Using bapi_po_create1 to create PO with return item - Order Combination

Hello,
There's a shipping tab that appears in a purchase return item, and in it there's a flag called Order Combination.
Only i can't seem to find a way to change that flag using this BAPI, nor using bapi_po_change.
Any ideas?

Hi
Its a setting that you maintain in the customer master reord that defaults it.
So if you want this to be flagged for some vendors and for some no flag the you need to maintain accordingly in the Customer master data - Sales are data Shipping tab
If you want it to be maintained through BAPI then populate the same in POSHIPPINGEXP structure

I am using FM BAPI_PO_CREATE1 to create a PO wrt PR. but while executing getting an error.
No instance of object type PurchaseOrder has been created. External reference:
Purchase order still contains faulty items
Purchase requisition 10002040, item 00010, does not exist
Purchase requisition 10002040, item 00010, does not exist.
Any suggestions to solve this problem.

Hello,
I want to create a PO with a limit item (category = B). What are the important parameters/tables which have to be filled.
Currently I'm filling the following:
POHEADER + POHEADERX
POITEM + POITEMX
POSCHEDULE + POSCHEDULEX
POACCOUNT + POACCOUNTX
POSRVACCESVALUES
POLIMITS
The package number in the item matches with the one which is used in POSRVACCESSVALUES and POLIMITS. When I debugg the function module everything looks fine to me and a PO is also created BUT it does not contain any item with category = B.
Does anyone of you have an idea what is missing?

When i post a good receipt (movment type : 161) for a PO (PO with Return items), i have this Error Message :
" Account 61522200 requires an assignment to a CO object "
Note : in this GR i have already : Profit center, Funds center and Order (CO objects)
So please what could be the reason ? and how to resolve it ?

Please check first the field status of the account in FS00. If this account requires CO object as mandatory then check whether a cost element is created or not , this error normally occurs when CO object is mandatory but relevant cost element is not created.

Goto OKB9 : The u201CChage View u201CDefault account assignment: Overviewu201D appears. Enter the company code, cost element, and default cost object. The cost object could be a cost center, internal order or profit center.

If that material is in your stock than you transfer that stock from storage location to storage location. thin can be within one plant or between two plants (If you have declared service center as storage location)use MVT type 301 With ref to this material document you have excise invoice thru J1IS.(If excise is applicable)You can edit excise values there.

Using BAPI_PO_CREATE1 to create a PO - MoT from contract is overwriting input

We're using BAPI BAPI_PO_CREATE1 to create a PO with reference to a conract.
On that contract, we assign a MoT Group - a MoT value that corresponds to several MoT values.
For instance, MoT 91 allows MoT 07, 08, and 09.
When we pass a value to the OIC_MOT field of 07, the PO is trying to create using MoT = 91.
We are using the ExtensionIn structure and are marking the appropriate OIC_MOT = 'X' in the ExtenionInX structure.
any ideas?

We found the issue - it turns out that if you do NOT pass origin state/country to the BAPI, all of the external details are copied from the contract.

Using 08 to create flash with 09 installed

When i upgraded to keynote 09, it left keynote 08 in the applications folder (which seems to run ok). Can I use O8 to create a flash/swf file using the export (which is not in 09)? I have upgraded quicktime pro to version 7.6.2 as well.

How to create delivery for return sales order?

I'd like to create a delivery for a return sales order, I used transaction VL01N to do that, but error message said no delivery-relevant item in this order. Can transaction VL01N be used for this step?

Hi,
We can create the delivery in Return process with the transaction code VL01N as in the normal process. The following are some imp points we need to remember before performing returns order process.
1. We must make sure that a RE document type must be created and assigned .
2. Subsequent delivery document LR must be created and assigned to order type RE.
3. We must make sure whether the item for which we are creating a return delivery is it relevant for return process.Means that in the control data of item category REN 'Return item' indicator need to be activated.
Once all these settings are fulfilled then only we can perform the return delivery successfully.
If you are using any other documents rather than standard documents please check for those configuration settings that are applicable for return process.

