    Hi,
I have a composite which looks like below.
JMS Adapter -------> Mediator -------> WebService
The JMS adapter will get a payload from a queue and push the same to the given webservice through mediator.
My Problem here starts when the given webservice is not available. The composite gets strucked when the endpoint is not available throwing me the below fault

Cause:Unable to access the following endpoint(s): http://10.103.96.161:8088/mockExceptionEventSOAP11Binding*
I thought of implementing retry logic through Fault Policies. But it is not working. I need to configure in such a way that the composite should retry to push the payload till the webservice comes ON(if fails human intervention should be made).
How can i achieve this ?? Isnt possible to handle exception in mediator level??

i test the soa webservcies in a browserHi,
It would help if you could give us more details...
What type of soa webservices are we talking about here (JAX-RPC/BPEL/OSB)?
And how exactly are you testing your soa webservices in a browser (EM)?
    A valid SOAP will have content-type: text/xml
You may be pointing to a invalid endpoint or you may have an authentication/authorisation problem, so you are receiving html instead of soap...

  • Exception javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFault when trying to invoke OBR

    Hi,
1 .I am have created a SOA Composite which has an OBR. I deployed that project and that was working fine.
2 .In Order to call the OBR service from another composite I have created another composite in which a web service(reference) adapter which is towards the right side of the composite shall call the web service of the OBR composite.
When I point the URL to the WSDL of the OBR web service, I get the error. The screenshot of the error is avbl at the following URL. http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/7015/37887205.jpg
3 .So I have manually saved the WSDL of OBR web service as a file and saved it in the proj that i mentioned in 2. Then I was able to create web service adapter with out any problem. Then I created a composite (screenshot http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/7826/30673557.jpg ) which calles the OBR web service and gets the reply.
    4. After deploying the composite, when I am trying to invoke the OBR service, I get the following error in the console of the Soa server.

    Hi,
The problem is solved now. While creating the WS adapter in Jdev, I have tried specifying the URL with the Ip address instead of server name. seems Jdev was not able to resolve the name of the server. Once I created composite with this and deployed the error got resolved.
    Thanks,

    Any idea about these problems???
Let me know if you need any more information.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
You are passing wrong Vector class parameter in the call.
Correct call should be of below type:
    submitRequest(java.lang.String p1, java.lang.String p2, java.lang.String p3, java.lang.String p4, boolean p5, java.util.Vector p6)
cpArgs should be of type java.util.Vector
    Regards,
    Sandeep M.

  • SOA 11.1.1.3.0 - Connection Pool has been suspended during weak load

    Hi,
I have a SCA with different BPEL, all uses several db adapters.
Each db adapter has retry count set to 1.
Each bpel has the following properties:
        <property name="bpel.config.transaction" many="false">required</property>
        <property name="bpel.config.inMemoryOptimization">true</property>
<property name="bpel.config.completionPersistPolicy">off</property>When I do a simple load testing (with 10 concurrent threads invoking the same SCA webservice) my connection pool is suspended.
Here is my connection pool configuration:

  • Calling secured web service, cross domain security

    Hey all,
I am trying to call a secured service, for which i need to enable cross domain security.
I have followed the steps described in
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/web.1111/e13707/domain.htm#i1176046
i.e. enabling trust between weblogic server domains.
    The problem is: -
User authentication is working fine, but i am not able to invoke the operation.
Here is the content of log file

    Thanks
    Nitin

    Thanks again Billy,
    I have configured a wallet with all the necessary certificates. Actually I have purchased a VeriSign trusted certificate and convert that into Oracle Wallet (p12) using openssl with appropriate password. And I'm calling UTL_HTTP.set_wallet('<path_to_wallet>','<pass_to_open_it>');
I have send my public key to them (web service company) and they need me to send my certificate with every request so that they can authenticate.
You are saying we don't have to write any code for TLS/SSL UTL_HTTP will take care of that, thats really good.
One more thing I want to mention here...
In Internet Explorer - When I am importing my certificate without my private key and trying to access web service I'm getting 404 page not found error.
But when I'm importing my certificate with the private key, I can see WSDL and all other methods offered by that web service.
I'm guessing Oracle Wallet that I'm creating with my certificate will store private key also. B'coz it is showing me User Certificate in Ready state.
ORA-00600 is not giving me proper location where I can find any error in my code.
    Thanks
    -Smith

  • How to get BPELFault from MediatorRecoveryContext?

