Pages library catalog item url

I've setup authoring and publish web application , first web application (authoring) has one site collection with pages library catalog and anonymous enabled and correctly setup, the second web application has one site collection that consume authoring pages
catalog with content search webpart , but I have situation that I need to use the link directly for static page , ex.
Authoring Site > Pages > Aboutus.aspx
Publishing site > footer> About Us (need to link directly to the page in authoring aboutus.aspx) but I need the link appear in publishing site url not authoring one , how could I do this ?

Publishing site will not create catalog item URLs

I have an authoring site with a list that I have enabled as a catalog. When I move over to my publishing site (sites/Publishing) I am able to connect to that catalog. I have Managed Navigation and my term store set up and the links are generate across the
top (Ex: planes, trains, automobiles).
When I click on one of those links, say automobiles, the page displays correctly (sites/Publishing/automobiles). But, when I try to click on a catalog item I am just taken back to sites/Publishing. It appears that no friendly URL was created as I specified
when I made the connection.
What could I possibly be doing wrong? Hopefully I described this well enough

Is the site a public anonymous site or just for internal use?
Be sure to add a Root term to the product hierarchy (or whatever you may have changed the termset name to)
when setting your columns for use in a catalog, It’s worth noting the default unchecked of “Allow multiple values” is important. Multiple value columns are unsupported for the column used in integration.
Also, for the terms to function properly in nav, Add your publishing site URL to the site collection access line for the term group so it can present the terms as friendly URLs and navigation on the consuming Site Collection.
Alternately, if you want it available globally, you can create a new group under the global MMS, then move the term set to the global group
Connecting to your catalog requires Publishing features at SPSite & SPWeb level
Crawl must run against the catalog content after it was enabled as a catalog in order for it to show in Manage Catalog Connections
Don’t forget to allow access to the Product Hierarchy Term Set.

Does anyone have URL replacement working for catalog generated from wiki pages library

Hi everyone,
I have created a catalog from a wiki library which surfaces news/event/announcement articles to a publishing site (with make URLs relative to this site selected). This works well after modifying the item page and specifying the content as HTML regarding
the functioning of category/item pages.
The only issue which remains is that hyperlinks between wiki pages are not replaced in the target site (they always point to the wiki pages within the authoring site collection rather than to their catalog counterparts in the publishing site). It is
my understanding that with publishing pages from a pages library these links are replaced to point to other items in the catalog connected site rather than the source.
Is this just by design (only working for publishing pages rather than wiki pages), or does anyone have this replacement working?
If this does not work it kind of defeats the purpose of the catalog here and I might as well give everyone access to the authoring library and just use a CSWP in the publishing site to redirect to the authoring wikis. Not terribly nice from a layout,
navigational or conceptual standpoint though.

Just to add a bit more info to this... looking at the coreclient.log file you can plainly see that the page view took 50367ms to complete.... if anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

How to configure CSWP on Category page to show the Published Catalog-item page on Publishing site in a Cross Site Publishing scenario?

I have created a Cross Site Publishing Environment in SharePoint Online. After connected
to my catalog. 2 pages automatically created. But in "Category" page, if i click on an item it will bring me to the original path/item located in Authoring site. How to configure Content Search Web Part on Category page to show the Published Catalog-item
page on Publishing site?
Can we do this by changing the property mappings?

According to my understanding, you want users to be redirected to pages in the current site instead of the source page of the search results in a Content Search Web
Part.
By default, the hyperlinks of the search results in a Content Search Web Part will point to the source page where the data comes from, when the hyperlink of each result
is clicked, user will be redirected to the corresponding source page.
If the data comes from other sites, what page do you want to display when user clicks a search result in the Content Search Web Part?
Property Mappings can help to control the content of each part of a display template, however, there seems no such property in the search result can help to redirect
to the pages of the current site, thus, it might not be able to meet your requirement.

Redirect to Pages library after creating item in pages library folder!

Hi All,
I'm facing one problem while creating item in publishing pages library.
Whenever I create an item inside the folder, after creation of item SharePoint redirect me to root level of the library. Its happening in pages library only.
Does any one face this issue or it's a know SharePoint issue or is there any workaround?

