Hi Rohith,
When u use Printer LOCL, what is the message you are getting, if you are getting this message 'Spool request (number 0000021635) created without immediate output', then goto Menu-><b>System->Own Spool Request</b>, select the spool and click on the Print Icon in the application tool bar.
Cheers...

  • Output Device Used in Outputs

Dear SAPers, I have the following question / issue.
I don´t know how the system takes the printer from the output device set in the output condition record. Does anyone know why this happens?
When I print something the printer is taken from the default output device from the user master, because the output type has “S User parameters” in the print tab. ¿Should I change this? The other values are: 1,2,3,4,5,7,E, S and U.
I want to take the output device from the condition record (not from the user master record)!!!
    Thanks in advance!
    I will reward if helpful.

    Hi,
It's my first time to do this, just want to share...I go to NACE ...click V3 and condition records....select an output type....select the sales organization...execute...highlight the billing type....click the Communication icon at the upper left hand corner...encode or find the output device of your choice...check the print immediately.
    Hope this will work.
    Dont forget to save.

  • Settings to set default Output Device in FPCJ

    Hi,
System is taking LP01 as default Output Device instead of the custom made Output device(ZLOCL) while executing the Z smartforms using transaction FPCJ.
In user setting I have defaulted ZLOCL as default output device & desired page format type is also assigned to the smartforms.
Is there any other system/config setting to be done to make ZLOCL as default.
    Please advice.
    Thanks in advance
    Sunil

    Sunil,
Check your user profile using tcode SU3 and make sure you do not have LP01 there as your default OutputDevice. If you have it then your printing jobs will default on that.
    I hope this helps you.

  • How to set a default output device for FAX outputs

    Hi Experts,
Business requires to set a default output device for fax outputs ( Medium as 2 Fax medium ).
as fas as print output ( medium as 1 print medium ) is considered we can maintain output device in condition record--> communication
I tried maintaining output device in VP01 for my condition type based on sales org but it did not worked.
Can you please suggest ways to achieve default output device for fax outputs.
    Thanks,

Well, obvious solution would be to either update user profiles or change the output from 'process immediately' to 'process by a background job'. Then create a generic user ID with any fax number desired and use that user ID to process the output through the background job.
This is not really an SD question, so if this simple option doesn't work for you, I'd suggest to discuss other custom solution with your ABAP / Basis team.

  • I use a 2003 FW800 MDD desktop, with dual 1.25 GHz processors, and OS10.4.11, and with native Bluetooth card, won't recognize a newer Bluetooth Headphone set as an Input or Output device in System Preferences

I use a Mac 2003 FW800 MDD desktop with dual 1.25 GHz processors, 2 GB memory, and a native Bluetooth card installed. I use OS10.4.11.  The FW800 was the only MDD that could use Bluetooth natively, as an optional installation.  I use the installed Bluetooth to run an Apple Aluminum Keyboard, and would like to use it with a new (2010) Samsung SBH-600 Bluetooth Headphone set, but, although the set will pair with the computer, and is recognized in both the System Profiler, and the Bluetooth section of System Preferences, it is not recognized in the Sound preferences section of System Preferences as either an Input or Output device.  Only the installed external Apple speakers are recognized.  I'd like to know if there is anything that can be done to make the Bluetooth system installed work with these headphones - either something that can be changed in the computer settings, or an added external Bluetooth device with different Bluetooth capabilities.

It it may be that you are running either an outdated BT software or the firmware of the card is not up to date.
What version is your BT software? Is it later than 1.5?
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1209
    Firmware:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL354
Along with the firmware, it is likely that the headphones require a later BT revision than you are running. The headphones need rev.2.
You may need to move to Leopard for support.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL889
It also may be that headphone support is limited to iChat or the like in Tiger.....
If you go to a USB BT dongle, D-Link often gets the nod as having native compatibility in OS X.

  • How to set the default DVD Burner (output device) in DVDSP 4.2.2

For the life of me I can't find that click - default DVD Burner (output device) - but I can see where you can set it under both Build/Format and Format. Too bad it always goes back to the superdrive, which I never use. Thx!

ha! So I am not crazy on this one. The strange thing is that every once in a while when I open DVDSP, the external burner has become the default, and I can use the Burn click, but only until I do a reboot or shutdown. But obviously then there is nothing in the interface for setting a default. jvenzon, If you do a format and build you can choose, which is what I do each time, remembering to change the Destination to the external drive. Then say "reuse" when asked, and I think that does what the Burn click would do anyway. Cheers,

  • How to set up the output device in output determinatin with customer master

    Hi,
I am doing the output determination using customer master and not conditions technique.  Can anybody please let me know how to set up the output device . I have done the following:
    1)  assigned output determination procedure DB00001 to acct group 0001
    2)  added output type BA00 to customer master documents tab with print as the medium.
    3)  On creating a sales order and changing it its giving the message
BA00     515     No printer defined for output BA00
Please provide me with some suggestions , how to resolve this issue.
    thanx
    Jayant

    1. tcode V/30 -> check BA00 type -> goto  "print" tab -> what's set in the "print param." field?
    2. IMG ->SD -> basic functions -> output control -> define print parameters -> V1 output -> for BA00 output type -> Assign a default printer. This is related with the "print param." set in step 1.
For example: if "print parame." is set to '1' in V/30, then the default printer is assigned to sales organization.
You can check F4 search help on the "print param." field (in V/30) to see what options you have.
If you want to specify printer by customer account, you may need to use userexit.

  • FaceTime set Output Device

    Hi guys,
this question is not specifically related to Yosemite or Handsoff, but I noticed it the first time trying to make phone calls via FaceTime.
I got a iPhone 5s and a MacBook Pro Retina (Early 2013) – both updated to the latest OS version.
I was trying to use the new feature of iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite to make a phone call via the iPhone.
I've connected a 2.1 Soundsystem via Belkin Dock to my Mac and also a USB Headset.
FaceTime has the possibility to set the audio input device only for this app, but not the output device.
I would like to change the output device for any FaceTime calls (via iPhone or Internet) to the USB headset.
Is there a chance to set the audio in/output device app specific?
I think that it is a common problem, as I cannot imagine that anyone would use the build-in microphone and speakers in any office?!
Of course I searched for the problem, but didn't find anything useful.
    Kind regards
    caldi

You can get only a single document preview, I think. I have never tried, but I don´t think that is possible.
What you see is not the second document preview, but the last document in the batch, is that right?
You can experiment with the form bundling (bundling the forms when sending them to ADS improves performance), but I don´t think that will help.
Why do you need to do this "mass preview" anyway? Maybe you should create a tool to help the user display these preview. I am close to HR and can imagine a tool, which is used for mass personal profile forms. I would create a simple report, where you click on the line and get the document preview/ profile of the selected person.
Imho if you do the "mass" print/ generation, your task is to be fast and you target on the printer. If you work with a single form, then it is like "user-oriented".

  • How to set preferred audio output device on macbook pro mavericks

I've got a pair of Harman Kardon bluetooth soundsticks that I use as my living room speakers. Some time ago, I connected my macbook pro to them via bluetooth, and now whenever I restart my macbook or move it away from the apartment and then move it back, it automatically finds the soundsticks, connects to it via bluetooth, and sets it as the default sound output device.
I would like the soundsticks to remain connected whenever they're within range, but I want my macbook's internal speakers to be the default sound output even if the soundsticks are connected. I can't seem to set output device preferences in the sound preferences panel.

  • Set several printers as output devices when scheduling a job

    Hi experts,
I am working on ECC 6.0. I am scheduling background jobs through sm36 and I must configure 3 different printers as output devices, that is to say the output must go to 3 printers at the same time. I can not find how to do it. Could you please help me ?
    many thanks,
    Best regards,
    Guislain Libessart

    Hi,
I am really sorry, about those responses but it is possible. You will have to create a POOL printer for the same.
    Goto SPAD
    Create a New Printer with
Device type : It should be common for all those actual printer where the printing will happen.
    Device Class : Device Pool
(When you set this Device Class It will open one more tab "Device Pool" and the tab "Acces Method" will no more be there)
Goto the "Device Pool" Tab Add the printers to which the print will redirected to. And choose the option "Send to All Devices in Pool".
Now assign this POOL printer to the background job from which you want to print the outout to all those printers.

  • Setting up audio input/output devices

I'm running AA3 with an Alesis USB 2.0 mixer attached to my computer. I want the mixer to act as my audio input device, and the computer's soundcard to act as the output. Now, when using AA1.5, I could simply set the audio input device as the USB mixer, and the output device as the soundcard, and I could record and playback without any issue. However, when I go to set the mixer as my input device, AA3 also seems to want to make this my output device. I do not want the mixer to act as the output, I want all output to go through the soundcard. How can I make this distinction in AA3? Let me know if you need more information, I'll be happy to provide it.
    Cheers!
    Sean

    >So, while working in AA1.5, I'd arm a track for recording, hit record, and it would record the sound source I plugged into the mixer. Then I'd hit play, and it would play what I just recorded through my speakers, which are hooked into my soundcard. Then, I'd arm a different track for recording, and once I hit record, I would hear the track I'd just recorded playing through my speakers, while recording a new track, which was being brought in through the mixer. I'm still not entirely clear on why this isn't possible in AA3, or if it is, and I'm just missing something.
That's a different issue. And it's perfectly possible in 3.0, assuming that you have your sound device set up correctly to use ASIO, and Audition's input and output assignments set to use what's available in it. In fact there are more options in 2.0 and 3.0, because if you use the ASIO driver directly, you can use real-time monitoring
through Audition rather than through the mixer direct path (which is the usual way). The advantage is that you can add channel effects like reverb to the monitor mix, which often helps singers. This only applies to the monitor feed though - what's actually recorded is 'dry', so you still have all of the effects options available afterwards. To use this mode set the monitoring to 'Audition Mix'.
But however you look at it, the overall monitoring situation works fine - or believe me, just about every user going would have complained about it by now!
So, you can't really compare AA1.5 and 3.0 from a monitoring point of view - the ASIO situation makes them look somewhat different. 1.5 effectively ignores monitoring - it just uses the Windows APIs and DLLs to record, which is essentially what's provided by the operating system. And that's why it works with any sound device that the OS recognises. But with 2.0 and 3.0 you are entirely reliant on a system that bypasses most of the OS in order to work faster (lower latency).
One of the snags with this is that a lot of sound device providers that aren't producing what might be described as 'pro' devices - in other words the providers of on-board sound chips, and a few more besides - don't always provide anything like an acceptable ASIO driver for their devices, and that's why ASIO4ALL was developed.

