Order shop paper - default setting - can be restricted to planning plant

Hi,
We define Shop papers, through transaction code OIDF. Next we assign the shop papers for Order types through OIDG. Here, there is no restriction to Planning Plant.
Is there any possibility, to make setting to restrict for Planning plant to print shop papers.
For example,
We have Planning plant 1000 and 2000.
We have Shop papers Z001, Z002 and Z003
We have order types, PM01, AND PM02.
Here we made setting in OIDG,
Doc type   Paper    Selection
PM01        Z001          X
PM01        Z002          X
PM01
Z003
PM02        Z001
PM02        Z002
PM02        Z003,         X
I think this is the possibility in SAP.
Here we need to restrict with Planning Plant,
Planning Plant    Doc type         Paper          Selection
1000                    PM01              Z001            X
1000                    PM01              Z002            X
1000
   PM01
  Z003
1000                    PM02              Z001
1000                    PM02              Z002
1000                    PM02               Z003           X
2000                     PM01              Z001           X
2000                     PM01              Z002
2000                     PM02              Z001            X
2000                     PM02              Z002            X
2000                     PM02              Z003            X
Is this any possibility to restrict the default printing of shop papers with respect to Planning Plant with Order type.
Please provide your suggestions.

Raja ,
Have you tried the the User Specific Print Control values (OID3).
Switch-on the PM-Specific fields which opens the Plant field. Then make settings as required making sure the User field is "*".

  • Can i restrict a manufcaturing plant as delivering plant in order type

    dear all,
How can i restrict a manufcaturing plant as delivering plant in order type of Depo sales,
    thanks...

A manufacturing plant is where stocks of a material are kept and is assigned to a company code.
If a plant is assigned to the Sales Organization and Dist Channel, it is called Delivering Plant. Basically without this assignment, you cannot make any deliveries.
The system copies the plant data into the sales order from the relevant entries in the master records based upon the following priorities:
    1. Customer material information master record
    2. Customer master record
    3. Material master record
The plant data is coming into sales order because of assignment of plant to Sales Organization and Dist Channel.
    Hope this clears your doubt

  • Shopping Cart - Default Setting for Items

Since the default setting for items requires user to enter the default values on each shopping cart creation. We would like to use the BADI BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI to set a default value, so that user would not have to entry it over and over.
After I check the BADI, where I cannot find any export parameters associate to these default fields.

    Hi Vadim,
I also have a similar requirement where our customer wants to change or prepolulate the PO type in the Default settings for items.I wanted to knwo if this is user based and if there is any waye we can keep updating them based on some action on the portal.Ideally in our case we have to do it from teh portal. So if there is any RFC that can update or fill these details we can use webdynpro applications to trigger them at runtime and then update them.Any ideas ?

  • UCM 9.1 7975 Sets can't restrict user preferences

We have CallManger 9.1 installed and just noticed that we can't restrict the settings on the 7975 sets to only User Preferences - all 7 options are showing
Is there a patch with the 9.1 for the 7975 sets?

Mac OS X now uses the clang compiler, and it is possible the package has not been ported to work with the pickier clang compiler.
If your system has gcc, you could maybe try hacking the Makefile to use gcc instead of cc (or maybe export CC=gcc, again assuming you have an older copy of gcc on your system).  You might also try specifying some CFLAGS to disable some compiler checks.  It is possible you will need to modify the sources to fix obnoxious coding violations that both clang and gcc will not ignore.
Or you might check if one of the Mac OS X package managers have already ported the package:  http://MacPorts.org, http://brew.sh, http://www.finkproject.org

  • How can we restrict the planned effort overiding in project workplan ?

    Hi,
I have some requirement to restrict the planned effort in workplan so that the resource cannot book more hrs than the actual planned effort .
is there a restricton available in oracle projects for this or any standard feature ?
    Regards,
    Skg

    Hi
I'm not sure if you are asking about restricting the plan or restricting the actual time.
Assuming the last, please note, there is no standard functionality to restrict employees from charging their time to a project once they hit the workplan budget.
Assuming employees are entering their time on Pre-approved batch form or OTL, then system will call validations for each project entry. You could use the transaction control client extension. In the client extension develop the logic to check the balance of work-plan budgeted quantity minus accumulated quantity of hours already charged. Then compare the balance to the quantity entered on the form. If that quantity exceed the balance raise an error message and prevent saving that transaction.

  • Can we restrict deliveries at plant level for a particular period

    Hi all,
At month end , if we want to close the sale, and restrict all the delievries in that month for a particular plant.. will that be possible, if yes how?
    can anyone advise.

    Hi,
    Temporary Soluition may be
In the Material Master, there is a setting for Plant-sp.matl status.
You can use this for stopping the posting .
it can be used to stop the material from being used in POs, BOMs and movements etc. by plant (you would also need to use the sales block -Dchain specific status to prevent sales orders).
    Thanks,

  • Itunes 10 imports cd tracks in alphabetical order only.  What setting do I change so it imports the same order as the cd?

itunes 10 imports cd tracks in alphabetical order only.  What setting can I change so that it will import cd tracks in the same order as on the cd?  Any help would be appreciated!  I have this issue on only 1 of my 2 macbook pro computers, so I'm guessing it is a setting issue--but I don't know where to find it.

