Partner Function Determination

Dear all,
I want to create partner function for Sales Employee bcoz HR module is not implemented.
How i can create it?
is it possible to get any standard report with the help of Partner functon?
I want sales report with reference to  sales employee, is it possible?
Also without HR how i create Sales Employee?
Plz send some solution for the same.
Thanks & Regards,
PM

Hi PM,
1)First check that u have determined the partner determination
procedure.
2)check u have assigned it to the Sales doc type.
3)Then go to VA05,and enter the "SE" the code u gave
to Sales Employee Partner functions.
(For this the SE -customer master record SHOULD be present).
4)Even after this if u do not get "SE" in the partner function
field of the Selection criteria, then u need to do this:
Goto ABAP dictationary(SE11),find out the field for
"Sales Employees" in the Sales order Header or details
table.
Note the field name and the table name for this field.
Then ask the ABAPer to modify the input Screen
for t-code VA05 ,so that it displays the this additional field
"SE" along with "SP", "SH" ,etc..
By this u can arrive at the List of Sales Orders by Sales
Employee..
For further queries or clarifications, please get to me.
Thanks and Regards,
Umesh Karane.
Thanks ,
Umesh.

  • Org determination in transaction based on custom Partner Function

    Hi All,
I am trying to figure out how can I modify the partner determination procedure and org data profile to determine the sales area (org,dc,div,so,sg) in a transaction automatically without having to choose the sales org.
    Here is the set up:
Sales Org ->Soff->Sales group are permitted for Org determination in ppoma_crm.
Custom Partner Functions - Y1 and Y2 assigned to Sales Partner Function Category
Access Sequence YXXX has the following set up:
          Source                        PF                 Function Category          Usage
    10  COM_PARTNER_A
    20 CRM_PARTNER_C  Sold to Party
    30 CRM_PARTNER_C                         Activity Partner                 CRM
    40 CRM_PARTNER_C Sales Prospect
    50 CRM_PARTNER_C Activity Partner
Partner Procedure YPP001 has the following setup:
    Function    Access Sequence
    14              User                         Recurring
    15              YXXX                       Recurring
    21              0001                        Recurring
    23              YXXX                       Recurring
    Y001                                           Recurring
    Y002                                          Recurring
    Y1            YXXX                       Recurring
    Y2            YXXX                        Recurring
Org Data Profile YORGPROF01 is maintained for Scenario SALES with Org Model Deter Rule 10000177. Sorg and Dc mandatory set.
The transaction type YOPP is configured as shown:
    Org Profile YORGPROF01
    Partn Func Org Activity Partner
    Partner Determination Proc YPP001
    Now here is the issue:
We want that when we create transaction YOPP it should fill the Org data including Sales Office and Sales group from the partner associated with the PF Y1 which gets assigned automatically when the account is selected on the transaction.
With the above setting, it populates all the sales offices and sales groups that have been marked for determination in ppoma_crm (which we don't want it to do). We need it marked for determination so the BP's master data associated with Y1 shows up the sales group and sales office.
When the account is selected on the transaction and Y1 is determined via partner determination, we would want the sales Org also to get determined automatically from the Y1 partner's master data.
Anything that can be changed in the above settings to make this happen?
    Thanks
    PC

    Hi
Although i have no practical experience with this but an educated guess would be to use Partner function determination . If you have 'employee responsible ' PF , Then u can further use him for org determination.
    May be this helps...

  • Partner functions missing in the replicated order

    Hi Experts,
I Have created an order in ECC which has replicated to CRM with some errors partner functions are missing. could help me how to solve this  problem in below link you can see the detail analysis of the error.

    Thanks & Regards
    V.Srinivas

    Hi V.srinivas,
For Order Replication from ECC system to CRM system your Configurations for both the system must be Coinciding.
Hope your Partner Function Determination in ECC and CRM are also maintained the Same way, else check for the Determination of Sub-Partner Function determination (Ship to Party,Bill to Party..) in ECC and CRM the way its maintained.
The Main Problem arising in your Order is after replication from ECC System your Sub-Partner Functions aren't getting Determined,
Check for the Partner Determination Procedure in CRM for the Sub-Partners and try to Determine them from your Main Partner Function e.g. Sold to Party.
    Hope it Solves your Query..

