I was doing the oracle apps R12 installation and got this error

I think my linux was corrupted :(
I've done fresh linux installation and after that the R12 installation is complete without any issues :D

RW-50011: Error: - Apps ORACLE_HOME connection test has returned an error: 3should i create a applmgr useDepends whether you want to have multi-user installation or not.
For multi-user installation, you need to create applmgr account (use the same command you use to create oracle user). To run Rapid Install, log in as root user and run Rapidwiz.
For single-user installation, oracle account would be enough. To run Rapid Install, log in as oracle user and run Rapidwiz.
For more details, check "Oracle® Applications Installation Guide: Using Rapid Install Release 12", "Create Operating System Accounts" section.

Hi:
I started to installing R12 on XP this morning and it stops right now at Validate system configuration: HTTP, Virtual Directory, Login Page, Help Page and JSP are all failed.
Two listeners are up, DB is up, IP address in ipconfig and hosts file are the same.
Two listener names are Oracle_VIS_db111_RDBMSTNSListenerVIS and OracleTNSListenerAPPS_VIS, are they right?
There is one thing wired this time: I was prompted (don't remember exactly) "JS2 is blocked, do you want to unblock it." twice and I said yes to unblock during the installation.

but dont know where found apache http server and where can be started?

Thank You ..What version of client are you trying to install? I'd go with 11.2.0.2 to rule out any known issues with the OUI.
11202 is available on MOS. If you don't have Oracle Support to be able to access MOS, 11201 is available in the downloads section on OTN.

Resolution:
This was a tough one. I referred many posts related to c3p0 in the spring / hibernate community, but none of the options resolved this in my environment. I even changed the app server to Glassfish 2.1 from Apache Tomcat, but to no avail.
Upon some experimenting with the MySQL database instance created by the default script (bundled with Sun RoleManager), I found that the userID used to connect to the DB did not have privileges to perform any operation. I gave permissions to the default DB user id and the error got resolved.
# mysql -u root --password

mysql> use mysql;
mysql> desc user;
mysql> select *** from user where user='rbacxservice';
The results of the above command showed that the user 'rbacxservice' did not have any privileges even to select rows. I granted the privileges (using the commands given below). For some reason, three instances of the user were available in the DB. I granted privileges for this user in all the three instances.

P6v7 Web Services Oracle Universal Installer Error Setting Java_Home veriab
Hi,
I am installing Primavera P6 v7 web serivces on a Ms Windows 2003 SP2 server machine but it gives error "error setting Java_Home environment variable" every time i run the oracle universal installer setup of P6 v7 web services. I have already installed Java JRE1.6.0_14 and set the JAVA_HOME variables in both system and user variables. I have also tried manually setting path of JAVA during setup but no luck so far everytime same error. I have been looking at the log file in oracle inventory folder but did not find any hint to resolve the issue.
Please suggest a solution or workaround.

ANY IDEAS?nevermind, I figured it out... I remembered that I plugged in the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID as environment varables before the installation last time. After doing that, the installation worked.

Getting an error while installing oracle 10g release 2 on CentOS 5 (Linux Distribution)
Installed prerequisite RPM's:
-compat-db-4.2.52-5.1.i386.rpm - sysstat-7.0.2-1.el5.i386.rpm - libaio-devel-0.3.106-3.2.i386.rpm - libXp-1.0.0-8.1.el5.i386.rpm
And after making all changes to:
* Kernel Parameters * Setting Shell parameters * pam.d (login file) * centos/redhat release and profile files * created required groups and users.
Created path: /u01/app/oracle/product/10.1.0/db_1 (OFA Compliant) and copied .zip file in to it (Tried with a different path as well : install folder).
Unzipped the zipper file with 'oracle' user but getting an error while trying to run installer file (runInstaller)

Oracle Universal Installer Error when Installing Oracle database Software

we are installing SAP ECC 6.0 on Linux:Oracle, we start the installation fine until we reach the oracle software installation step. we login as ora<sid> then set the DISPLAY variable setenv DISPLAY 192.168.1.155:0.0
The csh shell is the one that is being used we find this after executing echo $SHELL, when we execute echo $DISPLAY it returns 192.168.1.155:0.0.
When we run ./RUNINSTALLER it then returns Failed the DISPLAY variable is not set correctly, to check if it working execute xclock, we run that and it displays the clock.
what could be the problem with this installation.I am trying to install Oracle 10g on Suse Linux and I am getting the

I am trying to build an installer here and under additional installers I selected to install MAX 5.3.3 - the installer builder is asking me to locate the installer for System Configuration 5.3.3 but I can not locate the source installer.

This then put the installer on my HD - of course the installer didn't install any software, since I had it already, but the installer folder was then what the Additional Installers was looking for when doing my build.

9iAS 1.0.2.2/Portal 3.0.9 - Installation Error at "Portal Configuration Assistant"
I was installing the iAS1.0.2.2 and at the Portal Configuration Assistant, at the 23% I received the following error:
"An unexpected error ocurred during the Install Process. Check the install.log ....."
(FYI this is the second time I try to install it and in both cases I received the same error at the same point, so I decided to ask for help)

Errors encountered in the Install process. Installation Aborted

I noticed during the installation, before the Configuration Assistant (aprox at 97%), the installation opened a DOS session and I could see some errors with some Indexes but I don't know in which Log are registered. maybe it can help to troubleshoot my above problem?

Tks in advance!There has been some confusion around certification on SE over the past week. I want to clarify the situation.
We discovered an issue with the Portal on SE last week. We inadvertently used function based and bitmapped indexes (EE only features). This issue has been masked to date because the install proceeded normally after the errors were raised. In 3.0.9 we made the install more strict in that it will stop by default if it hits an unexpected error.
On further research, we have determined that these errors have little or no impact on the general functioning of the product and as such are maintaining the position that Portal 3.x is indeed certified on 8.1.7
Standard Edition.
There is unfortunately a necessary work around to the install issue (which we will rectify as soon as possible). In order to install on SE, you must execute the Oracle Portal Configuration Assistant (OPCA) from
the command line and specify the "verbose" mode (see next post). In this mode, the errors are ignored and the install proceeds appropriately.
