Oracle EAM Work Request Sequential Approval process

Can anyone confirm Oracle has standard functionality of sequentinal apprvoal process for eAM Work request.
Our current Oracle eAM project has requirement of multiple approver for Work request. Multiple approver means sequential approval process. After first approver approves it should go to second approval and continues.
I know Oracle eAM Work order has sequential approval process, but i want to know the same funcionality available for Oracle eAM work request as well. If Oracle has the functionality please provide the details. If Oracle doesnt have the functionality please let me know if this can be achived using Customization.
We are using Oracle R12 version.

Hello,
Work Requests do NOT use AME. Only 1-level approval is possible with Standard Functionality; NOT multi-level
Work Request Approval needs :
1. Oracle Workflow
2. Department Approver functionality
Here are the steps:-
1. Go to EAM parameters window. Under Work Request region uncheck the Auto Approve flag.
2. Define Primary Department Approver (Setup > Department Approver)

• Not dependent on EAM Parameter : Enable workflow for work orders.

Self registration request and approval process

We are looking to implement self-registration with a bit of workflow when we move to Portal 10.1.2 A system where a user requests access, their request is approved (or denied) by another person and then an account is created with appropiate permissions.
We are currently using an Excel spreadsheet e-mailed back and forth, we have begun designing the process with standard forms and reports in it's own schma, but the last piece will still need to be manual (creating the account).
Does anybody know of a way to automate this process of account creation?
Does Application Server 10.1.2 self-registration have similar capabilities? if so, where could I look to learn what it can do?

By design, eAM Work Request would be routed to Department approver (Department is populated on Work Request).

My Requirement is performing actions on inbox items. indetail iam using Sequential Approval processing.in First sequence (2 approvers), 2nd Sequence(2 approvers).
if any one of the from sequence1 performing the Action "Approverd" the inbox item not avilbel for 2nd Approver in sequence1.it would be avilbel to 2ng Stage Approval inbox iteam level based on Creteria.its working fine..... My Scenario is if any one of Approver in any Sequence(Stage). perform the action "Rejected" or "Recived" the Inbox Item is not avilble to other Approvers in the same sequence(stage). but it would be avaiable in other approvers inbox iteamsin same sequence. plese let me know how to achive this.

I am finding eAM to be pretty interesting in the asset intensive environment. My implementations in shopping mall, metal and plastic manufacturing are quite interesting. It simply depends upon how you configure the system. It is a good package in my opinion

Request Approval Process exception in OIM 11g

Hi,
We have upgraded oim 9.1 to oim 11.1.1.5 and we did not have any request approvals in oim 9.1.
Now we are using oim 11g to develop request approval process. We have tried to raise a request for "Provisioning Resource" - Application Access and "Assign Role" - Business Role Request in OIM 11g environment. Both the Requests are failing with the same exception as below,
Error:
IAM-2050014:An error occurred while initiating approvals for request oracle.iam.platform.workflowservice.exception.IAMWorkflowException: Tasklist mapping failed for workflowdefinition: default/DefaultRequestApproval!1.0 due to javax.naming.NamingException: String index out of range: -1. The corresponding error message is {1}.
Any idea on the above error?

Approval Process doesn't work correctly

When this request approved by all participants of the approval process, Resource do not in provisioned status! In the resource history only - System Validation status Pending!!!

I resolved this issue but not complitly. I checked Auto Save Form check box on Process Form and its worked.
But I do not need Auto Save, because on child table attrubute i don't have any prepop adapter so it always been unpopulated during direct provisioning....
How to solve this new issue???