    Thanks and Regards,

  • Partner functions for SAP Customer Master

I am in the MDM solution definition phase for SAP Customer Master at one of our Cients place. The requirement is to set up a central master data scenario where creation & modification of any customer record will be done via MDM. The following components of Netweaver are in the landscape - SAP MDM, EP, XI.
I need clarification on the following points -
    -  Is it possible to set up the partner function in MDM, if so, how?
    -  Need to replicate the standard SAP functionality where the system can be configured to create Ship To, Payer, Bill To automatically when a Sold To record is created. Is this possible? Are there any work arounds?
    Regards
    Arvind

    Hi,
    Hi Arvind,
    -  Is it possible to set up the partner function in MDM, if so, how?
Partner Function comes under Condition Technique in SAP ECC.here some config has to be done.
For mapping it in MDM, First create a Qualified Table - Partner Function.Determine the Non-Qualifiers and Qualifiers. Then as said by Suresh, u need Java API stuff to complete this task and frontend being EP.
    - Need to replicate the standard SAP functionality where the system can be configured to create Ship To, Payer, Bill To automatically when a Sold To record is created. Is this possible? Are there any work arounds?
It can be done using EP as front end and Java API to dertermine the partner based on the account group.
    Thanks,
    Felix

    Hello Prashant,
    You are missing some configuration for the partner function;
    Go- to
    SPRO>IMG>QM>Quality Notifications>Notification Creation>Partners>Define partner Determination Procedure>
Again Select "Define Partner Determination Procedure".
    Select Quality management> Change Partner
    Now Select Q2.
Compare settings with Partner Determination Procedure on any other client. Also check Partner functions on the same screen.

  • Org determination based on the Partner function

    Dear Experts,
I have a scenario where i need to determine the org data of an activity based on BP assignment in Org model. this BP is caluclated based on partner determination procedure which has got access sequence "Preceding Document: Activity Partner -> Preceding Document: Sold-To Party" & is actually an employee. This employee is assigned to org structure & i want to have the org data based on that.
Can somebody help me on that.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi Shashank,
In the customizing, under transactions->define transaction types,  cannot you make use of  "Partner function ORG" under "profiles"?

  • Determining Partner Function based on Status of Transaction

    Hello
I have a requirement in which parties involved needs to be determined based on the status of the Transaction.
Please let me know how we can fulfill this requirement. Is there any BADI for the same and if yes what code do we need to maintain.
    Thanks

    Hello Jatin,
You can always do order related modifications on Action profile. Based on the condition whether the header status is changed or Item status You can configure an action profile & assign a start and schedule condition for same.
The logic in the badi can be to update the partner function as per your needs.

  • Message determination and Partner function LS (Logical system) for PO

    Hi,
I have worked in the past with vendors (VN) as partner roles in a PO, with the message to create an EDI outpout to Partner Type: LI (Vendor), and this works succesfully.
Now, the idea was to use in EDI, a Partner Type: LS (Logical system) as a receiver of EDI messages (message types: ORDERS) for inbound Purchase Orders to the Partner.
So, we have set up a respective message condition, with Partner Function: LS  (Logical System), in transaction: MN04 (Create Output-condition records).
    A. When we use ME59N and create a PO with ref. from a PR (created from a sales order), the message determination works well, it reads the condition set in MN04 (condition records for messages), and creates a message (with output type for EDI , medium: 6, and partner function LS: Logical system). Message is created and idoc is sent to partner.
    B. When we try with ME21N, ME21 and we create the PO with ref. to the same PR, either by entering manually the PR in the document overview of ME21N or by selecting the PR (without entering the PR number), i.e with date, the message is not created in the PO.
Company code is assigned to purchase organization, and so is purchase organization to plant.
Any idea why there is no automatic message determination in the case of the transaction: ME21N?
There is a single message condition that is to be read for both cases (trans: ME59N and ME21N).
Note: If I try ME21N, and enter the output type and partner (=Logical System), manually, I receive a warning message :
VN006 (Partner XXXX does not exist for partner function LS). If I accept this warning message, then message is saved- idoc is sent.
However you can not assign a partner function LS to a vendor, in vendor master data, because of message CZ 327 (Can not use this partner role).
Anyone with similar experience? Thank you for your advice.

