  • Covnert Complex XML to Simple XML tags using Adapter Module

    Hi
    <buyer>
    <fnParty:partyIdentifier partyIdentifier="GER" partyIdentifierQualifierCode="SenderAssigned"/>
    </buyer>
    I want to convert above complex xml into following simple xml document
    <buyer>GER</buyer>
    I am writing adapter module. Could any one please tell me how to convert this
    Regards
    Sowmya

    Hi,
    Is partyidentifier is source xml and buyer in target xml?
    You can map the attribute to buyer element in message mapping itself.
    Why do you want adapter module?
    Thanks,
    Beena.

  • Newbie trying to analyze code for xml tags

    My problem is that I need to find what xml tags my java files contain. Is there a way to run a search and pull out all xml tags? Thank you.

    you mean you have to find xml tags in .java file. you have to write a program that will read the contents of file and then check for any string that contains < and ends with >. U can use LineNumberReader class for reading a line. besides these u have to take care of comments.

  • XML Tag in PHP Not Printing

    Hello Guys,
    I am using PHP 5 version and trying to print simple xml tag but its not wotking. The tag is echo '<markers/>'; . If i remove '>' i,e echo '<markers/'; its working fine. What could be the reason ?
    Thanks,

    Reason is quite simple. If your output does not start with <?xml ...?> (it probably does not) then browser undrstands and interprets it as HTML tag. So if you use "view page source" your tag will there.

  • Create xml tag dynamically within simple transformation

    Hi all together,
    I'm faceing the following problem:
    There is a internal table provided, consisting of name/value-pairs. Something like
    ls_struc-name = 'NAME1'.
    ls_struc-value = 'XYZ'.
    append ls_struc to lt_struc
    ls_struc-name = 'CITY1'.
    ls_struc-value = 'Munich'.
    append ls_struc to lt_struc
    and so on.
    I have to create this XML (with simple transformation):
    <NAME1>XYZ</NAME1>
    <CITY1>Munich</CITY1>
    Everythings works fine so far (tables, values etc.), but I have problems with creating the XML-Tag, e.g <NAME1> from "$line.name" within the transformation. I don't have any information about the data structure (therefore "call transaction id" does not work).
    Any hint is useful!!!
    Best regards,
    Thomas

    We are currently working on better BI Graph bean xml documentation, so today all you have is the graph.dtd which is located in the bigraphbean.jar.

  • How to create simple XML database in oracle 11g

    Hi,
    what are the steps to followed to create a simeple custormer XML database.
    Like storing .xml file into XMLType, writing simple xml schema.....like that
    how to register the .xsd
    how to insert the xml data
    how to querying the the data base with xquery
    Thanks in Advance

    Have a look a the FAQ on the main page of this XMLDB forum. That's a good source to start (besides the XMLDB Developer Guide manual).

  • Remove XML tags from XML element in Oracle

    Hi,
    I have a requirement where I have to remove all the xml tags from xml element with banks, currently I'm using replace 4 times to replace all different types of xml tags, performance is really bad. is there any better option to remove xml tags from xml data leaving the actual data. please find the example data below.
    select
    TO_CLOB(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE
    ('<Concatcolumn><ConcatGroupID>MyText Data goes here </ConcatGroupID><ConcatGroupID>Data agian</ConcatGroupID></Concatcolumn>','<ConcatGroupID>'),'<Concatcolumn>'),'</ConcatGroupID>',';'),';</Concatcolumn>')) AS Concatcolumn
    from dual
    **************Out put*************
    MyText Data goes here ;Data agian

    One way is to use xquery:
    SQL> with t as
    select xmltype('<Concatcolumn>
                          <ConcatGroupID>MyText Data goes here </ConcatGroupID><ConcatGroupID>Data agian</ConcatGroupID></Concatcolumn>'
       ) xml from dual
    select xmlquery('string-join(//text(), ";")' passing xml returning content).getclobval() xml from t
    XML
    MyText Data goes here ;Data agian
    1 row selected.

  • Extracting XML tags and its values using ORACLE PL/SQL

    I need help to create a procedure that receive a XML string and insert it into the table after parsing it.
    If the XML has 10 tags then it should insert into the table 10 rows. Table will be having tag name and value. This will be plain XML tags without attributes in tags.

