Panels All Open by Default...

Hi everyone. Just wondering if there was a way to have the
panels open automatically when a browser loads, but still have the
functionality of collapsing and reopening. Any help would be
appreciated!

Accordian Content Panel all opened in IE7

I have developed a nice little accordian using Spry, but in
IE7 all the panels are stretched open instead of just having the
top one opened. It works in all other browsers except for IE7.
Has anybody else had this problem? I can't find any solutions
in the forum for this, any insight would be great!

Hello kierantm,
Your page looks quite complex and will be a little more
difficult to debug. The first thing that I see is the fact that if
you get the resulting HTML from the FF->View Source and try to
do a validation with it multiple errors are thrown. I suspect this
is one of the causes that will make each browser to try guess what
it should do instead of doing what you want. Please try to fix
first some of the problems there and the most important ones are
the unclosed tags or incorrectly closed.
Another thing that I observed is the fact that you modified
the SpryAccordion.js and you have done an incorrect changed on the
line 52:
this.useFixedPanelHeights = True;
and it should be
this.useFixedPanelHeights = true;

Spry panel - the first panel opens by default on entering the site

The first panel is open on default, I can close it, and access the others, but whenever i go there for the first time, its open. I want vistors to see the front page with all three panels closed. http://www.diocesanministriesfund.org
Also, not a big deal, but when you close one of the panels and return to the index page, it seems like the whole page gets stuck for a second and then renders.

In this line near the bottom of your document you have
var SpryAccordion1 = new Spry.Widget.Accordion("SpryAccordion1", {useFixedPanelHeights:false, defaultPanel:0});
This is where you have told the accordion to open the first panel. If you want all panel closed then make the default panel a non-existing panel as in
var SpryAccordion1 = new Spry.Widget.Accordion("SpryAccordion1", {useFixedPanelHeights:false, defaultPanel:-1});

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

On Windows (don't know about Mac), the latest version will always take over the file association, and become the default for indd files. It's impossible to change it.
But there is a plugin for ID that makes this possible. Never tried it myself.

How can I close all open subVI front panels, without closing my top level VI front panel when all VIs are built into executables?

I'm using the code shown in the sample VI discussed here: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/353A696A3F393D9B86256E8B007A2912
to close all open VIs except my top level VI. My top level VI is actually a separate executable and the sub-VIs are their own executables. All reside under the same project. It works very well if I'm running in LabView but will not work when I build them. I added all the sub-VIs to the Always Include box in my top level VIs properties which did nothing. I also tried adding them to the Startup VIs box. This allowed me to close them all programmatically from the top level VI but it also open all the VIs at once (which was expected and not desired). I think the problem is the executables are not able to see outside their own memory space so the top-level VI never finds any other open front panels to close. Is this correct? Is there another way to go about doing this?

Where do I begin…..
I’m using a “server” to control 4 “client” PCs. My server opens references to 4 VIs on each client then executes them sequentially. So on a normal day, the server will run everything itself and I will have no contact with the clients. But on a several occasions, I’ve needed the ability to walk up to one of the clients and run just one of the 4 VIs.
We are updating from LabView 6.1 to 8.5 and we want to run executables rather than VIs for various reasons. I have a new VI running on the client PCs who’s only function is to initialize the shared variables and open/close the VIs. I initially thought of making the remaining 4 VIs sub-VIs but I will loose the ability to run them individually. I think I would also have to rewrite the VI running on the server since the 4 references it originally opened do not exist. I don’t think you can open a reference to a sub-VI on another PC. Can you???
As you can see, this is a huge mess. I’m still pretty new with LabView so any help you can provide would be great.

Spry collapsible panel open by default

I've done a couple of sites where the left nav bar is a
series of
collapsible panels, each one housing links to products within
a specific
line. Would it be possible to insert code somewhere to get
one of the panels
open by default when you open a certain page, ie if you open
the 'suncare'
page the 'suncare' panel is open on load. I read something
about this on the
Adobe documentation but when I tried it it did't work.
It needs to be code somewhere on the page that interacts with
the spry
panel, I can't put it on the panel itself as I'm using a SSI
to insert the
nav bar into dozens of pages.

I had Firefix, however I downloaded the newest Firefox along with all plugins. Now when I click in the desktop icon firefox refuses to open my default webpage. Why?

I can go to internet explorer or AOL and it opens right up to my homepage but not when I click on Firefox.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

Hp officejet pro L7555 all in one printer. I had a paper jam which i cleared however the Door open rear access panel is open keeps coming up. I cleaned the contacts with a lint free towel and an eraser. I have powered down the printer nothing works. Help

What a mess you are having. This is horrible. I have Iyogi support on my computers witch takes care of ever thing but you have to pay them for subcriptions. I know they spent about fours setting up my HP C410a photosmart all in one with fax. They were zipping around every where from defauts settings, comand promt and services to the routers reset web page. Most of the time spent was just waiting for the software to install. I just ran into a snag what is your computers Windows 7 ? bits. I need to know this so you are downloading the right software pack. Then I will post directions on how to install them one at a time switch from one printer to another using devices and printers. In the mean time please go to programs and features and uninstall any printers software that maybe listed. So we can have a fresh start. I need your computers bit information. Thank you frrw. Agreed! I think it's absurdly rediculous that it can't be set to open by default on the "All Inboxes" screen! This SHOULD be an option! It's a huge pain to be forced to exit a "single accounts inbox" then go back into the "all inboxes" screen. It's redundant. LOL. I was really hoping that they would add this option in ios 7...

Panels all staying open

I have a spry accordion, and I have tried everything to get
it to work correctly. I have several others on other sites that
work correctly, but this one just will not close. All the panels
stay open all the time--when you first open the page and after you
click them. I have tried the code to set them to variable heights
and also the code to have them all closed upon load, and nothing
has worked. I had some other layers on the page before that I
thought might be interfering, but I removed all of them (detached
the page from the template and removed the .css rules).
Can anyone help?

Not possible. This is a file-specific setting, not an application-wide

As far as I know, we can use the different templates among the different Visio 2013 versions. Based on my test, Visio 2013 Standard version lists the unavailable templates category. Unfortunately， we can't use the stencils which are available in
Visio 2013 Pro version. I'll collect the this information and submit it with internal ways.

Why is Search panel/tab opening at the bottom of Dreamweaver every single time I want to Search/Replace something, its very annoying when I do not need this and I need to close it every time.
I never use this Search tab at the bottom and I'm pulling my hair like crazy just to get rid of it ASAP.

This should only open when you do a find all or replace all, and opens to enable you to review the changes or search for a specific line?
Is this the behaviour you are getting?
If you do a find (or find next), then individual replace, it should not open.

How to make InDesign files open by default in CC, not CC 2014

Now that I have 2 version of InDesign on my mac (10.8.5 - Mountain Lion), both CC and CC 2014, how can I make my .indd files open by default in CC instead of the new 2014 version?
I've tried selecting a .indd file, opening the Info panel and changing the "Open with:" option to "Adobe InDesign CC.app 9.2.2.103". I then click Change All.. and confirming. However, this does not work. Double-clicking any .indd file still opens in the 2014 version and the Info panel for any .indd file still shows the 2014 version as the "Open with:" default.
Any ideas?

Here are three methods. The first two are free but don't give you exactly what you want. The third requires a third-party utility and works perfectly.
(1) Right-click on a file and from the menu choose Open With... then choose the version of InDesign you want.
(2) Create an alias for your InDesign versions and place them on your Desktop. Drag your InDesign file onto the alias of the version you want to open.
(3) Purchase Soxy from Rorohiko:
