Oracle Apps HRMS certification

Dear All,
I want to do some certification in HRMS module (Oracle Apps), however, whenever i google i get only list of certification available for Finance mudule. Do any one of you kow if there are ANY certification available for HRMS module.

Hi Aasma,
The standard BI Publisher is part of EBS applications.
Most of the EBS reports(R12) are based on BI Publisher.
If you check the responsibility 'XML Publisher Administrator' you will see all the templates used in the application.
Your technical team should already know this.
On the other hand OBIEE would need separate licences.
But for you BI Publisher would do.

Reg Oracle Apps DBA Certification

Hi,
I am Certified for DBA on both 9i and 10g. Now I am planning to do Oracle Apps DBA Certification. Is that necessary I need to the Database Funda I and Funda II Exam again. Is that 11i Exam is alone is enough to be Oracle Apps DBA?
Pls Clarify me.

Since you are an Oracle 9i & 19g Certified, then you are directly eligible to write the Apps DBA Exam - 1z0-233.
Pre-requisite for 1Z0-233 exam is that one should have earned Oracle9i and 10g Database Administrator Certified Professionals can achieve an upgrade to the Oracle 11i Applications Database Administrator Certified Professional credential through passing the exam Oracle 11i Install, Patch and Maintain Applications - 1Z0-233.

Please refer to the fast formula user's guide of the applications documentation. It's pretty well explained how fast formula works and the many uses it can have as well as examples. Also, review existing formulas to have and idea of their implementation for some basic functionality.

Confirmation process of an Employee in Oracle Apps HRMS

How is the confirmation process handled in HRMS when the employee completes the probation period?

Hello,
How u distinguishing your employees who are confirmed and those who are in probation period ?
Once probation period is end (defined in assignment --> Probation tab) then either one of the following can be happen:
1. Employee got confirmed
2. Probation extended
3. Employee got terminated
Any action can be fired using a custom concurrent program.

Payslip is not visible in oracle apps hrms

I'm using 11i, my payslip option for one of the user she gets an error message stating
"You cannot continue this action beacause the select person is terminated or susspended assigment".
Why its throws error?

How to change Date of joining in Oracle Apps Hrms?

While employee data migration i have entered incorrect original date of hire.Now ,i want to correct it to system date.
I'm using 'hr_person_api.update_person' to correct the date but not able to do.So, can any let me know how i can do that from backend.

When you say "you are not able to"...what error messages are you getting back from the API?
If its to correct a single person then its easier to do this via the front end application forms.
