  • Passing Inner class name as parameter

    Hi,
    How i can pass inner class name as parameter which is used to create object of inner class in the receiving method (class.formane(className))
    Hope somebody can help me.
    Thanks in advance.
    Prem

    No, because an inner class can never have a constructor that doesn't take any arguments.
    Without going through reflection, you always need an instance of the outer class to instantiate the inner class. Internally this instance is passed as a parameter to the inner class's constructor. So to create an instance of an inner class through reflection you need to get the appropriate constructor and call its newInstance method. Here's a complete example:import java.lang.reflect.Constructor;
    class Outer {
        class Inner {
        public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception{
            Class c = Class.forName("Outer$Inner");
            Constructor cnstrctr = c.getDeclaredConstructor(new Class[] {Outer.class});
            Outer o = new Outer();
            Inner i = (Inner) cnstrctr.newInstance(new Object[]{o});
            System.out.println(i);
    }

  • How to pass file name as parameter into url: or fo:external-graphic src

    Hello gurus,
    In my rtf I want to dynamically get the name of the image file and display the image in the report. If use hard coded image file name it works but if I try to get the name into a variable and pass that variable it is not working.
    Basically my client is having different logos for each operating unit. in the OA_MEDIA directory there are separate logos for each OU. during run time based on OU name we need to display the corresponding image. If I can get this entire path($OA_MEDIA/logo.jpg') in XML field<?CF_OU_LOGO?> then I'm able to print the logo using url:{CF_OU_LOGO}
    But I'm using seeded data source and I cant modify the data source, I need to handle this in RTF only. I could able to get the file name into a variable but not sure how to pass to url.
    could some one help me on this. I tried the following options
    <fo:external-graphic src="url($ln)" />
    url:{$ln} in web etc...
    here 'ln' is the variable which holds '$OA_MEDIA/logo.jpg'. ln is defined as <xsl:variable name="ln" select=".//CF_OPERATING_UNIT" />
    later I set the values as <?xdoxslt:set_variable($_XDOCTX, 'ln',translate( concat('${OA_MEDIA}/','Logo',.//CF_OPERATING_UNIT,'.jpg'),' ',''))?><?xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, 'ln')?>
    thanks,
    Vijay

    What version of EBS is the customer running? I read somewhere that in R12 all of the concurrent parameters are passed to the XMLP template. I have not tried this but if true. You could create a conc program parameter that would hold the location of the image. You could either have the user pick the image or maybe derive it from the other parameter choices.
    Lets assume the token name is DLOGO you can reference that in your template.
    <?param:DLOGO?>
    this needs to be at the top of the template. Then where you need to embed the image just reference the value using
    $DLOGO
    You can embed this in the external graphic field
    As I mentioned I have not tested it yet, hopefully its there, if not there are ways around it. Try it first.

  • Passing Dynamic File Name to ODI nterface for processing to another system

    Hi,
    I need help regarding passing a Dynamically Name changing fixed length Flat File in ODI Interface. This interface is built for taking the Flat File as Input and process it to SQL Server by applying Data Mapping and transformations... The input Flat File Name is sequence generated for eg: OEORD1123.txt and next file will be OEORD1124.txt and it sits in Oracle Conc tier. How to pass the latest file name to ODI interface for processing
    Regards,
    Anil..

    Hi Guys...
    I would like to suggest a way.
    a) create a single interface with dynamic resouce name (a ODI variable) with a filter to the month column like:
    month_column = '#vCountMonth'
    b) in the refresh tab of a first variable (I named "vMonth"), use the following query: (varialbe should be alphanumeric, "not persistent")
    select to_char(to_date('#vCountMonth','MM'),'month') from dual
    c) create one more ODI variable (I named "vCountMonth"), alphanumeric, not persistent and at its refresh tab write:
    select lpad(to_char(#vCountMonth + 1), 2, '0') from dual
    d) now just create a package, drag and drop the objects in the following order:
    d.1) vCountMonth in set mode and set = 0 (zero)
    d.2) vCountMonth in refresh mode
    d.3) vMonth in refresh mode
    d.4) the interface
    d.5) vCountMonth in evaluate mode, evaluating "= 12"
    ==> if NO (KO, red line) link the KO line to d.2 step
    ==> a OK line is not necessary unless you have others steps after finish the evaluating
    Make any sense? That is a single loop to have the interface developed only one time.

