PAT file not shown in Support package manager

Hi All,
We had to create a custom BAPI to achieve an functionality in our product.
We are doing this for the first time.
As a standard procedure we followed the AAK (Assembly Add On ) toolkit to create the deploy-able.
Finally in the consolidation system we could see the following PAT file created in the out directory.
QA70020777848_0000002.PAT
I copied the file to the in directory of the production SAP server where this needs to be deployed.
I ran the transaction SPAM on the server.
Load packages from Application server
QA70020777848_0000002.PAT    SAPK-170COINCOMPANY1    @EB\QUpload Already Occurred@    0004    OCS file already exists in inbox. Upload not required.
IT decompresses the file properly.
Now the problem occurs ahead.
IF i click on the New Support package nothing is shown visible .
Am i missing any steps here.
Regards
Manoj

Got the solution in fact it's not a solution it's just an awareness on how the disks are available in fail-over cluster manager.
1) All the available disks are shown in fail-over cluster manager "storage".
2) While installation it asks us to add available disks for SQL Server then add accordingly. (Ex: E:drive for data files and L:drive for Log files)
3) Once the installation is done you see those disks in MSSQL (SQL Server) group.
Means when you click on Active node it should show you MSSQL (SQL Server) group in which you can find network name, network ip, E: & L: Drives, SQL Server and Agent services.
Note: MSDTC and Quorum are also clustered disks which can reside (Preferably Active Node) in any of the nodes but automatically fail-overs to active node in case of any passive node failures.

  • How to deploy EAR on CE server using Java Support Package Manager

    Hello,
I am using CE server where I want to deploy EAR file by using JSPM. I run this program in Drive:\usr\sap\CE1\J00\j2ee\JSPM\go.bat
I have also put the EAR file into the inbox folder Drive:\usr\sap\CE1\SYS\EPS\in but still It does not show me any file to proceed further for deployment.
    Does any one has idea?
    Regards,
    NK

    Hi,
The Java Support Package Manager is not able to deploy a single .ear file.
If the *.EAR file is placed inside an SCA (Software Component Archive) then JSPM is able to deploy it.
You have to create a .SCA from an .EAR file
SAP note 1223957 contains an attachment (nwpacktool.zip) which can be used to create a .SCA file from the .EAR file.

  • Support Package Manager for EBPCRM

    Hi,
In CRM/EBP SAP systems there is used special 'Support Package Manager for EBPCRM' to implement Support Packages instead of standard transactions like SPAM/SAINT.
I'm trying to implement more then one Support Package into the system however this is probably not possible. It seems that it is not possible to create import queue with more then one Support Package? Importing SPs one by one is very time consuming task. SO that's why I'm wondering about this special tool.
    Do you have similar functionality?

    Hi Jose,
Yes I've put all the SPs into '\usr\sap\trans\Eps\in'. But 'Support Package Manager for EBPCRM' asks me for particular one while I'm going to import it. There is no such an functionality to use queue creation.
BTW: I'm on SAP CRM 4.0 on WIN/MSSQL platform.

Maintenance Optimizer, support package Manager, Support package stack
And the purpose and most importantly the documentation to be able to use them
in case of implementation phase (In case of a fresh ECC 60 Production version)

Support package stack is the collection of patch for a release.
Support package Manager is SPAM/SAINT used to apply support pack.

  • Disks are not shown in Failover Cluster Manager

As per the validation report we have successfully configured cluster between two nodes. Active Node

Had a glimpse on few earlier posts and all I understood is that Windows Server 2008R2 has a bug and MS is working on it.
Do we have any fix for this issue? Please suggest.

  • Support Package Manager: SPAM/SAINT Update

    Hi,
I downloaded the SPAM/SAINT Update and executed it with SAPCAR in the directory of the  Application Server Folder. The original file KD74053.sar (6767 kb) is still in the folder, but a new file 'signature.smf' (5 kb) appeared.
    What is that one for?
Next, I think that I should be able to take a next step with transaction SPAM (Support Package --> Load Packages --> From Application Server), but it's 'blanked out' and not accessible.
What are the next steps and how do I really get the SPAM/SAINT update working, so I can proceed to my actual goal, the Support Package Update.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
To reset DDIC password you could go with
    SQL> select bname from usr02 where mandt='000' and bname='SAP*'
If the user SAP* exists then delete the user with below command
    SQL> delete from usr02 where mandt='000' and bname='SAP*'
Run the below command to verify whether user deletion was successful.
    SQL> select bname from usr02 where mandt='000' and bname='SAP*'
    SQL> commit;
After that  login to client 000 with SAP* and password as pass

