Outbound Messages on ECC using WS runtime, where to check

Hi guys,
I'm wondering if there is a tx on ECC where to check all outgoing and incoming messages using abap proxies on WS runtime. When using proxy runtime, they are visible at sxmb moni (on ecc). Where are they when WS runtime is used?
thank you,
Olian

Hi,
You can check for outgoing messages from ECC systems, in SXMB_MONI t code.
Thanks

  • To Monitor inbound and outbound messages for ECC 6.0 business system

    Hi Guys,
    I am working on ABAP proxy. I want to monitor the flow of Inbound and Outbound messages for my Business system (ECC 6.0).
    XI server is on a different system.
    I understand that SXMB_MONI is used for tracking XML messages. What kind of tracking can we do by this transaction in our Business system and the XI system?
    And how do I know whether the outbound XML message sent is lying in the Sending Business system or in the XI system?
    When I am testing my interface, there is a fault message generated. How do I know whether the fault message is being sent to XI?
    Thanks,
    James.

    James,
    Go to SXMB_MONI in your sending system.
    Here you will find a message ID fro your Message.
    Go to XI, --> SXMB_MONI -->Monitor For Processed XML messages --> Advanced Selection Crieteria and use the Message ID here to see if the Message has hit XI or not.
    Likeiwse it can be traced in the target system as well.
    The basic point,  The messages will have same Message Id on your R3 and on XI.

  • Relay Host for Outbound Messages not being used...

    I have a new v7 GWIA on a new domain that is using the relay settings from the original GWIA (on a separate domain) despite its own settings.
    Anyone seen this before?
    Regards

    Check your GWIA.CFG file as anything in there will override settings from eDirectory. I think the switch is /mh which is your Mail relay Host.
    If that isn't it, when you say it's a new GWIA, is this a new GWIA installation? Is it a whole new object? Or is it a new server that is running against the existing GWIA object?

  • Using existing XSD for Outbound Messages

    Hello,
    I am tasked with creating a new outbound message to send xmls to a SOA. I have been provided with the wsdl and xsd files that are being currently being used by the current system and I am hoping to use these exact same files in CC&B. Is there anyway to do this?

    Looks like I asked this question too soon. I found that I could just reference the existing xsd files in my xsl file.

  • Inbound IDOC messages Retention Period- Where to Check

    Hi Gurus,
    Where do we specify Inbound IDOC messages rention period.
    In our system I do not see Inbound IDOC messages ( coming from ECC to PI) older than 15 days.
    But I see Outbound IDOC messages ( PI to ECC) older than 15 days.Also I see non IDOC messages older than 15 days.
    I checked in SXMB_ADM, Integration Engine Configuration and I do not see any parameter for IDOCS.
    I appreciate any pointers.
    Regards,
    Ramesh.

    Hi,
       As far as I know, there is no specific setting for IDOC mesages .
    Retention period is generically set for all the messages in XI.
    Inbound and outbound messages are always with respect to ECC and not PI.
    (What you call inbound are actually outbound and vice versa).
    Retention periods, can be viewed using SXMB_ADM transaction only.

  • Missing asyn abap proxy client message in ECC

    Hi,
    I have a asyn scenario which an abap program will send data from ECC to PI using abap proxy client. My problem is i notice some of the message was no send to PI. Checked in PI SXMB_MONI no message was found. Any idea where the message was stuck? I check on smq1 in ECC also found nothing in the queue.
    Thanks.

    Hi ,
    KIndly check with the abap program if its thrwing any dump . If every thing is fine with ABAP program then might be its issue of RFC destination . check with transaction SPROXY are u able to connect and your sender interface is reflecting there if yes then double click on your interface open the proxy andthen click on GOto and click on connection test if nay issue is in connection then it will display the error here .might be some rfc DESTINATION is missing or authnetication error .

  • BPE_ADAPTER MESSAGE_NOT_USED Message is not used by any processes

    We need some help on BPM flow. We are at it for last 3 days without much progress. We are able to make sync call to same BAPIs and get data without any issue. However, with BPM we have this issue
    I am creating the simplest integration scenario as
    1.       HTML/HTTP-->BPM (Async)
    2.       BPM-->R/3 (Sync)
    3.       BPM-->File (Async)
    Created all required interfaces and mapping. I have some dummy mapping for first 2 cases. I am able to activate the integration scenario and Integration Process without any error. I am able to import it in integration directory successfully without any error. When I am executing the first async request from HTML client I am invariably end up with an error from sxmb_moni as

  • How to handle Changes in the Structure of Outbound Message.

