Oracle Weblogic 10.2 + jdk1.5.0_22 do not open up the SSL Port

Hi!
I got a problem with one Instance of weblogic.
I tried to open the SSL and it do not open up the Port on the Server.
I tried the Standart 7002 and also the 7004 both are not working.
There is no Message in any log about the Port or Problems to open it.
in the config.xml this Part where added by hand, cause it was not in there.
<ssl>
<name>abc_adm</name>
<enabled>true</enabled>
<listen-port>7002</listen-port>
</ssl>
I have sevrel other instances where it all works fine.
I remember in the back of my head that there was something mentioned about some problems in the starter course which I visited about 1 1/2 year ago.
Thanks in advance.
Sascha

    Hi!
It seems that something went wrong with your db (instance crash with database file corruption or corruption in the control file. If you just installed the database you could save yourself a lot of trouble by just running the dbca and create a new database.

  • Unable to see the SSL port in the Oracle Enterprise Manager

    Hi,
I followed the step for SSL setup in the given link Re: Tech Note : SSL Setup for Oracle AS B2B
When I open the Oracle Enterprise Manager console, I am not able to see the SSL port. I found that Accessibility Mode is Disabled. Please help me to enable the accessibility mode and also to find SSL port.

I tried giving the ssl ports 1810 - 1829. it did not work out. I am trying to access the URL https://localhost:1829/b2b/transportServlet. Any one has idea about how to enable the SSL port in the Oracle Enterprise Manager.

    Hi Abdul,
Before running the report select the particular "inventory organization" and then run the report.
It seems you were directly running the report without selecting the Inv org.
    Please try again.

  • Configuring Apache HTTP Server with Oracle Weblogic Server plugin

    Hello friends,
I have a scenario of OIM 9.1.0.2 on Oracle Application Server 11g and Weblogic Server Apache HTTP Server.
Oracle WebLogic Server is configured in cluster (node1 and node2), also use the Oracle Weblogic Server plugin for integration with Apache.
One of the tests is to lose one of the nodes for the apache plugin redirects the node that has less overhead.
When the mode is node1 and node2 stop start mode and try to access the management console of Oracle Identity Manager, the plugin sometimes redirects to the other active node, and on another occasion shows the oracle management console identity manager without the colors of the basic look and feel.
Deputy of the Apache HTTP Server log, do you expect your comments to solve this case?

"One of the tests is to lose one of the nodes for the apache plugin redirects the node that has less overhead."
Note that the plug-in does a round robin load balancing, for example, in the case of three server (1,2,3) it does 1-2-3-1-2-3-1...
with server 3 going down it does 1-2-1-2-1...
An example configuration (with SSL off) looks as follows:

This is somewhat strange, do you have session binding turned off?

This could happen due to mime types (not really sure just a hunch). Here is a general story on this concept: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Properly_Configuring_Server_MIME_Types

  • I Am Trying to Install Oracle WebLogic under Snow Leopard

    Hello,
I am trying to install a Generic version of Oracle WebLogic App Server on my MacBook running Snow Leopard. The installation process asks for JDK selection
either a bundled JDK or a local JDK and one as to specify the location of the JDK.
I have tried to locate the JDK all over but have been unsuccesful. I would deeply appreciate it if anyone could point me to where the location of the JDK is under Snow Leopard, which will enable me to proceed with the installation of Weblogic.
    Thanks in advance !

    Take a look here

  • BEA Weblogic 10 MP3 vs Oracle Weblogic server 10 Rel 3

    Hello
Supposed to install other software that has requirement for application server Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.2. We have installed BEA Weblogic 10 MP3 and when trying to start appserver get:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: weblogic/Server
    Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: weblogic.Server
    at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:200)

    at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:251)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:319)
    Question:
    1. What is the difference between BEA Welogic 10 MP3 and Oracle Weblogic 10.3.2?
    2. Any ideas on the above error.
    Thanks

10.3.2 version is 11g by Oracle but then again so is any version 10 release. Although there are still several references to BEA in versions 10 it is all Oracle (and I think 9.2 and above it Oracle).
Are you trying to start your console or a managed server? Please provide more detail....

  • Oracle WebLogic Server 10gR3 Installation Query

I have Windows 7 (64-bit OS) & i'd like to install Oracle WebLogic Server 10gR3 (i know it's not the newest).
Would you please provide me with a link for downloading the suitable Weblogic Server package & net installer?

    Hi
Yes, you should download Weblogic Server 10.3.3 Generic Installer which is like a .JAR file (sometimes .zip but rename as .jar file). In the below link, for weblogic server 10.3.3 row, on right side, click on + icon (See All Files). There in the last column you will see 64 bit installer (wls1033_generic.jar).
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/wls-main-097127.html
Just refer online docs for 64 bit installation. Make sure that first you download 64 bit jdk (Sun or JRockit). Set this in PATH. When you run java -version, it should refer this 64 bit jdk. Then run command like java -d64 -jar wls1033_generic.jar (if -d64 do not work, try -D64). Basically generic installer for 64 bit will not have any JDK built in. You have to download it first and then use it for installing weblogic.

  • Eclipse + Oracle WebLogic Server Tools - stuck during publishing

    Hello,
I'm experiencing a problem publishing to my application server in Eclipse, and would very much appreciate any help given.
    Server: WebLogic 10gR3
    Eclipse: Ganymede JEE SR2
    Oracle WebLogic Server Tools: 1.2.0.200907171310
    OS: Windows XP 32 bit
    JVM: Sun 6u13
    In my workspace:
    - Several Java projects
    - Several EJB projects
    - Several web projects
    - One connector project
    - One EAR project, referencing all other projects as its JEE modules
    - One WebLogic server in my "Servers" view, defined to deploy my EAR project
    Summary of my problem:
Sometimes, and it seems pretty random, when starting the server - the "Publishing to Oracle WebLogic server" operation would never stop (can be seen in the "Progress" view). As a result, Eclipse is essentially stuck, as all other operations, such as saving a file etc', would not be performed since they would be waiting for the publish operation to complete.
I did notice that a trigger for this is a deployment failure, such as a badly-defined application-module-datasource, or a failed startup task, but I have also experienced this with a good deployment as well.
I am, literally, clueless. I have tried the new Galileo but it's too buggy, had some weird phenomenons there, and I have also tried the OEPE Galileo preview and got some weird phenomenons there as well.
Again, your help would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,

    Amnon,
    Try the Eclipse forum:
    Enterprise Pack for Eclipse
Also, the 11g Eclipse 3.5 support is out of Preview/Beta mode and you should be able to open support tickets on it:

  • Oracle weblogic 10.3 license information

We have purchased Oracle weblogic 10.3 from a vendor and have installed by the application team. I need to confirm how can i check the license information (information reg no.of users etc) after installation of the product in the windows server 2008. Is there is any log file which will have license details??

Oracle has removed the licensing which is bound to IP addresses long before itself.
From WebLogic Server 10.3 and higher, no license file (no license.bea) is required by Oracle. However, you should deploy the product only in environments which are bounded to your license. That is you should see that if you bought license for 8 cores, you are deploying it only in a 8 core environment and not more.
There are few notes on the support site related to this.
