Pages in ALV List report

Hi
in my ALV list there are arround 500+ records. currently all the records are being displayed in only a single page, where as i want them to be displayed in multiple pages. and then give Page numbers to each page.
for example : like we use line-count 35 in REPORT statement in a report.
how to do the same in alv List display

Alv list report-problems while printing

hai,
i get following dump error when tryign to print a alv list report.
'Illegal interruption of the event LOAD-OF-PROGRAM.
What happened?
    Error in the ABAP Application Program
    The current ABAP program "SAPLSZA12" had to be terminated because it has
    come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
    During the flow of the event LOAD-OF-PROGRAM (event for the
    initialization of an ABAP program), a condition occurred under which
    the event was to be left early. This is not permitted as it would
    result in an inconsistent status in the ABAP program.'
the problem resolves for a particular output(when i restrict the list to lesser rows) by changing FORMAT from
X_65_255 to X_90_120 in the print dialog properties option..
however this restricts the coloumn width..
anycase i will have to print the output for all conditions.
the problem seems to be centred around number of rows in the list output..

is somethign wrong with the values in this internal table gt_comtypes_tab...
this is where the dump is pointing..at LAOD OF PROGRAM EVENT

It is not possible to save layout in BLock ALV display but possible to change layout. There is no parameter to save. It is not possible to store the layout as it has several structure.

Font is small while printing alv list report

Hi,
while printing ALV list report font is too small, can you tell me where i can increase the font size. I tried in GUI font ,In which i can increase the font for GUI, not for ALV priniting . Can any body help me to solve this problem?

I think You are talking about header text in ALV , while printing ALV list i need to increase all the font size.. In fieldcatlog there is no option called Style...for increasing ALV font line item details. Can you tell me which style you are talking about?

By default if you're using the ALV List Display function module, there's no need for you to code the 'Change Layout' function, the standard function will be there, unless there's something you want and the standard 'Change Layout' function could not provide.
Go to Abap Editor and look for program with 'BALV*'. You'll get a whole list of DEMO program on ALV.

Issue Regarding ALV List Report

Hi,
I have prepared a ALV List report.
I have made use of REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY.
I have put a check box in the output at the begining of every Record.
Now what i want is to put a SELECT ALL & DESELECT ALL Buttons on Application Tool Bar & If i hit on them i should be able to SELECT & DE-SELECT all the Records/Check Boxes in the output.
Can anybody tell me the logic for both SELECT & DE-SELECT functionalities.

when i run my alv list report using the saved layout and then change the layout of the report and then go into one of the items, i want the report to keep the changed layout when i save and go back to the report. at the moment its reverting back to the standard layout when go out of the transaction

Make the Default Layout as your Changed Layout it'll work. It Can be done in the properties i guess.

END OF PAGE IN ALV LIST

Hi All,
I am generating the report output in ALV list and downloading in the PDF format. It is working fine.
But I am not able to print last line(AS SOME TEXT) on each page of the report. I think the output of report in ALV LIST does not show the END OF PAGE, But It should show once we take print out.
Please let me know.

Rakesh,
END OF PAGE can be found in ALV Printout, you can't see it in Display. So if you download as PDF without printing, it is normal not to display END-OF-PAGE.
You can print your report and you can see the END-OF-PAGE in spool and maybe you can convert this spool as PDF. Otherwise you won't use END-OF-PAGE.

Header in every page of ALV List

Hi All,
I am working in ALV list now the requirement is that i have to fetch the data based on inputs given when the report executed. and the values which i gave in the input is printed as header of ALV list.
I have done everything except that when i am printing the Header it is coming only on the first page but we want it in every page the list spreads. please help me ASAP.

Hi,
As my knowledge, It can not do the thing you told (you can do this thing with Smartforms). but you can separate your report with a condition to break page. Here an example that you can break page with condition when company code changes or GL account changes.
firstly, build a sort table:
FORM sort_build CHANGING pt_sort TYPE slis_t_sortinfo_alv.
*-- company code
gs_sort-spos      = 1.
gs_sort-fieldname = 'BUKRS'.
gs_sort-tabname   = 'GT_FKONT'.
gs_sort-up        = 'X'.
gs_sort-group     = '*'.
gs_sort-subtot    = 'X'.
APPEND gs_sort TO gt_sort.
*-- Account
gs_sort-spos      = 2.
gs_sort-fieldname = 'SAKNR'.
gs_sort-tabname   = 'GT_FKONT'.
gs_sort-up        = 'X'.
gs_sort-group     = '*'.
gs_sort-subtot    = 'X'.
APPEND gs_sort TO gt_sort.
ENDFORM.
and attach the sorted table to FM:

Removing columns heading for a perticular page in ALV list display

Dear All,
For last page of my ALV list display i need to remove columns heading (Strictly for single page only).
Kindly help me with possible solution.
I am triggering page break by using group attribute in the sort catalogue.( l_v_sortcat-group = '* '. )

if u can catch the page number,
while building fieldcat, put the condition
if sy-page = (page number)
ls_fielcact-fieldname = fieldname.
ls_fieldcat-tech = 'X'.
LS_FIELDCAT-NO_OUT = 'x'.
modify lt_fielcat from ls_fieldcat.
but how r u catching page number?? can u pls tell
endif.