    Hi,
In SOA Suite 11g I have implemented a custom FaultHandler (implements IFaultRecoveryJavaClass)
In my composite I have a Mediator calling a BPEL process.
The BPEL process throws a BPELFault.
Im my fault handler handleFault(IFaultRecoveryContext ctx) gets called.
In this case ctx is an instance of MediatorRecoveryContext.
How can I get the details of this BPELFault in my handleFault?
MediatorRecoveryContext.getFault does not seem to have the BPELFault.
    In EM I see:

    - there are no EJB3 scripts, only compiled application code
    - the part of the EJB spec that deals with databases is called the Java Persistence API, but likely you are just looking for the JDBC API.
Now you should know what to Google to get your "example script": "java jdbc oracle procedure"

  • Stopping DB-Polling-Adapter when failure in mediator

    Hi
I have a DB-Polling-Adapter that posts data directly to a mediator. When data is readed mediator does a logical delete, e.g 2 for field readstatus. So during reading readstatus is 9 and before 1.
When a failure happens in mediator (during xsl-transformation) mediator throws failure back to DB-Polling-Adapter. The problem is now that state of readingstatus is still 9 and after each polling sequence adaptor reads and posts same data again and the failure happens also.
Is there any posibility to send failure into error hospital and to set readstatus to 2, so that adapter doesn't poll the same data on and on? Catching mediator fault in fault-policies doesn't work.
I found two solutions: 1. Send data from Polling-Adapter to BPEL, 2. Sematron validation but it doesn't cover all posible failures.
    Example failure during transformaiton:
ORAMED-03303:[Unexpected exception in case execution]Unexpected exception in request response operation "execute" on reference "Convert_JDE-to-Common". Possible Fix:Check whether the reference service is properly configured and running or look at exception for analysing the reason or contact oracle support. Cause:oracle.tip.mediator.infra.exception.MediatorException: ORAMED-01201:[Error in transform operation]Error occurred while transforming payload using "xsl/F0006Collection_To_ProjectsCollection.xsl" for target part "reply".Possible Fix:Review the XSL or source payload. Either the XSL defined does not match with the payload or payload is invalid
    Thx a lot for help.
    Pascal

    Issue solved.
Setting jca.retry.count=unlimited causes the adapter to behave as we want.
We had set jca.retry.count = 1 on the mistaken understanding that this related only to a failure to query/poll the database, and that sequence number was updated in a separate context that needed a global transaction to coordinate/rollback.
We don’t even need to propagate our global transaction from polling adapter to bpel component since all our writes happen in an OSB transaction; Our bpel just (re)throws a fault back to the polling adapter which is enough to trigger retry.

  • Throw back same adapter fault - Mediator only composite

    Hi
    How are you doing!
I have a scenario where there is a Mediator and DBAdapter.
We are using fault policy to handle all faults.
Whenever there is a fault in DBAdapter, when handled using fault policy (to rethrow fault), Mediator is wrapping the original fault and giving its own fault(message below)
Is there a way to get back the same DBAdapter fault as the consumer of this service has to know what is the exact fault.
Please note that BPEL is not to be used in this case(as a design decision in the project), so this has to be achieved only using the Mediator.
I've also tried adding fault to WSDL's of DBAdapter and Exposed service WSDL manually, but no luck.
    Converted fault message

What is the version? By the way, this is not the right forum to ask this question. You should be asking it in the weblogic forum.

    Hi
I am working on the same example and came across the same error. I have tried re configuring the database and also re created the database adapter in JDeveloper. But it still shows up.
If you are following the tutorial, it says to set the name of the JNDI Name as "soademoDatabase". and not soademodatabase.
I entered this name first when I created the database Resource during Configuration for the sample application. and followed the name soademoDatabase whenever required.
when adding the DB Adapter in JDeveloper (step 3 Service Connection), it asks for the JNDI Name. I entered the JNDI name then

  • Mediator error handling

    Hi,
We are trying to achieve mediator error handling. We have a developed a composite with mediator which calls another service, which is deployed on server. Later we shut down the web service ,resulting in the error

Not sure why the retry is not happening and also I am not able to see any flow trace for the fault policy////
I want to know whether the fault policy is getting triggered or not??? where to check this??
Please let me know if somebody resolved this?
    Thanks,

  • SOA Composite Application Deployment Failed

I have created a composite SOA application and trying to deploy it on WLS. I have created a connection to the Application Server MyAppServerConnection. I right click the project name and point to Deploy, it gives the webservice name "validationForCC". it does not give anything further. It should give Deploy>to>MyAppServerConnection
I click the application name"validationForCC" and it opens the Deployment Configuration window. It asks for attach SOA Configuration Plan. Im not sure which Plan file to attach, JMS Plan or DBPlan. I try without selecting any.
In JDeveloper the moment it gives message of successful compilation but when i test it on EM console, it fails to run.
    There are 28 errors/warnings

These questions don't look like they are directly related to JMS, and seem more related to the tooling that you're using. I think you should try posting to a forum that's familiar with your environment. Perhaps you can choose a forum under "SOA & Process Management". Here's a link to the forum listing:
