Output list in tree format!!!

Hi,
I want ouput in tree format. In the basic nodes, I want customer wise sales. Then if i expand that node then gives subnodes like 'finished goods' and 'trading goods' and so on. I want to know the procedure to achieve this task.

Printing ABAP List(Report output - SE38) in A3 format

I have a requirement to print the ABAP report in A3 page format. I am using LP01 printer and in in SPAD transcation I Changed the Tab "Output Attributes"
Paper tray = "Paper tray 3" and Tab "Tray Info" Tray 3 = "DINA3" still the report gets print in A4 page format.
Even i tried by changing the lize size and line count...still .... it prints in A4 format only.
Could you let me know what exactly I need to in order to print my report output in A3 Page format.

Report- formatting of output list. -urgent

Hi experts,
i have done report in where i hv to display more than 20 fiedls to display. I report output list is around 300 chacertes when i am prinint the report it is printing only 132 chac per page. Remaring 168 is not printing. How can i do this one. How to print total ouput in page. The max size of print page is 132 chac .

At start of the report program add LINE SIZE which will be required for your display examople
REPORT ztest_rep NO STANDARD PAGE HEADING
LINE-SIZE 1023 .
Above id the "ztest_rep program and line size will define the number of the characters that will be output as in this case it will be 1023 char...

Can we download output of alv tree ?

hi all,
i have a requirement to download the output of alv tree when it is collapsed (detailed). Can we download that ? i am using cl_gui_alv_tree class.

Standard Control does not give that Option . SO another option is to go to Print preview of the Entire Hierarchy view , then click System -> list -> Save -> local file and save it as spreadsheet . This wa entire data gets downloaded in excel in tree format .

i am displaying status (traffic signal ) in output screen in tree display but instead its displaying @08@ like text format....is there any need of conversion....
but it works in normal ALV grid layout.

You need to do the following three steps in order to have "status" indicators on your ALV list:
(1) Add a status or exception field to your itab definition, e.g.
TYPES: BEGIN OF ty_s_outtab.
TYPES: status(4) TYPE c. " status field for LED / traffic light
INCLUDE TYPE KNB1.
TYPES: END OF ty_s_outtab.

T.code FBL5N: a problem with the print of the output list

Hi All,
with reference to the t.code FBL5N, I have a problem with the print of the output list of the report.
When I execute the print, I obtain one customer for each page printed.
I wonder if is possible to obtain more customers for each page printed.
Could anyone help me?

Hi,
Though personally i havent tried this option, check the same
Go to Menu: Settings >> Switch List
This will make the value displayed in ALV format and then try taking print outs.

How to select the output list check boxes

Hi ABAP gurus,
   I am developing the on report, it display the output list, in that output list first column is Check box,
here i created the 3 Pushbuttons on application tool bar, one pushbutton is SELECT ALL, 2nd one is DESELECT ALL , 3rd one is CREDIT NOT CREATE,
here when i click on the Select all button it will select all the check boxs and click on the credit not button it will create credit memos for all the customers, if i select the one or more than one check boxs, it will not working means (Credit note will not be created for that paricular customer)

To show the list in complete format when creating an background job

I need to show the list in full format when after running a report in background.
In sm37 after the job run the the full list is not shown.
when I click on 'Show complete list 'it will show the complete list.
My requirement is I want this option in default .Is there any thing we can do by configuration or is there any chance of enhancement

Hi Subeesh,
It is one of the standard setting provided by SAP for extracting spool output.In most of the case it is sufficient. Incase of special requirement we can do as below.
In SM37,open the spool and click the icon Display in Maximum Width or (Shift+F4). Then the complete list will be displayed.

I think you have to click on the "Full Administration" button t see the option for "Page Formats"...
Also go to transaction SPAD,
in Devices / Servers tab press Output devices button
Double click on the device type of your printer
Press button Formats
and here you get a list of all formats for your printer

Adding fields to ALV output list in Tcode S_ALR_87012357

Hi,
I need your help to insert new fields in output at standard t-code S_ALR_87012357 for GST Report.
Report name is RFUMSV00.
The add/insert columns are
1)Vendor Description,
2)SGD Gross Amt(100% tax Reporting curr)
3)SGD Tax Base Amt(100% Tax Reporting curr),
4)SGD Input Tax(7% Tax Reporting curr) and
5) Value(100%Vendor Curr)
Could anyone help me how to do this.

Changing the field catalog should not add the new fields required in internal table (e.g. structure RFUMS_TAX_ITEM for items)
You could try to append a structure to those, and fill its value with FI_TAX_BADI_011 ?

We have background job , which creates a spool output in Internet Explorer format. Customer needs this in Excel format.
Wondering, if any authorizations to be changed for file type? or this is a set in program level?

Yes....Currently the customer email address is added to "Spool list Recipient" in SM37. This way, spool output is sent to customer through email. Currently it is in HTML format.

This will be very difficult for you.....
Since you are getting a time out error....it looks like, you are runnning this report in foreground....................
Try running it in background it will work...
ELSE....you have to fetch in small chunks....but the question is how will you do it. Since the USR02 only has BNAME as primary key...
Either put the BNAME as part of selection screen and fetch the data.....it will solve your problem....
Only fetch for those BNAME which is entered in the selection screen...

Need to download the report output list to a Excel file.

Hi,
I have a report output list, which i need to download to an Excel file, could any body suggest how to do this with out writing the ws_download.
My report data is coming from two internal tables, one internal table for left side reprt display and another internal table for right side report display, both the internal tables having the same fields.
suggest me how to combine these two internal table data in one internal table.
2 internal table structure is same but data is different.

in the o/p list use the below menu path.
LIST>SAVE/SEND>FILE,
then a pop-up window with different formates will appear,then choose u r required format.
