Pages not displaying images when accessed from remote system-error on page.

Urgent pls help...
Hi,
We installed 10G database and installed application express.
we installed apex using the command @apexins SYSAUX SYSAUX TEMP /i/
then changed password using @apxchpwd
then @apxldimg.sql D:\oraclexe
we installed databse in D:
in D:/oraclexe we copied apex folder and done the above operations.
we run the listener using command
java -Dapex.home=D:/oraclexe/apex -Dapex.images=D:/oraclexe/apex/apex/images -Dapex.port=8585 -jar D:/oraclexe/apex/apex.war
then for four days it was working fine,
our team can access pages from client system and we were working on our project.
But for the last two days it is not working properly. I mean apex is loading with errors(without images).
the page is showing without images and links are not working
just data's in pages is only seen.
But when i connect through localhost it is working properly.
we installed it on server then there also localhost:8080 is working
but from client system has the above said problem
Give us a solution...
Thanks in advance...

  • Pages not displaying properly in Publisher instances as we activated the page from Author

    HI All,
Pages not displaying properly in Publisher instances as we activated the page from Author. In author it is working well but in Pulisher it is showing first 2 lines of the page and then showing error as
Apache sling/2.2 Hot Spot ****** Sun OS error
Please help me on this.IS this issue with the templates or components are we using?

Ok, then let's go the long way and try to reduce the number of possible root causes:
    1) Is your problem reproducible on this publish? (I suppose it is)
    2) Is it reproducible on other publishs as well, which have received the same page with the same application?
    3) Can you reproduce it on other replicated pages as well?
    4) When you upload a page to such an affected publish via a content package, does this page render correctly?
    5) Does this problem appear on other environments as well?
    6) Do you use dispatcher when you get this result? Or do you get it when you request the page directly of CQ5?
    7) What's the HTTP statuscode when you render this page? You can see it in the request.log of CQ5.
If you change logging via Felix Console, you don't need to restart the instance.
    kind regards,

  • PDFs not displaying images when opened in Google Chrome.

My PDFs are not displaying images when opened in Chrome. They do display in other browsers and when saved to the desktop. I have tested on multiple machines. Is there a problem with how they are saved? Here is a test: http://www.omnils.com/userfiles/files/Brochures/KL-003_REV_0914_APEX_CR_SPEC_SHEET_lo.pdf

"... a known Chrome issue."  The resolution lies with Google for this - nothing you can do (other than disable the "in house" browser add-on and enable Adobe's (if you have Reader or Acrobat installed)).
A similar issue exists with other, contemporary, browser releases.
The "fix" is these software houses to deploy PDF viewer browser add-ons that actually comply with ISO 32000.
Perhaps their lazy approach reflects the attitude of "Hey, Adobe will get the hit not us."
Provide your users a feed-back mechanism; you'd be able to respond with the suggestion that they ping on the appropriate software houses to provide adequate software.
    Be well...

  • Safari on my account does not display images when you open a picture.

I have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 installed. Safari on my account does not display images most of the time when you open a picture like (www.example.com/example/example.jpg or any other format). If the image does not display, I can drag from the corner, it displays the image. However, pdf does not work at all. I have to choose open in Preview to view the pdf file. I can even show the example:
Sometimes the images work like right now.
    2. This is the time when the images do not work.

Hi all the real problem was this...
The issue was that the wee rubber eye piece around the viewfinder had slipped out of its seat slightly and was covering the sensor for the LCD. I Just checked the rubber eye piece bit  pushed right down till it clipped into place and now not obstructing the LCD sensor as the picture displays both with the LCD auto off enabled or disabled !! simple thing but a massive trap !

