I had the same problem yesterday, too. As far as I remember, it was working last week.

My friend and I have also been experiencing the same connectivity issues here in Ghana for about a week now. I am from the US and have had an account for several years. I am working on Mac OS 10.8.2 and I've tried everything from uninstalling/reinstalling Skype to creating a new account altogether, none of which are working. My friend who works on a PC has also experienced the same problem in the past week.
I entreat the Skype technical folks to find a quick fix as it is very frustrating to not be able to communicate with our friends and family. If anything, a courtesy email would have been appreciated if you were planning to cut off our service so that we wouldn't waste time trying to figure out the problem. -

Issue..
1) Defined the attachment type in IMG.
2) Added the attachment type "SFREEATTM" by selecting other attributes---> Attachment Types.
3) Attached the excel file in the design.

The Issue is when testing through tcode nwbc in the inbox the attachment tab is not visible after selecting the particular form.

We have a content query web part in the sharepoint site but it is not working after changing the DNS Entry for the web site ipaddress from one server to other . But it is working fine on the server, if we try to access the site from other system content
quey server its not working fine and its giving error message as bellow.

Image Processor not working for me. Help!
In a nearby thread I've reached a stumbling block. Image Processor in CS4's PS is not working for me. I have a folder of psd's generated on the fly via File > Export > Data Sets as File... and now I'm trying to process those psd's to generate a JPEG of each. The only strange characteristic of the auto-generated PSD files is that there is no image preview available within the Finder. When a psd is selected the preview pane reads:
"This layered Photoshop file was not saved with a composite image"
I've verified in my Preferences > File Handling that image previews are always saved. (But I've been using PS for a long time and previews are always available with all my manually saved work.)
So here's what happens when I invoke File > Scripts > Image Processor...
In section 1 of the menu I select the source folder where the psd files reside
In section 2, I select 'Save in same location'
In section 3, I select 'Save as JPEG'
In section 4, I change nothing. No special actions. Include ICC profile is checked.
When I select run I get an error message: "Sorry, I could not process the following files:"
And then it lists what appears to be 3 lines per psd file in the source directory:
The path to the source dir
The name of the source dir
The [source_dir]/[filename.psd]

The part I don't understand is the "export" Part. File > Export > Data Sets as File.. on my machine is grayed out so I don't know how this feature is used. Is Export > Data Sets as File... used with CSV data sets and Photoshop variables?
Check your Photoshop preferences and make sure you have set in the file handling tab "Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility:" to Always using the pull down menu. If that is not your current setting try setting that to see if the exported PSD files contain composite previews. When I use save as PSD on my system I alway see Photoshop save through up a popup window stating generating composite preview image. -
Out of office replies in Exchange 2013 not working for external recipients

Few days ago a couple of company workers went to vacation. They set up OOF automatic replies in OWA 2013. However automatic replies are not working for external recipients (outside of company). Internal users (company users) receive OOF notification.
I'm using smart host in sender connector configuration (SMTP server of internet provider) to deliver emails. Any clues about this problem ? Please find below part of the transaction log. For testing purposes i set up administrator account

What's This Help not working for one entry in each header file
I have a large RoboHelp project that I have imported into Version 8 from a previous version. Prior to the import into Version 8, all of the What's This Help in the project was working perfectly; now, post-import, I have a problem.
Firstly, some background information.
My project contains a large number of individual header (.H) files, one for each dialog within the software. These header files, which have been generated and provided by our developers, contain one entry for each field on the dialog to which the header file relates. The header files are all contained within a \HTML Topics\Fields\ folder (going from the root of my Help project).
Each header file has a corresponding text (.TXT) file. These text files contain entries that correspond to the entries in the relevant header file. The text files are also contained within the \HTML Topics\Fields\ folder.
Below is an example of the contents of a header file:

The What's This Help that was part of the original project still works perfectly. However, after upgrading the project to RoboHelp Version 8, I have had to update the project to reflect changes to the software. As part of this work, I have imported some new header files and updated some existing ones - and edited the corresponding text files accordingly.
The What's This Help that is covered by the header files that I have imported since the upgrade to RoboHelp Version 8 does not work correctly; in each case, the What's This Help does not work for whichever field appears at the top of the appropriate text file. The position of the entry in the corresponding header file does not make a difference.
If I manually edit a text file to move a different entry to the top then recompile the Help project, the What's This Help does not work for the field that now appears at the top of the text file - and the What's This Help for the field that used to appear at the top of the text file now works.
I've tried everything I can think of to fix this, but nothing has worked. It seems as if there is a problem in the way RoboHelp is compiling the header and text files.
If I use Microsoft HTML Help Workshop to decompile the CHM file, then view the contents of the resulting, decompiled text files, the affected files appear as follows:

SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPrivileges Not Working for Read Only Permissions Users
I have the following code in a method that generates tabbed web parts on any page in SharePoint 2010.
The problem is that it will not work for users who have Read access only on a SharePoint site. It will work when those users have Contribute access.
So even though I have elevated permissions in the code it does not actually elevate the permissions at the point where it is needed.

