Order Combination without consolidation of planned GI dates

I am attempting to find a way to limit the combination of sales orders during delivery creation using VL10a, VL10g which have different planned GI dates.
Currently our system is combining orders which have the same route, sold to, order combination flag, and partial delivery requirement but it also combines similiar orders with different planned goods issue dates and reschedules the orders to have the same date.
Is there some way via configuration to avoid this?  If not where would be the appropriate place to enhance the combination requirement?
I see in copy control for deliveries the standard routine '051' is utilized in the combination requirement, however, I cannot get the system to stop at a breakpoint for this routine? (the same problem as the thread "How to modify criteria for sales order combination" which was posted earlier)
Any ideas are much appreciated.

Hi,
You can increase the lot size to club your demand requirements.  You can also try using period type lotsize to club daily, weekly, monthly requirements.

  • Order combination in Outbound delivery

    Hi,
I have a problem. We have a lot of Sales orders with different Sold-to-Parties but all have the same Ship-to-party so we want all the orders to be combined in to one delivery when creating the deliveries in VL10A. But that is not the case, I get one delivery per Sales Order. Do anyone know if it is possible to get them combined on the criteria that only the Ship-to-party should be same in the orders.
    Thanks for the help,
    /Ulrika

    Dear Hans
No standard will not allow only if Ship To party is same in all sale orders.  It will also see whether
    -  Inco terms
    -  Confirmed quantity date
    -  Transportation Group
    -  Shipping Point
    -  Delivery priority
are same in all sale orders.  Only then, you will get one delivery document.  Of course, as rightly said by Vamshi, you need to check the box "Order Combination" in Customer Master Sales Area Data under Shipping tab.
    thanks

  • Billing Plan Start Date not copied to Sales order from Service Contract

    Hi
We are developing a process of Creation of Service Contract and then a order confirmation.
Now based on the Order Confirmation will bill based on the Bill Plan.
The Bill plan start date in contract header is not flowing to Sales Order header while creating with reference.
Then navigating to Header Billing plan and if we input the date the billing plan dates are displayed.
We checked the copy control settings and seems like the date is not copied. Is this a standard behaviour.
If so then do we have any work arounds to achieve the same. Because the contract start date can change before confirmation.
So business wants a sales order confirmation to be created after contract creation and bill periodically as per the Sales order instead of contract.

    Hi,
Appreciate ur quick response. But instead of FKDAT i need the FPLA-BEDAT to be flowed to Billing Plan.Right now iam entering the following date manually at header.Instead if it copies from Contract header then manual entry could be neglected.
Is it possible with the same routine to code with the above mentioned FPLA-BEDAT.

  • Order GI date different from Delivery Planned GI date

Hi Gurus, I noticed on one order-delivery that the order's GI date (in the schedule line) is different from the delivery's planned GI date. What could be the cause of that?

    hello dear
System is nowhere stopping to change the planned GI date in billing. If orders schedule date is say 15.10.2007, i can change the planned GI date to 16.10.2007 and so the billing date also.

  • SAP PP (Production Planning) Master Data Definitions

SAP PP (Production Planning) Master Data Definitions and Transaction codes.

SAP PP (Production Planning) Master Data Definitions
    • Factory Calendar
    • Material Master
    • Resource • Bills of Material (BOM)
    • Production versions
    • Master recipe
Factory Calendar: The factory calendar is defined on the basis of a public holiday calendar. The public holiday and factory calendar is a central module in the SAP System. It is assigned to a specific plant during the initial system setup and therefore used in many areas (e.g. in Logistics and in Human Resources) in the system.
Material Master: Material master comprises if all the basic data of the material for each department. The data covers all the relevant information required for the transactional flow e.g. sales, Planning, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Costing etc. Material master covers all the descriptive and control data and the flow of information depends on fields maintained within it. The integration of all material data in a single database object eliminates redundant data storage. Material Masters are created once and can be changed or extended whenever required
Bill of Materials: Bill of Materials or commonly called BOM is a formally structured list of components that make up a product or assembly. The list contains the material number of the component together with the quantity and unit of measure. BOMs are used in their different forms in various situations where a finished product is assembled from several component parts or materials. Resources: Resources are production facilities and persons involved in a production process that have capacities. They are subdivided into categories to specify their suitability for certain purposes or their use in certain processes
Product Versions: A production version determines which alternative BOM is used together with which task list/master recipe to produce a material or create a master production schedule. For one material, we can have several production versions for various validity periods and lot-size ranges. The production version determines the following:
    • The BOM alternative for a BOM explosion.
    • The task list (master recipe) and any alternate, as needed.
    • Lot-size restrictions and validity parameters.
Master Recipes: A master recipe defines the following data that is required for the production of materials without relating to a particular order: processing steps, resources, material components, and control information for the process control level. Master Recipe enables to plan the production of materials (products). Therefore, Master Recipe is used as a template for process orders and run schedules as well as a basis for product costing. In a Recipe
    • The Phases (work steps) to be carried out during production.
    • The activities to be performed in the operations as a basis for determining dates, capacity requirements and costs.
    • The use of materials during production.
    • The use of resource.

