P965 neof+e6300 blue screen & reboot

Hi, the first thing i will say is that i´m from argentina and i don´t know if my english stills fine....
when i leave to work i leave the computer lonely downloading and everytime it hangs up, and shows the windows blue screen, and when i´m using it, it suddenly restarts... and it doesn´t depend on the task i´m doing.... it happens with games, with the windows desktop.. winamp... everthing i do....
i´ve tried the changin the video card, memory, operative system, drivers (older, newer) and i didn´t solve it....
i hope to find some help here, what do you think i should do...

ok,  let´s start
the power suply is a "daymex" 450 w
the specifications are :
+3.3     28a
+5        32a
+12      26a
-12      0.8a
-5        0.8a
+5 vsb  2.5a
video card: Sapphire radeon x1600pro 512 mb ram
CPU : intel core 2 duo E6300
RAM: TITAN 2x512 ddr2 533 MHZ or Tyrex 2 x 512 ddr2 533
HDD: WD SATAII 300 gb & wd SATAI 200 gb
and before someone tells me to update my drivers, i´ve tryed everything related to drivers, in all combinations possible... windows XP with original drivers, with the ones provided by the manufacturers and the latest from internet...
the best combination was with windows vista ultimate x64 RTM and the latest video driver from ati.com... all the other drivers was the ones that windows install...
but now with vista, the problem starts when i´m using games, or transfering big files, such as dvd images and things over 1gb.
in that case, the machine completly hangs up, and it doesnt responde to any command... only restarts from the button.
the two ways i thought are.... adding a fan to the HDD controller (the sink below the graphics card) and updating bios (thats the last resort)...
ok´thanls for all an i´m waiting your reply

  • Annoyingly Blue screen reboot

Haven't seen this topic yet... I am having a blue screen reboot problem.  It happens ONLY when you are closing down a program.  But randomly.  Could be 3 - 4 times an hour, or 1 time an hour who knows whenever it feels like it...Any ideas???
BTW  I have MSI K8N Neo 4 Platnuim Motherboard
    AMD 64 3200+ Processor
    Kingston Value ram 256X2
Antec 550 watt total control PS
ATI Redeon X700 pro 256 mem video
    6 total fans running
    Seagate 200 GB SATA HD
    Creative 12X ovation cd/dvd
    Pioneer A07 DVD-R burner
Also I have reloaded 4 time now in three days.  I had a Nvidia 6200 video card prior to this.  Thought it may be that.  Starting to think it may be an overheating problem.  Don't know which utility works best for managing temp and fan speeds.  Fans run full speed all the time. Lets say about 2800 rpm.  Not sure how to increase them
Any other info needed please ask.
This one is driving me up the wall!!!!
    Thanks

:stop:UPDATE!!!!!  Well it crashed again.  This time upon reboot I got a message about the file called SYSTEM in the Windows32/config dir was corrupt.  I could try to repair. It didn't work..  SO instead of reloading all that again I changed the HD to a UDMA 40 GB Seagate. Have been loading software half the day now with no problems.  It is alot slower but no errors.  Went on Seagate Web site and read about the SATA drive.  No where did it say anything about having to load RAID drivers.  It says that windows will recognize it as long as you have the LBA mode selected.  No my question is :  Will it hurt anything without the RAID drivers ??  ANYTHING!!  And has anyone out there had this kind of problem as I entered above???  Please someone help..  I am almost bald!!!!!

Might be some Windows file corrution.  Suggest you repair your Windows installation.

  • Hotspot cause Blue screen & reboot on laptop why??/

When I use my Razor Maxx HD as a hot spot with my laptop, the laptop goes to a blue screen and reboots.  What do I do????

    EDIT:
I just kept rolling back the driver until I got to 15.2.0.19 and it worked.
    Thanks everyone!
    ===========================================================================================================
I'm having the same issue with the same wireless card in my work laptop.
Can you tell me which driver version now works for you?  I don't see any updates, so I might be on the latest right now (15.3.1.2).
The hotspot worked on my previous laptop, but I just got this replacement and the BSOD appears every time that I try using my Droid Incredible 4G.
    Thanks!

  • Constant Crash / Blue screen reboot

I just purchased this P505-S8010 2 weeks ago  Everything was great for the first couple of days.  Then it crashed and rebooted I didn't think about now 2 weeks later its crashing all the time.  Does any one have a clue?  Or should I just return it and start over.  I have installed Office 2007, Adobe Photoshop and Corel draw.  that's it.  HELP?

