Hi,
I have installed the Oracle BPM in our server,but facing some problem while login..
1)Installed Software.

Weblogic Server wls1033_oepe111150_win32
Repository Creation Utility (11.1.1.3.3)
BPM Suite & Patch SOA Suite (11.1.1.2.0) and SOA Suite (11.1.1.3.0)
Oracle JDeveloper 11 g (11.1.1.3.0) (Build 5660)
Able to Browse
Oracle EM FMW Control ......... http://localhost:7001/em Able to login with weblogic id and pwd
Oracle WLS Console ............ http://localhost:7001/console Able to login with weblogic id and pwd
Oracle BPM Workspace .......... http://localhost:7001/bpm/workspace Not Able to login with weblogic id and pwd
Oracle Process Composer ....... http://localhost:7001/bpm/composer Not Able to login with weblogic id and pwd
I am not able to login into the composer and workspace ,i try adding the users in the securityrelam but also this is not helping..
Please suggest a way to debugg and rectify this issue.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Shyam

If you are using managed server (default), the URLs will be:
Oracle BPM Workspace .......... http://localhost:8001/bpm/workspace
Oracle Process Composer ....... http://localhost:8001/bpm/composer
That is port 8001 instead of 7001

  • Oracle BPM Composer and no ADF

    Hi Everyone,
    We are planning to use Oracle BPM as our BPM engine. But our organization doesn't support ADF. So could anyone help to answer the below questions. Thanks a lot for your time.
    1) Can we use Oracle BPM Composer... Does Oracle BPM composer require extended ADF Domain?
    2) Default BPM workspace can't be used. So we need to build our own workspace. Are they any predefined framework to build a MVC or any other java framework to build workspace.
    3)Could anyone let me know the additional things we should take care in case we don't use ADF domain.
    Thanks everyone for your time.

    Oracle BPM Studio (JDeveloper) is used by developers to create processes, human tasks, the process instance payloads, the composite services used by the processes, complex transformations, business rules and the ADF UIs.
    Composer is a business user oriented web based tool used by business analysts with similar capabilities.  Using Composer, business people can create and maintain processes, define process instance payloads, human tasks, process payloads, business rules.  Instead of creating ADF UIs, you create and test web forms using a web based UI web form designer tool that it comes with in 11.1.1.7. Because the forms built using Composer can only be viewed from the Workspace or WebCenter Spaces tools, and because you're not going to use the Workspace or WebCenter Spaces tools, you won't be able to use Composer to create your UIs.
    You might want to rethink your decision to not use the Workspace or WebCenter Spaces tools, but because you're not going to use either one you will instead be building your forms using the form design tool of your choice.
    Although I'd advise you against recreating it, you'll need to become comfortable using the different APIs Oracle BPM exposes if you're going to try to duplicate the Workspace and WebCenter Spaces tool functionality.
    Here's the API JavaDoc and a few blogs that will give you some tips on getting started:

  • Oracle BPM Composer and other Apps Too Slow

    Dear Forum Members,
    I made a installation of Oracle BPM/SOA Suite in a Development VM with 5GB RAM.
    The web applications such as BPM Composer, EM, Weblogic Console are too slow. They take too much time to load.
    I am using the JRockit JVM and Centos 6.
    Regards.

    Bump up your memory to 8gb and then look at your xmx setting in your startWeblogic.sh and ensure it's 3072m or more.

    I fixed this in my environment by doing the following:
    in Enterprise Manager use the MBean Browser to navigate to Application Defined MBeans->oracle.as.soainfra.config->[ server]->SoaInfraConfig->soa-infra. Then changing the value of 'ServerURL' to the IP address of the server instead of localhost

    You're right, I restarted the server again and again...
    I have just opened the sr in metalink, it has been confirmed as a bug. Unfortunately there's no way to workaround. What I can do now is waiting for the solution.