"Ask to buy" and "Sign in to Approve" process is not working

Last weekend I setup Family Sharing for the first time, but the "Ask to buy" and "Sign in to Approve" process is not working. I am the Family Organizer and I created an account for my child under 13 with "Ask to buy" enabled. My child can go in to the App Store, click "Buy" for a desired app and I get a notification on my iPhone 5s... as expected. When I open the Notification I have the option to Decline or Approve. If I select Approve, a box pops up asking me to enter the password for my child's iCloud account to complete the request. (It seems odd to me that I'd have to enter his password instead of my own, but whatever.) So I enter his password and the box goes away for a second and then comes right back like I typed it wrong or something. I enter it again and again and always the same box comes back and the request is never completed. We've tried this several times over several days and always see the same behavior. I have also tried entering my password instead of his (since that makes more sense to me) but I encounter the same problem.
I have verified that I am signed in to my iCloud account and my iTunes account on my iPhone 5s. I have also verified that my son is logged in with his iCloud/iTunes account on his iPod touch, so why isn't this working? Additionally, if I disable "Ask to Buy" then I can successfully install apps on his iPod from the iPod itself.
Is it normal for the "Sign in to Approve" box to show his iCloud address instead of mine? And if so, why doesn't it complete when I enter his password? Am I missing something completely? This is driving me crazy.

How to create Request programmatically to trigger Approval Process

My scenario is dificult... I need to start Approval Process when the user want to assign AD Resource to other user without Request service. So I want to create Request programmatically from Event Handler to start Approval Process for Provision Resource request type.
Is this right Way?

If you talk of request, you will have to use RequestService. You can use code to work with the RequestService to create the request and the approval for you.

Approval Process configuration in Change Request Management

Hello Gurus
We are currently configuring Change request management. We successfully activated charm, we are now working on approval process of change request management.
I am following the following sim for the approval process configuration:

Can any one please assist us by guiding us on the following things?
1. From BASIS point of view we have assigned roles to each user as employee e.g. developer charm (SAP_SOAM*) role to developer user\employee in solution manager, still when we are creating tickets then we cant see the options like in development, in process etc
2. We are going forward with the default settings can any one tell us if we need to do something extra to get all those options activated like in process, in development etc
I am in mid of these configuration settings; please assist me asap if possible.

I have used BP to create and process change request. Only confused with the standard process and where to look for the change documents, thats the reason i couldnt see the requests and change their status.
I just want to know if you have customized any thing in to the standard configuration, say for e.g. if you want to add your own actions like in maintenance cycle after requests been released in development if you want to import automatically in QA which happens in case of Urgent corrections. What I need to do if I have to do such settings or change it in my standard configuration.
How can I change this standard configuration? Anyone has done such kind of customization?

Office Home and Student 2010 has stopped working Unspecified Error has occurred. Request cannot be processed at this time. Please try again later ( 0x8007000D )

My office is saying its an unlicensed product and it prompts me to re install. It come up with Microsoft Activation Wizard then when I select to activate software via the internet an error comes up saying:

Please can you help me? I have tried pressing shift and right click an using system administrator but still not working. I've called the UK helpline and have been cut off twice after repeating myself to the person on the other end. May be easier

This error can indicate a permissions issue in the registry and/or other operating system issues.
Here is a
blog post which descripts some fixes to this specific error:
Check the Device Manager first to determine whether the issue was caused by an underlying operating system issue.
If it's not an issue with the operating system, try the rest steps descripted in the blog to troubleshoot the issue.

Oracle EBS drill link targets for EAM Work Order and Asset

Hi All - I am running Oracle EBS 12.1.3 and OBIEE 11g and I'm trying to link from OBIEE to EBS, but struggling to find the target functions / parameters to provide a direct URL link to EBS EAM Work Order and Asset. I have successfully linked to a Purchase Order View page, I would like to find the similar for EAM Asset and Work Order.
I can see some parameters in WorkOrderDetailsPGCO but can't seem to work out how to get to the page from a URL.
For reference MOS Note 555254.1 has some details, but not for EAM.
Has anyone provided users in any reporting system with a link to EAM Work Order or Asset page and if so how were the links generated?

I am giving this a bump as I really need some help with this. Is I run the SQL with TOAD or SQLPlus it seems to consistently runs fine, The problem seems to only be from APEX. I think it has do to with the non-persistent state.

I have created two different approval workflow and have tested individually. Now I am looking for an answer of how to call the second approval process once the first finish for the same request.

This would ensure that your approval processes would run in serial manner for a single request.
