Hi
As pre- requisite of patch 6241631 we have to run 'Technology Stack (TXK) Rollup Validation Report'
In Technology Stack (TXK) Rollup Validation Report we got warnings (NOT FAIL) for
1. "OEM comment" from the Applications Context file is:
If you are using the Oracle Enterprise Manager from the iAS Oracle Home within the Applications install, you must update the "OEM comment" (s_oemcomment) value in the Applications Context file to blank.
2. "Session toplevel domain comment" from the Applications Context file is:
If you are using Oracle Portal with Applications, you must update the "Session toplevel domain comment" (s_topleveldomain_comment) value in the Applications Context file to blank.
can we ignore these warnings ?

I was applying patch 6241631 yesterday which is hanged till then on the following state:

Is there any message in alert log? Did you try to restart workers?There is no (error/warning/abnormal) message reported in alert log. Yes, it "Restarted" but again "Failed"

Patch 6241631 fails on "APPS.FND_STATS" has errors

While applying the patch I got this error

I tried to manually compile the APPS.FND_STATS package as the apps user and was met with this error

Question about patch/patch log

Hi,
I just applied the patch R12.TXK.A.Delta.6 patch 7237313.
The adpatch session ran and completed.
When reviewing the log file, i can see the following:
"Cause: Error while trying to read metadata from file /apps/ebs/demo/demoora/10.1.3/j2ee/home/lib/<lib>.jar: No metadata entry META-INF/JRIMETA.DAT found."
I just want to validate if this is really an error or just an informative message?

Please see (RC-50004: Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: oracle.apps.ad.util.SystemCheck.suCopyDirectory(Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/String;J) [ID 746025.1]).
For (Patch:6372396 TXK AUTOCONFIG AND TEMPLATES ROLLUP PATCH S (APRIL/MAY 2008)), it is an AutoConfig template patch and it should not tocuh your custom programs.
Please note that this patch was replaced with (Patch 9535311 - TXK AUTOCONFIG AND TEMPLATES ROLLUP PATCH U).

Hi,
I get error "Ex.. in processTrxBatch...java.lang.ClassCastException" while doing Miscellaneous Transcation.
In Miscellaneous Transcation, I gave Miscellaneous Recpt(RG Update), Item, Subinventory,Locator, Account and Lot/Serial and save.While saving it's gives error.
Please give the solution for the same.
