OVM 3.2.2 Upgrade - OVS account password

I just downloaded the OVM 3.2.2 upgrade and started running the runUpgraded.sh script. I can't seem to get past the password prompt for the ovs user account for MySQL.
I've tried every password I could possibly think of. Is there a pre-defined password for the ovs account in MySQL?

Nevermind, uninstalled and installed 3.2.2
Once I read this during the install, I knew what I had done wroing with the upgrade password.
One password is used for all users created and used during the installation.
Enter a password for all logins used during the installation:
Invalid password.
Passwords need to be between 8 and 16 characters in length.
Passwords must contain at least 1 lower case and 1 upper case letter.
Passwords must contain at least 1 numeric value.

FileVault asking for old account password when upgraded to Mountain Lion

This is not good.
I recently updgraded to Mountain Lion.
After the upgrade process, my account log in no longer was accepted by FileVault. (FileVault Legacy)
The system is stating that:
" Your user accont password is different fomr your FileVault Password
This can occur if your user account password was changed recently. To update your FileVault password and continue loggin gin, enter your old user account password"
Yet, the last time I changed my password was perhaps over 1 year ago, certainly not recently, and defenitely after many OS upgrades?
How can this happen??
Now I can not access any files (Am I expected to remember a password from 1year+ ago?) ... Major Fail.
Anyone having the same issue or a tip to get out of this crazy loop?

Repair your permissions, go to applications then utilities, then disk utility. On the left hand side click on mac HD, then click repair disk permissions. Restart your computer and test again once permissions repair is complete.

Keeps prompting me for POP account password, despite using Keychain

I have three pop accounts setup in Mail. Ever since I upgraded to 10.5.6 I've had a problem where Mail will frequently ask for the pop account password, even though I told it to keep the password safe in the Keychain. What on earth is causing this?
Sometimes I'll see a new email come into the inbox, only to then be prompted with the password. What good is asking for a password after the email has already arrived? This is really weird!

After upgrading to Lion, several old user accounts appear on my login list (all of which are administrator status.) I tried to save the settings to automatically log in to my most current account, but the password does not match, and I think I will have to reset it. Resetting my master password did not make a difference, and in System Preferences/ User & Groups, I selected "Allow user to reset password using Apple ID" but cannot find any resetting options from there. I have one computer and one iTunes library and two devices hooked up to it. But I have to apple IDs a different one for each of the two devices. When I try to buy or update something using my account and password it asks for the other account password so I can buy or update anything. I can log into this website using my accountant it recagnizes me but i still can't get it to work on the App Store . I don't know I'f this matters but I just updated to iOS 6 and then tried it and it wouldn't work. Before I updated it , when I would try to get an app or something it would still ask me for the other password , but if I pushed cancel then it would ask me do mine and then it would work , but it doesn't do that anymore. If I push cancel it just cancels and does nothing. I hope you can give me some suggestions, I really need your help:)

My email password and my verizon account password are the same? Are you SERIOUS?

The other day I did something I never do, actually log into my verizon account. I hate the verizon interface, I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than use it, but every now and then I have to use it to handle a bill. So, of course the password that I remembered setting on it didn't work. So I jumped through the hoops to reset the password, conducted my business, and left the site, hopefully not to return for a year at least.
Lo and behold, the next time I tried to access my email (which I use Thunderbird for, and don't tell me it's not a supported client, it works fine, and no I'm not going to use Verizon's webmail interface), it won't accept my email password. Now, this password HAD always been distinct from my verizon account password. But...telling myself, "Oh no they didn't," I tried using the new password that I'd set for my online account. Surprise! It let me into my email!
Now, this morning, neither the new password nor my old email password are being accepted.
So, I have two questions, apart from the existential "why does Verizon feel the need to torture its customers like this":
1)Are they SERIOUSLY requiring you to have the SAME password for your email AND your My Verizon Account?
2)If, as I hope and pray, the answer to 1 is "hellz no", how can I change just my EMAIL password?

