Issue with ovi support page. issue with bought app...

first if all i cannot fill inn support form just becasue when im choosing issue tipe page is redirecting and i cant chose the issue tipe! email on [email protected] is also fails
i ve got some problems with ovi store. some apps which were bought while ago (they are showed in my content bookmark in phone ovi store), but when i try to redonload them it tells me that i must buy them again! i ve got all confirmation emails with numbers of my apps.
strangeness lies in the fact that all the apps which i try to redownload are newer versions than i had. but i repeat ALL this apps are showed in my content, and they were bought by me.

Have the same problem.

OCP Support Form issue

It's very annoying that on Oracle Certification Program (OCP) Support Form site ( http://education.oracle.com/pls/eval-eddap-dcd/OU_SUPPORT_OCP.home?p_source=OCP ), the multiline text item "Question/Problem description" is limited in size, so if i enter more text than allowed, i get: An error occurred: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small. Please try again later.
And i did not write so much in that field, but described my actual problem in that SR. Please extend that field, allowing more characters, because often, maybe candidates should explain clearly and concise the problem, and this maybe require more text.

Oracle 10g express edition can support forms 6i & reports

I have installed oracle 10g express edition and installed forms 6i. while connecting forms 6i into ora 10g express edition it is not connecting in windown xp platform.
It is showing only "dont send error". I want to know oracle 10g express edition can support forms & reports.
Please give me solution.

Smart Form problem with address layout

Hello everyone,
I need your help please for a smart form problem. We need the address layout for great britain with street1, street2 etc. but currently street2 is alligned before street1.
We are using the FM ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM (SAP standard address node) and according to the documenation the layout for GB is different as we see it currently.
We have checked the sold-to and all contact persons, they have as country GB and language EN maintained.
In customizing for address screen layout there is nothing chosen (tested to set up Europe, but did not change anything).
For the customizing 'specify my countries...' we have maintained GB as country with the address layout key 006, vehicle country key GB and language key EN.
For the described setting shouldn't there be designed the address in our smart forms according to 006? Anyhting in customizing we missed?

ADDRESS_TYPE - Address type (from 3.0C)
There are three types of address:
Address type '1': addresses of firms or organizations; the address
structure which is used in most SAP applications as 'Address'.
Address type '2': address of a person
Address type '3': work address, usually the address of a contact person
in a company
The default value SPACE for the address type is handled like type '1',
and is needed for the upwards-compatibility of the function module.
Which parameters are used for which address type is explained in the
ADDRESS_TYPE parameter documentation.
The three character "address layout key" of the recipient country (LAND1) controls which of the available country-specific routines is used to format addresses for the country in question. This key is stored in field T005-ADDRS and is entered in Customizing under Global settings -> Set countries -> Define countries, on the detail screen under "Address layout key".
Keys for customer routines in the SAP enhancement SZAD0001 can be
maintained via the transaction SM30 (extended table maintenance),table
name T005A, in the customer name range, and be assigned in country customizing.
The address attributes are passed in the structures ADDRESS1 (type 1), ADDRESS2 (type 2), ADDRESS3 (type 3) or ADRSWA_IN (type SPACE).
NUMBER_OF_LINES (ADRSWA_IN-ANZZL)
The number of lines available for the address layout. If the number of
lines is not sufficient for the complete layout of an address, then
lines are consecutively suppressed according to the rules of the country in question. Use the parameter LINE_PRIORITY (ADRSWA_IN-PRIOR) overrules the standard sequence in which the output lines are to be suppressed.
LINE_PRIORITY (ADRSWA_IN-PRIOR)
If not equal to SPACE, this field overwrites the standard sequence in
which the lines are suppressed if the available number of lines ANZZL is
insufficient.
The standard sequence is defined as follows:
Type 1:   'AP43HRT7I86LC2BS5O'       (GB: 'APRT4327I86CBS5LO')
Type 2:   'APHRT7I86LCBS5O'          (GB: 'PRT7I86CBS5LO')