Hi Shubham,
I did a test, however I could not reproduce your issue.
In my testing, I created a folder in the Pages library, then created a page in the folder. After creation, it went to the folder level, not the top level of the library.
Please check whether you installed some updates for your SharePoint 2010.
For narrowing down the scope of this issue, please verify the followings:
Please create a new site at the same site collection, then test again, compare the result.
Please create a new site collection, test again, compare the result.

Title of Page from Pages library not appearing as expected from custom pagelayouts VS solution

hi,
i have created a custom web page from pages library using custom page layouts library with the help of a wsp.
here is my sample page.
now my issue is, when i go to the page / the title of the page is not displaying correctly.
as per my requirement the ttile of the page should be APPROVE/REJECT Doc
which is mentioned in the <title>APPROVE/REJECT Doc</title></head>.
and in my VS 2012 pagelayouts solution i have added this page name approve1.aspx.
hence i am getting the Page title from the pages lib as approve1 .
can someone pls help what should i do to get this title issue resolved.
i cant rename the page again from the solution.i would like to see the title of this page takes from <title>APPROVE/REJECT Doc</title></head> .

Custom edit form for my Wiki Page library with only "Page Name" field included

I want to create a new custom edit form for my Wiki page library, and to only allow users to edit the Page name inside the edit form. now i created a new Edit form using SharePoint Designer , and i select the Enterprisewiki content type for it , which generates

so from the above markup the name field is not part of the edit form,, i think this is because the Name is part of the Document content type and not part of the enterprisewiki content type .. so is there a way to add the name field to the edit
form ?.
second question, the edit form will show all the content type fields such as ; standard, document type, department , title (display in search), etc so what is the best way to remove these fields from the custom edit form ?

This can only be done by adding VBScript to the form. It would basically be:

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to check the page level permission on SharePoint Pages library via JSOM.
I have made a simple code demo to check whether current user has edit permission for the pages in Pages library, it works like a charm.

Content Query Web Part - in 2010 but Catalog-Item Reuse in 2013

In SharePoint 2010 I exported this SharePoint Links List to be a WebPart that I can put for things. It's our company's "Popular Links." "WE" decide what is "Popular." We have a few that I am sharing here.
In 2010 I got this to be a web part that I can pop onto multiple sites on our site collection. Now in 2013, I'd like to use Search if possible to get this to work. I tried and it didn't come out right.

I tried the Items Matching a Tag and I set a tag to be "Popular Links" and set the tag on the items below in this graphic. I then set it to look only at these.
This is on the same page on the "home" page, publishing turned on. I don't have the "feel" of the first "list" that I did on the graphic above. It's not CSS as it is on the same page using the same master page.
Also when I click on the link it takes me to the displayform.aspx?id=1 page and I want to have the user just click the hyperlink.
Could I / should I use the Catalog-Item Reuse feature with publishing and get a new site collection setup with this? I am frustrated as I'd like to "share" information in another site, just as this "perfect" example (for me) to
show this information multiple times.

CQWB is supported for Publishing Sites or site having publishing feature turned on, on other it will not work as expected.
You can add it on the page from ribbon insert web part> from categories select Content Rollup > next pane slect Content Query.

Printing SharePoint 2013 Wiki Page Library as a whole

Hi! I'm trying to find a good solution for printing an entire SharePoint 2013 Wiki page library. In SharePoint 2010 I built a site and created a printer friendly view that used "Wiki Content" column that only printed the contents

Unable to create a page which deleted from pages library

How to create a new aspx page in Pages library using Elements.xml without including any aspx page layout in my feature?

Is it possible to have the elements.xml file create a page in the Pages (or SitePages) library without actually including any sort of page layout or aspx artifact in the feature?
I see no reason to add a mywebpartlayout.aspx to my feature just so I can deploy a Home.aspx based on the BlankWebPart.aspx page layout.
I'm sure there is something obvious I am missing with regards to the Elements schema (which is why I've almost given up on using it completely and just gone to pure C#) but
I would really like to do this kind of simple stuff with declarations if at all possible. Must less code to write, debug, test and maintain.

