Output type based on type of invoice

Can anyone please let me know how to get the output type based on the type of invoice.

Hi,
It's completely possible.....
Create an different output type per layout...
Use output determination using the invoice type to select the relevant output type...Function module MESSAGING will be called from the Invoice program to determine which output types meet the conditions configured. Those output types will then be determined...

  • Output Type based on Region

    Dear All
    We are using ZINV Output type for Billing doc. And the access sequence 0001 with one table active i.e. 08 - Billing type.
    Now i want to change the title of the Invoice output from Tax Invoice to Retail Invoice based on the Region of the Delivering site and region of the customer.If the Region is same then output should be with title - Retail Invoice and if the Region is different it should be Tax Invoice. Can we maintain condition record on the basis of Region and output will come according to that.
    Kindly guide me on the same.
    Regards

    Hi
    Copy table 08 and create a new table, with fields, billing type and sales district.
    Now maintain condition records based on customer sales district. Based on that in condiiton records you can edit COVER PAGE description by double click on condiiton record.
    else second way is, hard code the text in ABAP print program of ZINV.
    try and revert.

    In order to display the contents of text (type) of an A/p  Invoice, you need to add an database field
    in the template of invoice as below
    Content Tab
    Source Type: Database
    Table: A/P Invoice - Rows
    Column: Text

  • Problem with pricing condition type in case of proforma invoicing

    Hello All,
    the problem is related to a pricing condition type in case of proforma invoice where the details are as follows -
    Name of Condition Type - ZADC - Add 10% on Cost                                         Access seq.   Z038 Diff
                                                                                    Plus/minus    A Positive
    Cond. class -  A Discount or surcharge
    Calculat.type -  A Percentage
    Cond.category - Blank
    Manual entries      D Not possible to process manually
    Amount / Percent - Checked
    Item Condition - checked
    Scale Basis - Quantity
    Currency Conversion - Checked
    Quantity Conversion - Checked
    This condition type has been kept as statistical in the pricing procedure. Still in the proforma invoice the condition type is not getting reflected automatically , whenever I am updating with " carry out new pricing " option the condition type is getting populated.In case of other commercial invoices this very condition type is getting populated automatically without any updates.Along with this point to be noted is that the Condition type in which the actual costi is captured has been kept active.
    What more needs to be configured or what are the changes to be done to populate the condition type automatically as statistical during the time of proforma invoicing?
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi,
    Kindly do the pricing analysis and check whether you have the following error such as
    Inactive condition type because of subsequent price,

    You cannot do that Zia, check below code:

  • Standard IDoc Type for Inbound NonPO Vendor Invoices - FB60

    What should be the perfect standard IDoc Type for Inbound NonPO Vendor Invoice posting. Tcode FB60.
    I found IDoc Type FIDCCP02 but the Function Module 'IDOC_INPUT_FIDCC2' for FIDCCP02 is not released.
    In the same way many other standard function modules like - IDOC_INPUT_ACLPAY, IDOC_INPUT_FIDCCH, IDOC_INPUT_ACC_INVOICE_RECEIPT and few more are not released.
    My question : If at all I have to use standard IDoc Type, Message type and Function module (Released) for Inbound NonPO Vendor Invoices, then what should be the solution from SAP ?
    Thanks,
    Veeru.

    Hi,
    IDOC_INPUT_FIDCC2 for FIDCCP02 works for us in ECC6.0
    If you want Automatic tax calculation functionality using FIDCCP02.. then FIDCC2 is not correct message type for you. In that case you should probably go for :
    Msg: INVOIC
    Basic type: INVOIC02
    FM: IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_FI
    Process code: INVF

  • Created column not showing in the Document Library View for a Custom Content Type based on Document

    We have a custom content type based of Document Content Type. The OOTB "Created" column does not show up in the view as well as in the Site Settings -> Columns.
    But it shows up in the Display Form and Edit Form of the Item at the bottom "Created at " by " " and "Modified by" at by ""
    Would anyone know how to make this column appear as part of the view ?
    thanks,
    Harsh

    Hi,
    They should by default be possible to add to a view. The only reason they would disappear from the UI if someone has changed the attribute of the Field to hidden = true. You can verify that with PowerShell and if so you can use PowerShell to revert the setting
    to false.
    $w = Get-SPWeb http://dev13$f = $w.Fields.GetFieldByInternalName("Created")$f.Hidden$f.Hidden = $false$f.Update()

  • How to trigger a form based on object type and process type

    Hi all,
    I am new into SRM.. I have been asked to develop a form by cloning an existing standard form..
    Using bbp_output_change_sf badi you can trigger the form by passing the object type but the scenario is such that depending on the object type and process type the new form should be triggered.
    The parameter iv_object_type passes the object type but how could i pass the process type ?
    In the badi I noticed an import parameter is_event that has a field called transction_type that carries the process type but this field never got populated when i checked using debugger.
    Please help as to how i can trigger the form based on the object_type and the process_type.
    Thanx in advance.

