Part of a string contained in one element list's strings

Hi evebody,
I have process that use this sql request :
SELECT $code
FROM DUAL
WHERE $code IN ('BMW','MERCEDES','TOYOTA','PEUGEOT');
Actually, the code is a string which value is car brand. for example 'BMW'.
I want to change my process and have the possibility to put in $code multiples car brand separated by '||' . For example, 'BMW||RENAULT'.
In this way, howa could I change my sql request?
ie I want to check if a part of string exists in a element list's string.

One way is to use regular expressions:
SQL> variable code varchar2(100);
SQL> exec :code := 'TOYOTA';

The problem occurs with when I add new Services. I already have categories and subcategories, and if I do like Category = new Category { CategoryName = "Music" } then it works but I get Music entry twice in my database (for this example). I want to

After reading the article in the link that you have provided, I did the following changes in my models, and created controllers for each of them using Entity Framework, then I created a migration and named it InitialServices. Afterwards, I added a few

JAXB unmarshalling error for " " token as part of xsd:string type element

JAXB unmarshalling error for "<" token as part of xsd:string type element
We are getting a JAXB unmarshalling error:
while processing the following <condition> tag which is of type xsd:string
<condition> x < 100 </condition>
The error is probably happening due to "<" token as a part of string type.
xml.bind.JAXBException: Unexpected error in Unmarshalling
at oracle.xml.jaxb.JaxbUnmarshaller.unmarshal(JaxbUnmarshaller.java:224)
Any ideas how to resolve this issue?
Note
<condition> x > 100 </condition> is getting unmarshalled successfully by JAXB unmarshaller.

Addressing of part of the string in the container

in a mail task I would like to print only some characters from a string - e.g. from second to tenth - is it possible to address some part of the string in the container as is usual in abap?

Yes , it is possible. If you want to show only some part of the string value in mail description you can use normal abap string operations. For example: In Mail description if you want to show only a part variable VALUE. you can just use &VALUE+a(b)&. It will work !!

I agree with Shankycheil here, querying XPath will return XMLNode and thus can't be assigned to XMLNode.
But for debatching in Orchestration using Xpath is not a very good idea.
Because using XPATH loads the complete message in memory(XML Structure) and then performs processing.
This approach is always prone to throwing Out of Memory exception and low in performance also.
Therefore I would suggest you to perform debatching by calling XML Disassembler(XMLReceive) pipeline.
As pipeline works with Stream it will have better performance and you will also get complete control over the messages.
Refer the below samples for debatching using XML Receive pipeline within Orchestration.

The main problem here is you have only last two digits of year. That could be the problem in a couple of years from now, when somebody born after 2k would get in to your database. For now if we ignore this problem the right solution would be :

Suppose you are expecting the age of the car owner as a result above code will give you that. One again notice the '19' I appended.

How to get one element of a database with database toolkit

I am working with an access database in which I want to store information about all the computers that recide in a network. The information that I will store in this database is computer's IP address, computer name, etc. Now I want to look in my database the ip address of the computers and get the ip of every one as a string. What I'm trying to do is to convert the output variant of the block "get" to a two dimensional array for then convert it to a matrix in which I can get the elements one by one. Attached is the vi in which I'm working. If you can help me to figure out how to solve my problem I'll be very happy and if I am not in the indicated discussion forum please guide me to find the correct one.

Issue with part delivery of orders containing payment card lines

We have a problem with part deliveries of orders containing payment card authorizations.
Our customers can buy items in our webshop paying with credit cards. The webshop is connected to our payment service provider who authorizes the complete amount of each order. The order data including authorization data is transferred from the webshop to our SAP ERP (ECC 5.0), where order documents are created, delivered and billed.
For example, an order was created with 3 items:
A for 5 u20AC
B for 10 u20AC
C for 20 u20AC
For now, we create 3 payment card authorization lines according to those items.
Line 1 5 u20AC
Line 2 10 u20AC
Line 3 20 u20AC
Item C is temporarily not available, item A and B can be delivered and billed. The system now takes authorization line 3 (as 5 u20AC + 10 u20AC = 15 u20AC < 20 u20AC) for the first billing. The authorized amount of this line is completely consumed.
When item C becomes available and is delivered and billed, the creation of the FI-document fails because there isn't enough authorization amount left.
The creation of 3 payment card authorization lines is not mandatory for our business, creating one line for the complete amount would be as fine. But how can we avoid the complete comsumption of the authorization line then? Or do you have any other suggestions / best practices how to deal with part deliveries of orders containing payment card authorizations?