  • Eurosign not displayed correctly when picked from database

    Hi ..
I'm having a problem getting a eurosign stored in an Oracle Database to be displayed correctly in my Crystal Reports 11.5.
When using the built in (preview) Crystal Viewer, the eurosign is displayed correctly, but when I want to print the report directly to a printer or to export it to pdf the eurosign is displayed as a box?
It only haapens when i need to pick the eurosign from the database. If I insert in a textbox on the report, it will show correctly.
    Please Help.
    Best regards,
    Jacob

What is the source of the text stored in the database. I ran into an issue a ways back where someone was copying news articles from a website into their database and the euro symbol would not display correctly (unless the option HTML Text Interpretation was used).
    You might want to do a quick check to see if it is stored as an ascii character using a formula similar to the following;
    asc(mid({database, x, 1}))
where x = the position of the euro symbol in the string.
The formula result should be 128.

  • Dreamweaver CC Child Page not displaying CSS when previewed in browser

Forgive me as I'm completely new to Dreamweaver. I'm working through Dreamweaver CC Classroom in a book at the moment and I'm having issues with the browser preview of my child page. In dreamweaver everything appears as it should, (as far as I know), with my CSS stylesheet in the sources panel. It's connected to all my media types and displaying appropriately in my "live" view. But, when I go to "Preview in Web Browser", it's as if no stylesheet is attached. Can someone help? I have restarted Dreamweaver just incase it was a program issue, but the problem persisted.

  • German characters not displaying correctly when redaing from URLConnection

I have a java file reading the contents of a generated jsp page and writing to an html file and I have the code below doing that. However a couple of German characters like , and are being changed to in the html file. I tried to set the encoding for the reader, the OutputStreamWriter and also for the URLConnection, but it does not seem to help.
The data is fine in the database.
Any inputs on resolving this will be greatly appreciated.

This web page says that the correct encoding code is "UTF-8", not "UTF8".
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/docs/api/java/lang/package-summary.html#charenc
Maybe there are aliases, and it recognises both.... but worth a try.
Also, when you open the web page with a browser and view the source, do you see Utf8 mentioned in the webpage ? Maybe it's not in utf8, and you're trying to force your app to read it as such.
Ps. we won the war... tell them to start speaking English !

  • JSP not displaying images when using filter .....

    Hi there,
I have a very strange problem. My Jsp page works fine when I call it directly without using the filter which checks if a user is logged in.
But when I try to hit some other URL, the filter intercepts the request and redirects to the login page in exactly the same way using response.sendRedirect(). But the page does not load the CSS or the images.
    any idea why?
    Sameet

First, what mage does not load the CSS or images, login page or the page you were trying to go to.
How are the images and css loaded in the jsp.
    I use something like this
<img width="38" height="38" src="<c:out value='${pageContext.request.contextPath}'/>/images/omniManager/sunlogo_box_.5in.jpg" align="middle"/>I've had the same problem you are describing before... it turned out that in my struts config I had my forwards path incorrect. I had path="/standardInput.jsp" instead of path="/jsp/standardInput.jsp" (this is my login page)
Don't know if this helps.. but it has to be the way you are generating the paths in your jsp. try just outputing the path to the screen and see what it is when it doesn't work.. then figure out how it gets set to that.

I'm working on a website that has SSI (Server Side Includes) and CSS.....we have an SSI for the header, footer, and navigation sections of the site, and some of our images are referenced within the CSS.  Our BlackBerry is configured to read CSS as a handheld, but it doesn't seem to understand how to pull in an image which is referenced within an SSI or CSS.......is there another oprion/setting/download that we need in order for it to display the images?

  • PDFs not displaying properly when switching from multiple monitors to single screen

OK, here’s one I can’t find online anywhere. When I am at home I use a second monitor on my Macbook. Adobe reader works just fine opening files and displaying them, but if I disconnect the monitor and just go to the single laptop screen, adobe will no longer display the pdf file. Reader stays open and will display the toolbar from the file or files I had open, but it won’t display the actual documents. I have to quit reader and re-open it in order to display my files correctly.
    Any ideas?

  • IWeb pages not displaying images in Safari v312.6, Firefox or IE 5.2

Ever since I started using iLife 08 and the new iWeb to create my online photo albums, some users of Firefox and one user of Safari v312.6 and IE 5.2 for Mac can't view the images on my pages.
Can anyone tell me why? I realize there is a fix out there for Firefox so I'm more concerned about Safari and IE 5.2. The user is my mother in law and she really wants to see pics of the grandkids.

