Ovi player doesnt connect to internet

i have very strange problem. i was using ovi player before then one day ovi player come up with the updates and i updated the software. i selected india as a music store but now my ovi player is not able to connect india music store and even on internet explorer tab bar when i typed http://music.ovi.com/in/en/pc,
it losts the internet connectivity, whereas i am able to open other countried music store in ie tab bar but i can not open any music store in new installed ovi player. i tried everything i uninstalled the prog, clean the disk with ccleaner, delete the music data store files, but no success.
can any one help me with this?

C3 doesnt connect to internet whitout reboot

I bought Nokia C3 for my wife.
I configured the phone correctly with gprs and wifi settings.
After configuring the device I checked the connections and they were working OK.
However every so often she says that she cannot use internet.
G icon is on top which says that its connected to gprs network but when trying to access facebook app or opera it doesnt load anything.
When this happens it doesnt connect to wifi also - it doesnt find any networks in range.
The only way to get it working is to reboot the phone and then its working fine for some time.
IMHO its a fw problem. If it is I will probably send the phone back as this is quite annoying fault.
Is anyone else experiencing similar issue ? Is there any solution for that ?

Well before head back to the store may i suggest maybe making wifi the main access point ! if that doesn't work or possibly maybe you can downgrade on firmware. i have 3.35 on my phone and i don't have this issue. Or what you can do also is get a exchange. see if other one works. its worth a try.

Ovi won't connect to internet

I have a problem connecting my laptop to internet via Ovi/bluetooth/E71. It used to work fine, but now when I click 'connect to Internet' nothing happens - ovi does not respond at all, but does not freeze. Reinstalled Ovi deleting all nokia folders and cleaning registry, reinstalled bluetooth modem - it does not help. Synchronizing via bluetooth works fine, also modem query shows correct results. Does anyone know thje solution?

I'll got the exect same problem, both on my desktop and laptop (both running windows 7)used to work fine now nothing happens at all. did get it to work on my laptop by using the USB cable.

Ovi Suite silently connecting to Internet via Phon...

Since upgrading to Ovi Suite (2.2.1.23) I've found that it will silently connect to the Internet via my phone (E72) if there is any interruption to my wifi connection. I guess that it's tyring to do something "smart" and keep my connection alive, but at the expense of my mobile data plan.
I've managed to spot this as the speed drops markedly, but I don't think that I'd be so lucky if I was in an Internet cafe etc. where the difference in service might not be so great.
I haven't seen anyone else report this exact issue, although Ovi Suite does seem keen to connect via the phone instead of established Internet for some operations.
So have I missed something in the setup that can stop this?

This seems to be working now. I tried today to download US maps and it completed and installed without any issues. Guess there was some problem with the map server.

Illustrator CS3 crashes when I print on Mavericks operating system, adobe update manager doesnt connect to internet

Apple say its a compatibility issue with Mavericks and will probably work with updates, but the updater comes up with the error message "No internet connection. Check internet settings/or firewall." Any advice?

Ovi Player Login

Have upgraded Nokia Music Player to Ovi Player. Seems to install ok. Click on SIgn in button and no login window appears. Can not see anywhere to enter login details. Please help.

Do this:
- Go to your control panel and go to "Add/Remove Programs"
    - Uninstall the ff:
        *Nokia Ovi Player
        *PC Connectivity Solution
        *Nokia Multimedia Common Components
        *Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver
- IF YOU'RE USING WINDOWS XP, DO THIS:
    - Go to My Computer > C:\Documents and Settings\<<Windows Username>>\Local Settings > Application Data, then delete the NOKIA folder.
    (If you can't find the Local Settings, click on Tools > Folder Options > View > Show Hidden Files and Folders)
- IF YOU'RE USING WINDOWS VISTA, DO THIS:
   - Go to My Computer > C:\Users\<<Windows Username>>\AppData\Local, then delete the NOKIA folder. (If you don't see the AppData folder, change the Folder Options to Show Hidden Files and Folders as well.
**After deleting the NOKIA folder, reinstall the Ovi Player application to this link:
http://musicstore.nokia.com/download.aspx
**Save the .exe file on your desktop so that it would be easier for you to see it.
(Note: Running and not Saving might cause the appliation to crash again. So better save the .exe file first).
Upon installing the application, you will see the Welcome note from the ovi Player. It has three questions. Selecting your location is very important because if not, you will have difficulties downloading and purchasing songs.
This should solve the issue. Proven and tested ^_^