Muse CC 2014 contact web forms problems

Hi I recently created a website using muse cc 2014 and I uploaded it to the hosting server a free one at freehosting.com I set up everything I know of and when I uploaded the site using muse it gave a error message saying something about PHP mail??? I setup the mail account for my admin user and entered that in the muse contact form. If I test the contact form I do not get the messages and I even added a email to have it forwarded to my yahoo account. If I go in my email account and enter the hosting email account I however do see the message on the server's webmail page and it gets forwarded to the email I set to be the forward email. I checked everything and I'm really confused as what needs to be done. I also submitted a ticket asking customer service they have yet to respond. To note I'm using a free hosting company as it's just a personal website that I don't need all the fancy stuff just the basic needed components to make it work. my website does show up and the pages work EXCEPT the contact form which is needed and important. I ran the script and this is the results

What would be the fix or proper setup for the "SQL configuration problem?" I too am having form problems on a third party host, and after checking the PHP diagnostics, the "php version" reads ok, the "mail configuration" is ok, but the SQL configuration is not.
I guess I just need to know what I need to communicate to the hosting administrator about the SQL so they will configure it properly.

Forms 9i will not support Forms 6i functionality (OLE etc)

Reading the latest "Features obsolescence in Oracle9i.pdf" it appears that Oracle intends to make conventional client-server runtime .fmx obsolete in the 9i release.
Does this mean that it will no longer support key functionality in current Forms6i applications, which in our case run on Windows 2000 workstations accessing central Oracle databases?
Some functions no longer supported appear to be:
- native host commands on the Windows 2000 PC
- use of Oracle Graphics
- OLE2 (links to excel, outlook, word etc)
- OCX/ ACTIVE X controls
- not sure about printing to the Windows 2000 PCs local printers from Forms or Reports.
Does anyone know if this is correct, and if yes how long will Oracle continue to support Forms 6i and Oracle Graphics?
Does this functionality need to be re-written using JAVA ?

Lets try and address your questions.
"native host commands on the Windows 2000 PC " - you can still run host commands but you must remember that in a
3 tier environment the code is being executed on the middle tier application server. So a host command to list the
contents of a directory and output to a file would list the files on the app. server and not the client (although in most cases you can
achieve the same functionaliy using a Java Bean and we have published loads of exampled on the forms samples page
website)
"use of Oracle Graphics " -as per the obs paper you can still achieve this on the web but you are also openning up to
opportunity to use a whole host of charting beans.
"OLE2 (links to excel, outlook, word etc) " - you can still use OLE so long as there is not screen interaction - and
remember the OLE will be running on the app server and not the client. If you want to call word and excel you can simply
use a web.show_document("filename.doc") while will open the document on the browser (if you have the correct MIME
type installed).
"OCX/ ACTIVE X controls" - strictly speaking no since these are platform specific proprietary controls and the Forms UI
is running as a Java UI which is platform agnostic. However, we have proved that you can do this by writing a Java wrapper
around the control and embedding that. The Java equivelant would be a Java Bean or Pluggable Java Component which
are dead easy to integrate into Forms.

can do this and anyway, if you are viewing reports in a browser you can just print from the browser to the local printer.

a single line of code or even regenerate, you can deploy on the web - its that simple.
Sure, there are some things you may want to re-write but this is the same with any change of platform (infact most of your
questions about OLE, OCX would be exactly the same for moving to Unix/Motif).
Just think of webdeployed Forms as EXACTLY the same as client server except for the bit which draws the UI is on a
third tier, - all the back end database and business logic etc is exactly the same.
I hope this helps and remember that a huge customer base has already moved to the web with great success .

Assuming you registered your older version, you can retrieve the serial number by going to Adobe's site and go into your account. On this page, click the My products link in the right hand column of the first three. You'll be asked to enter your user account name and password. Once in, a list of all software you've purchased will be shown, along with their serial numbers.
That said, it really won't help you much. A PowerPC only version of InDesign means it's no newer than the original CS version, and won't be worth a cent towards an upgrade discount. To get CS6, you'd have to pay full price again.

Nokia Ovi Player License Problem(Need Help Asap)

I am using nokia ovi player to download songs as I have gt the license to do so since i bought an X6 but now after i have restored my laptop i was told to redownload DRM by the ovi player.The problem is it does not want to download DRM as an error comes out that states it is not authorised to use the computer.Can anyhere here help me to solve this problem??