  • 'Access is denied' error in ESS iViews & Page not displayed' thru. internet

    Hi,
      We are implementing <b>ESS(Webdynpro)/MSS(Java)</b>.
      We are in EP6 SP13.
We want to put our portal on internet through SSL.
I have installed SAP Webdispatcher and configured it to support SSL. SAP webdispatcher is installed on a DMZ machine(hostname: SAPROUTER).
    <i>webdispatcher ports:</i>
    http port: 80
    https port: 8443
    1) When i try to access the portal from the DMZ machine (where the webdispatcher is installed) using <b>https://saprouter.domainname.net:8443/irj/portal</b>, i am able to see all the iViews.. but, i am getting '<b>access is denied</b>' error(in the status bar) when i try to click on any link in ESS iViews (for ex: working time, Employee search).. when i try to double click i am getting javascript:void(0)
    2) When i try to access the portal through internet(<b>https://<ipaddress>:8443/irj/portal</b>), I get the logon page and after logging in... i am not able to see the ESS and Transaction iViews .. getting 'Page cannot be displayed' error.
When i am able to see the iViews in the DMZ machine.. why are they not being displayed when i access through internet??
Can any1 help me in this regard?? What am i missing ??
    Awaiting your reply.
    Regards,
    SK.

    It’s a hot topic I think,
Where facing the exact same problems.
When we logon ‘LOCAL’ to the Portal the iview works. (Not true the internet / DMZ)
But when we logon true the webdispatcher we get the Portal Layout, so the dispatcher works.
But the WEBdynpro Iview gives the error -> ‘Page not displayed'
And when we edit the file “hosts” on the pc of the client browser and fill in the hostname of the SAP Portal the Iview works…..???
There are no ports closed on the firewall, everything is allowed.
Can anyone tell me of it’s necessary to edit the Web Dynpro Runtime Environment. Here are some settings for the WEBdispatcher but I can’t get it working.
    -     sap.webdispatcher.host           = Defines the host of a used Web Dispatcher
    -     sap.webdispatcher.port            = Defines the port of a used Web Dispatcher
    -     sap.webdispatcher.protocol      = Defines the protocol of a used Web Dispatcher
    See the link -> http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/43/8a1a8ece230c8ce10000000a11466f/frameset.htm
When I activate the trace on the webdispatcher
    (D:webdispsapwebdisp.exe pf=D:webdispsapwebdisp.pfl -t 2)
In the Tracefile I can see that the webdispatcher resolves the SAP portal system. That’s was aleady confirmed by seeing the portal framework from the client. I think that the WEBdynpro’s have to be remote activated, or some addition settings in the webdispatcher.
If somebody get an idée I really would like to know it.
    Best regards,
    Edwin

  • HT1553 I restored my hard drive from time machine. Why is iPhoto not displaying images properly?

I restored my hard drive from time machine after power blinks corrupted the file system so badly that disk utility could not repair it. Since then, iPhoto has not displayed images correctly. Events are there, and blank squares are shown, but that's all. I rebuilt small and all thumbnails and permissions -- I think the top three or four options in the iPhoto rebuild utility, which took five hours to do but which seems not to have changed anything. The iPhoto library is still more than 100GB, so the photos are there. I didn't choose rebuild from backed up --- whatever the final option on the rebuild menu offers -- because that seems to be appropriate only when a backup is interrupted. Could certainly do it, though. How do I get iphoto behaving again? I have full time machine backups saved automatically and another fairly recent copy on a separate hard drive stored remotely. Thanks for whatever help anyone can provide. I've looked at existing questions and solutions without success so far.

What version of iPhoto and system are your running?  Since you've tried rebuilding with iPhoto give this a try:
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
    Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
If you have an external HD you might want to have the rebuilt copy created on it unless you have well more than 100 GB available on your boot drive.
