Ordering non catalog products in B2B

Hello,
We would like to allow a B2B user to search and order products not in our catalog, but are valid products in R/3.  Our assumption was we could set the parameter enable.nonCatalogProducts in the XCM to True, and this would work.  Unfortunately this does not seem to be the case.  . When searching for a valid non catalog product, the search results say No products were found. Entering the non catalog product directly in the shopping cart also yields the product was not found message.   We are running SAP E-Commerce 5.0, and the IsaQuickSearch code appears to only check the B2B catalog for results in the search, and no reference to the enable.nonCatalogProducts setting.
I saw a thread from 2007 that said the enable.nonCatalogProducts was only for CRM, and not E-Commerce.  Is this still the case? Is there a setting to enable the non CRM ISA system to search R/3 if it does find the product in the catalog, or will this need to be a customization?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Steven

Hi,
Are those R/3 products are replicated to CRM system?
XCM parameter "enable.nonCatalogProducts " is applicable for ISA and you can order non-catalog products
through direct entry in the order transaction.
But products must exist in the CRM system to use this feature.
Thanks,
Dinesh.

I am attempting to implement non-catalog product blocking.  Currently it works when creating a new transaction.  When changing an old transaction it does work.  I have attempted to use the SAP Note (but they only mention a change to a .java file without giving the change).  Does anyone have any information.
    Thanks

I meant when changing an old transaction it does not work.

  • Non-Catalog Items

    Hi Experts!
For my B2B scenario (ERP backend) I need to be able to add non-catalog items to the basket and to order them.
I read about the XCM configuration for adding items which do not belong to the web catalog by using the component "enable.nonCatalogProducts". But it doesn't work, cause I always receive an error message in my basket after I have added a non-catalog product. Any advices?

    Hi Mirko,
the error message states exactly what the problem is: The material you are trying to order is not available in the sales area you are currently using and which is configured in the Shopadmin application. You will have to either add this sales area to the material or you will have to change the shop setup so that you work in the correct sales area.

  • Non-catalog purchase order not showing up in BW extract BBP_SC_BW_GET_TD

The BW team is using function BBP_SC_BW_GET_TD to retrieve purchase requisition and purchase order changes from SRM. In a non-catalog scenario, BW system is getting the purchase requisition from SRM but not the manual created purchase order (references purchase requisition).
I see the purchase requisition and purchase in the function BBP_PD (SRM), which retrieves its information from tables srrelroles and bbp_pdbinrel. However, I do not see the manual created purchase order in table bbp_pdbei, which function BBP_SC_BW_GET_TD uses to retrieve the purchase order. Any ideas??? Should bw be using a different function for getting the po for a non-catalog scenario? I see no oss notes on this issue. In addition, I have run the program BBP_GET_STATUS_2 and clean program over and over. I have heard of consultants creating a trigger.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I'm not clear you issue. Is it SC -> PR(backend) -> PO(backend) classic scenario ? or You just created a PO in backend system?
BBP_GET_STATUS_2 will update SC follow-on doc information from backend.

    Hi CRM web channel Gurus,
We have done all XCM configurations in terms of 'b2c, isauseradm, shopadmin and ipc' components accordingly. Our catalog replicated to TREX successfully that is used ZB2C pricing procedure from ECC all condition replications are well done. On GUI, we can see the ECC condition on the product master data with tcode COMMPR01 unfortunately on the web we can not see the prices of catalog products.
Moreover after adding  a product to shopping basket through completion of the order process then pricing procedure calculates true price that both seem on the web and tcode CRMD_ORDER in terms of checking out ECC conditions.
Is there any missing customizing IPC entries on XCM or RFC destination error on Middleware Parameter in terms of SAPCRM_SPC parameters. Could you please help in order to solve this issue?

    Hi Mark,
In the Shopadmin for our shop that we are using IPC pricing for the Product catalog
That's exactly true that all of the products condition data are shown 0,00 in terms of enable pricing analysis in the XCM this should allow you to see the Condition data that is resulting in the 0,00 price in the webshop. How can I show the true condition data that is resulting without 0,00 accordingly?

    SRM Guru's

    TAX S/w: Vertex ( O )
As of now:    We are planning to implement a vanilla SRM-ECC (in ext. classic). We are into Indirect procurement w/limit orders.
    Catalog:
I want to create a Catalog ( UNSPSC or 1 level company catalog),
           1. Can this be created in ECC  (with out Products ) and replicated to SRM (EBP)
           2. How to go about creating it ?
           3. Can it be done with out CCM, if so how
           4. How to replicate it ? ( no CCM or middleware )
           5. Can i create it in EBP ? if so, plse say how..
    TAX:
Vertex mentioned that, Tax codes will be mapped to services, in our case, since we don’t have Services except a free form text describing what service is provided ( eg: "Payroll Service" ), what can be done ?
In a normal scenario, i can imagine having Service Master with all "Services", but in our situation, how can we use catalog to map to TAX codes. ?

