OWSM: Problem with AXIS 1.1 serveragent

Hi everybody,
Web service environment: Win XP, Tomcat 4.1, Axis 1.1, JDK 1.4 running on localhost
OWSM environment: Win XP, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle XE database on some remote PC.
The problem: I get the following error in serveragent.log :--
com.cfluent.coreman.sdk.CoremanException: Could not get RMI ICoremanAdaptor
The root cause of this is that the server agent tries to poll localhost instead of the OWSM PC as a result I am able to apply poilicies but unable to collect statistics.. I tried changing a number of files but nothing works (even rmi to soap). What do I do so that the serveragent points to OWSM PC?
Everything works fine if the serveragent is on the same PC as that of OWSM. Has anybody tried such a scenario? Any tutorial/pointers would be helpful.
Please help!!!
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for the update. I will try with some other J2EE server and come back on this.
However, I am not sure that the server agent will still not poll the RMI port of the localhost. Ideally should point to the remote machine on which OWSM is running.
Regards,
Kaanu

  • Problems with axis example

    Hi
    I'm trying to run the example TestClient.java that comes with axis, but I get:
    java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused
    Does anyone know if this server is still running and on the same port (5049) or if there's just something wrong with me.
    Thanks

  • Weird problem with Axis in JBoss accessing WSDL

    Hi
    for an application, Axis web services are used and everything is running inside JBoss 4.0.2. The WSDL file is dynamically generated by Axis and clients are set up to get this WSDL file from the Service before making a call.
    Clients are making web service calls to the application and everything runs perfectly. However, after some time an error occurs which causes the WSDL file not being available any more. According to the error messages it looks like it can not find some classes, and looking at the Axis code (AxisServlet.java:226) this is where the PrintWriter is instantiated - which is not any special but usual Java class.
    The only solution so far is to restart the JBoss, after which the WSDL is available again.
    This behavior I can not understand - any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Michal

  • Problem with Axis Adapter endpoint url in WSDL file.

    Dear experts,
    We are using PI 7.1 ehp1 with a SOAP to RFC scenarios using the Axis adapter.
    We have the XIAxisAdapter as sender Communication Channel and the related Sender Agreement.
    When i am looking into the WSDL file of the Sender Agreement than the endpoint contains ...location="host:port/ XISOAPAdapter /MessageServlet"... in stead of ...location="host:port/ XIAxisAdapter /MessageServlet"...
    The url with "XISOAPAdapter " will not work. When i export the WSDL file and manually adjust the location to "XIAxisAdapter " everything works fine.
    Is it possible to directly generate a correct WSDL with calling the url http://host:50000/dir/wsdl?p=xxxx?
    Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Joost Weghorst

    Hi Sonya,
    You can use configuration plan while deploying composite.
    The configuration plan enables you to define the URL and property values to use in different environments. During process deployment, the configuration plan is used to search the SOA project for values that must be replaced to adapt the project to the next target environment.
    Please refer this doc. for getting introduced to config plan.
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29542_01/dev.1111/e10224/sca_lifecycle.htm#SOASE10908
    To deploy soa composite with config plan refer this doc:

  • MINOR CODE PROBLEM WITH AXIS,EJB,WSAD,WEBSPHERE

    Hi All,
    I am using below environment
    client side
    ANT + Sun 1.4.2 JRE

    JIBX BETA 3D
    WSAD 5.1.2
    WEBSPHERE 5.0 Test Environment
    Basically I used WSAD 5.1.2 to code my EJB's. When I run my web service java client program to access a ejb web service exposed using AXIS,JIBX (DE)SERIALIZERS, WEBSPHERE 5.0 I am getting below exception on client side and no exception atleast in my server console. I guess the cause of this error is I used Sun 1.4.2 JRE on the client side to construct custom types and
    passed them to server which uses IBM JRE 1.3.1 inside WebSphere 5.0 Test Environment. I am not sure may be it is a guess. If so how to ask ANT on take IBM JRE 1.3.1 with <javac> task. Please suggest ... ?