Yes, the passwords are the same now. Verizon made a big push a while back to give customers a single login. They merged everyone's accounts, not because it is more secure, but because they think customers will find it easier. No, there is no way to change just your email password.
And no, there is absolutely nothing wrong with using Thunderbird. Many of us have it configured for verizon.net addresses, and it works just fine.

You cannot delete the iCloud account that is signed on to Find My iPhone unless you know the password. This is called the Activation Lock:
ACTIVATION LOCK
It is an anti-theft security measure that is a part of iOS 7. You can only get around this by following the steps in this support article:
Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account
Contact your friend. This is the only way around the lock.

Why is my iPod touch repeatedly asking for different iTunes account passwords?

Does anyone know why my iPod Touch keeps asking for 5 different iTunes account passwords? Also, in the iTunes app it says I have 651 songs preparing to download, and I didnt tell it to download them. Does anyone know why this keeps happening? It only began after I reset my iPod.

I have this problem too. I'm trying to restore an iPod and it asks me for account numbers. Is there Anyway to get around it? Cause it does not seem fair if I can have and listen to it on my iTunes but not my iPod. So since I've been using iTunes I've always used my AOL info to log in. Well, just a few days ago it started saying I needed to upgrade my account to a free Apple ID if I want to continue purchasing new music or using my current music. So I click for it to upgrade and it will take me to the page where it says change this account to use a Apple ID. When I click continue a box pops up saying an error has occurred and to please try again. How to reset the forgotten Windows user account password

Solution1: Toshiba recovery disks help reset lost password
It only works if we created the recovery disks or CD before we forgot the password. The following listed are the steps to reset disk for Toshiba Windows 7 recovery:
a. Start PC, log on Windows 7 and insert an USB flash drive into the driver.
b. Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts and Family Safety -> User Accounts -> Create a password reset disk.
c. In welcome screen click Next and select the inserted USB flash drive, click Next.
d. Input the login password in the password field and click Next. When progress indicator shows 100% complete, click Finish to exit. Remove the USB driver from PC.
The method is similar to create a Toshiba recovery CD. Now, the Toshiba Windows 7 password recovery disk is ok. Put it in a safe place for people may use it to reset your password.
Steps to recover password with created Toshiba password reset disk:
e. Click Reset Password in the Windows 7 logon window,
f. Insert the created Toshiba recovery USB disk into the USB driver interface, and click Reset password" to open Password Reset Wizard. Click Next to continue.
g. Choose this USB disk recovery Toshiba from the drop down box. Click Next to continue.
h. Input a new password and re-input it again to confirm. Click Next and then Finish to close the wizard.
Solution2: Reset Toshiba laptop by accounts with administrator rights
If there is default or built-in admin account or other accounts with administrator privileges and rights, we can use it for Toshiba password bypass. Take Toshiba XP recovery as example:
A. Boot system from Safe Mode by pressing F8 when PC stars.
B. Access PC with the available account with administrator rights and privileges.
C. Start - Local Users and Groups lusrmgr.msc in the Search box ENTER - Local Users and Groups - choose Users.
D. Right click the account with unlocked password, select Set Password and then input and confirm the new password.
Solution3: Reset Toshiba password with burned ISO image file
We can burn an .iso image file into a bootable USB disk or CD/DVD and reset the forgotten password easily and quickly. Take one of the most popular Windows password reset tool Ainorsoft Windows Password Recovery as example:
a. Download the program from an accessible PC;
b. Burn its .iso file to a blank CD/DVD or USB disk;
c. Bypass the lost Toshiba password with the burned CD/DVD on the locked PC.
Things will not be tricky if we know the methods for Toshiba password reset once we forgot Toshiba laptop password! Please also remember to share them with your friends!

As far as I know there are no password set by Toshiba.
The user can set the windows user account password if necessary so this workaround describes how to delete a Windows user account password which is common for all computers with preinstalled Windows OS.