    Hi,
I well understand that the receiving partner can be a partner: Vendor (LI).
    I have seen that working.
However, in the Partner Profiles (trans: WE20), the receiver was created as a Logical System (LS).
We want the partner Logical system (LS) to receive the idoc for purchase order (ORDERS).
After that, I think that the idea is that the LS can generate an idoc for a sales order creation that will then outbound to another partner.  I think that this is the concept.
The issue is that I have seen that the POs created with transaction: ME59N, have received from message determination (trans: MN04) the message with partner LS (automatically), and the idoc of the purchase order (ORDERS) have reached the partner LS.
The question is why the message determination fails when creating the PO from trans: ME21N or ME21, with reference to the PR. Message condition is the same and message determination procedure is the same for both cases.
There is no issue with customizing for the LS in trans: WE20
(Port processing agent is Active for LS and ORDERS have the proper processing code for application EF).
I hope I am helping more with this.

  • Partner function SP determine in the sales order

    Dear SD Gurus,
I want to determine the partner function SP in the sales order, when not entered anyvalue, the sales should give incopleteness check.
But what the client here wants is that, sometimes the client wont enter any value on the sales order,so he will deleted the automatcally determined part function on the partner tab of the sales order header.
Here the partner function should be not mandatory (because when the client wants to deleted the line ofn the header tab, system doesnt allow to do it). Also the partner function should not be not modifiable, because he may want to change it when sth wrong has been entered.
So to automatically determined the partner function on the sales order, either modifiable or mandatory should be selected as I know. But when both are selected, this is not a good way for usage.
Do you have any suggeston to make this partner functon automatically determine on the sales order and when wanted, deleted?
    Thanks
    Jack

    Hi,
Try this way and see whether it's what is require by the customer.
First of all what is this Partner function your talking about?
Can you maintain this Partner function for each customer? If possible you can try this method.
    Go to below IMG path:
Sales and Distribution / Basic Functions / Partner Determination / Set Up Partner Determination / Set Up Partner Determination for Customer Master
Then highlight the "Partner Determination Procedure"
Double click on "Partner Functions in Procedure" node
If you haven't maintained your partner function there, add it
Set it Mandatory if you want it to be set mandatory for each customer.
    Save
Then go to below IMG path:
Sales and Distribution / Basic Functions / Partner Determination / Set Up Partner Determination / Set Up Partner Determination for Sales Document Header
Highlight the relevant Partner Determination Procedure for Order Header
Double click on "Partner Functions in Procedure" node
Add If you haven't maintained your partner function there, add it
Don't Mark it as mandatory or not modifiable
    Save
Now go to you customer master from XD02 transaction.
System will ask you to add new partner function as it is Mandatory.
Now create a Sales order from that customer.
System will automatically copy that Partner function to you Order Header.
If user wants to delete it, he can delete it from there.
If user want to change it, he can change it from there.
    Hope this helps !
    Best regards,
    Anupa