  • Non-catalog shopping cart - manual po not showing up when extracting

I see the purchase requisition in table BBP_PDBEI. However, I do not see the associating manual created PO within this table. The manual PO has been created within ECC 6.0 and
shows up when running BBP_PD. Therefore, I know its recognizing the link the between the purchase requisition and po within SRM. In addition, I have run the programs BBP_GET_STATUS_2 and CLEAN_REQREQ_UP with

  • PO Partial confirmation Quantity not updated for non-catalog items in SRM

    Hi Experts,
Partial Confirmation plus Partial Rejection from Ariba(Suppliers network) could not be processed.
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1) Create a purchase order.
    2) Confirm some part of the quauntity and reject the balance part in Ariba.
    3) Open the link in SRM and click Copy push button.
    4) Click on Process PO and check PO, the PO is not updated with the changes done in Ariba
    Expected Result:
PO should update the changes done in Ariba.
Here when part quantity is confirmed and part is rejected at Ariba, its sending a POR but SRM is not updating anything for non-catalog items when POR is copied onto PO.But where as  in the Catalog items partially confirmed POR is copied onto PO.
kindly give your valuable inputs to poceed furthur.

  • Can we have different products between B2B and B2C

    Hi Experts,
I have one basic question.  Can we maintain the different products between B2B and B2C users.  Because we have requirement is B2B users should get all the products, but B2C users should get limited products.  Is there way we can setup like this to meet the requirements.  Please let me know.  Thank you very much in advance.
    With Regards,
    Sudheer.

You do this by creating two Product Catalogs (PCAT_B2C and PCAT_B2B, for example)  Then, in ShopAdmin you assign the B2C site to PCAT_B2C and the B2B to the PCAT_B2B.
Another possibility, although not very user friendly is to use one PCAT and allow B2B users to add items to their cart directly, even thought they're not in the PCAT.  The drawback here is that they MUST know the exact number and they can not search for them.  I can give more info on this if you feel it might work for you, but it is not a very good option as a general rule.

  • Non-serialized products from ERP to CRM Ibase

    Hello SDN community,
currently I am working with CRM 2007 and ERP 6.0.
I am trying to find a solution for the following scenario:
I create a Sales Order in ERP with configurable & non-serialized materials.
I want to bring exactly this materials including configuration into the CRM IBase automatically during the SalesOrder process
(very similar to the SAP standard equipment approach). Is there a SAP standard way???
I already know how this works for serialized materials (aka equipments) and I debugged the
system (especially function group IB_CRM_API with all its FMs) but I cannot find a really easy, straight forward
    approach to accomplish my solution...
I have several options in my mind, but what would be the best one?
    1) create my own bdoc (I could not find an standard one) for non-serialized product similar to EQUIMPENT / EQUI_CONFIG and attach it to the same Business Event?
    2) enhance the SALESDOCUMENT bdoc regarding my approach!?
    3) develope my own IDOC and send it to CRM and vice versa? (maybe less development than BDOC!)
    4) develope a pseudo serialization for the product?!? (I do not want to do serialization at all, because this could cause XX million of Ibase records easily in production!)
Thanks for any help & suggestions!
    Marco

    Hi Jorgen,
what I could understand from the forum is that you have some problem with your filter conditions.
Hence forth, I would like to clarify the filter conditions and will try explain it to you how it works :
    Case 1 :
    In R3AC1 : Filter is VKORG : 1000
    In R3AR2 : Filter is VKORG : 2000
On Request Download from R/3 to CRM, Data will get downloaded for the Request Filter.
    Case 2 :
    In R3AC1 : Filter is VKORG : 1000
                                   KUNNR : 1000 - 2000
    In R3AR2 : Filter is KUNNR : 1500 - 2500
On Request Download from R/3 to CRM, Data will get downloaded for KUNNR 1500 - 2500 with VKORG :1000 from R3AC1.
    Case 3 :
    In R3AC1 : Filter is VKORG : 1000
                                   KUNNR : 1000 - 2000
    In R3AR2 : Filter is  VKORG : 2000
                                   KUNNR : 1500 - 2500
On Request Download from R/3 to CRM, Data will get downloaded for KUNNR 1500 - 2500 with VKORG :2000 from R3AR2.
At the End of the Day, The filter works as follows :
    1. SAME TABLE FIELD present in R3AC1 and R3AR2 :
Result : The filter conditions of request download will override the filter conditions of R3AC1.
    2. DIFFERENT TABLE FILED present in R3AC1 and R3AR2 :
Result : The filter conditions of both R3AR2 and R3AC1 are considered and the data is filtered in the Request download. So , basically if the fields are different, THE AND condition is applied on the filter.
Hope You are clear with respect to filters now.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Sales-order-related mass production