  • OBIA 7.9.5 EBS Integration Not Logged On nQSError 43001 Authentication Fail

    Hi,
    I'm attempting to get Oracle Business Intelligence Applications 7.9.5 / OBIEE 10.1.3.3.2 integrated into the eBusiness Suite 11.5.10.2 per Metalink Note 552735.1. At the moment not an action link, just menu option to SA Administrator.
    I've run into and worked around a number of problems with the Initialization block variables setup in OracleBIAnalyticsApps.rpd and now no longer get errors in the NQServer.log after disabling Initialization Blocks for Siebel/Peoplesoft and disabling 2 EBS specific Init blocks that were erroring; 'Inventory Organizations' and 'Ledgers' I'll fix those later.
    However, now I get an error in the sawlog0.log file as follows:
    File: project/webodbcaccess/odbcconnectionimpl.cpp Line: 371
    Properties: ConnId-6,6;ThreadID-1145072560

    Authentication Failure.
    Odbc driver returned an error (SQLDriverConnectW).
    Can anyone point me in the right direction here?
    Thanks,
    Gareth

    The strange thing is both Gareth and I have configured OBIA/OBIEE on a Linux server and local authentication works fine. Once we enable external EBS authentication, we get the error listed above.
    Does anyone who has done the OBIA EBS integration with OBIEE running on Linux have an example of the odbc.ini file. It appears that even though we have reconfigured OracleBIAnalyticsApps.rpd to use OCI everywhere, that there is still some hard coded ODBC references for external authentication.
    We are configuring instanceconfig.xml as directed:
    Integrating Oracle Business Intelligence Applications with Oracle E-Business Suite
    https://metalink2.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_database_id=NOT&p_id=552735.1
    Configuring InstanceConfig.xml for External Authentication
    1. Modify the instanceconfig.xml file for the Oracle BI Presentation Services as shown below:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <WebConfig>
    <ServerInstance>
    <CatalogPath>c:\temp\default</CatalogPath>
    <DSN>AnalyticsWeb</DSN>
    <Auth>
    <ExternalLogon enabled="true">
    <ParamList>
    <Param name="NQ_SESSION.ICX_SESSION_COOKIE"
    source="cookie"
    nameInSource="EBSAppsDatabaseSID"/>
    <Param name="NQ_SESSION.ACF"
    source="url"
    nameInSource="ACF"/>
    </ParamList>
    </ExternalLogon>
    </Auth>
    <!-- Other settings here. -->
    </ServerInstance>
    </WebConfig>
    2. The nameInSource for the cookie should be the same as the Oracle E-Business Suite application database SID name. To verify the name of the cookie, using Firefox, check the name of the cookie created under the us.oracle.com domain (or the domain where your Oracle E-Business Suite Application server is running). Please note that the cookie name is case sensitive.

  • BPM Composer Error

    Hi. I was working in a model in BPM Composer (deployed on soa_server1 - Oracle BPM SOA server 11g - 11.1.1.4):
    1- I created a Project
    2- I created (my error) an asynchronous process
    3- I deleted the process, because I need a manual process.
    I tried to save the project but in this moment I saw an error (seems the project not found the old deleted process ).
    I tried to close the session, then I tried to create a new process, then I tried to create a new project, but nothing worked. Finally I need to close the browser (Firefox).
    When I reopened the browser and try to return to my work, my project still not work. When I click on the project icon appears:
    "BPM-70813: Project not found in folder 'RetirosAportacionesVoluntarias'. Cause: The specified project was not found. Action: Check that the name of the project is correct. Caused by: [Error] /bpm/drafts/RetirosAportacionesVoluntarias/weblogic/deletedFiles0. Caused by: /bpm/drafts/RetirosAportacionesVoluntarias/weblogic/deletedFiles0. "
    This error log appears in EM:

  • Process player capability of oracle BPM 11.1.1.7

    Hi All,
    I have downloaded and installed Oracle SOA suite 11.1.1.7 and wanted to use the functionality of process player but I'm not able to use it.
    Does the trial version does not include this functionality??
    Please help.
    Thanks in advance.

    What kind of error are you getting when attempting to run it? Are you able to use Process Composer?
    Here are a few things I discovered that you need to be aware of before trying to run it: http://avioconsulting.com/blog/getting-started-oracle-bpm-composer-web-forms-and-process-player

  • BPM Composer and custom authenticator

    Hello experts,
    We are using BPM Suite release 11.1.1.4 and we have setup a custom database authenticator for the BPM domain. After following the steps described in the [forum post|http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=9428626] we have managed to connect successfully to the BPM workspace using administrative rights. Nevertheless, it is not possible to retrieve any projects in the bpm composer page (/bpm/composer), by using any account at all. In all cases, the help page appears and user cannot proceed to any actions.
    Could you please suggest any configuration, role assignment or any other workaround for enabling users coming from a custom database authenticator to work on the bpm composer environment?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Serafeim.