  • Report file name as parameter

    There's probably a simple answer to this but I can't figure it out...
    I have made a jsp-page to view my report using CR4E's Create Viewer JSP wizard. Instead of hard-coded report file name, I'm taking the name from URL parameter like this
    myviewer.jsp?report=myreport.rpt
    The report shows fine until I click any of the controls (next page, print, export, etc.) in HTML-viewer. This seems to run some javascript code that calls the myviewer.jsp again, but loses all URL parameters! How can I preserve those parameters?

    Page navigation with the viewer works by post-back to the page where you've defined the viewer - the viewer interprets the postback GET parameters for the action required.
    This means that the ReportSource must be available for every postback - usually, it's stored in HTTP Session.
    Check out the following sample codes:

  • Is there a way to pass archive file name to the command-line control?

    Hi there,
    I have been researching the flash media live encoder laterly. But still cannot find confirmed anwsers on the following questions:
    1. Is there a way to pass an archive file name to the command-line control when starting an encoder?
    2. Can the username/password to the Flash Media Server be saved in the profile? If not, is there any otherway to provide(GUI mode) them automatically,
        like as variables to a script?
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Helen

    1. The only way to inform the command-line encoder about the archive file name is to save the FMLE session profile with the file name. The node for saving the file name is <output><file><path>C:\sample.flv</output></file></path>. The easier way to update the xml profile is to use "Save Profile" option of the GUI mode. If you want to programmatically update the file name, read the profile and update the node before launching the encoder. I hope this answers your question.
    2. No. Credentials can't be saved in the profile. The only way to provide them programmatically is to use /ap and /ab commands for the command-line encoder. For GUI mode, there is no programmable option. But still you can try capturing keystrokes.

  • Call File Adapter Externally and Pass on File name

    HI experts,
    We have a requirement where we need to call a file adapter externally to poll for a file.
    The File name needs to be passed on to the called Adapter and the adapter will poll for that particular file.
    Once it polls we will need to stop it -- in other words the the adapter will poll only when we call it externally.
    Any form of inputs / help on this will be greatly appreciated. We will initiate this possibly from a BPM.
    Many Thanks,
    Himadri

  • How to pass video file name to run shell script

    Trying to make an automator script that will 1. Start a video capture, 2. Stop video capture, 3. Rename video, 4. Run Shell Script. Here is the shell script:
    for f in "$@"
    do
    echo "$f"
    /usr/bin/podcast --server my.podcast.server --user myself --pass mypass --submit --file $f --workflow "my workflow" --metadata /path/to/file
    done
    Question:
    Do I need to create a variable in the automator script to pass it to the script? If I need the variable do I also need to use both Set Value of Variable and Get Value of Variable? If I don't need a variable does $f need quotes around them?

    I'm not familiar with the terminal command /usr/bin/podcast so I don't know what it does but what i said is correct. to pass a file to this action you don't need any variables. the previous action in the workflow should output the video file you want to process, that's all. how you arrange that is up to you. it's clear that you have to fill in appropriate things in that shell script like " my workflow" and path to metadata. But if you have questions about how this shell action works you should ask people who made it.

  • Issues to pass a column name as parameter. please advice.

    hi all,
    i have some difficulty with oracle reports. i'm a novice with 2 days beginner knowledge.
    i am not able to use lexical parameters in reports. my query is simple like
    select &col_name abc from xyz;
    i have tried making a parameter before creating the SQL but still i recieve the error saying that ORA-00922: missing expression.
    also i have tried with bind variables like
    select :col_name abc from xyz;
    but it gives a :col_name inplace of the records data.
    could some help me with step by step procedure for creating a lexical parameter.
    i am using reports 6i.
    please let me know for any details required.
    thanks in advance!!!