  • Help, no sound, no sound output devices

    Hi all,
I tried this over in the Tiger section with little help. About a week ago I told my grand-daughter she could plug her iPod headphones into the headphone jack on the the front of the G4. Now, I have no sound at all except for through the headphones and only the headphones show up as an output device. I have tried trashing the "com.apple.soundpref.plist" and rebooting thinking that the OS would creat a new one during startup but that didnt work (there was TWO of them in there). I also tried trashing "com.apple.audio.AudioMIDISetup.plist" but that didnt help either. I put them both back where I found them later. Those files both belong in library-preferences right? I tried zapping the Pram but having no sound I didnt get a "bong" I just listened for it to rev-up twice, still no change. I also tried the PMU reset switch. I can change the volume level with no effect except for the headphones and the sound is not muted.
System Profiler does not recognize apple pro speakers that are plugged in, I do have sound sticks to try but they are boxed up in the garage.
So I am wondering if the phone jack got messed up by the iPod plug, a hardware issue, or does this seem to be software related problem? I did an archive & install today with still no sound so now I am thinking that the plug is messed up inside and still thinks the headphones are plugged in.
Does anyone out there have any advice to offer?
I am going to do surgery next to explore the headphone jack and the tiny speaker above it.

    Slimtech,
I don't have a solution for this, but maybe some comments might help a bit...
    com.apple.soundpref.plist and com.apple.audio.DeviceSettings.plist should be at /Library/Preferences.
    com.apple.audio.AudioMIDISetup.plist should be at ~/Library/Preferences.
The "Audio (Built In)" section under System Profiler for my QS G4 shows no attached devices, but merely shows information about the sound card itself, with three generic outputs listed as "Internal Speaker, External Speaker, and Headphones".
Normally, you should get a startup Chime from your internal speaker even with headphones plugged in, unless perhaps the sound setting is on Mute at shutdown, which sometimes will affect/mute the startup chime at the next startup.
I would think that if the Mac thought that the headphone were still plugged in after removal, your Sound Preference Pane Output window would indicate this. If the Headphones appear in the Output window when plugged in, then disappear when removed (refresh the window by clicking another Tab then going back to the Output Tab), the System obviously recognizes their removal. Apparently, it doesn't recognize the internal speaker that it's supposed to switch back to though, for reasons unknown to me.
You might try vigorously and repeatedly plugging/unplugging the headphone plug into the headphone jack, which helped clean up the jack and restore the sound on my G3 some time back.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

  • Audio icon in upper right menu disappears and there is no sound Went to Apple preferences which says there is no output device. I can't figure out what to do. Help!

There is a sound icon in the upper right menu which disappears and reappears. When it disappears there is no sound. Went to Apple preferences for sound preferences. When the sound icon is off, this page is not active. Says "mute" is activated and that there is no output device. Cannot fix this problem. How do I retrieve the sound icon and get sound back?

Hi Ronnie, anything in particular going on when this happens?
    Long shot, but...
Next time it happens... Open Audio Midi Setup in Applications>Utilities, see the input & output options & KHz setting there, some things will change it for their own use, then not set it back

  • How can I get my audio input and output devices back? I have no sound and cannot see any of the devices in Audio MIDI Setup..??

Hi, I tried to set up a new output audio device on my mac that would have multiple outputs (iBox Twist speaker and my internal speaker) but when I went to click onto one of the iBox Twist (there were 2 options available: iBox Twist and iBox Twist Stereo), Audio MIDI Setup crashed and when I finally got that back open, I found that there were no audio input or output devices to be found. My sound is working, as when I turn on my iMac, the starting sound still plays, however the volume control in the menu bar is no longer a black colour, but grey and when I try to change the sound on my keyboard it does not change. This already happened to me once, and after 3 hours I managed to fix it very simply (switching off Mac, unplugging power cord, leaving for 15 seconds, plug power cord back in and switch Mac back on, holding Alt, Cmd, P and R keys until you hear the Starting Up sound twice) however this same technique that fixed it once before is not working this time and I am still stuck without sound. I have tried Repair Permissions, rebooting in Safe Mode, Hardware Test and checking for Software Updates. Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it?
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me!

In case anyone has had the same problem as me, I have just managed to fix this by doing the following:
    Switch off Mac
Switch back on in Safe Mode (Hit power button, then hold Shift key until a loading bar appears at the bottom of the screen).
    Switch off Mac again
Remove power cord and wait 15 seconds
Plug power cord back in and hold down the keys alt, cmd, p, r all at the same time until you hear Starting chime for a second time and hopefully your audio will back.
