OWA : Unable to attach a file or send an email

Hello,
I have two different users:
- The first is unable to send mail from the new version of OWA
- The second can not attach a file
I tried:
- Their profiles on different PCs, the problem persists.
- Their PCs with different profiles, no worries for other profiles.
Passing Light version of OWA it works.
Exchange version 2013 SP1 is installing.
Could you please help me?
Thank you very much

Hi,
I would like to verify whether you have other users. If yes, please verify if they can send emails with attachments.
"The second cannot attach a file.", do you mean she/he can't add an attachment to a message or if she/he add an attachment to a message, this message fails to deliver?
"Passing Light version of OWA it works.", do you mean that both of the problematic users won't have issues when they use light version of OWA?
Best regards,
Amy Wang

  • TS3899 I am unable to attach any files while sending mail

Please tell me how to attach any word or pic or audio file while sending a mail using MAIL in my iphone 4.

    Step 1
Remove "MacKeeper" as follows. First, back up all data.
"MacKeeper" has only one useful feature: it deletes itself.
Note: These instructions apply to the version of the product that I downloaded and tested in early 2012. I can't be sure that they apply to other versions.
IMPORTANT: "MacKeeper" has what the developer calls an “encryption” feature. In my tests, I didn't try to verify what this feature really does. If you used it to “encrypt” any of your files, “decrypt” them before you uninstall, or (preferably) restore the files from backups made before they were “encrypted.” As the developer is not trustworthy, you should assume that the "decrypted" files are corrupt unless proven otherwise.
    In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A. The "MacKeeper" application is in the folder that opens. Quit it if it's running, then drag it to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your login password. Click the Uninstall MacKeeper button in the dialog that appears. All the functional components of the software will be deleted. Reboot.
☞ Quit MacKeeper before dragging it to the Trash.
☞ Don't empty the Trash. Let MacKeeper delete itself.
☞ Don't try to drag the MacKeeper Dock icon to the Trash.
    Step 2
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
    and confirm. Test.

  • Can't attach some files when sending an email through Safari (via Gmail)

I'm trying to send an email to myself, and I can't seem to attach files that were created using iWork programs (Pages, Numbers etc.) How can I get Safari/Gmail to allow me to email these files?

I can't seem to attach files that were created using iWork programs (Pages, Numbers etc.)
These are not files; they are folders that appear as files to the user. To email them to anyone you must create an archive (.zip file) of them and email that archive to the recipient.

  • All of a sudden I am unable to attach a file to my email without compressing

All of a sudden I am unable to attach a file to my email without compressing. The email will show no attached file and then freezes and I am unable to add any content to body of email or change any of the content. I have to just delete the email and start over. If I zip the file it will show up in the body of the email and I am able to add content and send the email. This just stared happening, I had not changed any preferences or anything so I have no idea what happened.

  • After the recent update, my documents moved from Finder to Word.  When I moved the folders to Finder, I am unable to attach a file to an e-mail.  Any Suggestions?

After the recent update, my documents moved from Finder to Word.  When I moved the folders to Finder, I am unable to attach a file to an e-mail.  Any Suggestions?

    Back up all data.
Triple-click the line of text below to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):
    /Library/Internet Plug-ins
    In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste (command-V) into the text box that opens, then press return.
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
I've seen an unconfirmed report that the "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you might need to remove it as well, if applicable.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

  • How do I attach a file to an existing email?

On the ipad 3 or any ipad, how do you attach a file to an existing email?

