Override Update condition with trigger

Hi
I 've web app, and it runs an update command. But i realize in midnight, my update command's where condition is wrong. Can i manipulate this update command with instead of update trigger ?
for example
update mytable set sometext = 'bla' where field1= a;
bu my filed1=a condition always empty, can we change this condition ith trigger ?

As a trigger is executed in the db and not in your app it's really hard to help as you did not give any useful information.

Need to update the list item in the same sharepoint list with particular condition with Sharepoint Designer 2013.

I have one sharepoint list with huge data i.e with 20columns and more than 200 records with the fields .
Suppose lets consider there are A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H columns.
Now i want to create one form with the fields A,C,E.
When the user enter the existing data of list for columns A,C..based on C value the E column value should change and update that particular item in the list.
Please guide me without visual web part can we acheive this by Sharepoint designer 2013 or what would be the preferable solution.
Please help me on this as it is very urgent from me..

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to update the list item in the same sharepoint list with particular condition with Sharepoint Designer 2013.
I recommend to create workflow associated to the list and then start the workflow automatically when an item is changed.
In the workflow, you can add condition and actions as below:
If current item: C equal to Test1
Set E to Test2
Then the value of the filed E will be changed based on the value of the filed C.
In addition, if you create the form using InfoPath, you can add rule to the filed C as below:

If you restored your iPad as new, and it still didn't help, I don't know if anything in here will help. in any event, I have posted this boilerplate of suggestions many times in the past and the suggestions in here have worked for others at one time or another. Feel free to give them a try.
1. Tap the "waiting" icon and see if you can pause it. If it does pause, then tap it again and see if it will resume. If that works, repeat the same steps for each "waiting" icon.
2. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
3. Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. If you see a downloads tab in the lower right corner, then there is a download in iTunes.
4. If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
5. You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again. Apps may also be able to be deleted in Settings>General>Usage>Storage if you cannot get the X to pop up on the icon.
6. You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
7. Reset your router. Unplug it from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in again.

ID number;
When I insert a new value into the asia.MI ,I also can
insert the same value into the asia_p.id field.
I have write a trigger as follows but it does't work.

Auto update of timestamp with trigger

I have a timestamp data element that we want to be updated via a trigger whenever a row is inserted or updated.
My trigger looks something like -

before insert or update on "table"
for each row

create_timestamp is defined as timestamp(9)
everything compiles and we can insert data without problem but the create_timestamp element is null. What wrong here?

What version of Oracle are you using? If you are at 8i or lower, your column datatype should be DATE and you should be assigning SYSDATE to the value (e.g., select SYSDATE from dual;). I don't know the answer if you're on 9i.

Help me to update table with condition's

this table is an alert table which will update when the sql server down , not pinging and drive space low.
Every 15 mins the monitoring system run. if the any issue came then it will update the information in this table. if the issue not solved by 15 mins the table will update again with the same details..
I would like update tickeraised = Y only on first time and if i got same issue less then 30 min the it should not change to Y.. based on server name , type and message.
min >10 and <20 min if any value is there then the table should not update with same value. can any one help me with tsql query...

I done this--by doing some configuration changes.
Normally while doing Exports we are tempted to use the same sales area and accordingly we may give the combination of excise grp+series grp+export type in IMG>>>Logistics General>>>India>>>Business transactions>>>Outgoing excise invoices>>>Maintain default excise groups and series groups.
Once after removing the export type to your sales area combination--system will show this error--and we cannot even post the Excise invoices.(J1IIN)
I tried in my IDES--that with export type(Ex.Export under Bond)--with this assignment--i am able to post my excise invoices.
Once after removing this assignment of export type--again i am getting this error.
Actually i am not even aware why it is happening--almost after two months of struggle--i find this.
(i feel it is in the same way that we cannot even open/See a sales order by deleting sales group which was created&used previously)
i am sharing this because somebody may get a little help with my thread.

I have 3 entity and 3 views
DsitTelephoneView based on DsitTelephone entity based on DSIT_TELEPHONE database table.
TelUoView based on TelUo entity based on TEL_UO database table.
NewAnnuaireView based on NewAnnuaire entity based on NEW_ANNUAIRE database view.
I am using JHS to create :
A JHS table-form based on DsitTelephoneView
A JHS table based on TelUoView
A JHS table based on NewAnnuaireView
LIB_POSTE is a :
DSIT_TELEPHONE column
TEL_UO column
NEW_ANNUAIRE column
NEW_ANNUAIRE database view is built from DSIT_TELEPHONE database table.
Lib_poste is an updatable attribut in TelUo entity, DsitTelephone entity, NewAnnuaire entity.
Lib_poste is upadated in JHS table based on TelUoView
I added a trigger on my database shema « IAN » to upadate LIB_POSTE in DSIT_TELEPHONE database table :

- in JHS table based on NewAnnuaireView the lib_poste is not updated. if I do a quicksearch, I have an error:
oracle.jbo.RowAlreadyDeletedException: JBO-25019: The row of entity of the key oracle.jbo. Key [null 25588] is not found in NewAnnuaire.
25588 is the primary key off row in NEW_ANNUAIRE whose lib_poste was updated by the trigger.
It is as if it had lost the bond with the row in the entity.
Could you help me please ?

LSMW BAPI Open Sales Order Load - How to update conditions?