For the last 5 years (and in IPCC3.x/4.x,UCCX/5.x/7.x) I've used the same basic subflow to read a XML document that contains holiday dates where the queue should be closed. I've re-used this script on 20+ client installs and it's always worked. The structure of the script allows you to pass the path and filename of the XML document as parameters to the subflow. (The document is in the repository)
I loaded this script in UCCX 8.0.2 recently and it crashed with a Java.IO error. It looked like it was trying to read the file system directly and not the repository. (In the Linux appliance model this kind of makes sense but why is the step trying to read the file system directly?)
So I open a TAC case (SR# 615243125) and TAC tells me that the method of using the Create File Document step is not supported anymore and that I should specify the filename directly in the Create XML Document step
The problem that I see (aside from having to edit all my scripts that use XML files) is that the Create XML Document step is looking for the input to be a type DOCUMENT and not a type STRING. This seems to imply that I have to hardcode the document in each script that I deploy for a customer. When it was a string it was easy to construct the full file path from parameters and pass to the subflow.
Questions to the group
#1 Am I missing something here?
#2 Do you assume that you'll be able to load a script that worked fine in UCCX 7 into UCCX 8 and that it should completely function when you're doing everything according to the step reference documentation.
#3 Cisco didn’t document this in any way that I can find.
#4 How can you use the Create XML Document step in a fashion that would let you construct the path of the file and the filename previously in the script so you could pass it to a subflow ? It would seem this functionality has been killed in UCCX 8

You are mixing two different issues together here.
The Create File Document step is indeed not needed or supported for creating an XML document. That is why there is a unique step; to trigger XML parsing within the MIVR subsystem.
Accessing the file system is restricted to a single folder within the VOS model (i.e. 8.0+). This folder is not backed up, replicated, or cleaned up automatically. It was intended to give developers some FS access as a temporary swap location only.

Assume nothing; read the documentation and attend one of the dozens of partner training sessions that CCBU put on advising of the upcoming changes.

You're right, I guess, on the Create File vs. XML Document step. AFAIK Cisco never wrote a notice into the Step Reference Guide explicitly stating that you cannot use the Create File Document although the documentation seemed pretty clear to me without it. File system restrictions are documented in the 8.0 release notes.

No it hasn't; just concatinate a string to build the Source Document parameter the step needs. Example: "DOC[" + myFilePath + "]"

2) Double click on the value "BILLINGDATAIN"
3) Input Sales Organization, Dis.Chnl, Div, Order Type, Bill date, Sold to etc., and press F3
4) Now execute (F8)
5) Press "Success"

Use condition type 'RC00' to process return sales order

first, I copy RC00 to RC10 and change its Calculat.type = B(Fixed amount).
second, I place a sales order to deliver 10 PC(RC10 = 10 USD) to customer and bill 8PC(RC10 = 8 USD) to customer.
third, I place a return sales order(only return 2 PC) reference to above billing but the RC10's amount is still 8 USD instead of 2 USD.
I think this is relative to Cond.base value and Cond.control = F(Condition value fixed (billed)) and who can tell me how to realize my purpose?

Guess, If you do returns again for two more pieces, again it will determine the same value for RC10.
Please look into the areas of 'copy controls - price type' field and also the Calculation type (fixed amount) also.

Using CSS instead of or with library item

I built my site using Dreamweaver 8. I used the design view
exclusively. I made a navigation bar as a library item. Utilizing
rollovers, etc. Now I have learned I should build my site utilizing
CSS and as was pointed out on this forum to me, to learn CSS and
HTML.
I am having a brain freeze. The logic escapes me as to how I
would build a navigation bar and put it on each page as I did
utilizing the library function before.
I am sure for all you pro's this is a really dumb and obvious
thing but I just don't seem to figure out the logic how to do it. I
am not talking about the CSS for the behaviors such as hover,
visited, active. This I know how to do. It is just the ability to
have a properly designed navbar and be able to put it on every page
I make.
Murry "ACE" told me not to use AP and the dreaded mm_menus so
I am trying to figure this out and build a better more code
efficient site. Mine works but is quite trashy in the code.

It can be a bit daunting.
Try going through this tutorial completely. It's a bit out of
date (using
an older version of DW), and still covers the use of tables,
but it's worth
reinforcing your basic understandings -

First, I mentally separate the page layout into three
sections:
1. Stuff that will not change for the life of the site (i.e.,
the basic
structural elements)
2. Stuff that *could* change from time to time (e.g.,
navigation elements,
burst advertisements, section-specific navigation, etc.)
3. Stuff that *will* change from one page to the next
Then I create a template containing all class1 elements. Next
I create
server-side include files containing all class 2 elements and
place them on
the template as needed. Note - some of the class 2 elements
may be
"section-specific elements", and their placement on the
template will be
subject to the next item. Finally, I insert editable regions
to cover the
class 3 items, INCLUDING the section-specific navigation.
This allows me to just cookie-cut the rest of the site. I
estimate that
even for fairly large sites, about 80% of my work goes into
planning and
creating this template file.

Using PCF to create booklets with pages

Before I updated to Lion I could used the create booklet software to print out booklets for church. After installing Lion I am being told this application is not universal and I need an update. None appears to be available. Any ideas?

Rosetta -- the software which allows older PPC software to run on Intel Macs -- is not supported on Lion. So, you have two options -- either get updated software which runs on Intel Macs ("universal" means it contains both PPC and Intel code), or somehow continue to run SL.