The apparent order of a burned CD may depend upon how you have iTunes display it - https://discussions.apple.com/message/17827921

  • Priority field mandatory for planning plant-order type

    Hi
Is there a standard way through configuration that I may contol priority field in order header to be mandatory for some order types only in one planning plant?
Problem is that if I make the priority field mandatory for order type, it will be so for all the planning plants which i dont want. Also i dont want it to mandatory at planning plant level since there are many order types under one planning plant and requirement is to make priority field mandatory only for some order types under this plant.
    TIA.

    Hi Tehsin
    Thanks for the reply.
In the transaction we can separately make it mandatory for either planning plant or order type.
My requirement is for combination of both.

  • Default shop paper against specific plant

    Hi All,
can anybody tell me how can we default shop paper against specific plant?
In PM there are below options available -
    1. User specific print control - Here we can set print controls (E.g. No of copies) against specific plant.
    2. Define shop papers for order types - Here we can set default shop papers against document type (E.g. order type PM01)
But I could not find, how can we set default shop paper against specific plant?
    Thanks & regards,

    hi,
    Transaction-->>OIDF
Menu path     IMG: Plant Maintenance and Customer Service -> Maintenance and Service Orders -> Print Control -> Define Shop Papers, Forms and Output Programs ->Print Diversion According to Field Contents
In above node you can set your printer as per Plant wise
You can define various shop papers and their print layout in this Customizing activity.
Consider the following when maintaining the print layout:
u2022     You can maintain shop paper layouts separately for notifications and orders.
u2022     Preliminary settings are supplied for each of these areas.
u2022     In the detailed display you can see the name of a report for each shop paper and the description of a form that has been allocated.
u2022     The individual reports serve the print output; the form defines the layout of the shop paper and the fields that are printed.
    Steps:
    1. Define Shop Papers
    2. Define Shop Papers for Order Type 'selection field' to be marked for predefined printing documents
3.Print Diversion According to Field Contents
    Remark:
output program not standard, form routine not standard,
form is not used with smart forms

  • Shop Paper for Notification and Order

    Hi All,
I have assigned shop paper for both Notification and Order. Now when I am trying to print the Order or Notification via Maintenance Order or Notification respectively, both the outputs are in the selectable mode since order is created from notification.
But user wants that when he is trying to print Order only shop paper for Order should be in selectable mode and same for Notification. I checked the configuration settings for this but could not find anything.
Are there any settings where we can achieve this.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Shobha

    OK...try this:
in OIDB (notification) remove the selection check for all generic entries - this determines what is shown when you try to print.  For example, if you have a setting for doc.type = * and it is checked for selection, each of those will appear when you print.  By removing this selection check for doc type = *, it won't appear for yours.  You should put a line there for your doc type with the selection checked.  If you put a second line there for your doc type without the 'selection' checked - it will show, but be optional when you do a print.
In OIDG (work order), follow the same logic.  Once you print the order, it will propose to print the notification as well (either selected or just available).  Also, i think you should link the notification and order types in work order config.
This works when you are printing a work order, but i'm not sure if you can print the work order from the notification.  I just tried this in my system and did get the notifications to print while printing the work order using the settings i've mentioned.

  • Can I over-ride the default setting in Organizer to allow sorting photos by filename ?

I am converting slides from the 1970's and 80's to digital files and using PSE 8 to Organize them but it is important to me that they stay in the order of the file name I give them and NOT "Date: newest first or last" because it would seem that PSE, in the absence of metafile information, uses the date and time I uploaded the file to the Organizer as the "Date:".  ACDSee has a much more sensible arrangement in giving me full control of how my photos are sorted.  I am being driven to using ACDSee as the organizer and PSE as the photo editor, a not very convenient arrangement.  So my question is, "Can I over-ride the default setting in Organizer to allow sorting photos by filename ?"

The type of file system that you're trying to set up, is actually done better by creating you own file heirarchy in Windows, and then viewing by import batch.  For example; you might create a top level folder "My Slide Scans", then perhaps, "My son John". So, the scans of john all go in the same folder, you import the folder in one batch, and you're where you want to be.
That said, PSE will fight you at every turn to do this, since with the scanner hooked up with PSE, PSE is going to want to store your photos in "scanned photos" and import them as you scan them.
I woud suggest this.  After the scan and import, use PSE to move the photos to their final destination folder, say " Hawaii 1994", and create a tag of the same name". Then when you're done scanning photos of this event, use the tag to view all the scans at once. Then, delete all the photos from the organizer. (Yeah, sounds radical I know). Take heart! All you've gotta do then is to reimport the whole folder. All the same name photos will be in one import batch. And with all the photos of any given topic in one folder, you'll be able to also use Windows Explorer in any number of modes to view the photos outside PSE.
Keep in mind you can rename batchs of photos by selecting them, or by import batch or even tag, then "Ctrl. > Shift > N" will bring up the name change dialog box.
This technique is quite contensious, but, it makes a whole lot more sense than storing all your photos in the "My Photos" folder on the "C:/" drive where any viral or malware hiccup might cause the necessity of a reformat, which could cause the loss of years of work.
If a name search is a priority, that would be "Ctrl ."Shift" > "K" then type in whatever your heart desires.
Caution: Before attempting a delete/ reimport manuver, Alway, always, write the tag and file info to the photo. "File" >"Write Tag and Properties Info to File".
I always am quite adamantine about suggesting that you do NOT use the same physical HDD that contains Windows to store your photos, that's just asking for trouble. HDDs are quite cheap nowadays, and they're worth every penny in piece of mind. Plus to use a storage ("Volume") drive, you have to create your own file heirarchy anyway, so that leads right back to the beginning of this discussion.

  • Can we restrict the partially confirmed production order from getting delet