    Never mind. I solved this problem. Just need to ensure all the authenticator control flag set to SUFFICIENT.

  • BPM Composer not show login screen in SOA VM machine for Oracle VirtualBox

    Installed Oracle Virtual Box (4.2.4) and installed the SOA_BPM domain appliance (using SOA & BPM Development VM) - not a problem.
    When attmpt to access http://localhost:7001/bpm/composer - simply get a blank screen - nothing on it.
    When attempt to access bpm/workspace - no problem - get a login screen.
    Help - what is happening, how do I get a login screen for http://localhost:7001/bpm/composer
    Thanks - Casey

    Hi,
    I'm not sure how the domain is organised in that vm, but you have to make sure you are using the port-number of the soa_server, not the AdminServer.
    Hope this helps...
    Cheers,
    Vlad

    I've noticed similar issues when working with 12c Composer's PAM as the sharing mechanism.
    If you can, bring your project up in Oracle BPM Studio and then export it as an .exp file.  You should then be able to import it back into Composer.

    Even I tried using hostname as "localhost" but still I am facing the same issue.
    Please suggest what is the resolution for the same.

    Hi,
    I was getting same excepction when tried to configure weblogic server (10.3.3 and 10gR3) through BPM Configuration Wizard, so I end up doing everything manually, like setting up JDBC data sources, JMS Server, JMS Modules and created DB (Directory & Engine).
    Now, I am stuck at the last step of deploying the EAR files generated using BPM Process Administrator, they EAR's are generated fine but while deploying them to Weblogic server (through BPM Process Administrator), getting following exception (for "01-eng-bpmengine.ear")
    <Servlet: "engineStartup" failed to preload on startup in Web application: "/albpmServices/bpmengine".

    my assumption is JDBC Data Sources or the Directory/Engine database have some column name mismatch.
    Let me know if somebody has a solution for this, or if I am doing something wrong.
    NOTE: just found out that this happens only on Windows 2003 server, but not on OEL5 (Oracle Enterprise Linux 5).
    Thanks !!

  • Oracle BPM: After deploying from composer

    Hi,
    ..... JDev version: 11.1.1.7.0 ......
    - I finished project and deployed it and users started to work on it.
    - Some users has some tasks in tasklist.
    Now I made some modifications and re-deployed the project from bpm composer with the same Revision ID I found all users tasks was gone ( all users has 0 tasks ), is there any way to back these tasks again?
    My question in other way: How can I keep running instances on after redeployment from bpm composer?
    Thanks

    In version 11.1.1.7, you can keep the existing instances when redeploying using the same version number if you check the "Keep running instances" check box when redeploying.
    If you do this and the new and existing composites are incompatible,  the deployment will simply fail.  When this occurs, you simply increase the version number, uncheck the check box and redeploy.
    That said, you might want to log in as an administrator into the Workspace and click the "Process Tracking" tab and see if your instances are in a suspended state and can be resumed.

  • BAM-00404: Authentication failed. User is marked inactive - BPM 11.1.1.6.0

    Hello experts!
    We have installed a brand new BPM Suite server with everything in the latest PS5 (11.1.1.6.0).
    We have successfully integrated User authentication with our Active Directory by creating an additional Provider in Weblogic. Such integrated authentication also works for Oracle BPM and the BPM Workspace.
    However, BAM is not working properly. Users can login to BAM, but after 5 minutes their users get flagged inactive by a background thread which can only be reverted by a System Administrator.
    The problem happens because we use Active Directory as the external authenticator and we do not use "cn" as the User Name attribute; instead we use sAMAccountName. We cannot change this setup though, as the AD is used in many applications across the company.
    We have followed all steps from document http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bam/technote-bam-multiplesecurityprovid-130532.pdf but the background check is still active. My understanding is that we either change the User Name attribute to "cn" or we must disable the background verification. We want to accomplish the later, but we have not been successful so far. I'm wondering if this is a bug in the latest version or if there's something else that should be set in this version.
    Does anyone have an idea which could help us?
    Thanks,
    Bruno

    We are experiencing the same authenication issue in Oracle BAM as described above and are also running on an installation with the latest PS5 (11.1.1.6.0). When logging in with a user from the active directory provider the user will be set to inactive. Note, we are also having the user name attribute set to "sAMAccountName", but adding the property in the jps-config.xml did not help.
    If anyone managed to resolve this authenication issue we would really appreciate to know your solution.