If you can, return it.  Run to the store to return it.  My P505 has been blue-screening since March and will be going back for it's 4th visit to the repair depot.  The longest I have had it before shipping it back was 2 weeks.  the shortest was 5 minutes.    I'm told they will not extend the warranty and until such time as Toshibe decides it is not repairable, I will get neither a replacement nor a refund, we just continue the cycle of I call, they send a box, I send to them, they take less than a day to fix, send back to me.  Only people profiting from this is UPS and ASUS, whom I bought a netbook to use while mine spends to much time traveling the country.

I recently purchased a iphone 5s and after about 2 weeks it has started to randomly reboot. It then progressed to rebooting with a blue screen. Attempting to fix the problem I connected the iphone to my computer which told me the backup was corrupt. As I attemped to delete old backup my phone rebooted to a black screen with a bunch of white writing saying things like panic. I have attempted to hard boot the phone many times and it will not go past the black screen with the apple logo. Please help.

Nothing happened, i managed to get my computer to recognise it and now restoring... but it says 3 hours remaining?! Will i lose everything?

  • Blue Screen, reboots now getting 2 vertical lines

I have the Z10 and I got the blue screen, wouldn't turn back on.  Today I got the blue screen.  It shut off and restarted, then went blue again after about a minute, restarted and then there were 2 vertical lines (one blue, one white) down the screen.  Now it won't go back on at all.  Advice?

Well, I had a very similar issue but I traced it to an app. Some people who have gotten the blue screen have pulled their battery before it shut down and apparently that killed the phone. I say apparently because that's what they reported but never followed up on some advice.
Have you tried to see if BBerry link will see the phone?

  • Multiple crashes, blue screen, reboots after upgrading to ios 7.1

    Hi All.
My iphone 5s 32gb worked perfectly fine until  upgraded to ios 7.1.
Now it keeps crashing, rebooting multiple times a day. Sometimes it enters in a rebooting loop.
I´ve tried reseting, restoring, downloading the upgrade and restoring again and again but the problem persists. Very frustrating.
I´ve enter to diagnostics and usage data on mi iphone and there are at leat 100 crash reports.
What should I? Whait for ios 8? Forget Apple products for good?
    Thanks.

Thanks for your advice! I don´t live in the US. I can see there are a lot of people having the same issue after upgrading to ios 7.1. Is it possible that my iphone just got broken? I repeat that after the upgrade it worked perfectly fine.
    Kind regards.

  • Has anyone else experienced blue screens and continuous reboots on 5S

I picked up my silver 5S 32 GB at the Verizon store Friday morning.  Throughout the morning I noticed that I would hit the home button and it would be powered down.  I loaded the .1 patch assuming maybe it was a glitch.  I went through the rest of the day with a couple more home button/powered down situations.  When I got I home, I plugged it in to iTunes to recover a backup and following the restore it went into blue screen reboot cycle.  I performed the soft reset and restored the backup 3 times with the same results.  The soft reset was the only means to stop the reboot cycle.  I then tried 3 times doing a restore from the cloud with the exact same results.  Finally I did a from scratch install thinking my backups were bad.  It would stay up awhile but then eventually go into the blue screen and reboot.  Sometimes the cycle wouldn't occur in that it would boot up to Home screen following the blue screen.  I took the phone to the Apple store the next day, they looked it over, witnessed the blue screen and confirmed there was an issue.  I then went to the Verizon store and swapped it for a Space Grey 32GB.  I experienced the exact same cycle with the grey so I called Apple.  I have spent 3+ hours working through this with a very helpful agent.  Turns out a have 2 bad ones in a row!  The way I can almost instantly get it to go to blue screen is clicking the Photos icon.  Now I am waiting on a second replacement at the Apple store.  We have done the soft reset, the hard reset, and the phone restore so we know now that the backup had nothing to do with it as I can do a restore and still have it blue screen after clicking Photos.  Anyone seeing anything like this?

Searching for others who might have the same problem increases your chance of finding a solution.  Common sense in troubleshooting devices dictates you look for others who might have the same problem in hopes someone already has a solution.  Your comment is irrelevant and leads one to think you are spoiling for an argument.  Why???

  • Random Blue Screen Crash with 5S and iOS 8.1

Since upgrading to iOS 8.0 my iPhone 5S randomly gets blue screens and then crashes and goes into a loop of boot up, blue screen, reboot, blue screen, reboot...etc. My 5S did this again today when during my upgrade to iOS 8.1 via USB and I was forced to do a factory restore on it. The blue screen is still occurring after the restore and 8.1 upgrade. Is this a known issue? I was hoping this was going to get fixed with 8.1 but unfortunately, it doesn't look like it has.