  • Can "order combination" field be copied from ship-to party?

We want "order combination" field on sales order to be copied from ship-to party, not the sold-to party, is there any way to do so? Do we have to modify the user exit? anyway to do this, without modify the user exit?
    Thanks!

    Thank you for reply!
Business has customers with different ship-to parties. Some ship-to party requires 'order combination', other ship-to do not need 'order combination', so the businees users want to make this field copied from ship-to, instead of sold-to.
As I can see almost all business relevant data, for example, inco term, payment term, shipping conditions.... are all copied from sold-to party, by standard SAP. I am wondering is there anyway to make them to be copied from other partnership, when require. I know we can do this by modify the user exit, but just wondering is there anyway in configuration settings....& without program change, can achieve this?

  • Order combination in IS MILL

    Dear support,
I will explain my business scenario.
My client wants to convert the planned order in to partial production
Order then he wants to combine with another production order through the Order Combination concept(IS MILL)
    For ex
Sales order no 123 with the line item 10 has the qty of 100 kg.
Sales order no 456 with the line item 10 has the qty of 200 kg.
After MRP run, the planned orders are generated with 100 and 200 kg.
But my client wants to combine partial production qty as 50 kg from
Sales order no 123 and partial production qty as 100 kg from sales Order no.
This can be done only by entering the Order no in the MILL_OC
Now I got 2 production orders with 50 and 100 kg, which was in the CRTD status.
When I enter 2 production orders in the above transaction, am getting the error has u201CNO ORDERS SELECTEDu201D
    Note:
    1. I can able to achieve the same, if I enter the Planned order no in MILL_OC
    2. We are in ECC DIMP 604(Hence we can't able to apply the sap note 1070147
    Pls help

    Dear,
Order combination via the order combination you convert an item for a sales order into a production or process order.
In the combination, when you use a selection profile to create the combined order, the system uses the order type from the selection profile: Production -> Shop Floor Control -> Master Data -> Order -> Administer selection profile for the combination.
For the order combination,  selection profile  from the reference order if you do not use a selection profile.
When you create a combination, the system provides a flag "Select all" (F9) and reference order.
Please check your order type dependent parameter and selection profile.
Please refer this blog for details,

  • Regarding order reversal without affecting stock

    Dear all,
Issue is regarding the prod. order reversal without affecting stock of materials. Scenario is as follows.
I have an order of X matl. year 2011 - this order not yet delivered where as the raw materials has been issued by mb1b (261).
As this order not yet been delivered, it is showing in WIP with value. KKAX.
Afterwards user created second order and completed too. Now previous order reamined open without confirmation.
For removing ths order from WIP, we can reverse the 261 movement in current date, but it will also revert the raw matl. stock alongwith values to unrstricted.
Where as finance peoples doesnt want thew same.
Also as del. qty. is not 0, we cant apply del. flag too.
Please suggest the appropriate way to remove the previous order from wip without affecting the stock of materials.
Dont want to do changes in table entry also.
    with best regards,
    Manish.

    Hi,
    Thanks boss.
    It is working now correctly.
The issue is the  i_mvtit-XSTOB should be equal space in case of Goods issue while incase of Reversal it should be equal to X.
    Thanks for ur efforts.
    I had awarded you points.
    Thanks a lot.

  • HT1660 How can I maintain two separate itunes accounts on one single device without erasing either set of data?

How can I maintain two separate itunes accounts on one single device (iPhone 4) without erasing either set of data when syncing with itunes?

    Hi,
Depends on what you trying to setup but for purchases, you can roll down at the very end of the iTunes/AppStore pages to logout of your current account and then login into a different one.  Then your purchase will be billded to this new account.  Everything will sync as you used to but in order to use the purchased content in iTunes or other devices, you will need to authorize them (you can have up to 5 devices authorized for an account).

  • Using bapi_po_create1 to create PO with return item - Order Combination

    Hello,
There's a shipping tab that appears in a purchase return item, and in it there's a flag called Order Combination.
Only i can't seem to find a way to change that flag using this BAPI, nor using bapi_po_change.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you in advance.
    Duarte

    Hi
Its a setting that you maintain in the customer master reord that defaults it.
So if you want this to be flagged for some vendors and for some no flag the you need to maintain accordingly in the Customer master data  - Sales are data  Shipping tab
If you want it to be maintained through BAPI then populate the same in  POSHIPPINGEXP structure
    Thanks & Regards

  • When will EK02 appear in the Sales Order?? For different planning strategy?