    Dear all:
Our client has the following bussiness scenarios in PP: sales-order-related mass production .
So in costing configuration , I use the valuated sales order stock, and not let the sales order item carry the revenue and cost .
So I I haven't actived the "sales order" in okkp, and also make the filed "consumptiong posting filed "in account assignment category "blank", and in the "valuation filed" in "requirment class " I maintained "M", and I want to use the sales order item cost estimate value as the standard price , but when in testing , after run MRP and convert the planned order into the production order, the error occurs " You cannot make an assignment to make-to-
stock.", so my question is that, in sales-order-related mass production, can we following in the such process:
    1 create sales order
2 run mrp and generate the planned order
3 convert planned order to production order ?
    by the way:
The material 's material type is "KMAT", and strategy group is "25", and requirment class is "46"
and I use the "valuated sales stock".
    Thanks a lot.

    Dear,
Have you  refered OSS  Note 723180?
The MRP generates planned orders to meet the requirements. The KZBWS is copied from the requirement to the planned order which should meet the requirements.During the subsequent conversion planned order -> Production order, the 'Goods receipt, non-valuated' flag is set unrequiredly. If you created an MRP run manually and if the account assignment was carried out to the project, the KZBWS would be set as account valuation filedin "requirment class " if I maintained "M".
You should set Customizing in such a way that both the requirements class of the sales order and the used material same valuation indicator. For the sales order, it is field V_T459K-KZBWS. During the creation of production order it is found that the account assignment on the sales order . Afterwards the order can be saved and a goods receipt can be posted to the sales order stock.
Or other way is Configurable materials that are also made-to-stock must have a configuration valuation in the material master record - therefore they must be maintained as a variant (storage type). In this the material itself can be referenced as a 'configurable material' (variants and 'configurable materials' with BOMs are then one and the same material).

  • Catalog and Non catalog?

    Hi,
what is the difference between catalog and non catalog ?
    Thanks,

    Hi Rehan,
In simple words, catalog refers to list of items available for purchase, with the description and price of each item. Usually, a bind-in order form is included with the catalog. Catalog is basically maintained by a company for classified items and it helps its user to shop items based on the catalog. e.g. say in a Color Industry you can classify different shades of colors in a catalog. Another example is Menu card of a restaurant/hotel.
Non-catalog item is basically refers to items which are not defined under any catalog .e.g. say you are buying an air ticket or car rentals for official use...
    Hope this will help.

  • Autocreation of Non-Catalog Req to PO

    Hi ,
In the document types screen on our apps the auto create workflow is set and in case of catalog requisitions on creation of the requisition it is autocreated to create a release .But when trying to create a non-catalog request we have to manually go to the auto create form on core apps and then convert to a standard purchase order.Even though I filled in all the information like the buyers, supplier information etc which are required .Could you please suggest the approach to achieve the automatic auto creation of the non catalog req to std purchase order ?.
Note we donot have any contracts in our instance.
    Regards,
    Mouli

From iProcurement for converting Non Catalog request to PO, check the following
    - Global BPA exists for the selected Item Category in approved status.
    - Proper Autocreate workflow has been selected, Check internal attribute valuesfor Autocreate_Doc & Auto_Approve_Doc set to Yes Status
    - Proper Approval Hierarchy has been setup (Posn or Emp/Sup)
    - Sufficient Approval Authority exists for the approval groups for both Requisition and PO.
    - Expense Accounts has been setup for the Item Categories
I think that should be about it.
Check the following and revert back in case of any issues.

    Dear All,
I am from SD and have a doubt reg SD - PP ...
If i have 3 sales orders and each sales order has 3 line items. Now i need to make a production order --- the production order to have 1 line item from each sales order so in all 3 production orders for the 3 sales orders and each production order has 3 line items and each line item is from diffrent sales orders i.e as above 3 sales orders.
is it possible and how ?
I am awaiting for a suitable solution ASAP...

    krishna

    Hi,
In PP always 1 production order is for only 1 product ( if no co-product is added in BOM).
In your scenario, If the PP settings & master data are maintained perfectly.
System will create 9 production orders ( this may vary with respect to the lotsizing procedure used).
    Reward points if useful