    When I create a lexical, I simply type in the SQL:
    select
    &lp_column_name
    from table_x;Save the sql, then the lexical parameter will be automatically created. After that you can specify what lp_column_name means, by specifying its value in the Before Report trigger. You'll probably have something like this in the PL/SQL editor:
    begin
      if :p_column_name is not null then
        :lp_column_name := :p_column_name;
      end if;
    end;where :p_column_name is one of the input parameters when user runs a report in Oracle Applications.

  • How to pass a file name to a ZAV exe to open with the prgm?

    Hello.
    Probably a "stupid" question . . . What is the correct syntax for launching a ZW virtualized application along with a specific file? For example, in a command window if I type "ProgramName.exe File.xyz" I would like the application to start and open the specified file. This works fine with the application installed normally, however I get a "Cannot find the specified file. Please verify that the file exists" error when trying the same thing with the app virtualized. If I double click on the same file in explorer, it opens the virtualized app and loads fine. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks;
    Nick

    So to select the directory, in the WHNE-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger write,
         :<block_name>.<path_item_name> := GET_FILE_NAME(' ', NULL, NULL, 'Choose any directory.', OPEN_FILE, FALSE);
         IF SUBSTR(:<block_name>.<path_item_name>, LENGTH(:<block_name>.<path_item_name>)) != '/' AND SUBSTR(:<block_name>.<path_item_name>, LENGTH(:<block_name>.<path_item_name>)) != '\' THEN

  • File name and path should be passed as parameter

    hi all,
    i am writing a set of statements into the text file. But i have to pass the file name and also path as a user enterable parameter.
    please suggest me to proceed further.
    for ex: i am storing it as
    output:=text_io.fopen(c:abc\def\out.txt','w');
    right now i am giving like this and storing the data, but now i have to allow file name and path as user parameter.
    please suggest me.

    please suggest me.Well, how hard can it be?
    You have to get those two parameters from your application into two variables, say "v_filename" and "v_pathname", and then create the file just the same way using the variables to construct the full path :
    output:=text_io.fopen(v_pathname || '\' || v_filename,'w');

  • Passing file name dynamically to sql loader ctl file

    Hi,
    I am new to scripting and I have a complex requirement involving writing a script.
    Requierment:
    I need to upload a CSV file from a FTP server into oracle table using SQL Loader. The file name resembles like APF0912312359.csv represents 31-DEC-2009 23:59 and there will be multiple files in same day indicated by differnt timestamp as its filename. Once I load a file using SQL loader, I need to move the file to another directory for archival.
    Since the sql loader ctl file has a fixed file name, I would like to know how I can pass the file name dynamically to ctl file to load a new file every time it runs.
    Any help is greatly appreciated..

    I agree with Pradeep in regards to declaring the file names on the command line. However, I do have a concern regarding presenting the password on the command line as any user that can issue a ps (assuming Unix ~= Linux here) would be able to read it while the sqlldr command is running.
    Unfortunately, you may not always have the option of declaring the files on the command line. I was recently challenged with this in a Windows 2003 Server environment running SQL*Loader: Release 10.2.0.1.0. In this environment I found that I am able to set a variable file name in a calling batch file and use that value in the control file successfully. Just to demonstrate the approach:
    Batch file:
    set IN_FILE=’c:\inbound\load_me.txt’
    sqlldr user/pswd@db PARFILE=’c:\parameters.txt’
    Parameter file:
    errors=500000
    rows=50000
    control=%CTL_FILE%
    bad=%BAD_FILE%
    discard=%DSC_FILE%
    log=%LOG_FILE%
    Control file:
    LOAD DATA
    INFILE ‘%IN_FILE%’
    INSERT
    INTO TABLE table_to_be_loaded
    I’m really interested to see if this would work on Unix.
