Outlook keeps trying to send files that are too large

I'm using Microsoft Outlook on my Mac (first mistake) and I find that 4 or 5 files containg photos that I tried to send are causing problems because of their size. The problem is I can't find a way to delete them - as these files are not in Drafts or in Send folders and every time I open Outlook it tries (again) to resend. Can someone help please? How do I delete those files? Thanks

Open up Outlook and click on Window on the top menu bar and then select Progress. You should be able to cancel the emails from sending from here.

I am having a hard time just getting this to run. This is meant to run on tables that have been exported from IBM Doors. I'm not sure if that [having been exported from Doors] is the issue or if I'm just missing something when it comes to the
Rows attributes.

I have no idea what may have caused your MacBook to stop working, but from your description it kind of sounds like it may have started before you ran Software Update and installed the new Apps. Just the general slow feeling and bugginess is what tips me off. You said that you weren't sure if you had closed all open windows, that doesn't matter if the computer restarts itself. It automatically closes all other open applications when restarting.
As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue.

Can I delete tmp-archive files that are really large?

I have two extremely large files. I'm trying to take back some memory (only operating with 2 GB free space, and that's not good).
Ran Disk Inventory X to see my largest files, and found these two gems with 32.25 and 44.62 GB.
Now, I've been to one link I found discussing possible solutions:

However, I'm not super tech savvy. Basically, to try and see if another program would clean these up, I downloaded both TinkerTool System and Main Menu. Ran each of them, but neither cleaned up those files.
Are they essential files? Does anyone know if I can delete them?

In that location, there is usually just -caches and -tmp directories with no other folders.
Their presence would result from an old installation that has not cleaned up after itself.
Those two files have been there a long time; since 2011.
Given that you are short of disk space, deleting them would be a good idea, by dragging them to the trash, but you will need to be in an Admin account and you will have to supply your password to complete the operation, given that they have been installed by the system.

I have a laptop, and I am working on a flash file that is getting really big and is starting to mess up. If I work off a 2tb external drive will that make working on the file easier?

I doubt that the storage capacity of a drive is going to matter. Chances are that your laptop is not the ideal candidate for working on a large Flash file.

I would suggest using an outside product, such as PDF Splitter (FoxyUtils SplitPDF - Split PDF Files Online for Free), or just open up the document in Chrome, and print from your desired start to end page as a PDF. Then try uploading the file.
There is no internal workaround available in Acrobat.com yet, as after all, it is still in its beginning stages, unlike the Acrobat desktop application.
Wouldn't be a bad suggestion, I guess, though, for an improvement to make for a future version.

I've experienced my first external hd crash, and the only files i've left of several pieces are separated m2v and aiff that had been made for DVD StudioPro. Out of habit, I tend to combine PDF files in the Page Thumbnails pane by right-click then "Insert Pages" -> "From File". For me, this preserves the tags from both documents, although the tags may have to be moved into the right location (if I recall correctly the tags for the inserted pages get put at the end of the tag structure, regardless of where the pages are inserted), If I first put the tags for the document to be inserted inside a container tag like Section, it makes the process easier. Moving that set of tags to the right place is the only re-fixing that I recall having to do. What behavior are you experiencing?

Try force-closing Mail: double-tap the home button, locate Mail in the list at the bottom, tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap to close it, finish by tapping the home button. Then go the you email provider's webmail site (such as iCloud.com for @me.com mail), log into your account and delete any emails you find in your Drafts folder. Then open Mail again and see if it stopped trying to send.

Hi, arthur260, I presume you've solved this by now, but I came across this post looking for the same solution for my ipod nano. In my case the problem was that I had the box checked to "Enable disk use" under the options for the ipod. It immediately solved the problem when I unchecked this.

Every time I try to open a pdf file from a website or through an email it will not let me opne the file. I can open files that are saved to my computer but that doesn't do me much good in some scenarios. I run IE 10 on Windows 7 Home with Adobe Reader XI 11.0.04. I have tried unsinstalling and reinstalling. It works fine for a few days then the errors start again. HELP!

As I said - look whether your original file is damaged or not. If not, I wouldn't change it and find out what in your system makes it sound like it's clipping.
Good sound file, with volume maxed out. No need to change anything.
The same song clipped - no chance to repair.