It would be worrisome to receive an email notification that we were unable to authorize your payment method, especially if the payment method appears to be fine on your end.
Generally speaking, when items ship separately from one order, we will authorize the full amount of the order when the order is placed. Authorizations may expire after a few business days, but as items ship individually, your card would be authorized and charged for the individual shipments.
Using the email address you registered with the forum, I was able to locate your order with the canceled amiibos. It would appear that we were unsuccessful in authorizing funds on the card on multiple occasions, and so the remaining amiibos were canceled. I apologize for any trouble or displeasure that this cancelation may cause you. I would encourage you to keep an eye on these amiibos on BestBuy.com for changes in their availability.

Using INSTR to extract part of the string ?

Morning guys and Happy Friday.
I have a situation where I have to pull out part of the string using a select statement.
Here is the string and I have to get the contents between the 2nd and 3rd backslash. So, basically, I have to extract marypoppins. Any ideas ?
C:\USERS\marypoppins\Docs\SpecificationHere is where I started ... and I have stumbled upon trying to find the 3rd backslash. I can easily start the INSTR at 4 because I know that it will always be 'C:\'

CS3: grep search to replace part of a string

Can I do a grep search for a string of text but only replace a portion of the string while leaving the remainder intact?

Find "some search string", Replace "some replacement string " also replaces part of the string, not touching anything...
But the GREP search has two advantages: First, if you define formatting in the Replace field (italics, superscript, a character style), only the 'search'/'replacement' part will be affected, rather than the entire found string (as in regular search).
The second big advantage is you can use any regular GREP single character wildcard in the 'left' and 'right' (matching-but-not-marking) parts. A few useful examples: '\d' (digit), '\l' and '\u' (lowercase and uppercase), '.' (any character), or even '[a-f]' (lowercase 'a' to 'f'). The only limitation is that you cannot use the once, zero-or-more, or once-or-more modifiers -- the strings must have a fixed length. FYI, those three modifiers are, respectively, ?, *, and +.
This restriction does not apply to the 'middle' string, the one you are going to replace anyway -- use whatever GREP you want.

Javascript - getting part of a string

I guess this is not a dreamweaver question per se, more

but I know a lot of people here are pretty well versed so I

I have the strings
Method1 ($5.49)
Method2 ($9.99)
I wish to retrieve just the numerical values and assign them
to variables.
So I guess in pseudocode what I want is to get whatever lies
between the
character strings '$' and ')' leaving me with 5.49 and 9.99
respectively.
I've been fiddling with str.match and other regular
expression things which
I do not fully understand and so far no luck.
Any help is much appreciated.

I know about regexp but don't know how to do what I need.
Anywhere in
particular you know of that can explain it? I've been stuck
trying to
figure it out for quite a while now.

How to get multiple elements into one element as multiple occurences

I can't figure out how to do this. I have an input message that has multiple elements and I need to take those elements and copy them into one element with each new element going in as a new occurence or instance. For example
I have this input under one parent node.

and this is the output I need

How to show only one element in drop list(common VO)

I have a common view object VO. In this VO one attribute is dropdown list , which i commonly used in some jsf pages .
Now in one particular jsf page i want show only one element in the dropdown list .
how can i handle with out distrib'g the common VO.

BTW, why you want to display only one item in the list.
If you are sure that the list will be having only one item, why don't you have it as inputText/outputText
How do you filter out the item to be displayed in the list? If that filtering is done on listdatasource bound to the list, the list will automatically show only one item(i.e, the filtered item)

You will need to use the intensity graph and keep the buffer yourself.
Init the data with background values and start filling then in using
Replace Array subset. Presumably you are in a loop. Recirculate the
data in a shift register adding new data each iteration and plotting the
array to the intensity graph.
Once you get to the horizontal edge, you need to decide if you split the
data to get rid of the first row and append a new background row to the
end making a strip chart, or do you clear the array and start over from
the initial edge again making a scope chart, or do you mod the index
with the buffer size and erase a row at a time in advance making a sweep
chart.
To update the scales, you don't have to change the data. Just write to
the Offset property each time you scroll and it will relabel the data
with 0 mapping to the offset value.
