Page %MAINPAGE does not exist

Hi Experts,
I have an issue when printing an invoice list form.  the following message is being triggered:
Page %MAINPAGE does not exist.
Please note that on test and simulation environment this error is not being triggered.  it is only in production environment.  we have transported all the TRs, but still the error is being triggered.

Hi,
what happens in the forums is that you type in a message and that message is stored in a database. Along with your message the number of thread, forum number and message number is stored. Next time somebody wants to read your message, this message is taken from the db and shown to you by the jsp. The JSP ofcourse does more thant taht it shows also other messages and static HTML.

    Hello everyone. Thanks for the feedback so far.
    I am editing an old site and there are going to be some pages that do not exist anymore.
    Is there a way to have an automatic redirect so that if any user types in ANY page that does not exist sitewide, they can be directed to another main redirection page which displays a message and then to the main page again?
    The current site is littered with empty pages with a redirect link on each at the moment which does not look good and it's awful to maintain as these non-meaningful filenames the original developer has used are no help at all.

    If it's on a Linux server then you can use .htaccess rewrites to automate much of the redirection heavy lifting

  • Creating a page that does not exist

    Hi everyone,
    Is it possible to create a page that does not exist based on the user input?
    By does not exist I mean that it is not stored in your computer and JSP will generate the page based on the user input. For example, in forums the user can create a new topic and based on the options selected a page will be created and stored that was not present before. The same thing happens when a message has a large number of replies, in which a new page will be created and attached to the previous page. I hope that I am not misunderstanding the concept of creating pages in forums.

  • Javascript to create bookmark for page that does not exist yet

    Hello all,
    Is there a way to write js for a bookmark that goes to a page that does not currently exist?
    For example, I have a 20 page pdf document.  We have FileMaker Pro that can 'append' to a PDF additional pages.  So when FileMaker pro appends two new pages (bringing us up to 22 pages), I'd like to have 2 'existing' bookmarks in the original 20 page pdf document that will, when clicked, go to page 21 and 22 respectfully.
    Is this possible and would anyone have the JS I would put into that bookmark?

    The JavaScript would be:
    // Go to page 21
    pageNum = 20;
    If there are fewer than 21 pages, it will go to the last page. If you want to avoid this, you could do something like:

  • Every time I try to download the new Firefox I get this message when it relaunches, " Invalid Request You requested a page that does not exist. You may have reached this page by clicking on an invalid link or bookmark." What should I do?

    This happens with every browser I try to download that isn't the old 3.0 version of Firefox

    "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now" "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    If this doesn't help, try ending any Firefox processes and completely restart it. If none of this helps you might consider you could have Malware or something nastier. Connection issues can also cause that error message. I remember having the same issue a couple of years ago and had to completely restart my PC for some reason to get the new Firefox to install. Sorry I don't have any more in depth answer.

  • List View webpart throws "list does not exist" although everything is correct

    Hi,
    I'm experiencing a very strange issue. I've already made some research but no one seems to give a clear answer.
    Scenario :
    Site A (Root site collection)
    -- Site B (Sub site of Site A)
    Site B has a publishing page containing a single List View Web part displaying data from a list of Site A.
    The LVWP (XsltListViewWebPart) correctly works and displays the content of the list. But at the moment that the application pool is recycled, the very first hit on the page will result in an error page :
    "List does not exist.
    The page you selected contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user."
    Doing a simple refresh (F5) of the page displays the page correctly and the error will never come again.
    The issue is totally reproducible by performing a recycle of the application pool.
    Properties of the webpart are correctly filled as well, ListName, WebID and ListID.
    Do you have any ideas why is this bahaving like that ?

    Thanks for the reply. The site is running under HTTP. I did check the HTTP Handler and the permissions are alright.
    Also, the web application is setup with NTLM. The Object Cache SuperUser & Reader are setup in the User Policy.