    Same here,
yesterday i updated my 6 plus 64gb with iTunes.
After the update, my phone crashes (blue screen) in games (Maze Runner) and Safari.
I tried to downgrade to ios 8.0 because i didn't had any problem with 8.0 but iTunes says that the file is not valid "iPhone7,2_8.0_12A365_Restore"

  • T60 Type 2623 Blue Screen on Resume from Sleep Mode problem solved - XP Pro

I hope that this post ends some frustrations for some people.
I hope that IBM deals with this issue by getting ATI to fix the video driver issue.
After three months of tracking down blue screens when resuming from Sleep Mode and some lockups while working, I have identified the problem on my T60 Type 2623 running Windows XP-Pro and all service packs and updates.  The Sleep Mode resume issues were intermittant and it would be fine for a day or two and then reboot on Resume or reboot every time I used Resume for a while.  For months the Blue Screen would reboot and attempt to send the message to Microsoft using the logs, but the logs were always corrupted.  I disabled every driver that I could and the problem continued for months.
The problem solution came about when I decided to try my Rhapsody Music account after many months of not using it.  I kept getting a message about DRM (Digital Right Management) being disabled and Rhapsody software could not self-fix this.  So I finally called Rhapsody and they spent over an hour with me trying to get Rhapsody to work.  The support person asked me about my computer and I noted that it was an IBM T60.  He then asked about my Video Card and I responded that it was an ATI Mobility Radeon X1300.  After a few minutes on hold he asked about my driver version which was 8.442.3-080103a1-057754C the set from January 31, 2008.  He noted that there is a known problem wit the 8.4 driver and it interferes with DRM.  He had me go to control panel Settings and Hardware and then roll-back the driver to the prior version.
After a reboot, the DRM issue was solved and I soon discovered that my resume from Sleep mode no longer crashed.  In fact it has been fine and crash free for over a month now.  I have noted that the older driver can sometimes resize my screen to something like 600 X 800 if I close the lid under certain circumstances, but that is just a function key reset to get my normal desktop resolution back.  At least it is not a blue screen reboot with a corrupted log file.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Unfortunately I could not fix the problem so I wiped my system and loaded all new drivers before I found this posting.
Is there a way to get the old ATI driver that works? The only one available on the ATI and Lenovo website is the latest one with the problem. I agree with you David, Lenovo should have fixed this problem already with ATI.

  • MSI X99 SLI Plus - Blue Screen at Log In

After my $2000 computer died, I rebuilt using a new MSI x99 SLI plus motherboard, 5820k cpu, and ddr4 2600 for $1100.
    It has been 18 days.
I was questioning the motherboard since the beginning since USB devices seemed to go in and out as if they were being plugged in in the middle of working, but I got around most of the problems by not allowing the PC to go into sleep mode.
This morning I wake up and go to check my email and the computer does a wake-up that is different. The bios screen comes up and then I see "resuming windows..." It gets to the log in screen and I enter my credentials. A few seconds later blue screen and reboot.
I try safe mode - log in, blue screen, reboot
I try system restore to a week ago - log in, blue screen, reboot
The store is not going to take any components back, they have a 15 day return policy and it has been 18 days. Nice!
I am not sure whether or not I can really say it is the motherboard. Maybe it is the GPU, who knows?
Anyone know of a way that I can get the details of that blue screen when I cannot even log into safe mode to look?
What kind of troubleshooting would you try?
I am ready to swallow a shotgun.

a roll back may have fixed it but it just depends when it was last updated! - i mean when was the last time that image you where trying to roll back to last updated was it before your problem started?
Everything was working as of 4:00am Central Time Today (11/7/12).
Blue Screens after log in started as of 9:30am Central Time Today.
There has been no windows update between 4:00am and 9:30am today that I am aware of.
The rollback to restore point was to 11/4/14, which would go well beyond any update if one did occur, which it couldn't without my clicking the install updates button manually.
There was no new hardware installed and no new driver updates done between yesterday and today. I played a few games and went to bed :p

a blue screen when windows trys to start is usually it running the drive in the wrong mode: enter your BIOS - go to settings - advanced - integrated Perifirals - SATA mode (see if that is in AHCI mode)
I'll double check the BIOS in a bit when I get home from work, but again, I don't see how the BIOS setting would change all by themselves, unless there was a power outage or surge. Neither of those occurred.
I think all signs are pointing to hardware failure. Either the motherboard, GPU, or RAM.
I'll do a memory test and if that doesn't shed light, a reinstall of Windows, if that doesn't fix it, I'm RMAing.

