Pacman isn't showing all the installed packages

Hey guys!
Since last week pacman isn't showing all the installed packages in my system. If I issue the command pacman -Q it just returns the following packages:

Here you can see a shot of my /var/lib/pacman/local directory, containing just a few directories related to the packages above.
I have a lot more installed in my system, eg. the holl KDE system.
Is there a command/workaround to make these missing packages appear again in pacman?!

A damaged database is really no big deal, and the only things that the proposed solutions attempt to do is that pacman re-installs a package (which changes close to nothing in your actual installation) and then write that update to its database.

What do I do if my installer isn't showing all the packages I have paid for?

My account page shows the full CS suite of packages, but the installer is missing Premiere and After Effects, meaning I can't download them.

JSPM not showing all the packages,

Dear All,
I am upgrading the Java stack from 700 SP 015 to 701 SP 003 using JSPM.
I have downloaded all the packages including stack.xml file and placed in EPS/in directory.
To start the upgrade, I selected Support and Enhancement Package Stack.
But it ended up showing only JSPM package in the queue. All the other packages included in the directory are not visible.
Do the packages appear after the JSPM upgrade?

Hi,
The problem which you are getting because Java patches information is not present in stack xml file. Could you please check whether stack xml file contains all java packages ?
Also, while downloading stack xml file from SMP, please make sure that you select all usage type installed on your Java system otherwise you will miss packages in stack xml file.

Summary report to show all the software components and version installed

We are using 64bit Windows 2003 and Hyperion Planning and Essbase in 2 separate servers. I am not sure whether Windows can have a summary report to show all the software components and version installed and show it is 32bit or 64bit version installed?

Installing iTunes does not cause content to magically appear on the computer.
Your media is only where you put it.
iOS devices are not backup devices.
Copy the media from the old computer to the new computer.

In solution manager system not showing all the system in SLD

Dear Gurus,
During the installation of solution manger sysyem i selected as a Central SLD as solution manager
Later installed ECC 6.0 and EP systems selected SLD as solution manager system during the instllation.
If i login in to http://hostname:50000/sld (solution manger system) and the screen also not showing all the options also. some options missing in the tab. Wat I need to do to see all the options clearly.
It is not showing all the systems if i check in EP and ECC for SLDCHECK it is not givng any errror.
But if i login into solution manger not able to see all the system in SLD.

The iTunes application should be installed on the system drive. You may need to repair iTunes to fix that error regarding a missing .exe.
To organize your library properly see Make a split library portable.
If you don't have a working version of the library that can be transformed into a portable shape I have tools and techniques that can repair the broken links.

Execute Process Task showing all the SSIS Config variables in SQL Job History

Hi,
Am using an Execute Process task to execute my child package. And executing the Parent package from a SQL JOB.
I am using the same config file for both Parent and Child packages.
After the Job execution was Successful / Failure, in Job history it is showing all the variables from Config file which are not using in Child package. With the below message.
"The package path referenced an object that cannot be found"
I don't want to catch all the Variables information in Job History. Instead I need only the Success / Failure message.

Where is the install package stored from the app store for Lion?

This is an all new way of deploying OS updates from Apple. From what I can see, this presents some issues:
1. Where is the install package that I bought from the app store, and how can I save that offline?
2. If there's a problem with my device in the future, I have no media of Lion to restart from- so what's the procedure to restore from a TM backup? Go back to 10.6, and then to the 10.7 update?
3. What if I want to boot from disc or a drive? I don't have a copy of the install to make a bootable image.

OK, once you install Lion the Installation Package gets deleted. However once you have installed Lion, do following:
- Open the AppStore Application
- With pressed Option (on German Keyboard ALT) Key klick on the "Purchased" Tab!
- You will now see that the prviously greyed out "Install" key for Lion becomes active
- Download the install package
- Do not start installation
- In order to create a bootable DVD or USB drive containing the installer follow instructions posted on

This is how you can create installation media.
For maintenance options (means your Lion installation has some problems but your drive is still OK)
you can boot from the hidden recovery partitions that was created when you installed Lion.
To do so, press the Option (ALT) Key while booting. You will have now the option to boot from
Lion or recovery partition.

Show all the structure in the Query

I would like to know if there is some way to show all the structure I created by hierarchy to my query, enven if some nodes there isn´t any data.
I have configurated to show only the lines there is amount. It means it won´t show the lines that have zeros.
But the structure (all of the nodes) I would like to show, include that one there aren´t any datas.

For exemple, I have the hierarchy but on the side "colum" I already have a structure where is restricted by data because it is a report "Year to Date".
On this case, is it possible to do something to show all the structure of the hierarchy?

If I have an array of n elements, how to show all the possible combinations of n elements.
What is the java library for doing the combinations??
For example,

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

Reinstall the installed packages

I have dual boot system Ubuntu + Arch linux and I wanted to configure arch through chroot. unfortunatly I forgot to mount /dev and /proc so it got some errors during upgrade.
/tmp/alpm_xXzQ7F/.INSTALL: line 7: /dev/null: Permission denied
or
/sbin/mkinitcpio: line 253: /dev/null: Permission denied
I didn't start the system yet but I would like to reinstall packages if its posible. I found this command
pacman -S $(pacman -Qq | grep -v "$(pacman -Qmq)")
and it returns
error: no targets specified (use -h for help)
which is not so strange cause
pacman -Qmq
returns nothing which is strange
Any help would be apriciated.

The "target" for your command is missing, s/b:
pacman -S $(pacman -Qq | grep -v "$(pacman -Qmq)" >pkglist)
This command is used to generate a list of installed packages such that they can be re-installed by pacman:
#pacman -S $(cat pkglist)
....EDIT
This pkglist has to be accessed possibly through usb flash such that the re-install is accomplished for the packages in the pkglist.
Please google "re-install pacman packages" for more accurate info( my info from memory).
Your /var/cache/pacman/pkg may not contain the desired packages altho I have no reason to believe it won't.
