Orange SPV M500- bluetooth -which modem to select?

HI everyone.
I'd be so grateful for any help anybody can give me to get my powerbook on line using my Orange SPV M500 phone/bluetooth.
I previously had an Sony Ericsson phone, and that always did this perfectly.
One big problem with the Orange phone seems to be that, as it's a pocketpcphonethingy, the compuer's bluetooth application won't recognise it as a phone. (I can successfully pair the devices using 'other' option, but then can't really do anything with it.)
I think perhaps the info i really need is maybe which modem to select in System Prefs/Bluetooth/Settings? Maybe once i get that data right, it'll work.
(The old ericsson phone used 'Ericsson Infrared' but there are no 'Orange' options in the menu, perhaps because this new phone isn't made by orange but by someone else? )
Many, many thanks for any advice anyone can give!
All best wishes,
Simon

The modem script you are looking for does not exist as a standard, included script. You can obtain one specifically intended for Orange GSM radios, just like the one in your PocketPC device, and use the program it ships with to customize the script.

    Please I know definitely that n97 have bluetooth and modem.I have one but i cant find them,please any help?

    Bluetooth is at Settings>Connectivity>bluetooth. For modem you have 2 options. First is to run Nokia Suite on your pc, connect phone to pc using usb cable and follow Nokia Suite menu. Second is to download an app called Joikuspot which will turn your phone into a hotspot.

    Hi Expert,
    I found that we can use Interface INavigationHelperService to read Portal Role selected by user at runtime from http://scn.sap.com/thread/52194
    But this class is available in SAP NetWeaver 7.30 Enterprise Portal .
    But in SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Enterprise Portal that interface is not available.

  • Identifying which line was selected from a WebDynpro table

    Hi,
    can any one give me some advice, I've created a view which displays a table of filenames, which in fact are "LinkToAction" columns. The idea was that when a filename(LinkToAction) was selected, I could retrieve the appropriate file from the Applicatio server and Open the file in Excel or Save as Excel. My problem is, when I select a filename I don't know how to identify what line was selected in the table. Any advice would be great.
    Thanks,

  • Blackberry as a Bluetooth Wireless Modem

    I want to set up my Blackberry 8703e as a bluetooth wireless modem. i have researched this and found many pages so far but still struggle putting the whole connection together. Has anyone done this? Any pro tips?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
    All indications are that the RIM Blackberry 8703e does not support the Bluetooth DUN profile required to enable dial up networking, or what some refer to as 'tethering' by Bluetooth. This Verizon-supplied chart specifically indicates that the Bluetooth DUN profile is not present on or support for your device:

  • Which modem should I buy?

    Hi all, I use my apple TC for my home network and this is plugged into a pretty basic netgear modem. I've recently had an internet issue and have identified that the problem is the modem so i'm after some advice as to which modem I should buy to replace it?
    It's only home use so don't need anything too flash!
    Any advice is great. (I'm in the UK by the way!)
    Thanks

    It might make sense to use the modem that your Internet Service Provider furnishes, or a compatible model that they recommend. That way, your service provider will be able to help you in the event of a connection problem with their service.
    Most providers will give you a modem at no charge if you commit to a year or more of service. Check around.
    You could buy the best modem in the world, but it would be of little value if you have a problem and your Internet Service Provider tells you that they do not support that model.
    I learned this the hard way. Hopefully, you will not have the same experience.

  • Which item is selected?

    Hello,
    In Dreamweaver CS3 we have a drop-down list in a form. When
    the user selects an element in the list, we need to determine which
    element was selected; specifically we need the text string of the
    selected element. How do you do this? The raw code that we have so
    far is attached.
    If there is an online tutorial or sample code for this, that
    would be great.

    The element or item that was selected is automatically placed
    in a form variable for you by CS3. You can access it by binding it
    to the screen you are calling.

    It is highly recommended to use the JDBC Driver for SQL Server 2005, even if you are using SQL Server 2000. In ODI's pre-populated lists, it is not there - you will have to (1) get the driver yourself, downloadable from the Microsoft site. (get the driver v1.2, not the 2.0, and use a JRE v1.5, 1.5 or 1.6. The 2.0 driver from Microsoft requires the JRE 1.6)
    (2) use the
    Driver: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver
    and the URL: jdbc:sqlserver://<myserver>:<myport, default 1433>;database=<mydb>;selectMethod=cursor
    these are not automatic, you will need to type them in.
    The database must be configured for connections from tcpip.

  • Html:checkbox - which box is selected and on in what tr

    I have a jsp in which I iterate over a LinkedList of people. Each person gets there own row in a table on the jsp page. In each row is the name of a person in the first <td> and then a checkbox in each of the next three <td>'s.
    A user may order one of three reports on any or each of the names coming from my LinkedList by clicking on a checkbox.
    Right now I am able to determine which report to order by which checkbox is selected in a row, but am unable to determine which row/person to order the report for.
    I've seached this forum and went through the first couple pages of results with no luck. And spent a bit of time on google but can't seem to get the exact keywords to retrieve the results I need.
    Here is a small sample of how I am setting up the table. Just a snippet, names have been changed, you won't be able to compile this.
    <logic:iterate id="person" name="someLogical" property="personsList" type="someDataObjectType">
         <tr>
              <td valign="top" nowrap>
                   <bean:write name="person" property="name"/>
              </td>
              <td align="center" valign="top">
                   //someForm is my actionForm, and orderReportOne is a boolean being set in the form
                   <html:checkbox name="someForm" property="orderReportOne"/>
              </td>
              <td align="center" valign="top">
                   <html:checkbox name="someForm" property="orderReportTwo"/>
              </td>
              <td align="center" valign="top">
                   <html:checkbox name="someForm" property="orderReportThree"/>
              </td>
         </tr>
    </logic:iterate>The booleans in my form are being set correctly but don't relate to a specific person. They would just order reportOne for each person in the list.
    Edit: I will be leaving soon for the rest of the day and may or may not be able to reply again until monday, but appreciate any responses. Thanks

    It depends on how you're utilising your XML, but ComboBox has selectedIndex property so that you can trace the index number of the item selected.

  • How can I check which JRadioButton is selected in whichTabbedPane?

    Hello,
    I have several TabbedPanes with a mass of JRadioButtons in one ButtonGroup. Now I search an easy way how I can find out which RadioButton is selected in which TabbedPane. With "getParent()" I can get a lot but not e.g. the name of the TabbedPane.
    Thanks for your help
    Arthur

    I'm not sure that it's what you want but you can do something like this:
    for the checked radio button to getParent and then
    to try
    int i = tabbedPane.indexOfComponent( checkedRadioButton );
    and if you know the indexing of your radionbuttons you can find, It's for sure not nice
    solution but it is the first what come to me ;-).
    Best regards.