  • Ipod + itunes = blue screen of death & reboot - HELP PLEASE!

I'll try to make a long story as short as possible here.
i've had a 40G ipod for over a year and a half now. back in the beginning things were working fine. with the size i hadn't done any syncing for a long long time. however, the ipod crapped out so i got a replacement from the apple store.
after registering the new ipod i was having trouble syncing. it would upload a few hundred songs and then freeze or cause a reboot. i uninstalled the ipod software as well, installed the latest itunes software - over the previous version, installed the latest ipod updater software and restored the ipod.
again, i was able to sync for brief periods in 3 different tries - amassing a whole six hundred and something songs. after each try itunes said syncing was complete (but not even close - had just over 2000 mp3s looking to sync up). unbelievably things got worse. now, if the ipod is docked and itunes is running - regardless of which is done first - my pc will get the blue screen of death and reboot itself.
also, without itunes and the ipod docked, it shows up as an i: drive, but when i try to browse it though my computer, it locks up the machine and shows nothing.
any help out there is GREATLY appreciated!
    here are my specs:
    - ipod 40 Gig, with click wheel and four buttons below the screen with
    dock & firewire cable
    - pc running windows xp pro
    - firewire card with 3 ports
    - ipod & itunes software located on 120G c: drive
    - mp3 collection located on secondary 160G d: drive
    - 3/4 gig of ram
p.s. i have mcafee running and i've tried everything with it on as well as off. doesn't seem to make a difference.
also, i have checked a TON of posts on apple.com as well as other discussion groups and couldn't find an answer.

    hi Douglas!
first promise me that you'll back up your data. having your PC shut down in non-standard ways (for
    b any
reason) increases your risk of file corruption and putting scruffy spots on your hard drive.
Now some basic first aid. download some fresh definitions and do some vigorous virus and spyware scans. run your favorite hard-disk checking utility. do a disk cleanup.
now let's follow up on the blue screen of death. Perversely, i've started to become pleased when people report BSODs under these circumstances. we can wring a lot of information from a BSOD error message. there's also usually something concrete to go on in the error logs.
    (1) what BSOD error number and message are you getting? here's a reference:
    http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm
    (2) squeeze your error logs for all they're worth. right-click on "My Computer", select manage. click on your event viewer. click on your application and system logs, and look for errors and warnings happening at roughly the same time as your crashes.
click on the relevant warnings to see if you can find any commonalities in the errors/warnings. follow up the Help and Support links to see if you can find any suggested "User action" or relevant MS KB documents. (sometimes these things are there, sometimes they aren't.)
    good luck! keep us posted.
    love, b

  • App crashes 30+ times/day - BLUE SCREEN APPEARS - system reboots

    HELP!
I purchased a new Macbook Pro about 1.5 months ago, and am running PowerCADD (I work at an architecture firm). No problems on any of the other computers running 10.4, but for some reason my PowerCADD application crashes about 30 times or more per day! *NO ERROR LOG IT JUST GIVES ME A BLUE SCREEN, THEN REBOOTS THE COMPUTER.* All of my information is lost everytime it does this and it is very frustrating. I called PowerCADD and they were very surprised and had not seen this before.
They suggested ARCHIVE and INSTALL, they said that Apple might not have installed 10.5 properly. Any suggestions?????????
    thank you

Before doing an archive & instal there are other steps that might help. As this is a problem with a 3rd-party application Apple are usually interested in problems that might be their end of the problem and they usually cooperate well with other software providers in trying to resolve problems.
    1) Open Disk Utility from Applications/Utilities. Select your hard drive and run Repair permissions. If there is a list of ...is...should be... followed by 'Permissions repaired re-run this process until there are no further repairs needed. See whether this resolves the problem.
    2) If not, insert the original installation dvd and restart holding the C key until you see the Apple logo. In the first screen after loading is finished select language, then at the next screen go to Tools/Disk Utility. Again select your hard drive but this time choose Repair Disk. If any faults are found and repaired re-run this until no further faults are found. Also re-run repair permissions if faults were found. Restart and see how it goes.
    3) Check the PowerCADD website for updates and their support for any compatibility issues. If they have a discussion page check this to see whether there are any problems with Leopard.
Failing all this you could then try the archive and instal option.
