Unallowed RFC-XML Tag (SOAP_EINVALDOC) - Web Service using ABAP Proxy

Hi there
I am trying to consume a Web Service using ABAP Proxies.  I have done the following in the system:
I configured the HTTP and HTTPS Proxy settings.
I created a package with package interfaces SAI_TOOLS and SAPPINT included under the Use Access tab.
I created the proxy classes by using the WSDL provided by the system I'm trying to interface with.
I created my HTTP destination RFC via SM59.
I configured a logical port for the proxy.
I developed the ABAP code for calling the proxy.
In the code the exception CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT gets raised with error message <b>"Unallowed RFC-XML Tag (SOAP_EINVALDOC)"</b> when I call the method for passing data to the destination system in the proxy class.
I had a look at SM21 and the following message was written in the log:
<b>"SOAP Runtime: SOAP Runtime exception: 111 occurred in method XP_READ_TAG of class CL_SOAP_XP at position 1
SOAP Runtime: Exception message: Unallowed RFC-XML Tag (SOAP_EINVALDOC)"</b>.  I also looked at SAP Note 919886 which states that it can be dumps in the system, missing configuration or the path prefix of the RFC destination that is incorrect.  I cannot find any ST22 entries.  The trace file looks as follows:

Hi,
I have the same problem as described.
Can you give me a little more information about the error you have solved in the proxy.
Thanks for help

    Hi,
Curretly I am trying to test a Webservice on ECC 5.0, Oracle, Windows.
Below is the error that I am facing.

I have looked up on sdn, and also looked at note 919886.
I have read several posts regarding creation of RFC Destination in sm59 of Type G, to get over this issue.
But RFC Destination of type G is not available in ECC 5.0
Is the error because of incorrect URL mentioned in logical port,
I am unable to ping the host name mentioned in URL, looks like that machine is not in the network.
does it mean the wsdl is not located at that particular host.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,

After reading your post about the return code 404, I am in a dilemma whether, services in icman are unavailable or
the services at the location of the wsdl in the other server.
If you could clarify, it would be great.
    Thanks a lot.

  • Timeout to Web Services using via Proxy Server

    Hello,
I'm wondering if anybody can help.
I have a couple of preset web services on the coldfusion web server. As far as I know these have never worked since it's original installation back in June 2011.
Whenever I attempt to refresh one of the web services using CF administrator I am seeing the following error message:
    Unable to refresh webservice.
Unable to read WSDL from URL: https://www.****.cfc?wsdl.
Error: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect.
The server does not have a direct connection to the internet as it is connected to the internal company network which uses a proxy server for internet connectivity.
I am suspecting that CF is attempting to connect to the internet without the knowledge of the proxy server.
I have looked high and low but unable to locate anything in CF admin to add a proxy server.
I'm hoping somebody can reply with a simple solution to fix the above.
    Many Thanks,
    Andy

    Andy, two things.
First, the problem could be proxy-related, but I notice also that the URL has https. And in that you’re getting a connection timeout, it could be that the destination server (at that URL in the web service call) is set to only allow SSL calls (or perhaps even calls to that specific site, directory, or file) from a specific IP address. Try visiting that URL from a browser running ON THAT SERVER (where CF is installed). It does not good to test the URL from your local development workstation. That would not be the same IP address from which the request would come when run via CF.
Second, as for specification of proxy info, here’s something to consider: the CF Admin interface showing web services is populated by a call from within CFML code (using CFINVOKE/cfobject/createobject) invoking that web service. If you can find the code that is really calling the web service, you should find that you can specify the proxy info there. See:
    http://livedocs.adobe.com/coldfusion/8/htmldocs/Tags_i_10.html (cfinvoke)
    http://livedocs.adobe.com/coldfusion/8/htmldocs/Tags_m-o_14.html (cfobject)
    http://livedocs.adobe.com/coldfusion/8/htmldocs/help.html?content=functions-pt0_23.html (createobject)
Note that with createobject, you do it using a new (for CF8) argstruct. See the docs there for more, or my blog entry:
    http://www.carehart.org/blog/client/index.cfm/2007/9/5/cf8_hiddengem_createobject_argstruc t
Let us know if any of this helps.

  • Visual Composer - access Web Services using http proxy

    Hi,
I want to use an external web service in the Visual Composer. I set up the service in NWA -> SOA Management -> Destination Template Management.
I defined the http proxy in System Global Settings. The proxy requires authentication so I provided username and password.
When I want to access the web service in the Visual Composer the log file shows this:
com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (407) Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy service is denied.  ). The requested URL was:"myWSURL"
It seems that authentication is not performed although I provided the correct credentials. Using (internal) web services without the proxy works fine with the visual composer.
    Any ideas? Thanks, Kevin

  • Consume web service in ABAP proxy with SOAP header

    Hi Thomas ,
I am trying to consume web service in  ABAP . I have followed the procedure from one of your web blog <a href="/people/thomas.jung3/blog/2004/11/17/bsp-a-developers-journal-part-xiv--consuming-webservices-with-abap a Developer's Journal Part XIV - Consuming WebServices with ABAP</a> . (640 release).
I need to pass SOAP header along with SOAP body. As you mentioned I have used if_wsprotocol_ws_header interface to pass header but it is still failing.
Please see below code and please give some direction to fix the issue.
1.Create ABAP proxy for WSDL (http://ws.strikeiron.com/SwanandMokashi/StockQuotes?WSDL). It has created structures only for SOAP body.
    2.Create Logical port
3.Create following program to call proxy

    DATA: ref_stock TYPE REF TO zzco_stock_quotes_soap ,
          ws_header TYPE REF TO if_wsprotocol_ws_header,

    Hi
1.- check adding the host of the Service to your etc\hosts file unix case, or your DNS in case you have one.
2.- Add the SOAP Action in the Logical Port Config (Obtain it from the WSDL info).
    Hope this help,
    Greetings.