    I remember seeing that post sometime ago. And yes, your guess is quite good. WAS 5.1 uses jdk 1.3.1
    As for Ant, if you want to use a different version class, I think you need to set "build.compiler" property. Of course, a look into Ant docs would be more helpful.
    Cheers!

    Howdy Ajaynagpur,
    It sounds like the Notification center quick reply function is intermittently not responding, but restarting the phone seems to fix it temporarily. I would start by quitting the Settings app first:
    iOS: Force an app to close
    Double-click the Home button.
    Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
    Swipe the app up to close it.
    When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
    iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • Implementing a Webservice with AXIS, which calls CORBA objects

    Hi @all!
    First my aim is it to invoke a Webservice by a Client. As toolkit for developing this Webservice I use AXIS 1.0. This Webservice in turn should establish a CORBA connection to a third application.
    A direct access to the CORBA objects without the AXIS Webservice works fine. The Webservice without the Corba access is also running errorfree.
    When trying to implement a Webservice with AXIS, which calls CORBA objects following fault was generated:
    "internal Server Error(500)".
    Are there known problems with AXIS in conjunction with CORBA?

    Okay here's the error log file:
    1000 of lines, which aren't very helpful for me.
    As ORB I use JacORB.

  • Problem in axis with log4j

    Hi ,
    I am facing one problem in running WS with axis in tomcat. I am new to ws . I have downloaded apache-tomcat-4.1.34(apache-tomcat-4.1.34.zip) and axis-1_4(axis-bin-1_4.zip) from the site. Set Path, Classpath , catalina_home , java_home. I have tested with http://localhost:8080/axis/happyaxis.jsp. That has come ok. Then I have tested http://localhost:8080/axis/HelloServer.jws a simple ws written by me and that also has come ok.
    Problem is when I am running client code it is giving me log4j error message . My client code is also a simple one.
    package samples.userguide.example1 ;
    import org.apache.axis.client.Call;
    import org.apache.axis.client.Service;
    import javax.xml.namespace.QName;
    public class Client1
    public static void main(String [] args) {
    try {
    String endpoint = "http://localhost::8080/axis/HelloServer.jws";
    Service service = new Service();
    Call call = (Call) service.createCall();
    call.setTargetEndpointAddress( new java.net.URL(endpoint) );
    call.setOperationName(new QName("http://soapinterop.org/", "sayHelloTo") );
    String ret = (String) call.invoke( new Object[] { "sayHelloTo" } );
    System.out.println("Sent 'Hello!', got '" + ret + "'");
    } catch (Exception e) {
    System.err.println(e.toString());
    I am getting error in service.createCall();

  • Problems installing Axis with WLS 8.1

    I'm having problems installing Apache Axis with WLS 8.1.
    I'm totally new to WLS, so this may be at the heart of the problem.
    I install Axis as per the installation instructions.
    These are the steps I followed:
    1. Installed the axis directory to
    C:\bea\weblogic81\samples\domains\examples\applications\axis2. Added xml-apis.jar and xercesImpl.jar to the AXISCLASSPATH ( the complete AXISCLASSPATH is
    C:\axis-1_2RC2\lib\wsdl4j.jar;C:\axis-1_2RC2\lib\axis-ant.jar;C:\axis-1_2RC2\lib\commons-discovery.jar;C:\axis-1_2RC2\lib\commons-logging.jar;C:\axis-1_2RC2\lib\jaxrpc.jar;C:\axis-1_2RC2\lib\log4j.properties;C:\axis-1_2RC2\lib\log4j-1.2.8.jar;C:\axis-1_2RC2\lib\saaj.jar;C:\axis-1_2RC2\lib\axis.jar;C:\javasoft\javamail-1.3.2\mail.jar;C:\javasoft\javamail-1.3.2\lib\smtp.jar;C:\javasoft\javamail-1.3.2\lib\mailapi.jar;C:\javasoft\javamail-1.3.2\lib\pop3.jar;C:\javasoft\javamail-1.3.2\lib\imap.jar;C:\javasoft\jaf-1.0.2\activation.jar;C:\javasoft\Xerces\xerces-2_5_0\xercesImpl.jar;C:\javasoft\Xerces\xerces-2_5_0\xml-apis.jar)3.Added weblogic.xml file to C:\bea\weblogic81\samples\domains\examples\applications\axis\WEB-INF\weblogic.xmlas per instructions with <prefer-web-inf-classes>true</prefer-web-inf-classes> 4. Started the examples server.
    5. I then tried to validate the installation as per intructions using <a href="http://localhost:7001/axis"></a>
    Everything looks OK with the Axis start page displayed.
    6. I then tried happyaxis.jsp . All needed components are present with saaj.jar being picked up from :
    Found SAAJ API (javax.xml.soap.SOAPMessage) at C:\bea\weblogic81\samples\domains\examples\examplesServer\.wlnotdelete\extract\examplesServer__appsdir_axis_dir_axis\jarfiles\WEB-INF\lib\saaj.jar7. I'm missing optional component xmlsec.jar
    8. Now the trouble starts!!!
    pretty much anything I try now comes back with:
    AXIS error
    Sorry, something seems to have gone wrong... here are the details:
    Exception - java.lang.NullPointerExceptionI get this if I try:
    <a href="http://localhost:8080/axis/services/Version?method=getVersion"></a>
    or
    <a href="http://localhost:7001/axis/services/AdminService?wsdl"></a>
    or
    <a href="http://localhost:7001/axis/services/Version?wsdl"></a>
    So, what's going wrong? I cant think what to do next. Please help! I need this to work fairly urgently.
    Nigel

