  • In Sales order plant is not allowing to change

    Hi Guru's
In Sales order plant is not allowing to change it's showing gray but some materials it's allowing to change plant. What is the reason for this error can any one please help me.
    dnr

    Hi friend,
I suppose you cannot change the plant at order level if the material is created to a particular plant.
As you say for few materials you are able to change, may be due to the fact that the material is extended to the other plants. You need to extend the material to the other plant in MM01 enter tha material and enter the industry sector and Material type and give the same material as the copy from material. A screen will pop up asking for the plant details. Here you can enter the other plant and tha material is extended to the other plant.

    Best regards,

    Hello,
Go to SPRO --> Plant Maintenance & CS --> Maintenance and Service Processing --> Maintenance and Service Orders --> Assign order types to maintenance plants.
Maintain the order type SM03 against the plant.
Go to SPRO --> Plant Maintenance & CS --> Maintenance and Service Processing --> Maintenance and Service Orders --> Completion confirmations --> Define the parameters for completion confirmations.
These both should be done, try to raise the SM03 order now.

  • Manual reservation for order category 30 not allowed

    Gurus,
I want to do manual reservation for order category. In MB21 when i try to do the reservation the system in giving the error message
Manual reservation for order category 30 not allowed
What should be done to overcome this.
In the order one component is given,i want to issue additional component, this is where i am encountering the problem.

The Standard System would not allow you to create a reservation manually against a Maintenance Order Whether you change the Res / P Req Indicator to Never. Still  the System would generate the Reservation for the Stock Materials. Purchase Requisition could be created manually against the Order but reservation is not. The Movement types used for reservations are 261/262. Kindly elaborate on the requirement, may be a work around is there.
If you want to skip the goods movement against reservation step, you should enable the back flushing indicator against the stock material in the General Data View so when you would be entering Confirmation against the order, the goods movement would be automatically posted against the reservation created automatically from the Order without you having to bother about the reservation.

  • WM movement type 255 not allowed for warehouse number 008

    Hi,
Error message "WM movement type 255 not allowed for warehouse number 008" pops up during creation of outbound delivery. I checked the schedule line for this sales order, it was actually tagged to movement type 631 instead of 255. There ain't any movement type 255 at all. How to solve this?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Check in Customizing for Define Movement Types where for the given warehouse number movement type 255 is assigned.
    Path is,
Logistics Execution - Activities - Transfers - Define Movement Types.
Check for 008 Movement 255 is assigned or not.
    Thanks

  • Manual reservation for order category 20 not allowed

    Hi,
We are getting the error message "Manual reservation for order category 20 not allowed" when trying to manually create a Reservation Order charged to a network through transaction code MB21.
Anyone knows how to solve this?
    Will appreciate feedback. Thanks!

    Hi,
You would need to add this component in your WBS element & then the MRP run will generate a reservation for this. You cannot create a manual reservation using 281 mvt in MB21.
Refer sap note 43924, read the paragrah under 'cause and prerequisites' means that according to SAP's standard design, reservation for Network is supposed to be automatic, not manual. However, if manual reservation is really needed, do apply the solution provided.
    Hope the above clarifies.

  • Order type is not picking while converison Plnd to process order

    Dear Dudes,
i have maintained production scheduling profile in all material masters in which order type is specified. while converting planned order to process order order type is not picking.
    thanks in advance.

    Robert,
Since you are using same order type for both MTS & MTO, you can define this order type "PI01" in the MRP plant parameters using transaction OPPQ in the Conversion of Planned order section.
I am not sure, why production scheduling profile is not working for you, hope you are using the Production scheduling profile configured using CORY transaction check this part alone.

Actually I want to create an object view or object table with all the details of division, department , cost center and operation and it will store depending upon the respective upper level hirarcy 's id.For eg. department details can be fetched through division id etc..
So I can't figure out what to do for this kind of structure and how to do that.
I am running Oracle Release 2 (9.2.0.1.0) for Windows 2000.
Any help , advice or suggestions will be appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Cameron,
Thanks for your great suggestion.Actually what you have suggested is correct and it was tested by me correctly. But actually I want to store records in the multiple objects hirarcy depending upon the respective upper level hirarcy 's id.For say how can I retrive all records related to divisionID which is in the top level hirarchy? So by selecting divisionID=01, how can I easily select all depts, cost centers and Operation details?
Again I have another problem , when try to retrive record using PL/SQL I got some problem.

  • Order types, why do we need to create our order types and not use the stand

    HI
Order types, why do we need to create our order types and not use the standard ones during implementation.

    Hi Raj,
Well there is no hard and fast rule that you have to copy nad create a new order type. Its just to meet our own requirements that we copy the standard and make the changes if required to meet our business needs.
And by this way we keep unchanged the standard order type for further use.
If you are sure that the standard order type satisfies your need you can directly use that only.
I hope this clarifies the issue.
    Do reward if find useful

  • Error in RFx : Item type 'Service' not allowed for this Item

    hi , experts,
We use SRM7.0 in Standalone scenario .
i get an error when i transfer SC to RFx :     Line 0001: Item type 'Service' not allowed for this Item .
if someone kindly tell me how to correct this Error.
another question is ,in the Standalone scenario , can we create Service Master with multiple level(hierarchy) use Tcode 'COMMPR01 ' ?
       reagrds
               claud

    Hi Claud,
SRM does not support hierarchy in service for operational documents like PO, contract, confirmation and invoice in SRM 7. It does support hierarchy in service only for RFx doucments. You need to activate the hierarchy template for SRM for that.
    Thanks and regards,
    Ranjan