  • Calling RFC-enabled function as web service using XI 3.0

    Hi,
I have a problem when trying to use web services (sending a soap-req. to XI 3.0 based on the generated WSDL from Integration Directory).
According to the message monitoring, all steps in the central pipeline executes just fine until the last step - CALL ADAPTER.
I don't think this is an authorization issue since I have tested the XIISUSER/pwd against the URL for adapter engine.
Seems to me that the problem is related to the msg sent to AE:
"HTTP response contains status code 401 with the description Unauthorized XML tag Envelope missing in SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension)"
    How to proceed from here?

    Hi Torstein,
<i>Seems to me that the problem is related to the msg sent to AE:
"HTTP response contains status code 401 with the description Unauthorized XML tag Envelope missing in SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension)"
    </i>
According to you, the problem occurs within the SOAP envelope. Does your incoming SOAP message looks like the one below here?
If that's not the case, then make sure your SOAP/Web Service client is sending a valid SOAP envelope/request (like the sample below) to XI.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>

I am not getting the consumer proxy output structue filled though the web service is successfully executed. I did the following steps.
    1. Created a webservice form RFC BAPISDORDER_GETDETAILEDLIST
    2. Created a consumer proxy for the above created WSDL document.
    3. Tested the service by executing the proxy directly by feeding the input in the XML (sales document and partner view). it is working fine
    4. Created a program to access the consumer proxy by passing the input(same input as per XML). I am not getting the output in the proxy output structure ( but I can see the RFC is successfully executed and having the right values in the debugging mode).
Is this the issue is due to the date fields (XML cannot consider a blank date )?
Please note: the partner output table parameter in the bapi (output I am looking for ) is not having any date fields.
Please help me to sort out this issue.
    Thanks,
    Gopi

    Hi Gopi,
From your description, I assume you used the SE37 transaction's menu option Utilities -> More Utilities -> Create Web Service -> From the Function Module, to expose the BAPI concerned as a Web Service.
If this is the case, then it is possible that you are falling foul of your SAP User ID not having the necessary Remote Function Call authorization to execute the BAPI.
A prerequisite for successfully calling an RFC-enabled Function Module (which is what a BAPI is) is that the User ID used to call the function module must have the required RFC authorization (Authorization Object S_RFC).  For example, when calling function module BAPI_CUSTOMER_GET_ROOT, if the User ID lacks the requisite authorization in the target system, the following error message will be received by the Consuming application:
User <User ID> has no RFC authorization for function group V02HBAPI.
Notice, as you can see from the above message, RFC execution authorization is implemented at the Function Group level, not at the Function Module level.  In othere words, granting a user the authorization to a function group (authorization object S_RFC) enables the user to execute all RFC-enabled function modules contained within that function group.
I am guessing the BAPI works for you in debug mode because you are not calling the BAPI remotely.
Let me know if this helps.
    Best Regards,
    Andy.

  • Is it possible to call an external web service using ABAP?

    Hi~~
I wonder that is possible to use an external web service in SAPGUI using ABAP without PI ( Process Integraion ).
The external web service means the service that is developed by web-language like ASP.NET.
    Thank you.

    hi,
i'm trying to study on how to use the oracle bi publisher using another client application aside from oracle. the client application is custom and uses a .Net framework. unfortunately, i am not familiar with how .Net sends requests to oracle bi publisher so i was thinking that may be i can just create oracle pl/sql stored procedures that can send this requests over to bi publisher.
p.s. when you said concurrent manager, i'm not sure if you are referring to oracle apps concurrent manager but if you are, unfortunately i won't be using oracle apps with bi publisher.
    thanks

  • Consuming stateful web service via ABAP proxy

    Hi all,
I´ve got the following scenario. I´ve a ABAP proxy generated based on a WSDL file. The provider is a WebService provided by a tomcat server. (no PI etc. as middleware). The problem i´ve now is that the webservice is stateful so I need a stateful communication between my ABAP report (client) and the Web Service.
I´ve already found the possibiliy to switch on the feature "Session-Oriented Communication" on "Preconfiguration Tab" of the ABAP Proxy Screen. But unfortunately it´s not working.
Anybody knows whether general system settings has to be changed for this. Or anybody has other tips.
I´m currentliy working on the SAP Discovery System v3 which is a Netweaver 7.0.
Many thanks in advance for your answers,
    Andy

  • Get error "SoapFaultCode:1"Consume web service in ABAP proxy

    Hi All,
I created a proxy and logical port to consume a BOBJ Data Service' webservice, when I tested the proxy I get exception:
    SoapFaultCode:1 without further more information.
    the wsdl is @ http://nspad372.dmzpal.sap.corp:8080/DataServices/servlet/webservices?ver=2.1&wsdlxml
and the endpoint of that webservice is@ http://cnst50052835:8080/DataServices/servlet/webservices?ver=2.1
By using SOAPUI I can successful call that webservice, but with ABAP proxy not. Can someone give me a help?
    thanks& bst regards,
    Bin

    Hi
1.- check adding the host of the Service to your etc\hosts file unix case, or your DNS in case you have one.
2.- Add the SOAP Action in the Logical Port Config (Obtain it from the WSDL info).
    Hope this help,
    Greetings.