  • Partner function in Output Determination

    Hello everyone!
I am desperately in need of help, I guess like everbody else :).
I have 2 output types in the delivery header: OUT1 and OUT2
At any time, the system should determine only 1 output of these two (never both)
OUT1 is a specific output type based on Sold to customer (a specific customer#).
OUT2 is the generalized one; for all other Sold to parties.
I have a common Access Sequence with 2 tables (accesses)
Step 10: Shipping Point/Shipment Type/Sold to Party (exclusive flag checked here)
    Step 20: Shipping Point/Shipment Type
    Condition Records
    1. For OUT1: Defined a condition record only for first access (step 10) with a specific Sold To number. Here in Partner Function I gave SP.
    2. For OUT2: Defined a condition record only for second access (step 20) with no Sold To number. But it wouldn't let me save without partner function, this is my problem.....If I give SP in partner function it determines both the output types, while if I give some other Partner function it never determines this output type (even when Sold to party does not match condition record of OUT1)
    Any help is appreciated .
    Regards,

    Hey Vik,
    You have two choices
    1. Let you config remain the same
for one o/p type-- define the specific SP
for the other, maintain the rest of them except this one.. there is no limit so you could maintain many.. you can upload them using LSMW if you do not want to do it manually
    Else,
Use 2 different access sequences for your message types.. omne with condition access governed by a Specific SP, the other is generic.
Edit the requirement(9__) for the 2nd message type, and hard code logic saying if it is the first customer, do not genereate the 2nd message.

  • Service ORG determination based on partner function

    Hi
Pls let me know - How to tell from the config which partner function from a transaction say case or complaint, is being used to determine the service ORG unit at the header level of the transaction?
    Also
Suppose I have 2 partner functions
    1. A - std partner function - rule = "User"
    2. B - custom partner function - rule = "User"
Which one will the system use?
    Thanks

    Hi,
You need to define Partner Determination Procedure (PDP) where u r partner function should have 004USER as access sequence, then u can use "User orgunit" rule in org detemination rule to determine service ORG unit at the header level of the transaction.
If u have define more than one partner function as user in u r transaction system will set the same user in both place on the basis of u r PDP.
    Hope it'll help u.

  • Partner function not determined if not made mandatory in customizing

    Hi!
I have never come across this issue before so maybe it is standard system behaviour. My client is on a ECC 5.0 system and has the need to set upp an new partner function on the ship-to-party which should be derived on the delivery. I have set up the partner function to be available on the ship-to -party and also on the delivery document. However even if the ship-to-party master record has an entry for this new partner (whih is a contact person by the way), the partner is not determined at all on the delivery document unless I make the pertner function mandatory in partner determination for the delivery. This works, but I would rather only get the partner derived when there is a parnter stored on the ship-to. In the current case there will be an entry in the ship-to partner tab with the new partner function and number zero for all cases when the ship-to does not contain a record for the new partner.
    Any advice would be appreciated
    BR
    /Björn

    Hi Eric and Eduardo!
This issue is not really to get the contact persons created in the customer master partner tab. The issue is that I want the partner if available in the ship-to-pary partner tab to be added in the delivery partner tab. If no partner is available, nothing should happen at all.
I seem to remember that this behaviour is standard in the sales order, but I could be wrong. I did a similar set-up years ago and I think that the partners were derived without having to set them as mandatory in the partner determination.
The note of FAQ unfortunately did not solve the problem.

  • Vendor partner function is overriding my output determination for PO email

I'm trying to get a PO emailed to the user who created the PO based on purchasing group. I configured output determination so that a message is correctly getting generated -- in MN05 I've got the purchasing group tied to the VU (user responsible) partner function which specifies the SAP User.
My issue is that the PO is using the vendor (VN) partner function to pull in the vendor address which needs to appear on the PO form. So the system is always looking to the vendor's email for the output instead of my output determination message. Is there any way to disable this yet still use the vendor address for the PO form?
Note that everything is configured properly and I am receiving PO email based on the email in the vendor master. I'm trying to do the same using output determination instead.
    Thanks, Vlad

    Hi,
1.) got to transaction NACT, Select the Output type; say NEU, and then Select the Partner Function. You can change it as per your requirement for Ordering address, Vendor, Delivering plant.
2.) Yes you can use Vendor's address in the PO Form. For that you would need assistance from ABAP.