    Hi,
    I am able to retreive the values of the tags using extract function (example: lv_xml.EXTRACT ('/ROWSET/EMPLOYEE/EMPNO/text()').getstringval() ). But could you help me to find some way to extract the tags also since we have no idea what the tags are and how many tags are there, in advance.
    Anybody's help will be a releif!
    Thanks in advance,

  • Unallowed RFC-XML Tag (SOAP_EINVALDOC) - Web Service using ABAP Proxy

    Hi there
    I am trying to consume a Web Service using ABAP Proxies.  I have done the following in the system:
    I configured the HTTP and HTTPS Proxy settings.
    I created a package with package interfaces SAI_TOOLS and SAPPINT included under the Use Access tab.
    I created the proxy classes by using the WSDL provided by the system I'm trying to interface with.
    I created my HTTP destination RFC via SM59.
    I configured a logical port for the proxy.
    I developed the ABAP code for calling the proxy.
    In the code the exception CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT gets raised with error message <b>"Unallowed RFC-XML Tag (SOAP_EINVALDOC)"</b> when I call the method for passing data to the destination system in the proxy class.
    I had a look at SM21 and the following message was written in the log:
    <b>"SOAP Runtime: SOAP Runtime exception: 111 occurred in method XP_READ_TAG of class CL_SOAP_XP at position 1
    SOAP Runtime: Exception message: Unallowed RFC-XML Tag (SOAP_EINVALDOC)"</b>.  I also looked at SAP Note 919886 which states that it can be dumps in the system, missing configuration or the path prefix of the RFC destination that is incorrect.  I cannot find any ST22 entries.  The trace file looks as follows:

    Hi,
    I have the same problem as described.
    Can you give me a little more information about the error you have solved in the proxy.
    Thanks for help

  • Want to include ?xml tag and  schema when creating XML

    My database table that need to be generated in to XML are large and therefore I must use OracleXMLQuery.getXMLSAX . The output is missing the <?xml version="1.0" ?> tag. How do I get it? I am on 9i but have imported the .jar containing oracle/xml/parser/v2/XMLSAXSerializer from 10g XDK.
    Also, I want the schema to be written next, before the actual XML table values.
    I know that a command line parameter exists, which works for small XML files:
    java oraclexml getxml -user "scott/tiger" -withDTD "select ....
    How do I get the equivalent of '"-withDTD" when using
         OracleXMLQuery qry = new OracleXMLQuery(conn, "select * from "+table_name );
         qry.getXMLSAX(myStream);
         myStream.flush();
    Thank you,
    Elaine

    No. Actually, I can get the <?xml tag and DTD if my select statement contains 'where rownum=0', as the resultset is small which lets me use getXMLMetaData() .
    I write it to one output file, then do another OracleXMLQuery, repeating the select statement without the where clause, and run that through getXMLSAX to get the detail.
    Next, I need to scrub the data of special characters acceptable in the database but which cause problems to a browser or XML validator. (e.g. accented characters).
    Finally, I will concatente the two files.
    Is there a simpler way to do this?
    Thanks,
    Elaine

  • How to filter particular xml tag value using -DBMS_XMLGEN / DBMS_XMLSTORE

    Hi,
    I am using dbms_xmlgen and dbms_xmlstore package to extract xml datafile tag value from file server to oracle database table.
    I have used the below pl/sql program to extract the xml tag values to oracle relational table.Its working fine for me.
    But I would like to extract the values based on particular filter condition.
    The following xml program I have 3 rows I would like extract the xml data based on the following condition .
    Filter condition
    ==============
    the tag <STATE_ABBREVIATION> value shuold be 'CA' and the <CITY> tag value should be Palo_Alto then I will store the ZIPCODE
    ZIP_CODE_EXTN,STATE_ABBREVIATION tag values in the Oracle Relational table.
    The below pl/sql program storing all the three rows but I required the values based on the filter condition that I mentioned earlier.
    Kindly assist me what are the steps that I need to change in this program.?
    XML Program file content.