Hello gurus,
I was using the BAPI SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 to upload open sales orders. Wanted to overwrite the default PR00 pricing condition that gets pulled from the customer-material info record, with the price that was existing in the original legacy system when the order was created there. Used the E1BPCOND structure in the Idoc, but since there is no such thing as a E1BPCONDX structure(corresponding to the structure BAPICONDX in the origial BAPI) where you could specify whether the condition should be updated, added or deleted, it adds a second PR00 condition with the legacy system price. The original PR00 condition with the customer-material record price still stays there. Eventhough the order seems to be taking into consideration only the second one I added, to determine the total pricing, I am worried the original sitting there, might cause problems down the document flow. Is there a way to update the existing PR00 condition(rather than adding a new one) on the order, through some flag in the Idoc structure that I am not aware of?
Would greatly appreciate an answer ASAP.

Thanks and appreciate your taking your time to reply, Gerard, I guess my problem is, we are still on 46C, and the only message type available for this BAPI is SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT201. Just called a friend who is on ECC 60 who confirmed that the later version of this message type, SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT202 has the E1BPCONDX structure. I don't have that option since on LSMW it automatically defaults to the only message type(and method CREATEFROMDAT2) that is available, when you choose business object BUS2032. Guess I am out of luck, unless you have any other options to suggest.

Help with trigger

Dear All,
I have a trigger that works fine when the value is updated by a user but when the value is updated by another trigger it does not seem to work.
When i log in and update the value in sqlplus it works fine but when I update a value in another table which then calls a trigger which then updates that value in the main table the trigger does not fire.
This is the scenario. We have a table called payments. When we run a process it sets some values in this payment table.
When this value is set in the payments table it fires a trigger which then updates the invoice table (paid_date) based on some value in the payments table.
Now when this value in the invoices table is set by the trigger it is meant to call another trigger which should recognise this new value but this does not hapen.
however if i go in manually and update the invoice table, the trigger fires.
Any help will be appreciated.

The following demonstration is a direct response to your original question, in case you want to stick with that method of scheduling your index rebuilds through a trigger. In order to do ddl like alter index you will need to use dynamic sql like execute immediate. Since you can't rebuild the index before the insert or update has been committed, you will need to use dbms_job.submit to schedule the rebuild. In the following example, the index rebuild will be done as soon as the insert or update has been committed.

MacBook Pro battery had accumulated more than a 1000 charges, and stopped functioning unexpectedly. Went and got the battery replaced. Just saw that SMC Firmware 1.6 update deals with this. Possible to get my money back?

The firmware update corrects an error that may occur, however the techs would have checked the condition of the battery prior to installing a new one. If the battery was questionable, the firmware update was really not too important.
You can check the battery condition by going to the apple, left side of the menu bar, About This Mac, More Info, System Report, Hardware, Power and see what it says about Cycle Count, Condition, Capacity: Condition anything but Normal needs to be checked and may need to be replaced.
The cycle count of 1,000 charge cycles is the typical life of a Lithium-Ion battery, the point at which the capacity drops to 80% of the as built capacity.

I'm using Iphone 5 .After updating it with the latest software i.e iOS 7.0.6 I'm not able to see the wats app and imsg on my notification until and unless i activate the "Show on Lock Screen" which was not same as in the earlier software version.Help plz

I'm using Iphone 5 .After updating it with the latest software i.e iOS 7.0.6 I'm not able to see the wats app and imsg on my notification center when my phone is locked until and unless i activate the "Show on Lock Screen" under each application. which was not same as in the earlier software version.I dnt want my messages or watsapp msges to be displayed on home screen when locked but should be displayed on the notification center on lock condition.
Please suggest a solution or @Apple please get a software release which can remove this bug .

We aren't Apple, just users like you. Have you tried a reset? Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

How to reset a count variable in a conditional format trigger

I am using a conditional format trigger to eliminate sections of a report where there is no data. The trigger is automatically generated by reports (shown below). the condition is :com_count = '0' therefore no record, no display of section - if :com_count>0 then data present and display record.
It works fine eliminating the sections - until actual data is found - and count is set to 1 and it displays the record. The problem is that once :com_count >0, then the section displays throughout the rest of the report whether there is actually data or not.
It seems that :com_count needs to be reset to 0, but when I try to do that, it throws an error stating that :com_count is a read only variable.
I am new to PL/SQL so can anyone suggest how I can reset the :com_count to 0 each time the trigger fires with :com_count = 1?

wher is your COM_COUNT defined?
If should be defined in the datamodel in the "mastergroup" of the "detailgroup" of which you want to count the records.
If you do so, there is a property of the item "Reset at" ( which is by default set to "Report") and you then can change it to the name of the mastergroup. So every time a new record is "active" in the mstergroup, the count-item will be reset to 0.

RM06INP0 not update conditions price

Dear.
I run report RM06INP0.
I have verified that this program update the net price of the info-record from the last purchase order.
But the conditions prices (PB00 and RA00) of the info-record arenu2019t updated.
Do you help me in order to solve this problem ?

RM06INP0 will only take the last PO price if there are no conditions in the info record.
It will never update conditions.
It will only update the price field that you see in purchasing data view before you go into the conditions.
Example:
if you maintain today (may) a price for May and another one for June in conditions, then the may price is updated as well in the EINE table (the net price field in info record purchasing data view)
This EINE table price is not automatically updated with the june price if the date turns into June. You have to run RM06INP0 on June 1st to make this happen.
This is the prupose of this report.