    @ adobe-admin (J.C.?):
Thanks for fixing the "backslash" error. Accuracy is important, and doubly so when presented as an F.A.Q.
The sad thing is how prevalent the usage of "backslash" is when a plain old slash is meant (generally, the "forward" attribute is assumed and unneeded), and by people who should know better. It's a direct result of people knowing just barely enough about the Windows file path naming protocols, and then applying the only terminology they're familiar with incorrectly to URLs.
I went about 10 rounds—TWICE!—with a labyrinthian succession of people at the Discovery & History cable TV networks because they were saying "backslash" in voice overs whenever their commercials promoted their websites. It took some doing, but I finally got in touch with somebody who was savvy enough to recognize that it was a rookie mistake made by a clueless marketing copywriter. The voice over person just read the copy they were given, oblivious to the difference. It amazes me that it wasn't caught by somebody early in the recording/production process and rectified.
They then had it correct for about a year, until new commercials started popping up with the same error. Unfortunately, the person I had talked to previously no longer worked for the History channel and I had to go through the process of finding someone who understood all over again.
Yeah, you can call me a nitpicker with nothing better to do.
But I've earned that dang badge, and I wear it proudly!

  • How do I attach several files to an outgoing email?

I am trying to attach several files to one outgoing email address.  I am looking for feedback on how this can be done or to be informed if it is not possible.  Thank you.

Basically, it is not possible unless they are photos (max of 5) from with the Photo app or documents fom specific pps such as Goodreader. Otherwise, you open the app, select the document and then email.

  • Unable to attach a file document without full data path (vers 8.0 beta) | Likely, based upon user testing.

For the last two days I have been unable to attach relatively small Acrobat PDF or document files to my outgoing emails.
This could be a problem with the Firefox browser (v8.0 beta) or Windows. Mozilla Firefox v8.0 beta has latest updates,
AT&T "Mail.Yahoo.com" will not upload any files to the website for sending; the DRAFT email message can be stored as usual. "Mail.Google.com" also exhibits the same failure, however GMail allows the user to revert to "classic uploader" and the file can then be attached with the tag showing "the full PC data path".
Both email access attempts were using Mozilla Firebox v8.0 beta.
In the first example (AT&T) I was able to compose and save the draft email without attachments, then process the email normally (attaching the file) from my Nokia Smartphone using Symbian OS6.

    7-Zip 9.20
    Adobe Flash Player 13 ActiveX
    Cisco WebEx Meetings
    Java 7 Update 51
It should be noted that I can't repeat the behavior on my test machine again today after some changes were made in our environment.
Today, I found that someone had modified permissions on the folder to give the group my test account was a member of rights to traverse the folder hierarchy from the root of the share.  Additionally, in testing something with FIPS mode, I ended up reverting
my virtual machine to an older snapshot.
After removing the extra permissions that weren't present when I was doing my testing and reverting to the older snapshot, I  am not having issues accessing the real equivalent of folder3 directly in Windows Explorer via DFS UNC path or creating a shortcut
    with the New Shortcut wizard.
Things have been fundamentally changed and I cannot repeat the behavior on this particular folder.  I will see if I can recreate the same situation on another folder.

  • Unable to attach multiple files to an email in Safari using Macbook Pro 2011

Is anyone else having this issue?  Safari won't let me select multiple files to attach to an email.  I can attach more than one file, but I have to attach them one at a time.  Is there a setting I need to change or something??

I am having exactly the same issue as debsdesign.  The email I am using is yahoo.  I've tried both Safari and Firefox and it makes no difference.  I am using Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5.
So to reiterate the problem - I want to attach multiple files at once to an email message I want to send.  I have tried to do the following:
    1. Select 'Attach file" in my email message
    2. In 'Finder' I have found a list of files I want to attach
    3. I can only select one file at a time and "choose" them individually - I have 16 files.  I have tried holding down the SHIFT key and selecting the last file in the list.  I have also tried holding down the COMMAND key and selecting each file in turn.  Nothing works!
Is there a way to do this on a Mac??
    Many thanks

  • Unable to attach a file to the email

I am trying to attach a file using mail.app. When I click on attach(paper clip icon) then I am unable to traverse down to a sub-directory and to a file, instead mail.app attach the entire directory as an attachment. Is this a limitation with OS X? Again I tried the same with Sparrow to no avail.
Only way is to open a finder window and drag file to the email message.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated?
    Thanks,
    Paddy

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
    Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