Activesync not working for Windows Phone with certificate
We have a new Exchange Server 2013 setup and using activesync. We have setup a policy to require simple password and to send an email to provision a device when it connects. Activesync is setup to use self signed certificates, this was
tested first on the Ipad. Certificate installed entered the settings and the device appeared in the quarantined devices list awaiting to be approved. This was also done on the Iphone and worked.
When putting the same certificate on the windows phone device it errored with there is a problem with {as.domain-name.net} and does not appear in quarantined devices screen.
I tested again with another Ipad and an android device and they work without an issue. Tested with a Windows RT device and got the same issue. If I look in the IIS log files I can see the windows device making a connection then when I presume
to be the error 500 at the end of the line.
This is not a user issue as I can use the same user on the various devices. The windows devices just do not want to connect. We have looked at the certificate but if it works for apple and android devices why does it not work for windows?
Is there any additional security settings that need to be turned on or off for windows phones? Is there something specific on the certificate what windows devices need that others ignore?I did inital think it might be a widows phone issue but there are no other settings for me to use. I have also tested using a windows 8 surface and I get the same issue.
I have raised the event log level on the exchange server to expert and I have seen 2 messages when I try to connect.
I get Event ID 1100: Exhcnage ActiveSync device requests for your uses are being blocked. This problme frequently occurs when HTTP OPTIONS method is not allowed.
I know it is allowed as the test exchange connectivity worked and passed that test.
The other error Event ID 1309 ASP.NET warning. Part of the exception messge is DeviceTypeMissingOrInvalid
I have come across a comment that says for certificates to work you need to use windows intune or SCCM which we don't have. Do we know if this is true? -
Style Code Not Working for Read Only Users !

Can anyone help us with this issue. We have created some special Styling code in order to hid the Quick Launch on the home page of our main SharePoint site. The Styling works no problem at
all for users with edit rights, however we found that the styling did not work for users with read only access. What we found was that if we switched on the "Edit Items - Edit items in lists, edit documents in document libraries, and
customize Web Part Pages in document libraries." in the List Permissions for the Permission Levels for the Read Access group, the Styling then works no problem at all. HOWEVER it then gives those users the ability to EDIT the site page, as it then
puts the Edit option on the page top right for the user to click and then mess up the web page, which we can not permit.
SO..... How do we get this styling to work for ALL user types ?Hi,
This usually happens when the CSS file is not published or approved, please check it.
If the CSS files uploaded in the Style Library, please check whether you had to check in those CSS files or not.

I have an event in my calendar that was sent by someone that does not work for the company anymore and I am reminded 2 times a week. How do I delete it?
Tap on the event to open the event. Click the 'Edit' button in the event bubble, then press the 'Delete Event' button at the bottom of the Edit pop-up. It's a little different for events that come through Microsoft Exchange, you tap the event to bring up bubble and click the 'Details' button, and then press 'Decline' to remove the event.

IPhone 6 External Mic not working for Siri/Dictation
I am finding that the external mic on my iPhone 6 works for phone calls and voice memos, but does not work for Siri/Dictation. When I plug in the earbuds, they work for everything (including Siri/Dictation).
Was chatting to Apple support who had me reset all settings. I thought that worked, but realized that after a reset, Siri is off and I was talking to "Voice control" (which works). When I turned Siri back on, it does not work.
I have two questions for the community to see if you can help:
1- I have been assuming this must be a software problem since the mic does work for non-Siri access. But is that true? Is there a hardware component that Siri depends on which could be faulty here?
2- If it is software, what action should I try to address it? I have done a reset all settings already and that did not help.
DougHi, everyone. I talked to Apple Genius at Apple Store last week, she said it should be a software issue and I needed to reset my iphone 6 plus as a new device and I can not use the backup restore from my iCloud, it was because the microphone bug or glitch can be in the backup also. Ok, followed her advice, erased all contents and set my iphone as a new device , the microphone worked for an hour, but went bad again. I used "voice memo" app from Apple to test the microphone. It is the best tool since it doesn't involve any provider's network and it doesn't need another person's phone to listen and test. If you can hear your voice recording clearly, then the mic works. I tested it 3-4 times a day for a few days now, half of the time the mic doesn't work. So, set as a new device isn't working. The issue is intermittent and it comes and goes as it likes, so very annoying. I carry my Apple EarPods with me in these past few days ust in case I need to make important phone calls. Will need to go back to Apple Genius this weekend for sure. Will give update after the weekend.

CALLER ID not working for International incoming calls

I've a strange issue where CALLER ID not working for International incoming calls, it shows INTERNATIONAL UNKNOWN NUMBER in the phone display, but the number shows correclty in Verizon Call assistant !!!

You didn't mention what country your Online Number is in. Not all of Skype's Online Numbers are eligible for use as Caller ID when calling telephones or sending SMS messages. If your number is from one of these countries (Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Hong Kong, Poland, Sweden, the UK and the US), then it can be used this way. Otherwise, you can use a mobile number from countries other than Japan or Mexico as Caller ID with Skype, after the number goes through a verification process where Skype sends SMS messages with codes to that number.
To get to these settings, log into your Skype account here on the Skype web site using the "Account" link at the top of this page. You'll see a screen that would include your current Caller ID settings, and a link to change that. If your Online Number is from one of those countries I referenced above, just select it and you're done.