OVI Player not detecting 5800 XM

I have installed letest version of OVI suite and OVI player.I connected my phone to PC in 'Media Transfer' mode but OVI player is not able to detect my phone. Even when I connect my phone in 'PC Suite' mode, OVI suite is not able tranfer or read tarcks from my 5800. In PC suite mode I can use Windows Media Player 11 to transfer music. I have tried this on two different systems having Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista Home Premium, but OVI player is not able to detect my phone.

I have noticed a few random times that when I connect my phone in modes other than PC Suite mode, Ovi Suite sometimes overrides my choice and reverts to PC Suite mode. This has caused ma a few problems with Ovi Player. To check if this is the case with you, connect to the PC in media mode and then go to the connection settings a few seconds later to make sure that it is still in the mode you selected.
If not, then check in your PC's device manager - sometimes Windows detects the phone as an imaging device (ie: a digital camera) when you connect in media transfer mode. If this is the case, you need to remove your phone from the imaging devces section in Windows' Device Manager then reconnect the phone to the PC and allow it to reinstall drivers. In some worse-case scenarios, users have needed to repeat this several times for WIndows to pick up the phone correctly.

Ovi Player can not connect to internet

I installed Ovi Player, connected my phone X3-002 to PC and now trying to access Ovi Music.
I get message "We are very sorry but we cannot access the Music Store at this time. Please check your internet connection or try again later". It has been so now for 3 days.
I have 64bit Windows 7 and I'm on 3,5G mobile broadband connection. And the internet is fine, as I am connected to internet and posting here..

did figure this. at registration i chose UK as my country 'cause was afraid I'll get stupid localized page in non-english language, I had to change it to same country as I chose at player and it worked.

Ovi Player connect over Bluetooth

How do I connect Ovi Player using a Bluetooth connection?

The Ovi Player cannot use Bluetooth connection at all, whether this will change remains to be seen.
Ovi Player needs the phone connected to the PC using Media ransfer mode, I'm not sure if this mode is even compatible with Bluetooth which may be the reason.

I found a solution! (at least, for my platform; Windows XP Home SP3, Firefox 4.0.1) =) Go to http://labs.adobe.com and download the Release Candidate 1 version of Adobe Flash 10.3.181.5. I swear, the Second I installed this, it worked INSTANTLY xD. Best of luck to you! (and anyone else who sees this =)

Ovi maps connecting to internet at start-up

I don't want Ovi maps on my N8 to connect to internet at start-up, All settings are unmarked at positioning. My servicepoint says, it cannot be done, to prevent Ovi connecting at startup with the latest update, Anna, 024.001
Is this true or not?
I tried everything but I cannot get rid of it.

Seems Nokia is so selfopinionated that they think that everyone must connect to the internet.
But if I want to, I like to know for myself if I like to be connected to the internet or not, I want to choose myself, not nokia.
I have had Nokia's for years and years but if the competition comes with a phone, with the same camera quality, I will never buy a nokia again. Same is with the OVI program, it misses the option to work around in my agenda on my pc via bluetooth. Lucky I found out that PC suite v7.1.30.9 does still do that with the N8.
And last but not least, bluetooth is not working properly, communicating with my PC and my car. 5 times out of 10 it won't connect with my pc. I've to disable and enable bluetooth on my phone and then it connects with my pc. In my car, it looses connection while calling, after 3-10 minutes.
To bad because I do like the N8, for the rest.
Think I'll wait for the next update to Belle, if it will come for the N8 and see what happens.

Connecting to internet with OVI Suite

I received the message that the Ovi Suite was available to download. After replacing PC Suite with Ovi, everything seems to work well, except one crucial thing: I can no longer connect to internet using my mobile. This worked perfectly with PC Suite.
The instructions reads that in the main page, I should be able find a internet-connection at the right side. Well, I don't find this option.
The other option is to go to tools -> connect to internet. Well, this option is in the menu, but it is greyed out and not possible to select, even if my computer is not connected to the internet.
The phone model is N82.
Can anybody help with this?
