  • OTL Dual & Parallel Approval - Is it possible ??

    Hi,
We have following requirements from the client on timesheet approval for single application Payroll.
    1. Can we have multiple approval using supervisor hierarchy for n level of supervisor?
    2. Can parallel approval is possible. Where timesheet of user 'A' route to supervisor S1 (present as employee supervisor on asg screen) & S2 (present in employee asg DFF), on approval from any one of them it then route to Manager M.

  • Internal Order: Approval Routes

    Good morning,
We use internal orders in our company, on purchase orders and for goods issue.
However, we are looking for more control on the usage of these internal order numbers as users have been coding things incorrectly and we have to make manual corrections after the fact.
Is there a way in SAP to implement an approval route for purchase orders/goods issue situations where an internal order number is assigned?  That way, the appropriate manager can approve/reject them before they are posted and have to be corrected.
If not, does anyone have any other recommendations?
Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Uccx email agent - supervisor approval before mail is sent

    Hi,
we have one customer that would like to make upgrade of their contact center to new version (probably uccx8) and email agent functionality seems very interesting to them. But they would like to know if is it possible that supervisor approve outgoing mail before it is really sent?
so, if email agent gets an email and he answers it, is it possible that answer first goes to supervisor for re-check and afterwards it is sent to a customer?
Also, they would like to know if it is possible to get history call for every inbound call from the same customer? they have some customers that are calling almost every month for the same thing and they would like "to be prepared" for them when they are calling next month
    any idea would be appreciated.
    BR,
    Jelena

There is not a supervisor approval queue as there was in EIM. You can have the server BCC an address on all replies however. If you created a supervisor review mailbox and used that, they would at least be able to review and coach on any mistakes.
I'm not sure whether you're referring to the agent getting a call history from that caller; or, seeing patterns in historical reports.  If the former, not through CAD; however, you may be able to do an integration with their CRM product so that a record is stored for each call. If the later for historical reporting, some of the raw data is there (e.g. calling number) but there are no reports specifically geared toward showing it. I typically suggest that the IVR prompt the caller for an account number and store that into the database using Enterprise Data which provides more confident data. Either way you would likely want to build a custom report to see what you want. This is explained in the Historical Reporting Administrator and Developer Guide.

  • Timesheet Approval Configuration - Fixed Approval Routing

    Hello,
Currently our timesheet configuration is through chain approvals. Team member submits to their manager, manager does approval and sends to me (timesheet manager). I have Fixed Approval Routing unchecked, as I would like for the Manager to be able to select
me as manager to approve. However, after unchecking Fixed Approval Routing, it doesn't seem to pop up for managers to select me as the timesheet manager. They just get the dialogue box to click OK when approving. Is there a configuration I'm missing? I tried
this for every manager by delegating and it seems it just goes directly to their timesheet manager without having a message to send to. Previously, it would work fine, but after a few configuration tweaks it stopped popping up to select timesheet manager.
    Johnny Eltawn, Project Server Admin

For Project Server 2013, Try following:
Add yourself in the "Timesheet Managers" list, which can be set under "Server Settings" -> "Timesheet
    Managers"
Update Team member and make yourself as "Timesheet
    Manager"
thru "Manage User" or thru "Resource Centre."
    Update following setting on "Server
Settings" page, in the "Time and Task Management"
section, click "Timesheet Settings and Defaults"
Select the "Fixed Approval Routing" check box.
Under "Task Status Manager Approval", choose "Enabled" if you want managers to be able to approve individual
timesheet lines. You can also choose to "require line approval before timesheet approval."
    Hope this will help you.

  • Reg approval routing process

    Hi,
I am following this note to define the approval process for the items to be uploaded.
    It is
    http://portalstudio.oracle.com/pls/ops/docs/FOLDER/COMMUNITY/OTN_CONTENT/MAINPAGE/PUBLISH_CONTMGMT/TECHNOTE_APPR_OVRW.HTML
I defined the approval routing at page group and page level and gave the recepient as one of administrative users.
I made one user having manage items with approval privilege. When I login as this user upload item in a region under some tab then the item gets added. It should not.
When I login as an administrative user and check my notifications portlet there is not item pending approval.
Therefore this approval process is not working.
Could u pls help me in that.
    Thanx
    -Vipul

If the tabs have their own security settings that user should not be able to see them. Check that the user doesn't also have View privilege on the page group - that might be overriding the tab privileges.
For updated documentation on the approval feature, please refer to the new User's Guide. This version is currently in beta for the upcoming 9.0.4 release, but applies and is generally accurate for the 9.0.2.6 release.

  • OTL Superviour Login - Approval

    Hi folks,
I need very urgent help from you folks, I am using OTL version 11.5.10.2. I am not able to see employee timecard submission in superviour login. tesing in vision instance
    I have verified the followings,
    1. Both are using the same preference(proj override)
    2. Approval style is HR suerviour
    3. I could able to see the approval style in employee tab.
    4. I am using "Mass Approver" responsibility
    5. I ran the Workflow backgroup process concurrent program using the following parameter, (Employee only)
Please let me know if i am missing anything above or is there any other reason.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Stalin G

You may need to check that the system profile OTL:Defer Approval Process on Timecard is set to NO. This will then send the notification directly to the supervisor as soon as the timecard is submitted.
As another respondent pointed out too, you need to make sure that the approval period preference is using an approval period which is consistent with your timecard period. For example, if the timecard period is 7 days and you submit a t/card for week ending 08/07/07, the approval period needs to have ended by 08/07/07 to make it visible to the approver. I usually advise that approval periods and timecard periods coincide unless there is a really good business reason why they should not.
There are many other possibilites as to why this might not be working, but try these suggestions first.

