEL Process.
In Apps adapter when configured Outbound Business events "oracle.apps.bom.component.modified" using Dequeue Operation,a corresponding subscriber is created in WF_BPEL_Q for respective event selected.
    In Oracle EBS
for "oracle.apps.bom.component.modified" status is enabled and in subscription WF_BPEL_QAGENT is there.
When we are changing any BOM component in Oracle EBS Designer and saving it, a record is being created in "WF_BPEL_QTAB".
BPEL Process( Oracle Apps Adapter Partner Link---> Recieve Actvity ) instances are not being created when any BOM component is being changed.
Oracle Apps Adapter is not able to dequeue the data from WF_BPEL_QTAB.
There is not any error/exception in oracle soa suite server logs for Oracle APPS adapter.

We would like to capture a few business events in oracle BOM and PO that are of interest to us. In order to do this,
we deploy oracle SOA composite with BEPL in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Control. The oracle SOA composite is configured for a particular outbound business event. It should listens on a specific queue WF_BPEL_Q or WF_BPEL_QTAB and de-queues the messages from that Oracle Queue or Oracle AQ Table. In jDeveloper 11g we created a SOA project with oracle applications adapter partner link and a receive.
Specifically we are trying to capture the business outbound event oracle.apps.bom.component.modified just to get the event data in this receive.
Partner link configuration: We added the database connection to the oracle EBS instance. Tested it and we
succeded. Chose ANY_SCHEMA in partner link configuration.
We ensured that the JNDI Name here( eis/Apps/Apps ) match the JNDI name provided in the weblogic-->Deployments--
OracleAppsAdapter -->Configuration --> Outbound Connection Pools. For this outbound resource pool, Connection factory interface was javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory. Property name xADataSourceName was mapped to JNDI name of the configured JDBC datasource in the weblogic. When we created the connection pool. We tested and it worked fine. This data source had the connection pool configured to the oracle applications schema with APPS user.
After adding the partner link with the above configuration, we added a receive. We deployed this configuration to the middleware. We went to the oracle EBS modified a BOM component and we expected to having running BPEL instances against the deloyed composite. However, the problem is we are not having any running instance for the composite.
We found that there are entries in the view AQ$WF_BPEL_QTAB with an ENQ_TIME and ENQ_TIMESTAMP but with no DEQ_TIME or DEQ_TIMESTAMP. The ENQ_TIMESTAMP corresponds to the time we modified BOM in oracle BOM forms/Designer
The data is being written in WF_BPEL_QTAB for the BOM changes but not being dequeued by oracle applications adapter/composites deployed in soa server.
Please help me it quite urgent.
Is there anything we are missing on EBS side to be activited. for the events to be dequeued
    Any Help is appreciated.

  • Query regarding identification of Customizations done in Oracle Apps

    Hi,
I am from an IT personnel from a banking industry.
Here we are using Oracle Apps (CU1) that too on Oracle 9i. In order to go ahead with
migration of Oracle to 10g we need to migrate the application from CU1 to CU2.
But before we go with this migration, at first place we need to identify what all
customizations have been done in CU1. The application is operational in our bank since 7-8
years, somewhere we have lost the tracking sheet of the customizations done earlier.
Please help out if there is anyway (tools, script, etc) to find what all customizations
have been done in the product.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Abhinov Asthana
    Mumbai

    Sorry - incorrect answer :-)
CUSTOM.pll does not capture ALL of the customizations/extensions that may be present.
As stated before, currently there is no tool or query that will give you this info - it can only be captured thru good documentation practices.