    Hi Experts,
In our SAP system ,when you create a sales order with a material which planning strategy is
50 Planning without final assembly (MTO) , in the item detail screen , on the "Conditions"
TAB, we will see condition type EK02 and its value.
But when I create a sales order with a material which planning strategy is 40 Planning with
final assembly (MTS),in the item detail screen , on the "Conditions" TAB, condition type
    EK02 will not appear.
I have checked the customizing of our SAP system ,as follows:
For planning strategy 50, the Requirements class is "045"(MTO val. with cons.),and on the
configuration screen of Requirements class,we see "Condition type for copying costs from
line items" (CndTyLineItems) is null ,no value ,not "EK02".
And for planning strategy 50,the the Requirements class is "050"(Warehouse consumpt.) and
and on the configuration screen of Requirements class,we see "Condition type for copying
costs from line items" (CndTyLineItems) is also null ,no value ,not "EK02".
And on the configuration screen of Sale Order Type screen(VOV8), we see  "Condition type for
copying costs from line items" (CndTyLineItems) is "EK02" for all the sales order type we
    have used.
    So I am very confused.
Why material with planning strategy 40 there is no EK02 in the sales order?
Why material with planning strategy 50 there is EK02 in the sales order?
Where is the EK02 come from? The requriement class ? Or the Salse order Type?
Are there any other customizing for Condition type EK02 determination?
    Thanks very for any reply!!

    Hi,
In MTO you will create Process order.
And to Produce a Item you use Sub components that is Raw material
That raw material cost is EK02 which you maintain in the Material Master - Accounting View 1.
You can see cost in the Process Order also .
Note : Dont post same in different posts

  • Error in Planned GI Date when delivery created from APO TP/VS

    Hi All,
The problem being faced here is that the Planned GI date & Planned pick up date in delivery is changing to the date on which the shipment ends, when generated through 'OLTP Generation of Deliveries'.
I will explain the problem more in details
I created the Sales order for a customer today i.e. on 21/11/07. The system calculated the MAD & RDD correctly in Sales Order. Shipment formed against this Sales order in TP/VS. TP/VS suggested correct shipment activities such as Goods Issue, Loading & Shipment end considering transit Time of 24 Hrs. I then
generated deliveries through 'OLTP Generation of Deliveries' & delivery also got created successfully in R/3. However the Planned GI date in the delivery is shifted by one day & falling on next day i.e. on 22/11/07 (the date on which the shipment is completing). Also the material availability date also gets shifted accordingly.
This is not matching with TP/VS results where the Goods Issue as per TP/VS is 21/11/07. Hence the Planned GI date in delivery should be 21/11/07 & not 22/11/07.
I have checked the Time Zone consistency in APO & R/3 & both match with each other.
For your information the system used are SCM 4.1 SP10 & ECC 5.0
Can any one suggest how to resolve this issue ?
    Thanks
    V Vasudevan

I hope by this time you must have resolve this issue or your query. If possible, Please share your observations

  • Order Combination

    Hi All,
Not able to combine  2 different  order  line items and create  single delivery. Same customer used in  both the sales orders.Order combination field flagged in  Customer master, sales order header level and item level. Config maintained  in copy controls from salesorder to delivery and below mentioned fields has same data in both the sales orders
shipping point , ship to party, incoterms, sales organisation. Can  any one throw some light, on this , why  not  able to combine 2 different sales orders and generate single delivery? am i missing something
    Regards

Run program ZLE_ANALYZE_DELIVERY_SPLIT in SA38 to analyze why the deliveries got splitted.
If this program is not available, then the same can implemented using OSS Note 355404 - Why was there a delivery split during creation?

  • Long time for loading Planning books/data views

    Hi
Could someone throw some pointers/solutions for extremely horrible time taken for a planning view (data view) to load and populate for certains selection profiles that already have large number of trasactional records. In my case it is specifically the run time dumps thrown for a popular combination (large number of transactions).
Urgent suggestions/solutions required. Pls. call 9923170825. India, if you are lazy enough to type it out. or just type in some key words, tcodes etc.
    Thanks

I hope you dont have too many macros hogging the memory in interactive book. The other thing is to be on the latest LC build. Also try to have default unit of measures (keep the dataview settings for UoM blank).
Can you confirm if you build the TLB view brand new in 5.0 or did you do some migration of the books ? The first time opening of book takes longer due to some compilation of certain objects. in SM50, try to identify where the process takes longest - whether it is at client end, at the DB procedure of LC or at application level.