    I'm doing exactly the same thing (adding the xerces jars to my web-inf/lib), but happyaxis.jsp is saying the jar I'm using is invalid as follows:
    Error: Invalid version of SAAJ API found in D:\bea\weblogic81\server\lib\webservices.jar. Make sure that Axis' saaj.jar precedes D:\bea\weblogic81\server\lib\webservices.jar in CLASSPATH.
    Axis will not work.
    Maybe this worked in a previous release/SP? I'm using 8.1SP3. I've read some other post saying you cannot override stuff in the weblogic.jar, so I've tried to add the jars to the pre_classpath, which resolves the issue but I get a soap fault related to this thread. Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Lou

  • Strange problem with signed jars, axis

    I have an application that uses axis to communicate with the server that contains the business logic. I have configured my application to run with java web start. I have been signed all the jars to grant full access to my application to system resources.
    On the jnlp file I specify
    <security>
    <all-permissions/>
    </security>
    The problem is that when I execute calls to my business logic that return a DataHandler (files) I get a security expection with an access denied message.
    I thought that signing my jars (application and libraries) and specifying all-permissions should make my application run as a local application. If I execute my application locally (no java webstart) it runs fine.
    Is there something that I am missing ?
    The exeption I receive is :

    I have been able to solve the problem with the post
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=38&threadID=704885
    I do not know why this is not reported on the Java Web Start FAQ. This is a very frustating error.

  • Some problems with 3D with xorg 1.9.2-1 and xf86-video-intel 2.12.0-3

    I have some problems with the upgrade to xorg 1.9.1-1 and xf86-video-intel 2.12.0-3. Glxgears does not run smoothly at all and I got 15-20 fps (instead of the normal 60 because intel should sync with the V refresh rate). Very curiously, these problems disapear if I move the mouse cursor somewhere in the screen. Then glxgears run smooth and I have indeed the expected 60 fps
    There are no error messages and glxinfo say that 3D is indeed enabled.

    Do you have problems with anything that's *not* glxgears?
    I have indeed not seen other problems. Presently the only other software that I believe use openGL that I use is googleearth; which run fine. Could it be a problem with glxgears?