@teishi: If you have been in contact with the contact centre, and they have confirmed that the device you are using is in fact associated with your account, next step would be for you to delete the "drm folder" on your PC:
DRM is an acronym for Digital Rights Management, a broad term used to describe a number of techniques for restricting the free use and transfer of digital content. DRM is used in the Nokia Music Store application. Occasionally you may receive an error which specifies a problem with the Digital Rigths Management.
This problem suggests that the DRM component of Windows is corrupt and is not recognising that you have a license in order to allow you to play, burn or transfer the tracks that you have downloaded. In order to correct this error message you will need to reset the DRM folder on your PC. This is accomplished by first renaming the folder and then relaunching the track you are having difficulty with. To complete this process first close the Nokia Music application and/or Windows Media player then follow the steps below:
Double Click on My Computer.
Double click on C: The DRM folder in both Windows XP and Vista is hidden by default so you will need to take the following steps to make it visible:
Click Start, then Run.
Type control folders in the box and press Enter.
In the window that appears, select the View tab.
Select Show hidden files and folders.
Deselect Hide protected operating system files/folders.
Deselect Hide extensions for know file types
If you are using Windows XP, Browse to C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/DRM for Vista go to C:/ProgramData/Microsoft/Windows/DRM
Right click on the DRM folder and choose rename.
Rename the folder to DRMBACKUP [or something similar] Occasionally, attempting to rename this folder will cause an Access Denied error. If this occurs, follow the below steps otherwise continue to step 6.
Reset the DRM security component by going to http://go.microsoft.com/FWLink?LinkID=34506 and Clicking upgrade to upgrade the DRM security component Note: If the Upgrade button is greyed out You may need to install the Active -X control by right clicking on the security banner at the top of the windo and choosing Run Active X Control then clicking Run when the security window pops up.
Note: When you access this site through Internet Explorer on a Windows Vista-based computer, you may receive a user account control popup message that requires that you enter the administrator password to continue.
Note: If you are running Windows Vista x64 and the Upgrade button on the site listed earlier in this step appears dimmed, you will have to start Internet Explorer by using an account on the computer that has Administrative privileges in order to continue.
If the DRM protected tracks from Nokia Music Store are now played, your system will perform a security upgrade, which resets all the necessary DRM files. Each track requests a new license when first played.
If you are still receiving the error message, the DRM component can be manually installed from http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/crlupdate/en/crlupdate.html (Use Internet Explorer for this link). Once upgraded, try to play your downloaded tracks again. Each track should then request a new license when you first play it and will then play as normal and should be burnable to CD This will download new licenses for your entire library.

Apple does not block/track lost/stolen iPhones, nor does any other phone manufacturer. Blacklisting of phones is done by the carrier, so contact yours to see if they offer such.

Oracle Still Supports Forms 4.5/5.0?

I understand that Oracle will no longer support Forms 6i after 2006 (or 2008 with Extended Support). How about old Forms 4.5/5.0? When will Oracle de-support Forms 4.5/5.0 applications? I need this information to make decisions on migrations.

Forms 5.0 is no longer supported at all.
Forms 4.5 is out of normal error correction support and is currently in Extended Assistance Support until 31-Dec-2003.
Extended Assistance support means:
* Answers to customers' questions
* Assistance with migration plans to a supported platform and/or product
* Workarounds, where possible
But does not include:
* Error Correction Support (ECS) - No new bug fixes
* Backporting of fixes
* Certification with supported products, newer operating system versions or new compilers
* Escalation support, response time adherence and skill availability

HP support form 3524463

Have photosmart 5520 running on windows 7 64 bit. After replacing HP black ink cartridge will not print black ink only. Have cleaned print heads 3 or 4 times. Ink level shows black ink full and others with adequite ink. On diagnostic page black ink box is white and print is in brown. When set item up to print and nothing happens I go to devices and printers and ask to see what is printing it then shows 3 documents in que, no printing in black ink. When I put arrow on that it shows HP support form 3524463. When I call that up on support page it shows that nothing is there. Any ideas what to do next would be appreciated!

I noticed your post about the black ink no longer printing from your Photosmart 5520. I would suggest troubleshooting by following the steps in the guide below. If the black still will not print, I would at that point suggest calling HP to see about your replacement or trade in options.

Last release of Application Server that supports Forms

Hello Everybody,
I heard that Oracle plans to give up Forms. Could someone tell me what is the last release of Application Server that supports Forms?
Or where could I read more on the issue?

you see, questions like this were very emotional discussed.
The first time I hear "forms is dead", when Oracle went from charactermode forms 3 to forms 4.0.
Each big new release and "forms was dead"
I bet, that I'll hear this the next 10 or 20 years! And then (maybe) java-developer are so productive developing their applications like forms-developer do it today.