  • Error, package does not exist, thrown when calling jsp page

    Hi
    I have downloaded sample jsp pages for interaction with Crystal reports. When I compile these jsp pages in NetBeans 3.6 there are no problems. When I deploy these pages and associated libraries to Tomcat 5, I get the following error when attempting to call the jsp page, but all the jars used in NetBeans are present in the web-inf/lib directory and I have looked in the jars and found classes in the com.crystaldecisions.report.web.viewer package. I have been unable to find any information after googling and looking at the jakarta bug database. What am I doing wrong?

    I understand that if placed in the common directory the jar will be available to all webapps but why does it make a difference whether a jar file is placed under the $TOMAT_HOME/common/lib or $TOMAT_HOME/webapps/appname/web-inf/lib directory if I only need to access the jar from one webapp?

  • Error on deleting page group (Path ID does not exist)

    I'd like to delete a page group of my project. Normally I have no problem with that. But sometimes the following exception is thrown and the group can not be deleted:

  • Link Reports -item  does not exists on this page

    I have two tables Person table with Primary Key of PersonID, and Person_Qualification Table with a FK of Person_ID.
    I have a report for each table. I have created a report on the Person Table(Page 3000) with a link column to the Person Qualification Report (Page 3119).
    In the link column I created in the person report I have my parameters set as P3000_PersonID and #Person_ID# as field to populate the URL with, and the target page as 3119.
    However anytime I click this link that takes me to the PersonQualification report I get an error stating the Item P3000_Person ID does not exists on this page (3119).
    I have linked a form and report together before, but not two reports.
    I want the person qualification report to be only for the personID that was clicked on.
    I tried adding P3000_PersonID to the query in the person_qualification page I.E. where PersonID=:P3000_PersonID but I still get the item P3000_Person ID does not exists on this page or something to this effect.

    Hello gtjr,
    You need to define an item (usually hidden) on page 3119 to hold the person ID and use that in your second report's query.
    Then in the column link for the first report, specify this new item to be set to the person ID linked.
    The reason for the error is you're telling ApEx to set an item p3000_person_id on page 3119, but that item doesn't exist on page 3119.

    There are dozens of entries regarding "
    List does not exist / The page you selected
    contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user" and none of them are really SP 2013 so i thought I would create this entry. 
    I am getting the error above after creating a simple list with 4 columns.  the list is created during a new site definition activation but when I click on my list, I get the error above.  the list works if I deactivate the feature and re-activate
    it.  but has the error whenever the new site definition is created.  
    Has anybody encountered this issue on SP 2013?

    I wrote a code in sharepoint custom pages in which generates pdf from gridview .
    BUt in namespace only i am getting errror like namespasce of microsoft.interop.word does not exist.
    But in vs 2010 it works. how to reference dll for custom pages?

    If you are trying to generate pdf directly from html then i dont think you need Interop.word, but yes if in case you are utilizing office 2010 feature save as pdf from word document then you need the dll referenced in your project.
    However you might want to look at these options
    1) Create an rdlc report, render it in report viewer, you will get export to pdf option or you can also dynamically generate the report in pdf
    OR
    2) take a look at this link, you can export your grid view into pdf

    Hi everybody!
    I have a sharepoint 2013 farm with 5 sever. I upgraded a site from sharepoint 
    2007 to sharepoint 2013. I had some problems to install and configure workflow manager and register it. but by now I found problems and I can create a workflow and run it successfully. My big problem is when I try to get a lookup field in my flow. the
    flow suspended and I got the following error:
    “List does not exist . The page you selected contains a list that does not exists. It may have been deleted by another user.”
    Any solution???

    Hi,
    Please make sure the source list of the lookup column and the list which consumes the content from the lookup column exists on the site collection.
    In addition, to correct this problem the following steps should be applied:
    Delete the affected Workflow association
    Go to "Central Administration" - "Application Management"
    Select the affected web application and choose "General Settings" - "Resource Throttling"
    Increase the value configured as "List View Lookup Threshold"
    Perform an iisreset to ensure that all in memory instances of the web application settings are gone
    Add the Workflow association back to the list

  • Get a online number page does not exist!

    This is the 3rd time this is happening to me in about 2 weeks with no success. I go to the online number page and everything works fine. I can view my existing online numbers and so on. However when I click on the link get an online number because I want to sign up for another it says the page does not exist.