  • Problem with axis2 and Tomcat

    Hello,
    I am having a strange problem with Tomcat and axis. I have a webservice that uses axis2 for wsdl2java class generation. When I compile my project in maven a Test is performed. During the test a glassfish server is established and the project is deployed -everything work great with the expected results. However when I try to deploy the webservice on tomcat it has some problems.
    At first I tried to call axis code in a POST method that takes a MultiPart message. The code is as below:
    *@Path("identifyWavestream")*
    *@POST*
    *@Consumes(MediaType.MULTIPART_FORM_DATA)*
    *@Produces(MediaType.APPLICATION_XML)*
    *public String multipartTest(com.sun.jersey.multipart.MultiPart multiPart) throws Exception {*
    *// get first body part (index 0)*
    *//tomcat shows that the first error is here (line 122 is the nest one with bodypart)*
    BodyPart bp = multiPart.getBodyParts().get(0);
    BodyPartEntity bodyPartEntity = (BodyPartEntity) bp.getEntity();
    InputStream stream = bodyPartEntity.getInputStream();
    *//the rest of the code either saves the incoming file or implements the wsdl2java axis interface - neither works.*
    And the tomcat error is:
    java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 0, Size: 0
    java.util.ArrayList.RangeCheck(Unknown Source)
    java.util.ArrayList.get(Unknown Source)

    It was strange to me since this simple approach of handling a Multipart method worked for me earlier. Then I decided skip the handling of multipart method and just call the axis code. But the results also caused an error. I then tried to call the axis code in a simple @GET method (to cross out any issues regarding the multipart) and the result where the same. Again everything works on the maven- glassfish test. In this case the tomcat error is the following:

  • Problem with Toolbar in Itunes 9.0.3

    I upgraded to 9.0.3 and now my itunes toolbar will not work. This happened in 9.0.2 also. Is there a fix or should i just go back to 9.0.1 until they update again.

    I've had this problem as well, the solution from the AXIS mail lists shows that it seems to be a problem with the xmlparserv2.jar that is supplied with IAS. Xerces does not produce this problem, the solution is simple but annoying.
    Save the auto generated WSDL and then add the following to the wsdl:definitions line of your WSDL document, and then deploy this WSDL document with your application.
    xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"
    Then in your server-config.wsdd file, reference the supplied WSDL with the following tag in your service descriptor.
    <wsdlFile>/<path-to-wsdl>/myService.wsdl</wsdlFile>
    Then everything should work perfectly, the AxisServlet will display your supplied WSDL rather than generate it dynamically when the ?WSDL parameter is specified.

  • Having problem with blending arcs together

    Hi Jochen!
      I'm developing a 3-axis plasma cutter software. It's uses g-codes for calculating the path of motions and using blend function for continous moves. Everything works fine including continously blending short straight line moves, but sometimes blending arcs resulting high following error. Mainly when i try to blend little arc segment with a big one. This problem doesn't occur when i set blend factor to 0. I tried many different trajectory and arc parameters with the "Sequence of Blended Lines and Arcs.vi" example, but it resulted the same effect. With some trajectory parameters i can blend the short arc segment with the big one without following errors, but i still don't know what causes this problem. This situation is same on two different cnc machine. One of them is using 1 servo and 2 stepper axis in closed loop with different encoder resolutions. The other one is using 3 stepper axis with different step/rev in open loop. The effect is the same. Blending little arc with a big one (approximately r1:r2=1:8), resulting following error and the motors jumps a little.
    - PCI-7340, umi-7774
    - LabView 8.5, Motion 7.6
    Waiting for hints! Thank you!

    Nandi,
    sorry for the late response, but I have had to gather some equipment first to reproduce this behavior. I have setup a very similar system with a servo and a closed loop stepper and I have used your code for a test.
    The bad news is, that I couldn't reproduce the problem. First I have worked with two servos but I couldn't see a significant following error with those, but in fact I wouldn't have expected a sustaining following error with a servo at all, as servos can compensate following errors during the moves.
    In a next step I have used a servo and a closed loop stepper but I have seen the same result. No significant following error during the move. I have also switched the X and Y axes, but there was no change. I have also played around with the other move parameters but again, no significant following error.
    With this said, I don't think that we are facing a general issue here that is related to 73xx motion control boards.
    To me this looks more like an issue that is related to problems with load inertia and high acceleration values. In fact if you reduce the radius of an arc but keep the vector speed, the forces become higher and in your case they seem to become too high for the stepper motors. A stepper motor can't compensate step loss during the move. That's why you see this constant following error.
    I hope this analysis hits the bull's eye.
    Kind regards,
    Jochen