    Hi Experts,
    I have a File2RFC scenario where the Outbound Message fields are (for e.g,) ID,Name,Loc, and Status. The structure of the xml file which needs to be picked by sender file adapter is changing each time based on the data entered by the user. I am sure this will fail in IS with RuntimeException in Message-Mapping transformation Error. Is there anyway to handle this kind of situation.
    Message Sample- 1 (Message Processed successfully as it contains all the 4 fields...)
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_Send xmlns:ns0="http://File2File">
       <root>
          <ID>1234</VesselID>
          <Name>PIUSER</VesselName>
          <Loc>System A</Type>
          <Status>1</Status>
       </root>
    </ns0:MT_Send>
    Message Sample-  2 (Message Failed with Runtime Mapping Exception in IS...'Loc' is missing)
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_Send xmlns:ns0="http://File2File">
       <root>
          <ID>5678</VesselID>
          <Name>SAPUSER</VesselName>
          <Status>2</Status>
       </root>
    </ns0:MT_Send>

    Hi Ravi,
    Thanks for the reply. I think changing the cardinality will not solve this issue. Because the file which is being picked by Sender file Adapter is changing its structure everytime based upon the values entired by the user.
    For example - In Message 1 User has entered all the 4 values...so the structure is full.
    Message Sample- 1 (Message Processed successfully as it contains all the 4 fields...)
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_Send xmlns:ns0="http://File2File">
    <root>
    <ID>1234</VesselID>
    <Name>PIUSER</VesselName>
    <Loc>System A</Type>
    <Status>1</Status>
    </root>
    </ns0:MT_Send>
    In Message 2 - user has entered only 3 values...Though I have kept Loc as 0 to Unbound it fails as there is no tag <LOC></Loc> here.
    Message Sample- 2 (Message Failed with Runtime Mapping Exception in IS...'Loc' Tag is missing)
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_Send xmlns:ns0="http://File2File">
    <root>
    <ID>5678</VesselID>

  • BPM Status "In Process" - Message reached ECC successfully ??!!!

    Hi,
       I need help to resolve one issue which we are facing : (this is kinda strange)
    ==========================================================================
    We are using a BPM in one of our scenario where acknowledgements are sent in and out from PI to ECC. The BPM is relatively complex.
    The issue we are facing is : -
    The BPM shows status "In Process" but the messages have reached ECC and the functional team has confirmed the receipt of the message. All the tables / databases are updated as desired. We were yet to receive the response from ECC but strangely the BPM is not completed but the message has moved out of PI to ECC and updated the tables!!
    My question is : - How come the messages reached ECC even though it showed that the BPM is not completed?
    ==========================================================================
    Action points which I have taken : -
    1.) I have digged in sxmb_moni_bpe and went through the messages in the payload couldn't find anything there which could have answered my question.
    2.) Matched the data and went through all the message flow comparing the time stamp - didnt find much here too!
    3.) The graphical message flow shows "Response from ECC" - in Wait state and a white block but still the messages got updated. Found it really strange!! .. If the BPM does not get completed, the messages should not move out!!
    ============================================================================
    workaround :-
    1.) I thought of putting a wait step and an exception that if the messages do not reach PI within the stipulated time, it will throw and error in PI. But still  the question needs to be answered as to "How come the messages reached ECC even though it showed that the BPM is not completed?"
    Kindly suggest.

    I didnt find anything much there .. and moreover it is a Production system where we faced the issue so anyway I did nt have access to it. We have confimed from ECC functional team on the same and have logically deleted the process from PI.
    Thanks anyway!

  • Question on - GWIA - Relay Host for outbound messages setting

    We are being forced to use a "centralized" message relay host due to
    State mandates. So . . . most everything is working except messages
    sent to comcast.net. For some reason the GWIA is trying to communicate
    directly with comcast.net (76.96.62.116). Here is my configuration
    (all my GW systems are GW 7.0.3 lastest service patch, NW6.5SP8 server):
    PO - on its own server
    PO MTA - on its own server
    GWIA MTA and GWIA - on their own server
    GWIA is configured to use "Relay Host for outbound messages:" -
    domain.com
    The following is from my GWIA Log showing where I sent a message to my
    comcast and hotmail e-mail accounts. For some reason, the GWIA is
    trying to send my comcast.net addressed message directly to comcast
    server instead of relaying thourgh my relay host. Is there some
    setting or config file I need to look at to see how this is
    happening?????