  • Server crashes after router restarts, different routers, same result!

    Hello team,
I've had this problem before, and it's getting really annoying.
Every time I restart my router, my server will crash. It's almost always the case. I don't know why. It's not my router, I have tried 3 different routers. I thought maybe my RAM was faulty, that's not the case either.
    Any thoughts?
    p.s.
my server always assigns its own DNS address to my clients, so when the server crashes, the clients are left without internet. How can I stop this from happening?
    setup: Server 2012 Essentials R2, 2 GB RAM, AMD X2 3800+ CPU.
edit: this is the dump file it generates. I just restarted my router again, and exact same scenario:

  • Trip approval workflow on different cost centers.

    Hi Experts,
I have a business case that trip shall be approved by Cost Center HOD's (Cost center Owner).
    For Example:
Case 1: if an employee is going on business trip and charging is on his master cost center. Then his approval shall be done by his HOD or Cost center HOD (Stnd Solution)
Case 2: If an employee is going on business trip other than his master cost center, then approval shall be required from his Cost center owner (HOD).
Case 3: if employee is going on such trip where his charging shall be charged on Different Cost Centers (Master Cost Center + other cost center's) . Firstly approval shall be made his Master Cost Center (if available) then approval shall be required for all cost center in-charges.
Assume that there is one to one relationship between cost center and Org unit.
Please suggest some solutions for case 2,3
    Thank you in advance!

    Hi Muhammad,
As suggested by Thomas, you can use Rules to determine the agent who should get the workitem for approval.
Within the rule you could embed a FM wherein you could write your logic to determine the appropriate approver based on the trip data and the cost center of the user creating the trip.
    Hope this helps!

  • Different Approval Mails in Different Clients

    Hi All,
The approval mail which is generated by EBP after a shopping cart is created is different in two different clients.
Eg. In <b>Client-I</b>, the subject is:
                   <b>#EBP_GEN#  Approval of SC ..........</b>
          Whereas in <b>Client-II</b> it says:
                   <b>Approval of SC of .........</b>
The subject and contents of Client-II is what we have defined in Workflow Builder. But  am not sure which task is triggered to generate the mail as in Client-II.
Please help me regarding the same.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Anand R

    Hi Anand,
Standard Program 'RSWUWFMLEC' is reponsible to send all mails.
Please check this program in both the clients.
The text in the mail will be coming from the work item text.
To find which standard task is passing the text, goto Tcode SWDD
give your Workflow template number and check the standard task over there.
or goto Tcode SWI1 and check the log of the workflow.
Note: Reward points for helpful answer.

  • OSB - Service to receive message from JMS and route to different queues

    Hi,
I am completely new to SOA suite, so please bear my question :)
I have a requirement to send XML messages to the different queues(external client facing queue) based on their contents. These XML messages are generated inside the application based of various business scenarios.
We have adapted following approach to do it
    1. Application Service will construct the message and send it to the internal JMS queue (We are intending to use JAXB objects to construct message)
    2. On the OSB, we need to define a service, which will keep polling messages from this intermediate jms queue
and somehow based on some routing information, it will post those messages to the respective external facing queue.
For the first part I am using spring's JmsTemplate to send message to queue
For second part - I am not sure what should be the approach?
we are using Oracle 10g Fusion Middleware
    Please guide
    Cheers

Thank you guys for all your help. Very soon I will try and see how it works. Meantime just an additional question
Do I need to define a canonical xsd for all different types of xml messages? so that proxy can extract the routing info and route the actual message to different queues?
And re-directing to different queue in OSB means I need to define business service for each queue or I can put message directly into the destination queue by referring its jndi name in the proxy service configuration?

  • Question OTL Timecard (Auto-Approval).

    Hi All,
I'm facing a problem while uploading the time via OTL API's.
I'm using below OTL API's to upload the time.
    1.hxc_timestore_deposit.create_timecard_bb
    2.hxc_timestore_deposit.create_day_bb
    3.hxc_timestore_deposit.create_detail_bb
    4.hxc_timestore_deposit.execute_deposit_process
By these API's I am able to submit the timesheet with status as 'SUBMITTED' but not as the 'APPROVED' status.
Is there any setup/profile option to auto-approve these timesheets.
Can any of guys let me know what is the exact issue.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Raja,
What is the approval style defined for the timecard?
Timecards are always created in the Submitted or Saved mode. If you want the auto approval, make sure that the corresponding approval style is defined in the setup.

  • Supervisor Approval in SSHR not going

    Gurus,
I have oracle SSHR for my client.
Whenever a person changes his/her address in Personal Information screen, a notification should go to 1st level supervisor for approval.
It is not going at present. What can be the issue? Any pointers in this regard will be of great help.
    Regards,
    Novice

    Hi,
Can you verify workflow attribute setup.
open workflow builder ==> load HR workflow ==> open workflow process for Personal information change ==> in that process you will find sub process for address change ==> in this process ==> at review page node ==> right click on review page node ==> check the "dynamic approval required" attribute value is set to "yes-dynamic approval".
if this attribute is set properly then only it will call ame for approval.
