Owner can't create document in Extranet Document linbrary

Hi everyone,
one of our owners can't create a document in her document library in an extranet site that was created for her service.
When she wants to create a new document (in Offic Word), she got the next error messages:
"The operating system doen't have the right configuration to execute this application"
and
"The document could not be created, the required application may not be installed properly, or the template for this document library cannot be opened."
On her pc is standard Office 2010 installed. It is compatible with Sharepoint 2010.
Also, other owners can perfectly create new documents.
Has anyone has this problem? How did you solved it?

If you try to invent your own syntax, you are starting on very wrong basis.
The required syntax is defined by the Numbers AppleScript's dictionary.
This one doesn't know what is a template.
This is why, in the link posted by badunit, I use an other scheme to create a new document.
I know that it's awful but it's the only one available at this time.

How can you create a writable PDF document from a PPT presentation ? Upper part with the image , lower part with a free space in order to take notes for students during presentation or course.

You can make a PDF file out of you notes and handouts but using the Adobe PDF printer.
Open your PowerPoint Document then go to “File” “Print”
Select ‘Adobe PDF” Printer
Under slides, select which way you want to print. Note it will not print to a printer but to a PDF file.
After then go into printer Properties and Setup PDF properties, do the following: (see second image below)
Default: PDF/A 1-b
Adobe Security: none (change as needed)
Adobe Output folder: Prompt for Adobe file name
Adobe Page size: Letter (change as needed)
Check the following check boxes
View Adobe PDf Results,
Add Document Information,
Rely on system fonts only,
Delete Log files for successful jobs.
Select OK
A pop will ask you where you want to save the document. The file extension should be PDF. After giving the file name select okay and the file should popup as a PDF. Down side is if you want to speaker notes included then you will have to do another file, like wise with just screen shots then combine into one PDF document.
I used Acrobat IX Pro. So to do this you need Acrobat IX or X Pro.

If you want to add fields to a list, as you have written your form in JavaScript, you can take consideration of using JavaScript Client Object Model to add/delete fields dynamically.

SharePoint owners can't create subsites

Hi,
I have a site collection where owners can't create subsites all of a sudden after the publishing feature is enabled. Is this a bug or what is causing this? I also noticed that the default user groups that sharepoint creates when publishing feature is enabled
were deleted eg: style Resource readers, etc. Is it possible to restore these user groups?

Turning on the Publishing features and removing the extra groups that Publishing creates will cause these kinds of issues. You can recreate the groups, assuming you know exactly what all of them do but that's not really documented anywhere. The
last time I saw this it was because an admin had deleted the groups thinking that they weren't actually being used because they didn't recognize them. Publishing requires them all to be there even if you aren't specifically using groups like "Designers".

PDF - Printing in OSX 10.5.4 Can't create PDF/X-3 document

This random error is not really causing me some trouble! - If anyone has information as to how to fix this, please let me know.
When I select print to PDF/X in the OS X drop down menu, everything works fine until I get an ALERT: "Couldn't create PDF/x-3 document. "
I use PDF/X all the time as it's best for printing magazine ads that I have to design for my company.
This feature used to work fine on my Mac. - Nothing has changed to cause this.

I've created another User account and switched over - still I get the couldn't create PDF/X error.

Can't create new AppleWorks 6 document

Where I used to create a new AW document directly from the Dock icon, now it takes me to a Finder window. But when I click on the AW 6 application, I get an "Error-#1409" message. The only way I can create a new document is to open an old one and "Save As." Can anyone help? I'm on an iMac G5 with OS 10.4.11

That you can successfully launch AppleWorks by opening an old document indicates the application itself is working, and that opening an existing document bypasses whatever is the source of the error.
What are your settings in AppleWorks > Preferences > General?
What is the icon on the Dock? AppleWorks, or an AppleWorks document?
What happens if you open an existing document (to launch AppleWorks), then close that document, then press command-N to open a New document?
Answers may provide some clues as to where the problem lies.

Can't create new Web Intelligence documents

Hello,
Only user Administrator can create new Web Intelligence documents on Infoview at my Installation. I 've created a new group called GROUP1. This group has Full Control acces level on folders, universes and conections like group Administrators. A user from group GROUP1 can't create new document Web Intellingence. Also, when I have joined this user to Administrators group, then this user was allowed to create a new Web Intellingence document.
Could anybody help me?

Can't create new Web Intelligence document

My company is migrating server from BO 5.1.8 to BOXI R2. Migration was fine with the exception of a few issues.
FIrst, no one has the ability to create a new Web Intelligence document in InfoView, not even administrator although permissions are there for Web Intelligence under the BusinessObjects Enterprise Applications on the main screen of the CMC.
Second, when a user attempts to change the parameters for a report, by clicking on the "prompts" link, they are presented with a server error mentioning that the document cannot be opened since it was saved with "Write Reservation Password". Would this password need to be removed in BO 5.1.8 and then the migration redone or can this password be removed post migration?
I appreciate any help or advice. I have three other things I am working on and need to get these things resolved.

Can I create contractions throughout a document? (e.g., It is -- It's)

My company recently updated it's style guidelines. Previously, we couldn't use contractions, but now we are. So when I update our documents, I have to go through and change "It is" to "It's", "you are" to you're" and "We are" to "We're", etc, etc.
Is there a script to make this easier? It is really tedious right now.
I've been using find/replace which helps somewhat. But is it possible to script something that would make it even easier?

How can I create a default/index document for SSRS?

SSRS 2012 SSRS Native Mode - Server 2008 R2 - with IIS installed and SSL.
Forgive me for asking what seems like a dumb question, I have searched extensively.
I want to have a default page for the report server directories, so that

Does not give a directory index, but defaults to a report (preferred), html page (secondary) or redirect. I've not found a single reference to doing this, and it seems pretty obvious. I partly want it to be neat and I want to deny the right to a directory
index.