I can't be more clear than "without including ANY sort of page layout or aspx artifact (meaning anything ending in aspx) IN THE FEATURE". I am not capitalizing to yell,
only to emphasize. Your disagreement is based on a link that shows ADDING AN ARTIFACT (the dummy MyPage.aspx) to a feature. I am asking if it
is possible (again, I cannot be more clear) to just use an Elements.xml file to instruct SharePoint to make a new item in a Pages or SitePages library.
Your definition of page includes Page Layouts and what you call Web Part Pages (again, a type of page layout + data in a site pages list that says what webparts
to display). Page Layouts are clearly NOT items stored inside of a SitePages or Publishing Pages library. Those libraries are just lists whose records
define the parts to show inside a specific layout.
When I refer to a Page I mean an entry into a pages (site pages/publishing pages) list. If I wanted to deploy a page layout then, quite obviously, I would need
to include it into my solution. I think maybe you are assuming that I do not know the difference. I do. The question is, can an Elements file alone be enough to instruct SharePoint to make a new entry into a Pages or SitePages library.
Now, your second link does show how to reference an existing Page Layout. Thank you for that. It is excellent. But this still leaves the problem of having to
add some sort of aspx page into the solution. Let me try to explain why I feel this SHOULD BE unnecessary: The aspx file will not have anything on it if I am referring to the ~sitecollections/.../BlankWebPartPage.aspx layout.
All web parts and content that should appear on the new page can be described IN the Elements.xml file. Any sort of aspx file is unnecessary, it seems to me.
So, if I am referencing a ~sitecollections/.../BlankWebPartPage.aspx page layout and specifying the web parts to add to the page, why should there be a
requirement to have some aspx file within the feature? That's what I am trying to figure out.
I am not asking for source code as proof. I am asking for an Elements file that does NOT reference anything AT ALL inside the Visual Studio solution for reasons I just described.
If you do not know how to do it then perhaps it cannot be done but I would like the question to stay unanswered for a little while until someone can demonstrate either a) it CAN
be done or b) a link to some Microsoft document stating that it is MANDATORY to have a physical element within the feature that gets copied to the environment.

Custom Product catalog item text not displayed after product search

Hello Experts,
1. We have configured a custom PCAT_ITM text - Product catalog item text. - (say 000A )
2. Have appropriate text determination procedure, access sequence to determine this custom text
3. The text determination procedure has been chosen in the custom catalog type.
The above steps lets us use and publish this custom text in catalog using the text id ( TEXT000A_ ).
4. For accessing this text in the ISA Catalog search, we have maintained the text-id mapping in the file catalog-site-config.xml as follows:

Well, the issue now is, this setup works fine only in certain pages, but not in some other pages.
a. Works fine in ProductDetails.inc.jsp - currentItem.getAttribute("TEXT_000A") gives the right catalog item text value.
b. Doesn't work in organizer-content-product-search1.jsp - product.getCatalogItem().getAttribute("TEXT_000A"). Though the expectation is to get the catalog item text, we get a value "TRUE", yes (TRUE).
Can any expert tell if we are missing anything.

UNSPSC code is not passed for RT catalog item then error !!

Hi SRM GURUs,
We have implemented BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER BADI.
In which if a RT catalog item is not having UNSPSC code then we are passing some generic material group for that particular item.
Here the issue is, if a UNSPSC code is not passed for a RT catalog item, then system is throwing error message "No logical system for FI is maintained. inform system admin".
Also, a pop-up is coming on SRM screen "Error in system;shopping cart cannot be processed further" and then after clicking on "OK" of the POP-UP it is taking me on SRM home page.
will anybody explain why this is happening ? Kindly, explain this logic (As this logic is in standard SAP program)?
PS: we are at SRM5.0 & CCM2.0.

Hi Masa,
we tried with blanking out the material group. we have got few errors but not of type like above mentioned.
The errors are as follows.
Cost center should not be blank
Service Account assignment should be Cost Center(Services) or Cost Center(Sched Services) or Network
Tax code ZZ in procedure TAXUSX is invalid
No G/L account was entered. Enter a G/L account
Product category 41E532538A930138000000000A4023DB does not exist
Enter the product category
Error in account assignment for item 1
Not possible to calculate tax
In SLG1 the log is green and contains following.
Start of line 000000 in shopping cart of catalog
External product category 26111710 contains errors or does not exist
where the number 26111710 is the UNSPSC code which i was deleted while debugging.
Please help on this.