    Thanx again Jay Yang.. Well is there any possibility that you could get the items that were confirmed..
    Let me eleborate..
    Suppose in the PO u order an item for 10 nos and 5 gets confirmed and u return 2..
    Well in my case it is that i need to fill up a field Qty returned / Qty confirmed..
    I was able to get the number of items from the PO by passing the the passing the parameter to the FM "bbp_pd_conf_getdetaill"
    but i dont know how to get the number of items been confirmed..
    The quantity field in the line item structure gives me the number of items returned..
    Can u tell me how to get the number of items been confirmed....

  • Custom Content type based on "Link to a Document" does not open new folder in a dialog

    Hi,
       We have created a custom Content Type  based on "Link to a Document" (0x01010A) into a document library. When I use the New Document button on the ribbon, the "Link to a document" form appears on the same window, not as a dialog. If we
    use the "link to a document" content type it works fine.
      This issue occurs when creating the content type from the SharePoint UI as well as via XML (provisioning the content type).
       Is it a SharePoint bug or are we missing something?
    Thanks!
    Sergio

    Hi S3rgiones,
    I can reproduce your issue, when create a custom content type based on “Link to a Document” content type, create item using the content type, it will open the NewLink.aspx page in the same window not the modal dialog.
    In this situation, you can try to custom the content type and customize the form page for it, specify it in the content type customization, if this doesn’t work, you may need to custom the content type not inherit from the default link to
    a document, but customize it yourself.

  • Auto selection of  PO type based on  PR type

    Dear Gurus,
    I am placing question for the first time,  please guide.
    While using  ME21N   PO type should be automatically selected based on  PR type when PR number is refered while creating PO.
    I have configured  "Link purchase requisition - document type"  through  Define Document type .
    Above conf. has triggerd an error msg. in ME21N (useful to some extent).
    But we want system to automatically select PO type based on PR type  ( when PR No. refered in PO ).
    Thanks in advance
    Rammohan

    Dear sir,
    Auto creation of  PO will not workout,  since manual creation only allowed. Only auto PO type selection is required.
    Even PO type select in in SU3 & personal setting are made blank.
    Thanks
    Rammohan

    How do I need to amend my user type in order to suffice?

    >
    How do I need to amend my user type in order to suffice?
    >
    You will need to create two new TYPEs. One that has all of the columns of the TOSS.SEEKER table and the new SCORE column and then a TYPE that is a table of the first type.
    See the Example 12-22 Using a Pipelined Table Function For a Transformation in the PL/SQl language reference
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/appdev.111/b28370/tuning.htm#i53120
    Here is the first part
    -- Define the ref cursor types and function
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE refcur_pkg IS
      TYPE refcur_t IS REF CURSOR RETURN employees%ROWTYPE;
      TYPE outrec_typ IS RECORD (
        var_num    NUMBER(6),
        var_char1  VARCHAR2(30),
        var_char2  VARCHAR2(30));
      TYPE outrecset IS TABLE OF outrec_typ;
    FUNCTION f_trans(p refcur_t)
          RETURN outrecset PIPELINED;
    END refcur_pkg;
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY refcur_pkg IS
      FUNCTION f_trans(p refcur_t)
       RETURN outrecset PIPELINED IS
        out_rec outrec_typ;
        in_rec  p%ROWTYPE;
      BEGINModify
      TYPE outrec_typ IS RECORD (
        var_num    NUMBER(6),
        var_char1  VARCHAR2(30),
        var_char2  VARCHAR2(30));
      TYPE outrecset IS TABLE OF outrec_typ;to include all of the columns you need. Unfortunately you will have to manually list all of the columns of the TOSS.SEEKER table. If you expect to need this same structure in other places you should create them as SQL types instead of PL/SQL types.
    This example should be enough to show you how to change your code to do something similar.