  • Question about OSS Notes, Archiving and Support Packages

    Hello,
does anyone know if all the OOS notes related to archiving programs corrections (category like "performances", "program error", "advance developments",
"legal functions", "corrections of legal functions", "problem", "exit added", "special developments"...) are all automatically appllied on SAP when a support packages is installed?
    Thank you
    Best regards

Looks like the only requirement is Vcenter and Vsphere 4 client.  So version 4.0 and up is supported.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/application_networking_manager/5.1/device_support/table/sdt.html
ANM 5.2 and 5.1 includes a plug-in that allows you to integrate ANM into  a VMware virtual data center environment. VMware is a third-party  product for creating and managing virtual data centers. Using VMware  vSphere Client, you can access ANM functionality and manage the ACE real  servers that provide load-balancing services for the virtual machines  in your virtual data center.
To use the ANM 5.2/5.1 plug-in, you must use VMware vCenter Server and  VMware vSphere Client 4.
For more information about using ANM in a VMware virtual data center  environment, see the User Guide for the Cisco  Application Networking Manager 5.2/5.1.

  • Users in flat file not shown in Ressources Tab

Is it normal that users saved in flat (XML)files are not shown in the ressources tab?
When I acces the active directory or a WINNT or Solaris passwd file I see a "+" in front of the ressource with clicking on it I see all users within this ressource.
But there's no "+" in front of my XML ressource also I have some users saved within my XML file!?

I think you must be looking at the reconciliation account index. Only resources that you have reconcile against will have entries in the account index.

  • RSC Files Not Appearing in RH Project Manager

My three-writer group has experienced a number of RoboHelp/RoboSource Control problems in the last week.
    First this is our setup:
    1. Two writers with 64-bit Windows 7, and one with 32-bit Win 7. We all have the latest patches and updates.
    2. Our RSC database is on a remote machine that has 32-bit Win XP.
After a time where our group successfully updated our project, I was given a new laptop with Win 7 (I had previously had a 32-bit Win XP desktop), we have now encountered the following problems:
    1. No one can open a RH project from version control. We go through all steps and when we open the XPJ icon it finally crashes after taskbar status messages of something like "Querying version control." It thus crashes at one of the final steps in opening a project from the database.
    2. Even on our remote machine, I cannot open a RH project from version control.
    3. For some unknown period of time, it appears that the three of us have not had our changes uploading to the database because nobody's desktop RH project looks the same. Out of the three of us, I have many--but not all--of my changes up at RSC. I have no idea where my colleagues' changes went.
    4. An unspecified number of files are listed in RSC as well in the File Status pod in RH but they are NOT appearing in the Project Manager pod. If I try to move one image file with the same name into a folder where the original should be, RH displays an error message saying that it already exists there--even though I cannot see it in Project Manager nor interface with it.
I have used RH for 11 years but RSC for just 1-2. I have never seen behavior like this before and it's really brought our entire OLH efforts to a halt. Can anyone tell me what I might do to restore, if not the database, a version of the XPJ that has as many of our changes that DID make it to RSC?
    Thank You,
    Chris

It appears that most of these files are ruby gems (nokogiri, redcloth, etc.). I cannot remember how nor when they ended up here (this is a 2 years old Arch installation).
I already remove all manually installed gems from my system but these files remain. If any of you has an opinion on what would be the best way to clean this, I'd be glad to hear.

I interpreted that as in you used pacman to remove them, my bad. Just to make sure though, you did 'gem uninstall' as root, right? Running it as a normal user just removes the gem files from your user's home directory.
If they're not known by pacman or gem, then you'll need to identify and remove them manually.

  • Uploaded file not shown

I have uploaded pdf file to files.acrobat.com (89Mb), but it is not shown in list of uploaded files (no errors). I tried it several times.

Hm, it's getting more and more tricky...
From stack trace I figured out the Macromedia driver ColdFusion seems to be using when I just select "Sybase" as driver type, so I configured it using "other" as type:
    JDBC URL: jdbc:sybase:Tds:<servername>:1433/<dbname>
    Driver Class: macromedia.jdbc.sybase.SybaseDriver
For comparison, I used the following parameter to configure it for the Sybase provided JDBC driver:
    JDBC URL: jdbc:sybase:Tds:<servername>:1433/<dbname>
    Driver Class: com.sybase.jdbc4.jdbc.SybDriver
To my surprise, the Macromedia driver still does NOT work with cfqueryparam, I got the same error!
As I mentioned before, I cannot select "Sybase" as driver type on our production server because it's Standard Edition, so the only option for me to use Sybase is to configure the driver this way. Now it seems no matter what driver I use, as long as the driver is configured this way, INSERT won't work with CFQUERYPARAM?!
Needless to say, I'm really quite frustrated by this...