  • Creating a very simple XML-driven gallery

    Hi, I'm learning XML in AS3 and I am having real trouble finding a resource that can help me learn how to build a very simple XML-driven picture gallery.
    I am working in an FLA file with AS3, with a dynamic text field with the instance name "textfield". I also have a UILoader Component with the instance name "UILoaderComponent" and an XML file called "rootdir.xml".
    I have an XML file in the following format.
    <images>
         <imagenames>
              <name>image1</name>
              <name>image2</name>
              <name>image3</name>
              <name>image4</name>
              <name>image5</name>
         </imagenames>
         <imagepaths>
              <path>image1.jpg</path>
              <path>image2.jpg</path>
              <path>image3.jpg</path>
              <path>image4.jpg</path>
              <path>image5.jpg</path>
         </imagepaths>
    </images>
    I am using the following as my actionscript.
    var xmlLoader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
    var xmlData:XML = new XML();
    xmlLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, LoadXML);
    xmlLoader.load(new URLRequest("rootdir.xml"));
    function LoadXML(e:Event):void {
    xmlData = new XML(e.target.data);
    parseImg(xmlData);
    function parseImg(imgLoad:XML):void {
    var imgChild:XMLList = imgLoad.images.children();
    for each (var imgTrace:XML in imgChild) {
    trace(imgTrace);
    No matter which way I experiment, I always have poor results with my dynamic text, and every tutorial I've followed does not reproduce anything like the same returned data in "textfield" that it does with the trace command.
    My objective is: I simply want to build a menu inside a textbox called "textfield" that lists images1-5, and when clicked, calls upon the relevant image. For instance: I load the file "rootdir.xml" into the file "index.fla". I call a function to parse the XML into a dynamic text box called "textfield". When image 2 is clicked on the textbox "textfield", it would call upon a function that would load into the UIComponent Loader "image2.jpg".
    Are there any tutorials for this? I'm so confused as to why dynamic text operates so differently from the trace command. I'm not interested in doing a fancy menu bar with thumbnails, scrollbars and animations, I just want to learn the basics.

    I don't really see how you are getting a valid trace out of that code (I get nothing if I try it as is), but as far as the textfield goes, you haven't shown any attempt in your code that might help to point to why you cannot get the text into a textfield.  It might be a problem with how you are trying to write to the textfield and not how your are manipulating the data.
    While you could make use of a textfield for the menu, doing so is not straightforward, as you would need to implement htmlText with special coding in order to have the text clickable.  You might consider using a List component or ComboBox instead.
    What I always do when I am working with xml is to store the data into a data structure, usually an array conatining objects, and then make use of that structure rather than dippng into the xml data itself when I utilize the data.
    Another thing, which rquigley demonstrated, is that your xml will serve its purpose better if the data for each image is collected under the same node.  If you have separate sections for each piece of data like you have, when it comes to editing it will be more prone to error as you have to be sure you are editing the correct entry of each separate group.
    I too am no expert in the world of xml, but I have not yet worked with parameters inside the tags, so I would usually structure it as...
    <images>
       <image>
           <imgName>image 1</imgName>
           <imgPath>image1.jpg</imgPath>
       </image>
       <image>
           <imgName>image 2</imgName>
           <imgPath>image2.jpg</imgPath>
       </image>
    </images>
    Now, back to what you have...  let's say you have a textField named imgText that you want to list the image names in.  The following should work, though I do not go my usual route of storing the data into an object array first...
    function parseImg(imgLoad:XML):void {
       var imgNames:XMLList = imgLoad.imagenames.name;
       var imgPaths:XMLList = imgLoad.imagepaths.path;
       // show name
       for each (var nameTrace:XML in imgNames) {
          trace(nameTrace);
          imgText.appendText(nameTrace +"\n");
       // show path
       for each (var pathTrace:XML in imgPaths) {
          trace(pathTrace);
          imgText.appendText(pathTrace +"\n");
       // show name and path
       for(var i:uint=0; i<imgNames.length(); i++){
          trace(imgNames[i].text()+"  "+imgPaths[i].text());
          imgText.appendText(imgNames[i].text()+"  "+imgPaths[i].text() +"\n");
